An interview with Lord Qordis, Dark Lord and Headmaster of the
sith academy on Korriban for the Brotherhood of Darkness.

(Approx. 1075 - 1000 BBY)

INTERVIEWER - Lord Qordis, thank you for granting me an interview.
I have some questions, if you don't mind.

LORD QORDIS - (Sighs) Why does Lord Kaan keep sending me these fools?
Ask whatever you wish, fool.

INTERVIEWER - Thank you, my lord. At your academy, your instructors never
teach about the glorious history of the sith. Tulak Horde, Marka Ragnos, and
Emperor Vitiate were all men of great power. Their legendary achievements
should inspire sith everywhere. Why don't you teach about these legends?

LORD QORDIS - You've been talking to our Apprentice Bane, haven't you?
The kid doesn't understand that each of these dark lords, while powerful,
was a complete failure. None of them succeeded in destroying the jedi.
Therefore, they are not worthy of respect.

INTERVIEWER - And yet each one of these men had some success against
the jedi. Darth Malgus, considered by many to be the greatest sith warrior in
history, once destroyed the jedi temple on Coruscant, leaving it in ruins. Both
Naga Sadow and Darth Revan came within a hair's breadth of destroying the
Republic.

LORD QORDIS - And yet they couldn't finish the job. That's what makes them
all failures. A waste of the dark side.

INTERVIEWER - Then why keep the old texts, scrolls, and other items within the
archives & library section in the basement of the academy?

LORD QORDIS - How do you know about our archives?

INTERVIEWER - That's where I conducted my interview with Lord Kaan.
Fairly big room, with lots of shelves. Many books.

LORD QORDIS - Very well. While we do not like to emulate the sith failures
of the past, we still wish to preserve the past. It is, after all, our legacy. After
Lord Kaan established the Brotherhood of Darkness, he transferred much of
the archives of the old sith empire to the academy. A waste of time, if you ask me.

INTERVIEWER - I noticed that you like to surround yourself with valuable jewelry,
expensive tapestries, and other treasures. Why?

LORD QORDIS - I enjoy the high life. Plus, it makes people jealous of me.
Just last week, I caught Githany admiring one of my rings.

INTERVIEWER - Do you mind if I ask some personal questions?
Do you enjoy any favorite foods?

LORD QORDIS - Baked beans. It doesn't matter what type of bean. And ice wine.
I have a few bottles of 135 year old ice wine from Hoth. I am saving them for when
we beat the jedi.

INTERVIEWER - Do you like to travel the galaxy?

LORD QORDIS - Only to the casinos on Cantonica. I win big every time.

INTERVIEWER - Do you have a pet peeve? Is there something that you truly hate?

LORD QORDIS - Those ugly, green floating balls on Ruusan.

INTERVIEWER - Do you mean the native species called bouncers?
Why would you hate them? They're harmless.

LORD QORDIS - They're also annoying. They are everywhere. Whenever
I join Lord Kaan on Ruusan, the damn creatures never leave me alone.
They are slowly driving me insane.

INTERVIEWER - Short trip. Do you have a favorite color?

LORD QORDIS - Any color BUT green.

INTERVIEWER - Do you have any plans for the future?

LORD QORDIS - Do you mean after we eliminate the jedi? Rule the Republic,
of course. Then perhaps travel to Korriban. Maybe make my home in one of the
famed tombs in the Valley of the Dark Lords.

INTERVIEWER - How does the headmaster of the academy relax?

LORD QORDIS - I like to hunt for new treasures. I want to be as rich as possible.

INTERVIEWER - Thank you, Lord Qordis, for your time.
