Hello friends. English isn't my first language and I am getting better as I write so please be patient and tell me of any errors so I can fix them. I like the Harry Potter Series and Dragon Ball. All of Dragon Ball. I read a lot of fanfictions and would like to take a shot at writing one. This is Goten in the Harry Potter world. Goten will not be nerfed. In the Yo Son Goku and friends movie, It was stated that both Trunks and Goten were as strong as Freeza. They kept up with their training so they still should be around that level. Other DBS characters will arrive later.

Chapter One:
Goten in a magical world
Planet Earth was home to the greatest mortals in the entirety of the universe seven. It housed the pinnacle of Humanity, Saiyan kind and Namekian kind. The planet had been destroyed before, but luckily that destruction had been reversed. Now it was in an age of peace. After the destruction of Moro by an annoyed Beerus, no more enemies had shown up. Freeza was out there somewhere in the vast space of universe seven, but he was staying quiet for the time being. Goku,Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin trained hard, sometimes visiting Broly on Vampa.
Over time, Broly opened up to the Z Fighters, giving them the training of their life while he honed his newly learned martial arts. Even Krillin got a boost in power over time from the training. Tien and Yamcha had improved their dwindling friendship enough to hang out every once in a while. Goten was growing, having finally seemed to break out of his perpetual ten year old look.
As of now, Goten, Gohan and their father Goku were working in the Farm Chi Chi had them tend over the years. All three of them wore the same outfit for Farm work that fit their size. A light tan short sleeved shirt, tan gardening gloves, blue jeans and tan boots. Chi Chi was the one who had the outfits made, saying the three would not wear their Gis all day every day.
Goku had showed his sons how he use to plant and till fields as a child under master Roshi and they did it as a sign of respect and Nostalgia. Also, it was quicker and much more effective than the slow tractor Goku used to use. The midday summer sun shone down on their backs as they covered the land. When they finished their jobs, the three leaned against a small cliff next to the fields, in the cooling shade. Goku pulled three water bottles out of his backpack he had set down next to his left.
Passing the bottles one by one to Goten and Gohan he relaxed and took a swig.
"That was pretty fun huh?" He asked, looking at his sons.
"Yeah dad, its amazing that you used to do this with your bare hands" Gohan said, wiping off the sweat that was rolling down his forehead from the heat and work.
"Hahaha, yeah. How about you Goten? You doing okay?" Goku asked his other son who sat on his other side.
Goten was still taking time to catch his breath. He had pushed himself the hardest out of all of them. Goku's training required them to not use their Ki when plowing the fields, requiring them to use only their natural strength. Ki was an amazing thing, but Goku instilled the mindset that they shouldn't rely on it for everything. A strong body was paramount when training.
"huff-huff, yeah. It was really fun! Thanks Big bro! Thanks Dad!" Goten huffed out between deep breaths as he sat there taking in the nature around him.
"Hahaha That's good Son" Goku laughed as the three sat against the cliff looking out over the fields a birds chirped and the light wind rustled the leaves of the nearby trees as they sat there enjoying each other's company, drinking and eating.
Goku told stories of his childhood to Goten and Gohan who sat in rapt attention taking in the wonderful and sometimes downright scary stories their dad told. A few hours later, the sun was starting to go down and the sky was starting to go from a light blue to a navy blue while the winds died down completely.
Getting up from the cliff, Goku got a sly grin on his face, the type of grin one would make when they were plotting something. If it was on someone who was not Goku it would be a cause for worry, but when it was their father, it was even worse. Goku looked at his two sons standing in front of them excitedly. Goten and Gohan shared a weird look as they thought about their dad's mental health.
"Hey Gohan, Goten. How about we have some fun" Goku asked, a mischievous look in his eyes.
"Uhh dad what are you planning?" Gohan and Goten asked, kinda put off by their father's question. Whenever Goku got this look, trouble would come one way or another.
"Dimensions" Goku said, looking at his sons expectantly as if expecting at least Gohan to get his meaning.
"What about them dad?" Gohan asked with his right eyebrow raised, a slight tinge of worry in his voice.
"Yeah dad, Whats the plan?" Goten asked excitedly, his mindset different from his older brother's.
"It's time for my two sons to have an adventure like I did when I was a kid!" Goku said excitedly as the ideas flowed through his head.
"You want to go with us to another dimension as an adventure?" Gohan asked his clearly insane father with his jaw dropped.
"Exactly, I remember master Whis saying we could go to another dimension using the portals under Lord Beerus's planet. And the best part about it is we won't take anyone other than us! We could have the bonding time we have missed for a long time. Just us three for a few days. What do ya say?" Goku said happily, he would be taking a vacation with his Kids and going on an adventure.
"You're kidding, right dad?" Gohan asked, giving his father a disappointed stare. Surely his dad was joking? He had a life, a wife and kid to think about. Even if he thought having an adventure with his dad and younger brother, it just wasn't practical in the slightest.
However, the young Goten had no such Reservations and looked at Goku with sparkles in his eyes and amazement in his voice as he questioned him.
"You really mean that Dad?" Goten asked amazed and happy at the idea of going on an adventure with his big brother and dad.
"Aww come on Gohan, we'll only be gone for a few days and besides, I can take us back with instant transmission if anything goes wrong" Goku argued his case, but his eldest son stood firm.
"Don't get me wrong dad, I'd love to go on a vacation with you guys, but I have a wife and kid to think about. I can't just go gallivanting about like when I was a kid" Gohan retorted, causing Goku to shrink back slightly hurt from his son's rejection.
Seeing the hurt look on his father's face Gohan sighed slightly ashamed at his hurtful words. Then he felt Goten grab his arm tightly, looking at him with the cutest most pleading look in his eyes.
"Come on big bro. It'l be fun. I've wanted to go on an adventure like this for a long time. Pleeease?" Goten begged his older brother.
Overwhelmed by his younger brother's display and slightly ashamed of the harsh rejection to his father, Gohan's will broke.
"Okay fine. I'll talk to Videl about this tomorrow and see what I can do. No promises though" Gohan said with a tone that said it wasn't a certainty. Embarrassingly for him, he couldn't hide his own smile seeing the happy grin from his father and the cheering of his little brother.
"Okay, lets go home. I'm starving" Goku said as he took to the air, his two sons following close behind.
"Yeah, I needa take a shower hahaha" Gohan laughed as he took a whif of his armpits. Not even the best Deodorant could save him from a full day's work stench.
When the three arrived back, the sky was a peachy orange and Chi Chi was standing at the front door of the house with her arms crossed across her chest.
"So Goku, You have any explanation as to why you're home so late? With our kids no less?" She asked a slightly annoyed scowl on her face as Goku and the kids arrived.
"Well you see" Goku started to come up with an explanation but Chi Chi cut him off.
" 'Well you see' nothing mister. Gohan, Goten. Go inside and wash up for dinner. You Goku, you're coming with me" Chi Chi said while ushering Gohan and Goten inside.
After closing the door and listening for the kids footsteps to leave to a different room, chi chi's annoyed facade dropped as she walked up to Goku with a smile on her face.
"Uhmm Chi Chi?" Goku asked when she put her arms over Goku's shoulders pulling him down towards her.
"Quiet Goku. Let me have this" Chi Chi said as she pulled Goku in for a kiss. Stunned for a second, Goku's eyes went wide before he held her and kissed back. They stayed like that for a few moments before breaking apart, a thin trail of glinting saliva connecting from their close together mouths. The two looked at each other with love in their eyes before the moment was broken by Goten who had come out to ask his dad for something.
"Eww dad and mom were kissing" He said with a yucky face.
Chi Chi sighed, slightly irritated as she broke from her embrace and walked back towards the house.
"Go back inside Goten, And Goku We'll finish this tonight" Chi Chi said, giving Goku a seductive smile before the three walked back in the house.
The night went by peacefully with a delicious dinner and bedtime story for Goten. Gohan decided to stay over and do some quiet studying.
However, for Goku and Chi Chi, The night had just begun. The loving husband and wife had an exhilarating night full of all sorts of positions and techniques leaving the two thoroughly exhausted with little rest when the morning eventually came.
After a nice filling morning breakfast and talk, the family parted ways. Gohan went over to Videl's to have a talk with his wife about the opportunity Goku brought up.
Chi Chi and Goku trained Goten together, giving the boy a very fun morning. After the training session was over, Goku and Goten went over to the farmer's market where Goku's Vegetables were being sold. The stall owner that Goku did business with ran over to him with a large orange envelope in his pudgy hands. The man was short, bright eyed and overweight. His name was Danzo.
He wore a dark green cap with a dark green shirt and brown sweat pants that were stained here and there with paint and other unknown substances.
"Goku my friend! Your vegetables sold amazingly! Bring more whenever you can please. Here's the profit for you. Is that your kid?" The man asked as he handed the envelope full of Zeni to Goku, happy to do business with the saiyan.
"Yeah. No problem!" Goku said, happy about the thick envelope. He wasn't great with money, but he knew the more there was, the happier Chi Chi was.
"This is my son, Goten. He's a strong little guy" Goku said while ruffling Goten's hair as the young Saiyan shied away.
"Hey kid,you got a good father. Make him proud" The vendor said with a warm smile to Goten.
"I will" Goten said while clenching his fist determinedly, overcoming his shyness for the opportunity to show his dad that he could be strong.
"Thata boy. Hey Danzo, Have you seen any good fish around here? " Goku asked the venndor.
"Yeah, Linza just got a big haul from up north. Fresh Redfin Salmon. You need some? I can get you a discount" Dannzo said, more than willing to help his comrade.
"That would be great. Chi chi loves it" Goku said while following Danzo through the tents and stalls, holding Goten's hand to make sure he didn't get caught in the throng of milling people.
The two and a half men stopped in front of a large stall that was covered in fish of all shapes and sizes. It stretched for a good eight meters and two men walked back and forth, tending to the fish and working with ice coolers.
At the far left end was a relatively small cutting table where a tall woman, a good six foot tall stood chopping the heads off small silver fish and tossing the heads into a small red and white cooler that sat open next to her.
She had light, slightly tanned skin, shoulder length sandy blonde hair with a red bandanna and a brown outfit. Her corded, slightly muscular frame coated in a light sweaty sheen. The outfit consisted of a short sleeved brown shirt, dark brown gloves and a brown set of Khakis covered by a light brown apron that was smudged with fish off-cuts and blood. Her piercing orange eyes, were focused and determined as she did her work with the steel knife in her hand.
As the men walked up to her, she raised her head and greeted them with a wave of her knife before she realized she had the knife in her hand, quickly putting it down on the table.
"Hi Danzo, Hi Goku, Hi Goten. Here to buy more Salmon?" She asked in her slightly rough, looking to Goku questioningly.
"Hi Linza, you know it. Chi Chi loves it and so do I" Goku said taking out the usual amount from the envelope and placing it on the Cash register next to the cutting table.
"Coming right up" Linza said, going to a large metal freezer behind the stall and opening the metal door. A blast of frosty air washed over Goku, Danzo and Goten as Linza unloaded four large bags of frozen Salmon each three feet long.
Putting them in a cooler bag, she hauled it over to Goku who grabbed it and slung it over his shoulder.
"I'm always amazed at how you can carry these bags so easily" She said to Goku who smiled back and said "Thanks. I trained pretty hard".
"That's for sure. You need anything else?" She asked him.
"Nope, me and Goten here have to head on home. Thanks for the fish. See you later Linza. You too Danzo" Goku said, putting the letter in his pants pocket. After the two were out of sight of the fair both Goku and Goten took to the skies.
"I can't wait to hear what Gohan says when he gets back" Goku said to Goten as they flew across the land, the hills and fields blurring by under them.
"Yeah, he'll say yes. I'm sure of it" Goten said before grinning at Goku.
"Race you home" He laughed to Goku who laughed back.
"You're on!" Goku said before speeding up with a sonic boom causing Goten to do the same flying far off into the horizon.
The two made it back with a lot of time to spare. Therefore they helped Chi Chi prepare the fish and clean the house. Goku complained halfheartedly but ended up doing the work regardless. The hours passed byy before Gohan made his way over to the house.
Coming inside, he was instantly questioned by Goten about his answer.
"Well Goten, I talked with Videl and she was fine with it as long as I wasn't gone for more than a week. Luckily it's summer vacation and I'm not teaching any classes for the next month so I got the Okay" Gohan said lifting the young Goten up and spinning him above his head.
"Is that you Gohan?" Chi Chi's voice came from two rooms away closing in on them.
"Hi mom. It's me alright" Gohan said affectionately before putting Goten down and wrapping his mom in a hug.
"Oh it's amazing how big you've grown over such a short time. All grown up with a wife and Kid" Chi Chi said as Gohan released her and made his way over to the living room where Goku was sitting at the large wooden circular table, munching on a stick of beef jerky.
"Hey dad, Good news. I got the Okay from Videl" Gohan said, getting a happy look from Goku.
"That's Great. Now all I have to do is let Chi Chi know I'll be out for a few days and things will be all ready. Wait here".
Goku made his way over to Chi Chi who was working on salting some of the salmon when Goku decided to just go for it. He told her he was planning on taking Goten and Gohan on a vacation for a few days to get some bonding. No androids or death tournaments, just some father and sons time.
Chi Chi was fine with what he said. If they weren't fighting and Gohan didn't have class to teach, it wasn't too big of a deal. Besides, she had faith that the now family man Gohan could keep his dad at least somewhat in check. So they were in the green.
Thanking Chi Chi for her understanding Goku gave her a quick hug and kiss before running out with his two sons.
When hey got out into the front yard, Goku had the two hold on to him as he instant transmissioned to Beerus's planet, surprising Whis who was near to where they arrived. However, since Goku wasn't there to see Beerus, whis just greeted them with a wave and went back to eating an ice cream sundae he had gotten secretly from Earth.
Goku, Goten and Gohan made their way over to the edge of the Golden pyramid to the large platform of soft purple energy that lazily swirled underneath them.
"Looking down, Gohan expressed a little reservation.
"You sure nothing could go wrong?" He asked Goku who shook his head.
"I can just Instant transmission back here with you if something goes wrong. Just hold my hand" Goku said before jumping with Gohan and Goten down into the purple portal.
"Oh dear" Whis said as he watched them jump in.
"Goku must have forgot my warning. It will be hard for him to get back. Oh well, I'm sure he'll be fine. I put a language translator for anyone that goes through from this side. The dimensions connected to this are hardly capable of effecting him or his sons anyways" Whis said to himself before going back to his sundae. The affairs of mortals like Goku were not his priority, if Goku lived or died he would still be the same angel either way.
Goten att thhe last moment shhut his eyes nervously and let go of Goku's hand causing them to be separated across space and very slightly, time.
Glug Glug
When Goten opened his eyes, he was underwater in a mirky deep lake, the dark green water was filled with sea weed and various fish that investigated him before swimming away.
Gaining his bearings, gohan shot upwards and out of the water.
Into the winter night?
Small flakes of snow drifted lazily down from the sky, causing the little Goten to shiver in cold. Luckily, he could flare his Ki to warm himself up and dry off from the water. Now in the warm embrace of his Ki. He looked around. He was surrounded on all sides by a large forest, except for a massive castle ahead of him.
Warm lights emanated from the windows and corridors. That was enough to tell Goten to go there if only to get out of the cold.
Flying across the lake like a tiny white comet, Goten arrived at a small stone arched corridor leading to an open wooden door.
Walking slowly down the corridor, Goten made it to the door and poked his head inside.
It was a warmly lit hallway with metal torches on the wall that flickered and cast the light he saw.
"Uhm hello" Goten called out. However, there was no answer. Walking further in, he heard footsteps slowlly walking towards him from the curve at the far end of the hallway.
"Great someones here" Goten said happily and began jogging over to the person coming. Then the person turned the corner.
It was an elderly man with very long hair and a large prominent forehead. He was slightly hunched over and wore a slightly dishevel brown suit. His face was sharp and old and his black eyes stared disgustedly at Goten.
"You're not a student are you? I don't recognize you. Who are you?" The man said as he looked Goten up and down.
"Uhm hello mister. I'm Goten and I don't really know where I am right now. Can you help me find my dad?" Goten asked, his voice honest and eyes passing no judgement.
Argus Filch was taken aback. The student usually looked at him with fear and sometime barely veiled disgust, but this child in muggle clothes and weird unnatural hairstyle looked at him with genuine unjudging innocence.
Silent for a second and unable to find a hint of deception in the boy's voice, Filch scoffed and said "follow me. I'll take you to someone who can help you. No funny business though, you hear?" Then turned around without another word and walked down the hallway.
Goten thanked the caretaker who didn't even respond and followed him while looking at the halls and architectural wonders they passed.
This would be the start of Goten's magical adventure.
