My name is Panchy Pachycephalosaurus.

I'm the Guardian of Lightning of Dainason Kingdom of the Secret Dinosaurs and believe it or not, I'm actually the very first discovered Secret Dinosaur of the century!

You all may think I'm a spoiled youngster just because I'm Secret Element. But that's not true at all!

Allow myself to show you all how my life as the first Secret Dinosaur is before the others come along!

The true story!

It all started after I was hatched out from my egg in a big nest.

I was just an innocent little hatchling with child-like personality. The first thing I saw was a weird looking small creature known as humans when it introduced itself.

"Oh! How precious! Hello there. I'm your parent, Dr. Z. That's it little fella, come to Papa. Yes. That's my boy!"

That's what he said to me and give me a hug.

The instant his head made contact with mine...

Hit! Hit! Hit!

I gave multiple heatbutts and he release me from the hug.

Oh, my head. As for why I'm doing this, my dinosaur species, Pachycephalosaurus has a fact about our proud dome-head. If showing off or making contact even if not threatened means it's a challenge!

Well, moving on... My everyday life together with Dr. Z as my parent, despite not the same species, was kinda enjoyable and fun without getting punished or scolded one bit.

Right now, he allowed me to play with another Pachycephalosaurus my parent found. He looks like me in every way as expected from my kind, a Pachycephalosaurus. He and I played together and even challenged each other to a headbutt battle to test our strengths. We were almost like brothers.

"You're not so bad, Panch."

Panch AKA Panchy short nickname from punch. That's the name Sunny gave me from the way how my headbutts are packing a punch. Haha!

"So do you, Sunny. Next time I'll definitely beat you." Panchy.

"Haha, anytime!"

My first playmate dinosaur friend, Sunny and I became fast friends. Whenever Dr. Z was busy with his work, I spend all my day doing whatever I want with my playmate.

However, my happy time reach a dead end...

After I grew up a little bit almost adulthood, he switch to my child form for some reason.

"My child, your play time with your friend will have to wait. I need you to help me with something."

The look on my human parent's face made me feel anxious. Let's just get this over with quickly so I can go back and play! Sunny is waiting!

And so, he placed me in a weird looking thing then he press random buttons and flip the lever as I look up and saw a bright light coming straight on my dome-head. A few seconds later, the thing explode!

Boom!

Ugh, my head! I feel like as if it's been impact with an enormous amount of energy.

"Aha! Success! Oh my child, your head's shining bright light from all colors of the rainbow! Now let's test this new power! Hehehe~"

What? What is he saying? I don't like the sound of it.

Yes. This is the beginning of my new life as a Secret Dinosaur.

"Yo! What took you so long? Eh...?" Sunny.

"Sorry I'm late, let's play... Um.. What's wrong?"

"W-w-what happened to your dome-head?! So bright!" Sunny tried to cover his eyes from me.

"Oh, sorry." I don't know it myself but somehow I manage to lower the brightness of my dome-head.

"Anyway, let's play headbutt smash again! Come on, let's go, go!"

Haha, Sunny is just as energetic as always. I could never catch up with him.

Bam! Bam! BAM!

During that last headbutt, I knocked Sun off balance with unusual strong power strength.

"Woah, how did you get so strong so fast? I like it! Now, time for me to get serious. Come at me full force!"

"Are you sure? Then..."

As we position our stance, Sunny all set as he come for me.

"Here I go!" I gather all my power into my dome-head, but instead of going straight... A blindingly bright rainbow light fire from my dome-head and it hit Sunny!

ROAR!!!!

Thud!

I open my eyes and I find something shocking! Sunny looks all so terribly hurt and he can't get back on his feet again!

"SUNNY!"

I ran up to him laying down on the ground.

"Are you alright?! I'm sorry! I don't know what's going on with me?"

I really have no idea where all that power came from but then I instantly realized it must be from what Dr. Z done to me!

"You're really strong. I admire you. But I'm sorry..."

Sunny's voice starting to faint and I couldn't feel him breathing anymore...! Oh no, I... I killed him...? Sunny, I'm sorry! Come back! NOOO!!!!

It all happen so fast! I don't know what to do as I beg sunny to open his eyes while screaming in agony!

"My child... That was amazing! Your Laser Ray attack fusion in you was a success!"

Gasp! What... What did he say?!

I turn around and found Dr. Z, my human parent behind me smiling in an evil way while laughing.

No way!

He did this to Sunny, my best friend! And to me too! He gave me this terrifying power and it killed him... I killed him!

Unforgivable... Absolutely UNFORGIVABLE!!!

I roar out in anger for the first time. I want to punish Dr. Z for hurting both me and Sunny!

However, I couldn't take my revenge on him when he change myself into a card form.

Oh Sunny... Please forgive me. I'm so sorry. I'll definitely avenge you!

For who knows how long I've been inside my card form, I couldn't get over the fact that I lost my only friend while playing an innocent game.

Suddenly, something happened and I was summoned out!

ROAR!

I need to let out some steam! Unconsciously, I bang my dome-head on some kind of tower 3 times.

Where am I? More importantly, what am I going to do now? Hmm, from the looks of it, I think my no-good human parent is nowhere in sight and I'm on my own now.

Sunny... I miss you. Hmm?

Something caught my eye. Something shiny. I unconsciously look up to the sky and I saw a bright sun shining in the sky.

The sun... Just like Sunny, my first playmate friend.

Suddenly I recalled something Sunny said when we were young.

"Why was your name like a sunny day? I'm curious."

"That's something my late mother gave me after protecting me from a storm when I was an egg. The day when I'm almost born, the sunlight shone on my eggshell revealing my body inside. That's when she named me Sunny after the sun shines after the rainstorm. Kinda silly, isn't it?"

Listening to his name's meaning is interesting but most importantly full of pure love.

Looking more closely to the sun in the sky made me think of him even more that I could see his face in it.

"Sunny!"

Maybe if I go to the sun, then maybe I'll get to meet him there! Alright here goes!

My running continues to no end. I know that but I'm not giving up. My desire to see Sunny even though he's not alive anymore made me hallucinating whenever I see even the faintest of lights.

As I run, I saw more human creatures who looked different from my parent. They all just run away from me thinking I'm going to eat them or something. But that's not what I'm really after.

Just then, I heard a familiar voice from behind me. It's the one voice I despice the most.

"Oh, my dear long-lost Pachycephalosaurus!"

I turn around and flash my bright dome-head blinding him and quickly dash away in a flash!

Back to finding the sun...

Suddenly, I hear a roar but lower. Oh no, it's a carnivore! Which means... Dr. Z or one of his friends used it to catch me. No! I can't be eaten now!

Running away until out of sight, I make a U-turn and strike it then use the pillars like a domino to finish off.

Phew. Somehow that carnivore dissappear from sight as I sigh in relief.

Gasp, the sun show itself from the clouds!

However, all that running and the sudden goose chase made me tired. Maybe I should rest for a bit.

Just then, I spotted my former parent and his 3 friends earlier. My anger inside me still remains. Maybe this could be my chance to punish him while pretending to come back to him.

Here goes nothing.

"Are you suggesting that my own creation of a Dinosaur could be beaten by a bunch of snot-nose little kids?! He and I are so closely connected! I feel his presence!"

"Hey, me too. I could practically feel him breathing down my neck." The fat one said.

"Ah! That's because he is!" The thin one said.

Shock to see me, the 3 drop him down.

Happy to see me, he began to tell me... "There you are my magnificent child. Look how big and strong you've grown. I remembered when you were just an egg. Come on home where you belong and you'll be the masterpiece of my dinosaur kingdom! Don't be shy, give me a hug!"

Ugh! I see you still don't even have a slight guilt in you! How could you still say that after what you did to me and to Sunny?!

Suddenly, a screeching sound came from behind and I saw 3 small humans on wheels.

When they made eye to eye contact with him, they got into a argument conversation about me. Dr. Z threaten them by ordering me to attack them with my secret power.

No! No! I don't want to use it! This power is terrifying! Instead, I turn around and I caught my eyes on the sunlight reflecting in a glass. I came to my senses when it break.

Suddenly I feel something from the small spikes on my head... Ah! He's on my head! He's on my head! Get off of me!

I try to shake him off the best I can while running hoping he let go soon.

A while later, who knows how far I run, I give my head 1 last strong shake and he let go! Finally!

"Where did I go wrong?! He hates me!"

I REALLY DO HATE YOU! GET IT TO YOUR HEAD ALREADY!

Hmm. There's light again. Since I lost sight of the sun from the distraction, maybe that light I saw will lead it to me.

I ran til I reach a huge round building with lots of holes.

Huh? Suddenly, I saw a small round floating is above my head...

AHHH!

I've been shock by an amount of electric! It hurts! It really hurts! Stop it!

I managed to break free from the shock and I turn myself to face my former parent in anger.

How dare you!

"Here goes! Come on out Spinosaurus!"

"Tyrannosaurus, Volcano Burst!"

"Attack him!"

Oh no! They summoned 2 carnivores at me! A red and blue theropods!

Just then, 3 more dinosaurs appear. Another carnivore from earlier, a horned, and green hadrosaur.

Oh no! More of them! I'm outnumbered!

I sensed a light again. It's the sun! I can't quit now, I have to go where Sunny is! I jump up the wall and climb up.

Huh? Oh no! The blue one is almost near me!

"Ace! Go save the Pachycephalosaurus!"

"Please, I don't think so! Spiny, Tail Smash!"

Huh, the medium blue theropod came in front of me facing the big blue one. Maybe... I could do this! I jump out of the way before the big blue swing it's tail.

Phew! That was close. Now... Huh? No! The sun! It's gone! GAH! NO! I'M REALLY MAD NOW!

I take my anger out on my earlier enemy and beat it with multiple headbutts. "It's your fault! I lost Sunny!"

I don't know who to trust anymore! I give more headbutts to my enemy dinosaurs for getting in my way even if they're herbivores too!

I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU ALL!

I didn't want to do this after what happened with Sunny. But they leave me no choice. I gather all the light energy and prepare to launch!

"Neck Crusher!"

"Lightning Strike!"

Hmph! Don't think so! I dodged the horned attack and launch my Laser Ray attack at full power! The horned one is still there lying in defeat while the red theropod is my win.

Hah! My strength is starting to grow weak after using all that power. No, I have to keep going to see the sun once more but first...

"Ah~Will you look at this? My baby has realized it's error and is returning to me!"

That's what he said. But the truth is I'm just pretending to come back to him.

"That's it! You remember at last who your father is! Ah! Good boy!... -Woahhhh!"

From the moment he embrace my head... I fling him high in the sky!

Let's see how you like it and feel the pain you made me and Sunny suffer! I feel refreshed!

As I look up from where he was thrown up, the clouds part open and revealing the sun again!

Gasp! That's my last chance! Sunny! I'm coming!

I run up to the top and jump up high as I unleash my remaining energy left. After that, I fell down hoping if I die, I could reunite with my best friend again.

However, my theory fail. Instead I shine and turn back into my card form.

Sunny... Please forgive me...

While being back to my card form after unleashing all the remaining energy I had left from my dome-head made me tired and exhausted.

I guess all that going for the sun was all for nothing. I knew it's impossible but I did it anyway. If I die giving up from loss of energy, I would be reunite with Sunny in another world.

"Panchy... Please live."

Is it me? Or is it that I could hear Sunny's voice?

Suddenly, a bright light silhouette appear and to my shock, it's Sunny!

"S-Sunny? Is... Is it really you?"

"Who else could it be? I am here... But... I'm not actually here... Alive, that is."

Not alive? But how when I can really see him?

"This is my spirit form. I just wanted to talk with you and I want you to please live... for me."

"But! It's my fault I did this to you after what that human did to me and this power he gave me made you gone! I'm sorry!"

"I know that but I would never hate you for this. You're like a little brother to me and the days we had together was entertaining. Especially when we Duel each other. Please Panchy, forgive yourself. I may be gone, but I'll always be with you in the light of the sun. Just like my name."

Sunny said all that calmly with a smile on his face and he nuzzle me. "Sunny..."

"Live your new life happily and if you're ever lost, remember this, the most brilliant light you can find is in ourselves."

The most brilliant light you can find is in ourselves? What does he mean? He didn't mean my bright dome-head, right?

"Goodbye, little bro. I wish you happiness!"

Wait, Sunny! No, he's gone again.

But... At least I get to see him one last time and knowing that he forgives me made me glad. Taking his words of encouragement, I promise him that I'll be happy about my new life as a Secret Dinosaur with unique powers even if it's dangerous or powerful than any other elements.

The second time I'm being summoned out, I'm in for a big surprise! Other than seeing dinosaur of different species, there's a couple of dinosaurs which I could feel in common.

Their bodies all glow bright rainbow colors and I sensed powerful energy coming from them.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to talk to them when we were look like a battle going on. There's an unusual large and scary theropod with dark aura.

Just then, I feel a sense of deja vu on my head! I know this feeling.

GET OFF MY HEAD, OLD GEEZER!

(Around this part, for those who already watch the Dinosaur King anime, just imagine it.)

The last time I was summoned out, I was together with the other remaining Secret Dinosaurs where after we all ate that mysterious fruit that gave us long life and many, many more years pass.

I never would have expected that to happen to me. Well, I guess there are good parts about it after Dr. Z's finally gone and I got to spend more time with the Secret Dinosaurs like me but from different species in our paradise called Dino Village.

My new home together with them was great. Well except that I still thought about Sunny from time to time if he were alive.

After the arrival of new Secret Dinosaurs, the Pawpawsaurus Trio Family, I became their friends and most importantly to their offspring, Peter.

One day, while I was admiring at the rainbow, Peter arrive with a little human girl on his back.

"Panchy! Look! Look! Cera-chan came to play!" Peter.

"Kyaa! So bright! Hi! I'm Cera! Nice to meet you!"

Hmm... This little human girl looks cute with red hair like an apple and eyes as blue as the sky.

From what I heard before, some of my Secret Dinosaur friends said something about some female humans who could understand and communicate with us. Is it true?

"Peter told me about you, Panchy! Haha! You're so sparkly. Like a diamond prince from the story!"

Diamond prince? What is this human girl saying? I get that I'm shining from my dome-head but... A diamond prince? Why?

(SOMETIME LATER)

Spending time with this human girl, Cera turn out to be quite unexpectedly interesting and fun. It's true that she could understand our language is one thing but there's something familiar about her which kinda reminds me of Sunny. She even drew a picture of a rainbow for me after she knew about my likes for lights of the sun or rainbow's from Peter.

As for why she called me a Diamond Prince, she show me a fantasy novel about a young prince of Diamond Kingdom.

The young prince in the story had an older brother who was the king of their kingdom. The brothers loved and respect each other while performing their respective duties as king and prince.

The Diamond prince in disguise went out to the village and he come across a beautiful girl with long silky blond hair like the sun and blue eyes singing a beautiful song. They fell in love at first sight.

One day, the prince's kingly brother passed away from a war against an enemy which ended in their kingdom's victory. The prince was sad and heartbroken. After his brother's death, the prince was made the new king. In the beginning, he doesn't have the confidence to rule like his brother did but his lover encouraged the prince to rule his kingdom in his own way while respecting his late brother.

Finally, after some time later, the prince happily rule his kingdom and then he proposed to his love to be his queen and they live happily ever after.

This story about the prince and king was a lot like me and Sunny. I see now... What Sunny meant by" The most brilliant light you can find is in ourselves."

Sunny... Even if you're gone, I'll always remember you from the light of my memories we made together.

How do like Panchy Pachycephalosaurus backstory. Surprised to see it like this?

This chapter reveals that it's Panchy's Pachycephalosaurus friend who gave his name and Cera know it when she and Panchy met for the first time in her future time which makes him the first to be given a name not from a human since Dr. Z never really give his Secret Dinosaurs names except when naming dinosaur siblings(Deinonychus Trio).

I still have Therizinosaurus left to fill out!

Well that's what I was planning when I wrote it. But if you really want, then I'll write Erwin Eoraptor's profile and story as the last entry. There's still time to think.

I'm afraid Brontikens is out and as for the second Deinonychus Trio and Megalosaurus that the Space Pirates used won't be touched on. Sorry!
