Chapter 8, Cairnholm.
Tatiana, Jake, and his father Franklin were on the boat heading to cairnholm, Tatiana was reading a book, well it looked like she was, but she was looking at the photo of Alma Peregrine. Tatiana wasn't paying attention to what Jake and his father were talking about.
Tatiana looked up when she heard a screech, and she saw a peregrine falcon hovering above her. When she leaned against the boat, the picture of Alma was visible. Franklin noticed the bird and showed it to Jake. Jake looked up at the bird.
"Miss Peregrine, it's me, Jake Abe Portman's grandson don't crap on us," Jake shouted. He looked at his father.
"Dad, I'm kidding," Jake said. The falcon flew off towards the island. The boat finally got there, so Tatiana closed her book. They grabbed their suitcases and got off the boat, and walked to the inn. They grabbed the keys to their rooms from the owner and walked to their room.
Franklin gave money to two guys named Worm and Dirty D to take his son Jake and Jake's friend Tatiana to the other side of the island. They did and showed them the shortcut to the house they saw that it was destroyed. In the loop, Miss Peregrine changed into her human form and went inside.
"Children, she is here along with Jake Portman. Abe's grandson." Alma said. The children were excited more about seeing Tatiana.
