HI STARLINGS.

I JUST HAD THE GREATEST IDEA EVER.

WHY NOT ASK YOU GUYS TO CREATE THE COVER FOR THIS STORY? SO FOR THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THEIR ART DISPLAYED AND HAVE IT AS THE COVER, PLEASE SEND YOUR ARTWORK TO ME! IF YOU WANT YOUR WORK TO BE THE FACE OF THIS STORY, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DM me or send me an email: marexhani at(you know the symbol thingy. Yeah. FF won't allow me to put that here) Gmail dot com.

:) :) Gosh. I am such a genius.

Anyway, on with the story

This particular part was inspired with the song: All the stars by Kendrick Lamar ft. Sza. I know this has happened a few months ago but even now, it still hurts.

RIP to Chadwick. Gone too soon. A true legend and the reason why I became attached to Black Panther. A humble soul that have changed millions of mindsets and became a hero for children. For teens. And for simply people who needed someone to relate. Thank you for being our hero.

Rest in love forever. Rest in power King.

Lots of love,

B7K.

The words punched Natsu in the gut. His breath hitched and suddenly, the urge to throw up felt overwhelming. His stomach hurt and his hands rolled tightly in a fist. The one place that he had tried avoiding with all fiber of his being. It was the one place that he made sure to never go near. That place held in the reason why this country was falling apart and it was the reason why Natsu was left alone to deal with the demons of his past.

And just when he thought that was the worst, Macao's next few words made the pinkette feel as if the world was crushing him.

"They will be killing off everyone outside the wall."

"A-Are you serious?"

The look on Macao's face darkened. He wished he was. He wished that the news that had spread like wildfire was just mindless gossip amongst the lost commoners. However, it seemed like the worst was yet to come and this whole ordeal was only the beginning.

"It seems to be that the military has been stocking up on firepower and human resources." Macao added, feeling extremely uncomfortable with passing the information over to the young male before him. His eyes glanced over. And obviously, Natsu was not taking it well.

"And as of current, the citizens are preparing to leave as soon as possible. You know... to avoid the coming strife."

Natsu slumped down onto the ground. His mind going haywire with worry and anger. With stress and sadness. Wasn't it enough for those bastards to block them off? Wasn't it enough to segregate in terms of social hierarchy? He didn't understand. And maybe, he didn't want to understand why those bastards hiding in the City of Walls came up with an idea like this.

"This is messed up..." The pinkette mumbled, hands reaching up and gripping his hair. Fingers tightening. Knuckles turning white with rage. Angry tears started forming up at the corner of his eyes.

"This is messed up." His words shook. Anger bubbled within. With sudden urgency, he stood up quickly and grabbed Macao. Dragging the older man by the collar to the headquarters' door.

"There's no time to waste. We have to start preparing our departure." Natsu started, pushing the large wooden doors open, "I don't know what kind of mechanisms inside those goddamn walls but we are not going to risk anything."

The loud thumping of boots echoed in the hallway and bounced of the brick walls. The sounds of hitched breathing and clothes rustling rolled into the silent building. Macao could only keep up with the pinkette.

"I've already spoke to the others before this happened actually. Preparations have begun but there's only so much we could do to save everyone else." The older man said, clearing his throat. The two walked downwards towards the basement. A few turns until they were completely underground.

"What's your plan?"

Macao ruffled his hair. A thoughtful look on his face. According to his sources, none of the ones dwelling inside the City of Walls knew that the Outcasts knew about their plan two months in advance. Of course, Macao could've shrugged it off at the time but knew that something this wasn't something to simply 'shrug off'.

"We've already started building space ships. Or rockets. Whatever you wanna call them." Natsu blinked. Rockets?

Macao seemed to understand the confusion and chuckled lightly. Both men heading towards a large steel door. Quickly, the dark-haired male punched in the pin on the security pad on the right side. Activating the security locks to disengage.

"Ever since the appearance of the new earth, members from various outcasts have come together and we've decided to send as much people as we can to the new earth."

Natsu spluttered. He knew Macao was a very ambitious man, but he didn't think older male had so much... well, potential. No offence to the pervert.

"Why do I feel like you've been doubting my potential this whole time?" Macao muttered, after seeing the obvious look on the pinkette's face,

"Don't think too much about it..." Natsu laughed sheepishly, "You're just imagining things." Macao rolled his eyes.

As mentioned, Macao led the pinkette towards a large hanger. And as he highlighted previously, about four spaceships loomed dangerously over the workers, who were vigorously fitting parts and fixing things. The more Natsu stared in amazement, the more questions were raised inside his head. For people who were casted outside the City of Walls, there was a lot of talented mechanics and engineers to make this whole thing work.

"Who came up with all this?"

Macao blinked, "Are you telling me you don't know who I am?" His tone told the pinkette he was offended. Incredibly offended. And why? Well he was about to find out.

"Well... I can't say you've shown me the brighter things in life." Natsu replied in defense. And Macao squinted at him. He was just looking out for the pink-haired male. Surely... maybe not on the emotional or physical side but more so on the, perhaps... sexual side? Macao snuck a look at the pinkette who stared with a judgmental look back.

"Exactly." Natsu gritted.

Macao let out a hearty laugh. He led the both of them to a small office with papers stacked on the table, a coffee cup and dusty books placed on the floor. Webs on the corners of the wall and a small couch at the corner. Seemingly rotting away in this office.

"Welcome to the office." Macao breathed out, pushing away some papers to the side and sitting at the desk. Natsu eyed the couch warningly, hands quickly dusting across the seat before sitting down.

"Thanks. I've always wanted to sit on a dusty couch in a haunted office." Natsu chuckled. Settling his scout bag on the ground carefully. The older man ignored the comment and reached to the bottom right, opening the drawers and bringing out another file.

"What I'm about to tell you," Macao started, looking strictly at Natsu, "Is for your ears only. And I would highly appreciate it if you also assist where you can to get this over with to do as much as we can."

Natsu nodded.

"My name is Macao Conbolt. I was the head director of the Tech-mechanics department that started up the movement of robotic assistance."

"After the last meeting with the Department, the leaders wanted to make society in a way where the commoners belonged to one faction. Myself and a few others declined the notion but we barely reached majority. Eventually, the notion became a move and so we were fired from our positions due to the threat we posed against their wishes and because they didn't want any hindering in the near future."

The words from earlier that day rang repeatedly in Natsu's ears.

After meeting with Macao, the pinkette could only wander aimlessly back home. Thoughts ran quickly through his mind. After so much negligence and abuse from the people in the City of Walls, why would they want to do something like this? He couldn't understand the motive.

He didn't notice himself reaching for the notebook and climbing soundlessly to the rooftop. He didn't notice how easily his hands moved to set up the telescope and how perfect the scope focused on the place he wanted to look.

And there she was.

But he didn't have the heart to talk tonight. He felt a little... off. As if he was cheating the conversation. But he didn't want to tell Lucy. That would be the last thing he'd want to tell someone on another planet.

He smiled a little bitterly. Despite talking for a whole month, she became so good at telling his feelings just by his face. Lucy had pointed out the way his face would scrunch a certain way when he was annoyed. And she would pinpoint which parts were the telltales.

And she picked up the bad mood.

Natsu? Is everything okay? He felt really bad that she had to see him like this. Regardless of how much he tried to hide it, Natsu knew that it was only a matter of time before she picked up on the clues written across his face.

But he needed to offload all this pressure too.

Ah. Not entirely. A couple of things have happened and it's been playing on my mind the whole day.

You can tell me. But only if you are in a safe space and you're comfortable.

Lucy was always this nice. Extremely nice. But this would be the perfect time to enquire about things according to how far their planet would be apart. So he could make informative decisions when talking with Macao later on during the week for preparations.

Lucy... I know its a lot to ask. But how far do you think it is from our planet?

It seemed that she had been thinking about the same thing as well. Her face brightened slightly and he watched as she scrambled over her pages, pencil scribbling and her face washed with light pink.

But it's quite unfortunate that they weren't looking for the same reason. She could be wondering to perhaps visit. And he was wondering to escape death along with thousands of other people.

I thought about that a lot. So I've asked for some help a few days ago.

Natsu sighed. Well... he would need to try and work out how he could make things work without worrying her too much. And without causing too much suspicion with the blonde at the same time.

Great! What did you find?

As long as she doesn't find out about what was going on with his planet, he wanted to protect her from knowing too much about the dirty place that he was embarrassed to call his home. As long as she stays the way she is, he didn't want to wander to the dark side of his planet.

Well... we aren't too far. In fact... we are just within 1.2 million miles. Or 1.9 million million kilometers.

Natsu's mouth dropped. How the heck did she find that out? Wait. What did that mean in days?

And as if she read his mind, another page flicked in view of his scope.

It would take at least two days from my end. I'm not quite sure about your side.

Two days?! He'd be lucky if his side could move over in one month with the lack of resources and manpower! But... he could perhaps relay this information to Macao. This would certainly help a lot.

I'm not too sure. But if I was gonna estimate, I would say the minimum would be a month. I'd have to ask a certain someone.

The blue-haired man that drinks?

Natsu wasn't too sure if she could see the way his eyes widened in surprise to look at the stars. Mouth agape and his mind in shock. He wanted to yell in utter exclamation on why or how she knew that about Macao. He quickly looked back in the telescope to only see her laughing. Hand reaching up to wipe away the tears away from her eyes.

HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MACAO?!

It felt like he could hear her laugh from the other side. Nevertheless. The way her face scrunched up in sheer laughter and the way it lit up in a light shade of pink on her cheeks made it all the more reason to why Natsu shouldn't unload the passing events on his planet.

No.

He liked it the way it was and it will never change as long as he could live.

The clamming sounds of pounding footsteps broke Natsu from his thoughts and the pinkette looked down through the gaps and recognized the small patch of hair that entered the front door. His eyebrows raised. What was Romeo doing here at this time of the night?

As if in on queue, the younger male looked up and broke out into grin.

"Guess what."
