Location: Norrisville High School parking lot
"Who are you guys?" Randy asked as he backflipped out of the way of an incoming attack.
Landing on top of a nearby car, Randy faced down his enemies. A fish man covered in black sludge, a hulking blue skinned caveman, a man in a brown spandex suit featuring mechanical boots and a man wearing a spider themed costume featuring eight mechanical arms.
The spider themed villain cackled as he approached "I am Spydah" using his mechanical arms he gestured to his companions "Allow me to introduce Cave Guy, Gill and Kangaroo Kommando. Together we are the Frightful Four!" he announced with a flourish.
"Snrk" Randy struggled to hold back a laugh before giving in, doubling over with laughter "Fr-Frightful Four? Haha More like a Legion of Losers"
Snarling Spydah brought the top two legs of his suit forward, aiming their weapons at him "You think you can mock us you ninja wanna be?" he screamed, opening fire.
"Oh boy!" Randy scrambled away, staying just ahead of the attack.
Spydah gestured forward "Well don't just stand there. Get him!"
"Oh very well" said the surprising erudite Cave Guy "I supposed that bounty won't collect itself"
Leaping into the air Cave Guy attempted to crush the Ninja with a double fisted slam. Seeing the rapidly growing shadow Randy leapt up to meet him, grabbing onto his shoulders and flipping over his head leaving the confused villain to crash into the now empty spot. Landing Randy turned to attack his exposed back only to be sideswiped by a kick from Kangaroo Kommando.
"Okay lucky shot, but how do you like this? Ninja rings!" he cried sending six shuriken at the marsupial themed villain.
Activating his jump boots, the Kommando leapt up avoiding the rings but almost causing them to strike Gill instead. With a distorted scream Gill threw himself down allowing the rings to strike the wall behind him. Clambering to his feet he inhaled before letting loose a stream of acidic sludge.
"Ninja scarf dodge" using his scarf to pull himself up onto a nearby lamppost, Randy watched as the sludge hit a nearby vehicle. The faint cry of "My car!" coming from the direction of the school.
"Oh that is just schnasty!" he said gagging under the mask.
Using this distraction Cave Guy grabbed the base of the lamppost and began to rip it out of the ground. Flailing his arms Randy found himself tumbling towards the floor where both Spydah and Kommando were waiting. Reaching into his belt Randy then threw the weapons at his targets.
"Ninja bee balls!"
As the balls struck the floor they unleashed a swarm of bees that attacked the two hapless villains. Landing in front of them he grabbed Spydah by one of his mechanical arms before launching him at Cave Guy. Not letting Komando recover, Randy delivered a spinning kick and sent him into Gill, before landing and striking a pose for the cheering crowd.
"Thank you! Thank you! You're too kind" he said while waving.
As the villains picked themselves up Randy reached back before drawing his katana, holding it at the ready he gave a mocking 'bring it' gesture, causing them to rush forward.
Before they could clash a loud explosion echoed from the city catching everyone's attention. Smoke rose from Mcfist industries several smaller explosions and sounds of panic could also be heard as a large cloud spread out from the building.
"Spydah what's happening? What's with that cloud?" Kommando hissed as they continued to observe the disaster.
Using the cameras built into his helmet Spydah attempted to zoom in on it. Suddenly panicking he began to back away "That's not a cloud.."
What it was soon became apparent as it got closer, revealing dozens of strange mosquitoes and manat ray like creatures swarming across the sky. The kids at the school screamed as the teachers attempted to get them inside to safety. Randy looked back and forth between the oncoming horde and the now very nervous villains.
"So I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're not with you" he joked, trying to mask hsi own panic.
"Forget this, Mcfist didn't say anything about monsters" Kommando said, activating his boots and fleeing the scene with the others not far behind.
"Wait seriously? Oh that's wonk" Randy said, staring down the rapidly approaching horde "Fine, guess I'll just take them on myself"
"Okay you shoobs, let's do this" running up the side of the school he flipped onto the roof and prepared to fight.
Suit turning red he thrust his palms forward "Ninja Tengu fire balls!"
The volley of fire tore into the swarm, blasting many into pixels before the rest took notice of the lone hero. Taking aim they return fire peppering the roof with energy bolts as Randy frantically leapt away. Stopping only to fling a few ninja rings or elemental ninja balls Randy leapt back off the roof as the swarm made to follow.
"Alright Cunningham, now would be a great time for a totally bruce plan" he whispered to himself as the swarm closed in.
Two of the manta rays dove down attempting to get a clean shot when a red scarf lashed out and snared one of their tails. Giving the scarf a quick tug Randy swung himself up and onto its back, his sword ready.
"Ninja slice!" stabbing down the manta burst into pixels as he hopped onto its partner wrapping his scarf around its body "High ho silverfish!"
Yanking the scarf right he forced the creature to turn, leading it back in the direction of Mcfirst industries. The rest of the swarm predictably followed, trying in vain to shoot him down. Deflecting a few bolts with his sword, Randy stored it back in the suit before throwing more ninja balls at the now much more huddled up swarm.
"Ninja bug zapper!" he cried as the electricity fried most of the pursuing enemies "Hah! That's right you ain't got nothing on my bruce ninja skills"
Almost in response to that the manta he was riding was suddenly blown apart but fire from below. Now free falling through the air Randy saw that the streets were being overrun with a host of other schnasty creatures. Once more using his scarf to snag a lamppost he vaulted over the nearest enemies before laning in a crouch.
"Man Viceroy really went all out today" he thought watching as the monsters rampaged through the street "Sorry boys but fun times over, cause now it's ninja o'clock!"
Throwing himself into the thick of it Randy stabbed, kicked and fireballed his way through the horde. Despite his best efforts he soon found himself being forced back on the defensive, the creature's numbers steadily increasing the closer he got to the pyramid.
"Time to even up the odds a bit" he said taking a deep breath before chanting "Times getting tight, so give me a hand. To win this fight I need warriors of sand"
At his command the street began to shake as the earth itself shifted forming four Sandjas, each armed with their own blade. Twirling his own blade Randy stepped into line with his duplicates before charging forward once more. The clones acted as moving shields to protect him from the worst of the enemy fire.
The fighting was gruelling, for every enemy he struck down another seemed to take its place. Sweat building on his brow Randy stepped back to catch his breath.
"This would be so much easier if there was a ninja flying technique" he grumbled before leaping forward he prepared to cut down another of the crab like creatures when a series of blasts struck the front ranks.
Randy watched in surprise as several fighter craft rocketed through the skies, blasting holes through the enemy ranks while teams of blue suited agents leapt from larger transport crafts, jeptpacks slowing their descent as they continued to reign fire down on their monstrous foes. As they moved to set up killzones one of the agents called out to him.
"Ninja keep pushing to Mcfist industries, we'll provide covering fire"
"I have no idea what is happening right now but. It. Is. So. Honkin'. Bruce!" he exclaimed as he darted through the gaps in the enemies lines.
Making quick progress Randy ordered two of the Sandjas to hang back and help out the agents before slicing apart the building's front doors. Once inside the lobby he found multiple robo-ape bodies scattered about, it looks like these experiments aren't too fond of Mcfist either.
Prying open the elevator he began to scale the cables until he reached the floor containing Viceroys' lab. Entering the corridor he found the doors to the lab tron open with a few monsters making their way out , heading for the hole in the wall leading out into the city. Flanked by his Sandja, Randy dashed forward striking down the unsuspecting creatures before making his way into the lab.
His sight was instantly drawn to a large circular machine glowing in the center of the room. Drawing a few ninja electro balls Randy prepared to disable the machine when a snarling black humanoid leapt from the light, unsheathing its claws.
"Oh you wanna go? Well let's go you smokey shoob" Randy called as his Sandjas rushed forward.
In a flash the Sandjas were cut down, their bodies slowly reforming as the beast launched itself at Randy. Drawing his sai Randy met the attack head on, blades clashing against claws. After a few passes and near misses Randy quickly realised that this creature was far more dangerous than the ones he fought in the city.
Watching its wrist with his sai he twisted and flung it over his shoulder, landing on all fours it quickly scrambled back towards him. Throwing his sai as distraction Randy readied more ninja balls.
"Ninja cold balls!" as they landed the floor in front of the beast became coated in ice sending it skidding helpless along the ground. Taking the opportunity Randy snagged its arm with his scarf and started to spin it around.
"Ninja monster throw!" he cried as it sailed through the air before impacting heavily against the machine.
With a defiant roar the beast got to its feet and prepared to charge again only to find its arms restrained by the two reformed Sandjas. Taking his shot Randy drew his sword brought it down, taking its head clean off its shoulders. As it dissolved into black mist the machine began to glow again.
"Oh no you don't. Ninja electro ball!"
With a bright flash and loud crackle the machine flickered and died, smoke pouring from its body. Letting out a sigh of relief Randy fell back onto his butt, sending his Sandjas to go search the rest of the building while he caught his breath.
"Okay, i think ninja o'clock is over now" he wheezed, the exhaustion of the fights finally catching up to him.
"I'm afraid this isn't over yet" a voice called from behind him.
Yelping in surprise, Randy shot to his feet to find several blue suited agents entering the room.
"Uh I don't know it looks pretty over" he said gesturing towards the now wrecked machine.
"This attack is far more widespread than you know. The Director would like to ask for your help containing it"
"Who's the Director?"
