To help you guys out, there are a total of 4 Kingdom Hearts characters who will soon land in the DxD world. They'll make their appearance by the end of the first arc, and things should be more interesting going into the next one. Yes, I need them that soon for reasons I'm not going to spoil. 2 of them are Kairi and Aqua, as I have said last chapter, but who'll fill the two other spots?

"Peerage?" Sora looked confused for a few moments before he slowly understood what she meant. "You mean, like a team? A party?! You want me to join your party?!" he asked excitedly, knowing full well what it was like when he was adventuring with friends.

"You could say that." Rias said with an eye-smile, finding Sora's answer to be quite amusing. It was completely different from what she expected.

"Sign me up! I want to join! Let's take out all of the Heartless together, guys!" Sora grinned widely, planting his hands on his hips in a victorious pose. Well now, he wasn't alone in this world. He had just gained some new friends a few hours after he stumbled upon this place, and now he found himself in a new party. Sure, not having Donald and Goofy around felt a bit weird, but he was sure that he would get used to new faces.

At this point, Rias couldn't hold in her chuckles as she gave in to her laughter, which was the same case for Akeno and Kiba. Sora was truly one of a kind, completely different from any other human they know. Rias had just offered him to be a part of her peerage, and the boy accepted without even hesitating, as if it was the best decision he ever made. Even Koneko, the normally stoic and emotionless mascot, couldn't stop herself from smiling at Sora's upbeat nature.

"That's a quick answer if I ever saw one. Honestly, it's the quickest answer I've ever seen from a human, Sora. While I would jump at the opportunity to recruit you now, I want you to hear me out first. This is very important since this is the reason why I was about to erase, or rather alter, your memories earlier." Rias explained with a caring smile, causing Sora to be silent in place.

"Uhm… sure. What is it, Rias?" he asked, all eyes and ears for whatever the crimson-haired beauty wanted to tell him. The moment she mentioned the part about erasing his memories, it made Sora freeze for a moment before realizing that this was a very serious matter.

"Do you remember when I asked you about the supernatural?"

"Uh-huh. Are we going hunt down ghosts too? It's a bit weird, but I'm not afraid!" Sora nodded his head, before grinning to hide his own nervousness about facing off with ghosts.

"Silly boy. I wish I could just listen to you all day, but we have business to attend to." Rias shook her head before adopting a more serious tone. "The supernatural is more than just ghosts in this world, Sora. I haven't been totally honest with you as well, and it's only fair that you know our secret before anything else."

"Your secret? What do you mean?" Sora tilted his head in confusion.

With a snap of her fingers, jet-black wings came out of Rias' back, which didn't even shred through her uniform as though they were a part of her. Sora's eyes widened at seeing this, going as far as to rub his eyes to see if he was dreaming. But no, he was clearly seeing Rias Gremory having wings on her back. The same thing happened with Akeno, Yuuto, and Koneko (who stood up from her seat) as all of their wings stretched out for a bit so that Sora would be able to see them clearly.

"W-W-What's this? Why do you all have wings?" Sora asked, clearly intrigued. Were they some kind of dragons who can turn into humans? Or maybe those were accessories that they were wearing so they could fly? So many possibilities were flying in Sora's mind that he had to shake his head in order to regain his focus.

"I don't know if you have encountered beings like us from where you came from, but the truth of the matter is that we are devils, Sora." Rias explained, clasping her hands together in front of her. "The supernatural doesn't involve only ghosts and other forms of paranormal activity. In our world, supernatural beings like devils, angels, fallen angels, yokai, and other mythological creatures exist."

Sora could only look at her shock after hearing her words, and all Rias could do was offer him a reassuring smile. She expected this from him, but she had faith that he could take all of this new information in eventually. After all, he must be already used to scenarios like this considering all the adventures he has been through.

"I'm sure this is a lot to take in, Sora. But you'll get used to it. We're willing to give you time to come to grips with this revelation, just say the word—"

"Nope. Please continue." Sora smiled calmly as he got over his shock and was now more than eager to learn more. If Rias and his new friends were 'devils', like what she said, then they must be stronger than what they seem. There was a reason why that red-haired girl asked him to join her team, and maybe this was it.

"W-Well, that was quick." Rias blinked in surprise. She expected him to at least take a few minutes of internalizing before finally proceeding, but no, it didn't even take him a few seconds and Sora was already comfortable with learning their secret. "Is it because you have seen devils before? You don't seem like you're scared of us either."

"Hmm… I think I have." Sora pondered over her question for a moment before a sudden memory went to his head, particularly an event from his first adventure as well as during the Mark of Mastery Exam. "I remember fighting against a giant monster called… 'Chernabog', was it? He wasn't a Heartless even though I thought of him as one at first, but I think he looked like a devil? You guys have nearly the same wings as him."

At the same time, Koneko held up Sora's Gummiphone and showed everyone else a journal entry about Chernabog as well as a picture of him. Rias hummed in thought, understanding why Sora thought of him as a devil. The yellow eyes, monstrous size, bat-like wings, and the horns were a dead giveaway. Chernabog also looked quite similar to the original Lucifer.

"And because you have defeated this monster, you are not scared of devils at all?" Rias asked, turning her attention back towards Sora.

"Honestly, that guy scared me when I first met him." Sora frowned, crossing his arms. "He still gives me the creeps every now and then, but it's nothing I can't handle!"

"Does this mean you are still scared of us?" Akeno asked, stepping forward. She had a warm smile on her face, which was completely different from the slightly intimidating one that she showed Sora earlier. "There is no need to be afraid, Sora-kun. We won't dream of hurting you. Well, maybe Rias did when she saw you for the first time, fufufufu." she continued, chuckling at the tick mark that appeared on her friend's head.

"Akeno…" Rias growled out, trying to suppress her anger. That was such an embarrassing moment for her and she didn't want to remind herself of it. She was trying to make a good image of herself in front of Sora and Akeno just had to bring that up.

"Oh, not you guys! You're fine with me!" Sora grinned, which surprised both Rias and Akeno as they looked at the spiky brunette with eyes filled with wonder and amazement. It was almost impossible that there could be a boy this cheerful and upbeat, but Sora made it look like it was a piece of cake. "You don't look like monsters at all, and those wings on your backs actually look cool. They remind me of how I look like when I visit Halloween Town back home. Wait, now that I think about it, my costume actually made me look like whenever I went there!"

Rias stared at Sora for the next few moments, before she shook her head and blushed. "I can't let myself be hypnotized by how cute and cheerful he is! Think about that later, Rias!" she thought, realizing that she was staring at his face for too long and caused her to clear her throat to recompose herself. Akeno saw this and shook her head in amusement, as it was fun to see their President acting like a normal girl for once.

"G-Going back to the point, you can say that we are the equivalent of the Heartless in your home world, Sora. We devils are generally seen as evil beings who only want destruction and suffering." Rias explained, mentally slapping herself to dispel any further thoughts of Sora. She needed to have a calm mind at a time like this, after all.

"That's not fair for you guys! You don't look like bad people to me." Sora snapped, his hero instincts flaring up at the mere mention of his new friends being misunderstood by people all because they were different.

"If you had let me finish my words, I was about to say that that was just a popular urban legend made up by humans. We devils don't seek any of those two things, at least not most of us." Rias sweat-dropped but smiled nonetheless, while Akeno and Kiba let out a small chuckle.

"Oh, my bad." Sora grinned sheepishly, before putting his arms behind his head again in a laid-back manner. "So if that's the case, what do you guys do?"

"We normally do two out of three things. One of them is to complete contracts with normal humans. It works when a human summons one of us to do one task before we are given something of equal price in return. The second one is to hunt down stray devils within my territory, in order to prevent impending tragedies from unfolding."

Sora raised an eyebrow. "Your territory? Was that why you were angry with me earlier? Because… I dealt with the Heartless before you did, when it was supposed to be your job to watch over this place?"

Rias blushed at being reminded of that once again; Akeno's laughter rang across the room at her friend's embarrassment, while Kiba had a nervous smile on his face. The redhead could only be thankful that Sora already forgave her for it, or she would never be able to live this down because of her damaged pride.

"Y-Yes, that's right. This town was put under my protection, and it's my job to take care of those that threaten the people here. Some time earlier, I detected the appearance of multiple unknown beings in the suburbs and we decided to take a look into it ourselves. And that's where we met you, who was already doing what we were supposed to do. After reading through your journal entries, that's where I decided to recruit you into my peerage instead, so that we can work together in dealing with them."

"Then you're like the local heroes around here! You fight the bad guys and keep this whole place safe from them!" Sora then thought of the Big Hero 6 in San Fransokyo, whom he briefly teamed up with along with Donald and Goofy to battle the darkness in that world. That was one of the few times when he was truly considered a hero.

The devils chuckled at the childish and yet honest comparison from the spiky-haired teenager. Even Koneko laughed, although it was more to herself so that no one would hear.

What about the third one? You said that there were three things that devils do, right?"

Rias blinked a few times before she chuckled. She completely forgot about that for a moment. "Oh yes, that's right. It doesn't happen that often, but another thing that devils do is participate in Rating games. Rating games are official battles between two peerages which is a way to rise through the ranks of the Underworld, the home of devils."

"Oh, so it's like the tournaments that I used to enter back in Olympus! Those tournaments were always fun to fight in!" Sora exclaimed with a big smile, remembering the various 'Cups' that took place in the Coliseum during his first and second adventures. "I'm so excited! I can't wait to fight in a Rating game!"

"You seem happy with what you've learned so far," Rias smirked while crossing her arms under her bust. "But shouldn't you be worried as well, Sora? While I am eager to add you as a powerful piece, it shouldn't be an easy decision for you to make."

"What do you mean?"

"In order to become a part of my peerage, I would have to turn you into a devil like us."

The boy's eyes widened upon hearing what Rias said. A memory being turned into a Heartless quickly flashed in his mind, but Sora quickly shook it off. That was the consequence of his own action, and this was different from that moment, although it was still similar in some ways.

"Turn me… into a devil? Can you even do that?"

"That depends on your answer." Rias' smirk widened as she hid a tuft of her crimson hair behind her ear. "But now you're starting to see that this is no decision to be taken lightly. I want you to join my peerage, but I wouldn't turn you into a devil if you're not willing to become one. If you become a devil, you'll naturally become stronger than your current state, but you won't be a human anymore. To make you feel more at ease, Yuuto was a human at first before I turned him into a devil." The blonde-haired teen gave a nod of confirmation in response to Rias' words.

Actually, that was a bit of a lie on her part there. At first, she was prepared to do anything just to have Sora as one of her servants but after seeing how innocent and upbeat the boy was, Rias couldn't bring herself to do something so desperate.

Her pride wouldn't allow her.

Meanwhile, Sora was having thoughts of his own as he took in Rias' exact words, cupping his chin as he retreated into his mind. "To join Rias' peerage, or party, or whatever… I have to turn into a devil? She doesn't seem like she's joking, and… woah, Kiba was a human before? Well, Rias isn't joking, that's for sure. What do I do? I have to fight the darkness that just showed up in this world, but I can't do that if this place is Rias' territory. That'd be disrespectful! The only way I can help is if I join her peerage, but I'll turn into a devil and I won't be a human anymore… and also… I still want to return to my home world despite all this…"

Rias noticed that Sora was in deep thought, so she snapped her fingers and made all of their devil wings disappear. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "You seem like you need some time to think about this, Sora. Take all the time you need, I understand that this is a really big—"

"I accept."

"...decision to—!" she immediately stopped in her words and snapped her eyes open. She looked towards Sora in surprise. "What did you just say?"

Sora looked at Rias in return, flashing his signature grin. "I accept! I want to be a part of your peerage, even if I have to be a devil."

Rias couldn't even form any words for a few seconds. Even her two other peerage members shared the same expression, caught off guard with another one of his quick responses. This was what, the 10th time where this young boy completely shocked her, and yet it felt as if there was more about Sora that they didn't know. She thought that Sora was just joking around earlier and finally took things seriously just now, but it seems that it was exactly like him to be nonchalant and optimistic about things like this.

"Sora, did you even think about this carefully? It's alright even if you don't give me an answer right away," she said in a worried tone.

"I did." Sora placed his arms behind his head and looked up as he began to explain. "Turning into a devil seems like a big thing, but I realized it won't be much different from turning into different creatures during my adventures. I even turned into a lion cub once and I had to hold my keyblade using my teeth!"

At the same time, Rias felt a tug on the sleeve of her uniform causing her to turn her head and look towards Koneko, who was holding up the Gummiphone that had a picture of the lion cub Sora with his keyblade in his mouth. This also got the attention of Yuuto and Akeno, and well… the two girls shared the same reaction.

They felt as if their heart was being ripped out of their chests while only having one thought in mind. Their eyes were wide and their cheeks flushed deeply, mesmerized with Sora's appearance as an animal. "So… kawaii!"

"...but that's not the real reason why I accepted your offer, Rias."

Upon hearing her name, Rias turned back towards Sora and raised an eyebrow in confusion. This boy was proving he was full of surprises time and time again, wasn't he? Just when he finally gave a reason to her initial question about him thinking over his decision thoroughly, he had another and apparently, it may be even bigger than his first answer.

"What do you mean by that?"

Sora lowered his arms, before shifting his voice into a serious one. "I still want to go home… I really do. But after seeing the Heartless appear in this world earlier, I realized…" he clenched his fists before slamming his palm towards his chest. "...that I can't leave just yet. Even if those rifts appear one of these days, I'm not going back to my world, not until I find out who's behind the Heartless getting here and putting a stop to them. It may take a long time, but I'll be fine. I know it in my heart because even if they're not here with me, the bonds I made with my friends back home will keep me strong."

All of the devils in the room looked at Sora in awe and shock. The boy surprised them yet again, and this time, it was because of a different matter. They had thought he was too innocent and childish for his own good, so they weren't expecting him to act so… mature out of nowhere. It felt like he was a completely different person.

"I may be a human, but I'm also a keyblade wielder. And as a keyblade wielder, I have to protect the world from darkness. Even if I'm not from around here, I still want to help. If being a devil is the only way for me to do just that, then I accept." Sora slowly clenched his fist and flashed a grin that was full of determination. "I'll join your peerage and become a devil, then we'll all fight together!"

"Did… Did he just… become mature all of a sudden?" Rias was speechless for a few seconds, blown away by the answer that Sora gave that her mouth hung agape in shock. She eventually snapped herself out of it to prevent embarrassing herself in front of the boy as she let out a sigh. "I've already said it before, but I think I'll say it again." Rias shook her head in amusement and looked up with a warm smile on her face. This boy just keeps on surprising her at a constant rate, not that she was complaining about it. If Sora truly wanted to join her, why would she turn him down? "You are truly one of a kind, Sora. Very well, I accept you wholeheartedly into my peerage."

"Really?!" Sora looked flabbergasted for a second, before his smile broke out once again as he began to jump in his place out of joy. Looks like he was back to being his childish self. "Oh, thank you! I promise, I won't let you down!"

"That was quite the speech, Sora-kun…" Akeno said, walking towards him with an eye-smile. For some reason, Sora felt intimidated with her right now that he had no choice but to take a step back. Akeno's smile was just giving off a creepy feeling, nothing personal against her. "I look forward to seeing more from you soon, ufufufu~ But for now, as the Queen of Buchou's peerage, I welcome you with open arms, Sora."

"Queen?" His nervousness was replaced with confusion, just as Rias stepped in between Sora and Akeno with an annoyed look on her face.

"Alright, save the proper greetings for later, because I have to do the reincarnation now." she huffed, shooing Akeno away but the raven-haired girl looked unphased.

"Ara Rias, if you wanted to get closer with our new member, you should've just said so." Akeno snickered before walking away nonetheless. That was a clear chance for her to get to know her kouhai better, but no matter. There was plenty of time for that to in the coming days.

Rias narrowed her eyes at Akeno for a moment before turning back towards the boy in front of her. "More importantly, I need to know your full name, Sora. I won't be able to reincarnate you into a devil based on your first name only."

"Oh, it's Sora Ishida, but…" he turned his head away to hide the redness in his cheeks. Not that he hated his surname per se, but it was always embarrassing to have someone call him using it. It just sounded so weird compared to being called 'Sora', which he obviously preferred. "...please just call me Sora…"

Rias flashed an amused smile. "Ahh, embarrassed of your last name? There's no need to worry, I just need it for the incantation and for some important documents that I'd have to deal with later on."

"So how do we do this? Do I need to lie down and take off my clothes or something? I hope not…" he crossed his arms, before being embarrassed at the thought of being in such a state in front of everyone else. Becoming a devil seemed like it was easier said than done."F-Forget what I said…!" He hid his face behind his hands, making everyone else laugh at his antics.

"There's no need to do something like that. I just need you to close your eyes and remain calm. The reincarnation process should have no problems if you're having a clean state of mind." Rias explained, while also having hidden thoughts of her own. "Although I wouldn't mind him lying on the floor before me…" The redhead quickly shook off that thought, trying her best to avoid any further embarrassment.

"Oh… okay." Sora blinked before shrugging his shoulders and simply stood still in his place, understanding what he needed to do. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths, making himself perfectly calm in just a few seconds. He was used to this kind of thing by now, despite failing to be successful in his Mark of Mastery Exam.

"Good. Now just stand there while I do the rest, Sora." Upon saying this, Kiba and the other girls moved away from the crimson-haired girl since they knew what would happen next. With a wave of her fingers, Rias then summoned 8 pawn pieces that all levitated in a straight line in front of her. It may look like they were just regular chess pieces, but the red aura that surrounded them indicated that there was something more to this.

"I command thee, Sora Ishida, on the name of Rias Gremory!"

The pawn pieces floated towards Sora as they formed a circle in front of the boy's chest, while Rias' eyes glowed red and threw her arm out before her.

"Become my servant and roam these lands as a devil!"

Each pawn piece slowly went inside him, one by one. Sora didn't seem like he was feeling anything, despite his chest glowing red with each piece that sunk into him. He was also covered with a crimson aura that resonated with Rias' glowing eyes. Sora actually felt himself becoming stronger as the seconds passed by, but he didn't dare to interrupt Rias until she was done, as much as he wanted to feel what was it like as a devil.

"You will live a new life with great joy as a member of my peerage!"

As the eighth and last pawn piece disappeared into Sora's body, so did the aura that covered his body. Rias' eyes turned into normal as she lowered her arm and took one deep breath to regain her composure. The reincarnation was finally done, and so she cleared her throat to call out to her newest servant.

"Open your eyes now and tell me what you feel, Sora. The reincarnation is done, and you're a devil now."

Hearing her words, Sora slowly opened his eyes and looked down at his hands. He definitely felt a lot stronger than before, meaning that a devil was more powerful than normal humans. He couldn't wait to see how he would fare against the Heartless when he fights them again, but that would have to take a rain check for another time. He needed to know something more important right now, which was why he looked up at Rias with a hopeful smile.

"Am I taller than before?"

Rias chuckled at his ridiculous question but shook her head in response. "No. Being a devil doesn't alter your physical appearance, silly. You still look the same as you were."

"Aww, man… I thought I would finally grow taller, even just a bit…" Sora slumped his shoulders in defeat, as all hopes of him growing to a new height went down the drain just like that.

Akeno and Yuuto let out a small laugh at the boy's despair over his height while Rias gave him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Sora. You've got something even better now." Sora quickly snapped out of his sad state and turned to Rias with a hopeful look. "Try and make your new wings appear."

Sora looked quite surprised, since he was expecting her to tell him some kind of new ability that would give him an edge in battle, like his Flash Step and Blast Charge. He actually forgot for a moment that since he was a devil now, he also had wings like Rias and the others. "O-Ok…" he shrugged and glanced behind him to watch out for his wings when they appear. Within a few seconds later, a pair of bat-like wings shot out from his back, which was the exact same as the ones that appeared from Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko earlier. "Cool! It actually worked! I'm a real devil now!" he exclaimed, a wide grin breaking out on his face as he realized that Rias really did manage to make him like one of them.

"That you are. As the King of my peerage, I welcome you with open arms, Sora. Today begins your new life as a devil." Rias smiled, her arms outstretched and inviting the boy to come over for a hug.

Much to her complete surprise and slight embarrassment, Sora actually rushed towards her and accepted the hug happily, wrapping his arms around Rias' back. Since he was slightly shorter than her, he only reached the lining of her mouth but nonetheless, he rested his chin on her shoulder in a short but touching moment.

"Thank you, Rias! I won't let you down, I promise." For some reason, Sora felt that he was hugging Kairi for a quick second before pushing that thought away. Why was he thinking of her at a time like this? Was it just because Kairi had the same hair color as Rias that it reminded Sora of her? Or perhaps they were both kind and caring?

Whatever it was, it didn't really matter right now. He was just enjoying this hug while it lasted.

Rias blushed for a moment because she never thought that Sora would actually go for a hug without even hesitating. She thought he'd blush out of embarrassment and then she would reassure him that it was fine, but Sora surprised her yet again.

Despite this, the crimson-haired girl eventually smiled and returned the hug by wrapping her arms around Sora's back.

"I have no doubt that you will go a long way, Sora." she said in return, going as far as to pat his head in a motherly way.

Kiba smiled at the interaction between the king and her newly-recruited piece, and even the corner of Koneko's lip twitched at seeing this heartwarming moment. Akeno had a small pout, surprised that Sora wasn't even phased by embarrassment at hugging a beautiful girl like Rias. She was planning to tease him too. Maybe he was too dense for that? Anyway, she imagined herself in Rias' shoes for a few seconds before finally showing a smile of her own.

After spending the next few seconds in Rias' embrace, Sora suddenly realized something important as his eyes snapped wide open before he moved away from Rias.

"Oh my god!" Sora winced for a moment there for some reason, suffering a quick headache before he continued. "W-Where would I sleep? I have no home here and I don't have any money with me! Where would I stay while I'm here?!"

"Calm down, Sora." Rias placed a hand on his shoulder, which worked as the boy turned his head towards her, albeit still having a desperate look on his face. "Now first of all, try not to mention that G-word again, because even hearing his name brings pain to devils like what you just experienced. You know what I'm referring to, correct?"

Sora blinked a few times before realization struck him. He wasn't surprised though. After all, he was a devil now and he had to get used to this. "Oh. I-I-I guess that makes sense. Sorry about that!" he said with a sheepish grin as he rubbed the back of his head.

"You're starting to learn, Sora. Now as for where you'll stay while you're around here, I've decided that you move in with me in the apartment that I'm sharing with Koneko over here." Rias looked towards the white-haired loli, who was still busy reading the various chronicles in Sora's Gummiphone.

"Wait, you don't need to do that! I don't want to intrude! I could just find a place where I can settle down." Sora quickly exclaimed, uncomfortable with the fact that he would basically be a freeloader. He'd rather have a house of his own, no matter how small it was. Being an islander made him used to tough situations like this.

"Nope, you are definitely going to move in tonight. There's a spare room that you can use and I would rather have you settle down at a place where I can easily keep an eye on you." Rias explained to an embarrassed Sora.

"You just want him nearby so that you can smother him all you want, Rias." Akeno remarked, much to the continued annoyance of the redhead.

"Huh?" Sora asked, not quite understanding what that meant.

"What Akeno means to say is…" Rias snarled out, sending a look towards her friend that pretty much meant 'I'll deal with you later' before she turned back to the spiky brunette. "...I want you to be nearby so I can keep an eye on your actions. From what I read in your phone, you have a tendency to act before you think. I don't want to wake up in the morning and find out that the newest member of my peerage is already fighting against those Heartless and Nobodies somewhere."

Sora couldn't come up with an answer to that, knowing she was right. He couldn't even begin to count the number of times where his recklessness got him into dangerous situations throughout his journey. Still, the thought of being a freeloader bothered him. He could at least try to improve himself by being more tactful.

"But—" he was silenced when Rias put a finger on his lips.

"Not another word. I also don't want you to struggle in trying to find a settlement of your own around here, when there is already a place waiting for you. You won't be a freeloader if you don't think of yourself as one. I don't think of you like that, because I am actually delighted at having a new roommate. I'm sure Koneko won't mind too. Are we clear, Sora?" Rias said in an authoritative tone that reminded the young teenager of Aqua in a way.

"Okay…" Sora sighed in defeat and looked down on the floor. She really didn't give him any choice, did she? Well… maybe he could follow her advice and not think of himself as an intruder but as a fellow member of a household.

"I'm glad you see it my way, Sora. For now, I suggest that you take some time and get used to your new nature as a devil. The sun is still high in the sky, and we won't be going home until later on."

"Alright." Sora nodded, understanding what Rias meant. Yeah, even though he fully agreed to become a devil, the change from being a normal human into supernatural being was still something he would have to get used to. Maybe a good nap on the couch here will help him get through this.

"Also, there will be a surprise waiting for you tomorrow morning. So make sure that you wake up early, Sora." Rias asked as she turned on her heel and walked back to her desk.

"What kind of surprise?" Sora asked curiously.

Rias glanced back at him with a smirk before winking. "It's a secret."

That was the day when Sora learned that women liked to keep secrets. He could only wonder what kind of secrets did Kairi hide from him all these years, then. Heh, what could she possibly be keeping hidden from him all this time?

It was also the day that Sora made his first life-changing decision, in a literal sense.

And there we go. Sora decides to turn into a devil, putting the safety of this world first over his desire to go home. What a hero. Oh, and it looks like he'll be living in the same apartment as Rias and Koneko. Hmm, this can't good. Living with Rias is anything but good, but Sora is too oblivious to it… poor guy, doesn't know what's ahead. I have no idea if those two really together in canon, but ehh, I'll have it for this story.

Goodbye… and good night! BANG! *too sweet gesture*
