AN: Merry Christmas! Well, early Christmas lol. I'm hoping to have another Christmasy chapter up this week, but we'll see how it goes. For now, enjoy!
After their blissful night Rory and Logan ended up spending two more days in the dorm before the roads were safe again and they could make it to the Dragonfly. They then spent 3 days at the Inn wearing, in fact, nothing but the sheets and whipped cream, with the exception of Thursday night when they ate Thanksgiving dinner downstairs. On their last day Rory managed to drag Logan out of their room to explore the town. They ate at Luke's again, sitting at the counter this time to talk to Luke. Logan got along with him surprisingly well and had a lot of fun swapping Rory stories.
Sunday night was bittersweet as neither of them could really bare to separate after the long and emotional week they had spent together. Fortunately Logan was able to come to Hartford Thursday night, much like he had done weeks before. He found this was best for both of them since his Friday class was boring and didn't really require his attendance, and making sure Rory wasn't alone when her parents came home fighting was more of a priority. It wasn't until Friday night when they hit a snag in their plan, Mitchum was forcing Logan to join him for a business dinner. Rory made the trip to New Haven anyway since Logan wasn't sure how long it would last. He would have much rather had her next to him all night but didn't want to subject her to the boring as hell conversation.
It ended up being a good thing that she hadn't come with him because Mitchum took the opportunity, in the middle of dinner, to boast about how close Logan was with the Andrews daughter. Logan would have loved a picture of his father's face when instead of going along with it, he chose a route of his own.
"Really? The Andrews?" Mr. McConnell asked him.
"Yes, we spend quite a bit of time together in our friend group, she and my girlfriend get along well," Logan said, sipping on his scotch. That's about when Mitchum made the face, the one that made him look like the Hulk mid transformation. Of course Logan knew this was bullshit, but it did open up the line of questioning about who he was dating, and he loved any excuse to talk about Rory.
"Girlfriend Huntz? Good for you," Michael said, raising his glass to him briefly and taking a sip of it. The guy was a prick and Logan only put up with him because he was Mr. Randolph's son, anything for the business right. Well almost anything.
"Yeah, she's really something too," Logan said, a wistful smile overtaking his features.
"I know that look," Mr. Carmichael laughed, or coughed, you could never quite tell with the man, but 30 plus years of smoking will do that to you. "You deserve that, you work him too hard Mitch."
"See dad, it's not just me?" Logan joked, gaining a chuckle from everyone except, well you guessed it.
So, now he was pissed as hell at his father and he was close to blowing up at him outside the restaurant but decided against it. His words would fall on deaf ears anyway, and his time was better served with Rory. His dad was a jackass, there was no sugar coating it. And no matter how many times Logan tried to make him proud or tried to make him care, it just wasn't enough. He would never be enough for his dad.
By the time he made it back to Yale it was nearly 11 and he considered simply going to the pub but decided to change first. Low and behold that had been the right choice because his friends were all sitting in his living room.
"Hey guys," Logan sighed, walking into the dorm. He dropped his keys on the table by the door and shrugged his coat off to hang it up. Everyone was here; Elle, Juliet, Steph, Robert, Finn, and Colin. Everyone except the one person he needed right now. She couldn't be at Elle's dorm so where the hell was she?
"Hey man," Finn said, walking from the kitchen to the couch.
"Where's Rory?" was the first thing he asked, making his way to the counter and leaning against it.
"Well somebody," Steph said, glaring at Juliet. "Spilled vodka tonic on your girlfriend, so she's in the shower."
"It was an accident," Juliet defended. Steph just rolled her eyes and gave Logan a look. He knew that was bull shit and he wasn't in any mood to deal with it. Juliet needed to check herself before she did something no one in this room would forgive her for.
"Yeah right," Logan scoffed.
"It was," she shrugged.
"Bullshit," Logan barked. This bitch was the root of quite a few of his problems right now and he wasn't going to have her bothering Rory too.
"Just have drink man," Finn said. "You seem stressed."
"I am stressed, but I don't want a drink," he said, running his hand through his hair.
"You sure? There's nothing a nice scotch can't fix," Finn said, waving his glass.
"There are some things Finn," Logan sighed.
"Dude are you ok?" Colin asked.
"No, I'm not ok," he said, walking to the fridge for a bottle of water.
"So, have a drink," Robert said. "Relax a little."
"I don't want a drink!" Logan snapped. "I want Rory, so I am going to stand here and wait for Rory."
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Juliet asked.
"It's none of your business," he said. "It's nobody's business until I see Rory."
"What happened? Did you cheat on her or something?" Finn asked.
"That's what you jumped to?!" Logan asked, glaring at him.
"I don't know, you're acting weird and you're really insistent on seeing Rory before you say anything. What should I think?" Finn asked, standing up.
"You should mind your own damn business," Logan said.
"Finn come on, whatever it is he doesn't want to talk about it," Steph said. Before Finn could say anything, the bathroom door opened, and Rory stepped out, towel in hand as she dried her hair. She had donned Logan's Yale sweatshirt and his boxers.
"Hey, you're back," she said, laying the towel on the bathroom counter, her hair already air drying in waves, and shutting off the light.
"Hey," he sighed. She took a good look at him as she walked closer; his hair was a mess, his shoulders were drooping, even his shirt looked wrinkled and he had completely removed his tie. She knew he hadn't been looking forward to dinner with his dad when he left her, but this was extreme.
"What's wrong honey?" she asked when she made it to the kitchen.
"That's what we're trying to figure out," Finn said, rolling his eyes.
"She didn't ask you," Logan said.
"Just catching her up!" he said, raising his hands in defense.
"Finn stop," Steph said. "He's upset about something and you need to lay off. He wants his girlfriend what's wrong with that?"
"He's hiding something! I mean he doesn't even want a drink," Finn said.
"No, I don't want a drink! What is it with it you and trying to get me drunk? I don't need that," Logan said.
"What the hell happened?" Finn yelled.
"Finn knock it off and mind your own damn business until you sober the fuck up," Rory snapped, before turning to Logan and opening her arms. "Come here."
He took a deep breath and stepped into her embrace, burying his head in her hair and holding tight to her waist. She rubbed his back and combed her fingers through his hair, feeling his muscles relax almost immediately under her touch.
"God I missed you," he chuckled.
"I missed you too honey," she whispered, kissing his cheek. "Bad day I take it?"
"The worst," he said. "My father is a jack ass."
"Tell me something we don't know," she giggled, pressing another kiss to his neck. This woman, he thought, one minute with her and his entire night was replaced by something entirely better. When he looked back on tonight he most likely wouldn't remember what the hell his father had done, he would only know how Rory made him feel as soon as she held him. He would remember that adorable laugh and those sweet kisses and the very first time he knew he really needed her.
"Well, you might know this, but I really needed you today," he said. "Actually I always need you, but you get the point."
"I actually didn't know that," she said. "You might know this, but I love you so much. And if you ever need me like you did tonight, you call me, and I'll be there before you can hang up the phone."
"You are something special you know that?"
"That I did know," she said.
"And funny too sweet girl," he joked, tickling her sides until she broke down in giggles and practically fell against him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and laughed into his shoulder. He lifted her up and twirled her, which was probably a little dramatic for the moment, but he was just so happy to have her in his arms.
"You sure it was a bad night?" she asked him.
"Wasis the key word there, honey, you have no idea how much 5 minutes with you can do for me," he said.
"I'm starting to realize," she said. "But we do have a little bit of an audience." She glanced up from Logan's shoulder to find 6 pairs of eyes staring at them, some attempting to be more discrete than others. Juliet and Robert were straight up glaring at them, Steph and Colin were glancing up every now and then but not looking for long, and Elle and Finn looked a little shocked to be honest.
"Eh, fuck them," he said.
"That's the spirit," she laughed.
"I just want to take you back to our bedroom and make love to you until sun up," he said.
"Well, you sure as hell won't hear me complaining," she said, nipping his ear lobe.
"Yeah I figured as much," he teased her.
"What are you waiting for stud?" she asked, kissing him full on the lips and wrapping her legs around his hips.
"Yeah, yeah make fun all you want, you'll regret that in a few minutes," he said, starting on his way to the bedroom.
"I highly doubt that," she assured him, capturing his lips again as he walked past their friends and straight to their room where they barely even made it to the bed.
"Come on, I'm sure they're still asleep."
Rory's eyes fluttered open, officially waking up at the sound of footsteps and voices outside the door. She closed them again and snuggled deeper into Logan's naked chest, determined to block out whatever their friends had going on out there.
"How the hell did you even get in here?"
"I have my ways."
"Fine, I don't even want to know."
"Alright now what?"
"I don't know, this was your idea."
"Well I like him, you like her, we can work with this."
Well there goes determination. "Logan," she whispered, running her hand over his chest. He twitched in his sleep, tightening his hold on her. "Honey, wake up," she tried again, this time getting his eyes fluttered but still remained closed.
She stifled a laugh at how cute he was in the morning and then leaned down to kiss him. It was only a few seconds before he responded and even in his dazed state tried to take control. She grinned into the kiss and cupped his face, running her thumb against his morning stubble.
"Good morning," she whispered.
"Goodmorning indeed," he said.
"Mm," she hummed, kissing him again. "You are so sexy in the morning."
"Oh yeah?" he asked with a smirk.
"Absolutely," she said, running her fingers through his tousled hair which was somewhere in between bed head and sex hair. "My handsome man." She leaned in for one more kiss, then trailed her lips down and across his jawline. "Your stubble and your sleepy, husky voice."
"I love you so much sweet girl," he said, bringing his lips to hers and wrapping her up snugly in the comforter with him.
"And I love you," she said, nuzzling his neck. "But, my dear, it seems we have a little problem."
"Do we?" he asked, running his fingers delicately over her shoulder and down the curve of her hips and back.
"We have some unwanted guests outside our door," she whispered.
"Wait what?" he asked, his hand stopping in its tracks.
"Well as far as I can tell, it's Robert and Juliet, and they are standing out there plotting," she said.
"Plotting? What do you mean?"
"Listen for yourself," she shrugged, snuggling up to him.
It was almost a minute before they said anything but then they heard footsteps getting closer to their door.
"That bitch stole him from me," Juliet said.
"Well that bastard stole her from me," Robert said.
"I've been after him for years, and then she just waltzes in here with her ridiculous innocent act," she said.
"Well, she's wrong there, you weren't so innocent last night," Logan teased her.
"Hush you," she said, smiling as he entwined their hands and placed open mouthed kisses on her knuckles and wrist.
"I don't even hear anything, this is stupid," Robert said.
"Well we just have to wait. There's no way they're as perfect as they seem. He has to just be using her for sex," Juliet said.
"You know she's a lot more than just a hot chick, she's really funny and smart," Robert said. "Logan on the other hand, now she's the one using him for sex. I mean she doesn't seem like the type to do that but why else would she be with him?"
"He's gorgeous and rich, now shut up so I can listen," Juliet said.
"Listen to what? They're asleep," Robert said.
"What the hell are they hoping to hear?" Logan asked.
"Apparently evidence of our sham of a relationship," Rory said.
"Well, why don't we give them something to listen to babe?" he suggested, rolling her underneath himself and starting a trail of kisses at her collarbone.
"What did you have in mind Mr. Huntzberger?" she asked coyly.
"Do I need to spell it out for you?" he chuckled.
"Maybe…," she said.
"Careful what you wish for darling," he told her. He wasted no time in making his way south and nearly ripping her panties off. She started giggling, which wasn't exactly the sound he had had in mind, but damn it if he didn't love her laugh. His lips went straight to her core, kissing her down there just as intensely as he had kissed her lips earlier.
Her laughs turned to moans as she writhed beneath him, only for the giggles to start again when she realized Logan was indeed spelling out the letters F-U-C-K with his tongue. "Logan," she squealed, running her hands through his hair and holding him in place.
He glanced up at her to see his girl with a wicked glint in her eye and before he could say or do anything she pulled him up for a real kiss and then flipped them over to straddle his hips. She hurriedly reached for a condom out of his bedside drawer, slid it down onto him, and then immediately slid herself down on his throbbing, rock hard cock.
He groaned out, "Fuck," as she sat there a minute adjusting. He couldn't believe how wet she already was, even more so than a few second ago when his mouth was on her. "You really do think I'm sexy in the morning, don't you?" He reached up to her hips and started to move her.
She slowly lifted herself up and almost completely off him before she slammed back down and answered him, leaning forward seductively purring, in his ear. "Incredibly sexy, now shut up and fuck me. I want them to hear me scream your name when you make me come. She then pulled back enough to let him look into her sparkling blue eyes.
Caressing her face, he brought her close in order to kiss her deeply before she pulled away again and arched her back, grinding against his pelvis. "Oh god yes!" she moaned.
She pounded down on him, her arms behind her, hands resting on his thighs. The view of her as she enveloped his cock every time she slammed down onto him was intoxicating and almost too much for him to handle. "Shit baby, you're going to make this quick," he growled, reaching up with one hand to toy with her nipple, while the other hand massaged her clit.
"Oh, fuck, Logan. That's it, right there!" She continued at a punishing pace, pulling grunts and groans from the both of them as they continued to fuck like never before.
"Rory. Ace, I need you to come, baby. I'm close, I need you to come with me," he told her, to which she simply nodded and reached with one hand to the nipple he wasn't pinching between his fingers. A sight enough to send him over the edge.
He sat up so that they were nose to nose. Rory wrapped both arms around him, never slowing her pace. He kissed her tenderly, in complete opposite of the frenzied state of their hips. When she needed a moment to breathe, she threw her head back with a moan. He thrusted one hand in her hair, holding her head to the side so that he could attack her neck; determined to mark her for the day.
He continued flicking her clit, while kissing and nipping at her neck, at the juncture where it meets her shoulder. "Yes, Logan, don't stop. Please don't stop," she practically begged him, her moans growing louder, and he knew it wasn't just a show for those outside their door. She was always this responsive, ever since the first night they spent in this bed together.
Pulling back from her neck, he admired his handiwork for a moment, then felt her clench around him. "Look at me Rory," he told her, needing to see the look in her eyes when she came.
"Logan," she panted. His name dancing across his skin when it's whispered from her lips. Rory slowed her pace, moving in more of a rocking motion. And that's about when it happened, neither one of them had ever felt anything this intense. Pressing her forehead to his, she whispered his name over and over again.
Grasping her hips, he rocked her back and then onto him harder once, twice, and by the third time she squeezed around him and came undone. A thin sheen of sweat covered her skin and he stared into her eyes, two more thrusts and he came undone with her. "Fuck! Fuck, I love you Ace!" This had to have been the most intense orgasm of his life. What has this woman done to me?
He pressed a kiss to her red swollen lips, taking his time, pouring every ounce of what he's feeling at that moment into it. She goes to pull off him, but he holds her in place and lays them down to catch their breath.
Her legs wrapped around him and she buried her head in his chest, unable and unwilling to shake the intense wave of love she felt for this man, and how loved she felt in return.
"What do you think they're talking about now?" Rory laughed.
"Hopefully they've back off, but I bet they're talking about what a screamer my girl is in bed," he laughed with her.
"Hey," she admonished with a smile. "Mr. sex fiend, you encourage it."
"Of course I do, I love it," he said.
"Wait, wait, listen," Rory whispered.
"What the fuck was that?" Juliet asked.
"Did he say love? I thought you said this was just sex?"
"I was sure it was. This is worse than I thought."
"Well their both going on that damn ski trip, we'll figure it out then," Robert said.
"Yeah well, I had that deal with Elle and she backed out because Mr. Perfect scared her," Juliet said.
"Trust me I'm not backing out," Robert said.
"Good, well their both up, let's go into the living room and wait for them," Juliet said.
"Yeah fine."
"What the hell is wrong with them?" Logan asked, rolling them over and pulling out of her so they could lay facing each other, her limbs still wrapped around him.
"What did she mean when she said you scared Elle?" Rory asked in return, the cute little 'v' forming on her forehead as she scrunched it in confusion.
"I, um," he sighed, combing her hair back. "Well, sweetheart, the day we told Elle about our relationship, and we ordered in for dinner…?"
"Yeah, I remember," she said.
"I picked up the phone, and Elle was talking to Juliet. They were going on and on about how they were going to break us up and how much of a mistake I had made, it pissed me the hell off."
"I can imagine," she said, biting her lip.
"So, the next day after we came from Stars Hollow, I talked to Elle and told that under no circumstances was she going to hurt you like this. I really didn't mean to scare her, I just told her how much you meant to me, even at that point and we had only been dating about a week. But either way, I got through to her and I think she's been handling this better than Juliet at least."
"Why didn't you tell me?" she asked.
"I didn't want to hurt you, and I didn't want to worry you either," he explained. "I know I should have told you and maybe I would have in time or if Elle hadn't listened to me, but the situation seemed to have fizzled."
"I get that," she said. "I still wish you had told me, but I do get that."
"I love you so much Ace, I didn't want to tell you anything like that," he said, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I promise I'm not hiding anything else."
"Good," she chuckled. "And I love you too sweetheart."
"What do you say we get some more sleep?" he suggested.
"I am kind of tired," she yawned.
"You just get comfy sweet girl, I'll be here," he said.
"Mm, I know you will," she said softly, sliding her leg across his body and laying on his chest as he laid on his back. He combed his fingers through her hair, twirling the curly strands that had stuck to her sweat sheened back. Her breathing soon evened out as she fell into a deep sleep, cuddled safely in his arms.
"I'll always be here," he whispered.
