August D. Hellsing: You use only anime as reference!

Me: *writes Chapter 14 with Viser using spears instead of breast acid* Oh wow, either you didn't read or you don't know what the anime is. If I had used breast acid, it would traumatize Sora. LMAO. Piece of advice before you flame, make sure to make sense, boi. You'd look less of an idiot that way.

I told you, my readers, these kinds of people give me strength XD.

Anyway, to answer what many people have been asking me, Sora will indeed have a new version of Rage/Anti form now that he is a devil. However, it's gonna take some time before we get to that so hold your horses.

Sora ran back to the academy as fast as he could, managing to call Rias on his phone and told her to gather everyone in the clubroom. When she asked him why, the keyblade wielder only replied that he would explain once he gets there. Sora had one goal in mind, and that was to save Asia. He knew that he couldn't possibly take on a group of fallen angels, a crazy priest, and a possible army of Heartless (thanks to a guy in a hood) all by himself, so therefore, he needed help.

"How many times do I have to repeat myself, Sora? No means no. I already told you that we can't help that girl than we already have."

Not the answer Sora was hoping for, but he had a feeling she was going to say that after he explained what happened to his leader. However, at this point, he didn't really much of a choice. Asia needed to be saved before it was too late, but asking for help was much more difficult than what he had anticipated.

"Rias, please. Raynare said something about a ritual that can take away a person's Sacred Gear. You know what that means for Asia if we don't stop them, right?" Sora pleaded, knowing that time was running with every second.

"A ritual to take Asia's Twilight Healing… if that were to happen, then she won't survive." Rias said, her eyes widening at realizing that the blonde nun's life was at stake. However, she quickly reverted back to her serious expression and shook her head. "Still, I can't let you go after them. If you're killed by a fallen angel or even a priest for that matter, it means the end of you. There is no way you can come back from that. You'll lose any hope you have of returning home. Would you want that?"

Sora was taken aback with her last statement and got silenced for a few seconds, before shaking it off. Negative thoughts will only distract him from his mission and it might cause him his own demise.

"Still… we can't just leave her like that." he said, ignoring her question. "In fact, it's not just her! The Heartless are also with them! Raynare had a small horde under her command earlier, and she would've unleashed them on the people if I didn't give Asia to her. Aren't we supposed to be defending our territory against them?"

A small magic circle then appeared next to Rias' ear before she could answer, making some kind of sound similar to a phone call. From the way her eyes slowly rose, it appeared to be urgent. As soon as the circle disappeared, Rias quickly stood up from her seat. "Sorry for cutting this short, but something came up that needs my attention. I need to head out for a little bit. Akeno, you're coming with me."

While Akeno nodded obediently and prepared to leave, Sora looked confused and a bit annoyed. It felt like he was just being ignored. "Wait a minute, we're not—!" He was quickly silenced when Rias placed her finger on his lips.

"Before I leave, I need to remind you of something important." Rias spoke, her tone switching into sensei-mode. "You may be the Pawn in my peerage, but just like in chess, you can be the winning piece if you play right. Remember that you can promote into another piece if you enter an area that the King considers an enemy territory, like a church." she explained, adding emphasis to the word 'church', something that Sora caught on to. "Promoting will give you a temporary power boost, but be sure to use the right piece when you do. Just remember that a devil's greatest strength depends on their desire."

"O...kay…" Sora muttered in confusion, wondering why would Rias tell him something that he already knew.

"Yuuto, you're in charge of things while we're gone." Rias said, as she and Akeno teleported away through a red magic circle.

"Hai, Buchou!" Kiba nodded with a smile. As soon as both third-year students left the clubroom, he noticed Sora about to walk out as well. "You're still going to try and find Asia? Even if you do, you are outnumbered. you could be walking into a trap."

"I can't just sit by and do nothing while my friend is in danger. I'm going to save Asia, even if I have to go alone." Sora said, his voice becoming serious as he looked at his blonde friend. "Don't try and stop me, Kiba."

"Who said I was?" The young Knight smiled. "I'm coming with you."

"Y-You're what…?" Sora asked, his eyes widening in surprise. He was already prepared to accept the reality and head to the abandoned church alone, only to hear Yuuto saying that he was coming with him.

"Listen Sora, you're my friend. I'd be setting a bad example if I didn't lend you a hand. And Buchou did say that you can promote yourself while in enemy territory. She considers a church to be just that. That's her way of saying to go on ahead." Kiba explained, patting his fellow second-year on the shoulder.

"Oh…" Sora blinked, realizing just now that Rias was actually letting him go on this rescue mission. The keyblade wielder still looked skeptical though, because this chain of events seemed strange. "Are you sure about this? Rias might get angry with you."

"The two of us are coming with you," Yuuto said firmly. "Isn't that right, Koneko-chan?"

Sora's eyes quickly flew to his right side, where he saw the white-haired loli looking up at him with her usual bored expression. "You can't handle this on your own, senpai. We'll help you." she said with a hint of worry in her tone.

A wide grin then made its way to the keyblade wielder's face, feeling more determined than ever to save Asia now that he had some help with him. He looked at Kiba and Koneko, before he continued on his way towards the door, now followed closely by his two friends.

"Then we'd better get going!"

The sky had already gone dark by the time the three arrived to the hill in Kuoh. Sora, Yuuto, and Koneko all stood at at a considerable distance from where the abandoned church was and observed their destination. The area gave off a very foreboding atmosphere, especially during the night which made it look even creepier.

"This place looks scarier at night…" Sora lamented for a moment before shaking off his inner doubts. He already came across places worse than this. He was wearing his school uniform only that his blazer was unbuttoned and revealed the black undershirt he wore underneath. He opted to use his old clothes from his third adventure but decided against it for the reason it would make him look strange in front of others.

"From this presence alone, there is definitely fallen angek activity going on," Yuuto clarified. "It's possible that the enemy will be waiting for us, so getting through the church won't be a cakewalk. We only have one shot at this, are you two ready?"

Both Koneko and Sora nodded firmly, with the latter once again speaking up as a bright smile took over his features.

"Thanks again for coming, Kiba." he said, before he turned towards Koneko and petting her head softly. "You too, Koneko-chan. I'm sure we can save Asia from them now!" Interestingly enough, the cute first-year enjoyed the action and actually purred like a cat as a result.

"Hey, you and I are friends, right? Of course I'll help out." The blonde Knight smiled before doing a complete 180 as his expression turned into one of anger. "And besides, priests aren't my favorite things in the world. In fact, you can say that I hate them."

"Hate them?" Sora blinked. He never saw Kiba put on such an intense expression before since he always had a refreshing smile everywhere he went. Did the Knight have something against priests? The spiky boy raised an eyebrow out of intrigue. "That's strange… I've never seen Kiba look this angry before… I wonder if something—"

"Questions for later." Koneko interrupted, cutting off her senpai from his thoughts.

"Oh, right!" Sora quickly shook his head and raised his hand, summoning his keyblade. He gripped his weapon tight and took a deep breath, his mind being focused on one goal. "Let's go save Asia!"

The small group of devils quickly rushed through the broken gates of the church and made their way up the steps. "We better hurry. It's not far-fetched to say that they already know we're here!" The Knight of Gremory exclaimed, just as they reached the large doors that acted as the entrance to the church. Kiba tried pushing them open, but it wouldn't budge. "Damn it! They locked the doors on purpose to stall us."

"I got this," Sora strode to the front with his keyblade raised. He pointed his weapon towards the keyhole of the door as a small beam of light shot out from its tip. With the sound of a lock undoing itself, it signified that the doors were free to be opened.

"Amazing… I almost forgot that your keyblade can deal with kind of lock, Sora." Yuuto commented with a fond smile, earning a grin of his own from the keybearer.

"Thanks."

Koneko then stepped up and, without much effort, pushed the doors open which allowed the trio to step inside. As soon as they walked along the sanctuary, their individual attention flew towards many directions to keep on the lookout for their enemies. Sora told them beforehand that even though there were three of them, the numbers advantage will surely go towards the fallen angels.

The church itself looked like any normal one and surprisingly, everything was arranged neatly as though the place was never abandoned. There was an altar, lit candles and interior lamps and… wait. Something wasn't quite right here. The statue of Jesus on the cross had his head missing. Who would want to desecrate such a holy place?

"Now I get why this place is abandoned." Sora muttered, frowning at the atmosphere that the church had. "This church is creepy… no one would want to go here."

"Don't let your guard down, Sora." Yuuto warned, taking out a long sword and narrowing his eyes. "There's someone here. I can feel it."

"...Over there." Koneko spoke up, pointing to a pillar near the altar.

As soon as the girl finished her words, someone stepped out from said pillar and walked towards the altar, standing before the group. Sora glared heatedly at him, remembering what he did to that man in the house last night. "Yo, we meet again, shitty devil brat." Freed clapped sarcastically. "Glad you could make it! Oh, and you brought some friends with you? How delightful~!"

Kiba turned towards Sora. "Is this the priest you told us about?"

"That's him," Sora scowled.

"Here's the deal, you shitty devil brat! I pride myself on the fact that I never had to fight any devil more than once. Not a single devil escaped from me! I used to have a 100 percent perfect kill count until you came along! If there's one thing I hate, it's being mocked by maggot devils in the house of God!" Freed pulled out a sword and pistol from his back, spinning them both in his hands. "You brats made my murder boner so hard… I'm gonna kill you… and stick my sword inside of you until I make so many murder holes! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Do you ever stop talking?" Sora rolled his eyes in annoyance, already tempted to throw a full-powered Firaga spell at Freed to shut him up but held himself back for the sake of not acting reckless.

"I must say, aside from the vulgarity, I love what you've done with this place." said Kiba, his usual smile plastered on his face.

"Hahahaha, you like it? Courtesy of every fallen angel and yours truly who comes through those doors." Freed bragged, making a dramatic pose that showed he was truly proud of himself.

"What else have you done? I take it there's more than what we can see here."

"Why, of course! The altar has a staircase leading to a VIP worship center with an important party going on downstairs! We're in the process of—" At that moment, Freed's brain caught up to his mouth, a deadly serious expression replacing his twisted smile. "YOU SHITTY DEVIL! YOU TRICKED ME!" Filled with rage, Freed leapt towards Kiba with his sword drawn while Sora and Koneko moved away to dodge the priest's attack.

Kiba quickly rolled away as Freed's blade sank into the floor from the strength behind it. Not wasting anytime, the blonde teen rushed forward for a quick slash. The mad priest was forced to defend himself as both men clashed blades at one another, sparks flying out from each furious blow. They were both evenly matched and neither one was backing down.

"You're not half bad, pretty boy!" Freed sneered as he aimed his silver gun at Kiba's head. "Makes me wanna blow your brains out! KA-BOOM!" Kiba tilted his head just as the gun fired, the bullet only managing to cut a few strands of his hair. He quickly backflipped to dodge another shot and used his sword to deflect the next one. Freed laughed maniacally as he continued to shoot silver rounds at the Knight who literally ran circles around him in an attempt to catch the priest off guard. One of the bullets managed to graze Kiba on the cheek, but he didn't stop running, even using his sword to deflect several shots to prevent himself from getting hit any further. Freed's rain of bullets quickly ended when the madman was forced to dodge a wooden chair thrown towards him. "HEY! WATCH IT, YOU LITTLE BITCH!"

With the same bored look on her face, Koneko lifted another wooden chair above her head and threw it towards Freed. Kiba took advantage and forced the priest to go on the defensive with more aggressive slashes, while taking a quick glance at the keybearer who was frozen in his place at the way they fought.

"Sora, you go on ahead! We'll handle this guy!" Kiba shouted, snapping the spiky-haired boy out of his trance.

"Save the nun, senpai." Koneko added, before throwing another chair.

Regaining a serious look on his face, he quickly ran towards the altar but not before glancing at his comrades. "Okay! Be careful, you two!"

"HAHAHAHA! It'll be too late for you, shitty devil! Who said I was going to fight all of you alone?!" Freed laughed, blocking a slash from Kiba while aiming his gun at Koneko.

With those words, just before Sora could reach the altar, he was forced to stop when he saw three pairs of black wings appear in front of him. He got into his battle stance as the black wings unfurled around three individuals, revealing themselves to be fallen angels. One of them was Donhaseek, wearing the trenchcoat and fedora from the day they met. There were two others standing beside him, a young blonde girl wearing a maid outfit while a mature-looking woman who donned something akin to a business suit.

"Sorry, but we can't let you get to Lady Raynare. We're almost done with the extraction of Twilight Healing, and we'll be damned if we let someone like you ruin it." said Mittelt, grinning evilly at the keyblade wielder.

"So this is the boy that managed to hold his own against Raynare?" Kalawarner mused, eyeing Sora up and down before licking her lips. "You're pretty cute… perhaps I'll make you my personal pet once we're done here."

"I don't have time for this!" Sora thought, narrowing his eyes at the three adversaries that stood before him. His gaze darted towards the staircase behind the altar for a quick second. "I need to get to Asia before it's too late, but these guys won't let me! Looks like I'll have to distract them until I can slip away without being noticed."

"It's no use, boy. No matter how powerful your Longinus is, it'll be too late for you to save that nun. To get to her, you need to get past the three of us first, but we won't make it easy for you." Donhaseek said, smiling at the frustrated look that appeared on Sora's face. "What? Gonna cry, boy? You are alone against three fallen angels, you don't stand a chance. You should just give it up, because that nun is as good as dead!"

"Who said he was alone?" a foreign voice said, shocking the three fallen angels and Sora as they quickly turned to see whoever it was.

From the shadows of the church, Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima stepped out into the open with serious looks on their faces, walking towards the altar as Sora looked overjoyed at the sight of his two senpais arriving to even the odds.

"Rias! Akeno! You came!" he exclaimed with a large smile on his face, while the three fallen angels stood frozen in their place.

"Reinforcements?! That's not fair! I'll kill the two of you bitches before you get the chance!" Freed shouted angrily at the sight of the two devils passing by as he aimed his gun at them, only to get a slashed across his cheek by Kiba.

"Your fight is with me, not them." Kiba smirked, knowing that Freed was now driven into a corner. Koneko had already left to join the fight against the three fallen angels, leaving the Knight to face off with the priest on his own.

Freed gritted his teeth as he lashed out at Yuuto, swinging his sword like a madman but the blonde teen was able to block his attacks efficiently. "It doesn't matter in the end, you hear me?! You're all going to lose! It's too late for that shitty maiden! She's going to die either way, and I'm gonna take pleasure in killing all of you after she's gone!"

"You really should have some faith in Sora." Kiba snickered, clashing blades with the priest once more.

Meanwhile, the fallen angels finally snapped out of their shock and panic began to fill them. They were now up against four devils who were all powerful, no doubt about it. Mittelt was the first to react from them, looking scared at the sight of Rias glaring daggers at all of them. "Shit, this is bad! It's the Crimson-haired Princess of Ruin!" she said in fright.

Rias stood beside her pawn and put a hand on his shoulder. "Sora, you go on ahead and save your friend. We'll take care of the fallen angels here." she said with a serious expression on her face.

Feeling reinvigorated by Rias' words, Sora didn't hesitate to nod in agreement. He was more determined than ever to save Asia. "Okay! I'll save Asia and come back as soon as I can!" he said, before using his Flowmotion to dash towards staircase behind the altar and rushed downstairs, shocking all three fallen angels at how quick he passed through them.

Kalwarner was the first to snap out of her shock as she created a light spear in her hand. "You won't get away, you brat!" she was about to throw it at Sora, only to be forced to fly away in order to dodge a lightning shot from Akeno's fingertips.

"Ara ara, if you want to get to my kouhai, you'll have to go through me, you crow." Akeno said with her sweet smile, although she was a lot of anger underneath it.

"Get back here, you devil! You can't interrupt the ritual!" Mittelt shrieked out, chasing after the keyblade wielder only to stop when Koneko appeared before her with her fists raised.

"I won't let you get to Sora-senpai." Koneko said tonelessly, charging towards the blonde fallen angel.

"This is bad… with that boy's Longinus, the ritual will never be finished! He must be stopped before he does anything!" Donhaseek thought, frustrated at how quickly things were turned against them. Before he could move to follow Sora down the staircase, he was met face-to-face with the leader of the peerage. "Heh. I should be honored then… the great princess of the Gremory Clan is standing in my way." he scoffed, creating a light spear in his hand.

"I heard what you said about my servant." Rias narrowed her eyes as a ball of dark energy formed in her hand. "What did you mean when you said it didn't matter how powerful his Longinus was? He doesn't even have a Sacred Gear, much less a Longinus."

Donhaseek grinned evilly, raising his spear of light. "That's where you are wrong, princess."

"My friends will be okay. They're all strong. I believe in them! I just have to get Asia out of here and deal with the fallen angels after!" Sora thought to himself repeatedly, rushing down the staircase after successfully getting through the ensuing battle in the sanctuary.

There was a door at the end of the staircase but when Sora tried to open it, he noticed that it was locked. Surprisingly, instead of using his keyblade to unlock it like he always does, he swung it open with a good shoulder tackle that blasted the door off its hinges. No doubt that the door was too old to keep holding up.

Sora entered the chamber, where he could see Asia Argento chained to a large cross at the end of it, with Raynare standing before her. The blonde nun was wearing a very thin dress and both women had magic circles over their chests.

"Asia! I'm here to save you, just hang on!" he called out to her in worry.

"S-Sora-san…" Asia moaned slowly, looking up to see the keyblade wielder with his weapon drawn. "You're here…"

"What do you know?" Raynare smiled, looking over her shoulder to peer at Sora. "You actually came after all. I was starting to think you were never going to show up."

Sora glared at the fallen angel, pointing his keyblade at his enemy. "Raynare, stop this! Let Asia go!"

"How sweet, but I can't do that." Raynare said condescendingly. "The ritual… is almost complete." Asia's body glowed in bright green light, before she screamed in agonizing pain. A small orb slowly appeared on her chest, causing Sora to widen his eyes.

"No! Don't you dare!" Sora yelled, charging forward with his keyblade in his tight grasp. However, before he could even get halfway to the pair at the end of the room, a swarm of Heartless appeared before him; several Shadows, Neoshadows, Soldiers, and Darkballs all turned their attention to the spiky brunette.

"I don't have time for this! Aeroga!" Not stopping in his charge, Sora casted his spell near the cross, causing all of the Heartless to be pulled into its vortex, clearing his path towards Asia but the fallen angel didn't seem to notice him. His eyes turned desperate as he saw more of the orb coming out of his blonde friend's chest. "Hang on, Asia!"

"Yes! YES!" Raynare exclaimed with an evil grin as the orb was fully extracted out of Asia's chest and floated slowly towards her waiting hands. "Almost there! Twilight Healing is now MINE!"

"Not if I have anything to say about it! THUNDAGA!" Sora shouted, raising his keyblade into the air as multiple lightning strikes rained down, hitting the group of Heartless that were caught in his wind spell and managing to electrocute Raynare in her place.

"GAAAAHH! W-WHAT THE—?!" she screamed in pain as the lightning coursed through her body. Almost immediately, Raynare felt the magic circle on her chest disappear due to the connection being interrupted. With its destination gone, the orb froze in mid-air. "NO!"

"Take this!" Sora delivered a strong kick against Raynare's midsection, sending her flying towards the wind vortex along with the Heartless inside it. A few more seconds later, the spell finally lost effect and caused all that were caught inside it to fall back to the ground.

Sora quickly freed Asia from the chains that had her bound to the cross, causing her lifeless body to fall against him. He quickly caught her in his arms and let her lie down on the floor, and he could tell she didn't have much time. Her face was pale and her eyes looked dull.

He looked up at the orb floating above them. "That's her Sacred Gear… if I give it back to her… she should be fine!" Sora grabbed the orb and quickly pushed it back into Asia's chest, glancing behind him to see if his enemies were up yet. Raynare was still struggling to recover from being electrocuted and feeling dizzy after getting caught in Sora's wind spell. Strangely enough, the Heartless were still on the ground with no signs of life, but he didn't pay it any attention. As long as they were still stunned, he can save Asia!

"Please work, please work!" he begged as a bright glow covered the girl's body, lasting only for a moment before dimming. As soon as the light vanished, Asia coughed and breathed loudly, her eyes coming back to life while a big smile made its way towards Sora's face.

"...S-Sora-san…" Asia smiled slowly.

"Asia, you're alive!" Sora hugged the girl happily as he helped her sit up. "I thought I was gonna lose you there for a second… I'm so glad you're okay!"

"You came for me…" Asia whispered, hugging the boy back as tears welled up in her eyes. "You actually came."

"Of course I did." he replied, helping the blonde nun get back to her feet. Asia had to lean against him for a few seconds until she felt her strength in her legs return. "You're my friend, Asia… and I never leave my friends behind."

"Y-You… insignificant… brat…" Raynare said, interrupting the two as she slowly got up on one knee, glaring hatefully at Sora. "You ruined everything…! I was so close… to getting Twilight Healing… and you ruined it!"

Sora only narrowed his eyes at Raynare while Asia clung onto him fearfully. "S-Sora-san…? What are we going to do?" she asked, unsure of what would happen now.

"Let's get out of here. She can't follow us while she's still like this." Sora said, grabbing Asia's hand and leading her out of the chamber, ignoring the Heartless that remained lifeless around him.

As soon as Sora and Asia left the room, the horde of Heartless immediately vanished while Raynare shakily got back to her feet. A black corridor then appeared near the cross, and out from it came a hooded figure.

"Wow. You got your ass handed to you a second time, huh? Guess now you know how strong the kid is." The figure said sarcastically, clapping his hands at the fallen angel who was fuming. "I told you not to underestimate him, but you still did. Now you lost your only chance in getting Twilight Healing from that nun."

"You bastard…! Your creatures were absolutely useless! They were supposed to hold that brat at bay while the ritual was about to be done! Those creatures were your doing, and I lost my chance to get Twilight Healing because of you!" Raynare shrieked, pinning the blame on the hooded figure instead as she looked ready to kill him.

The figure scoffed, waving off her words like nothing. "As if. Those things are just cannon fodder to the kid, you should've learned that when the old coot came back here the other day when he tried his hand at killing him. Guess your own arrogance became your downfall, little miss fallen angel."

"Y-You…" Raynare growled, creating a light spear in her hand as the hooded figure faked a yawn.

"I don't like where things are heading for all of you…" he said as a black corridor appeared behind him. "You guys lost the moment you thought you could handle a group of powerful devils, even if they're just kids. From now on, you're on your own. Good luck begging them for mercy." With that, he turned around and walked towards the corridor.

"Traitor!" she spat out, regaining enough of her strength to throw the light spear at him. Much to her shock however, the figure caught the light spear in his hand perfectly before it could even hit him!

The figure turned to her before twirling the spear in between his fingers. "Heh. You're not the first one to call me that." he chuckled, before finally teleporting away.

A stunned Raynare remained in her place for a few moments before shaking her head. "Who needs him?! He's done nothing useful for us ever since… all he cared about was getting information… and those little things he had under his command… they were all weak, anyway!" She turned her attention towards the door and began to storm her way out of the chamber. "I don't need his help… I'll have my revenge on that damn brat either way!"

Back at the sanctuary, a beaten Kalawarner and Mittelt were cornered against a wall, at the mercy of Rias Gremory as she prepared to fire an dark orb filled with her Power of Destruction at the two to end their existence once and for all. Donhaseek was knocked unconscious after getting electrocuted over and over by Akeno's lightning, while Kiba and Koneko were still fighting long and hard against Freed.

Said crazy psycho was grinning madly as he swung his sword and fired a second gun he had hidden in his robes. Kiba didn't look like he was tired even after all the running he did, enabling him to continue deflecting every bullet that tried to hit him. "You're really good at this, pretty boy! But can you say the same for this little bitch here?! HAHAHAHA!" Changing his strategy, Freed fired off a round of bullets towards Koneko, who didn't move from her place at all.

However, instead of turning her into a bloody mess, the bullets were crushed against her body as if she was a wall. Some of them were only successful in making tears in her school uniform but apart from that, she didn't seem like she was hurt. Freed soon realized that shooting wasn't going anywhere.

"Guns won't work on me," Koneko said boredly.

"Well, well," Freed smirked, blowing the smoke from his gun. "You're tough for a puny little girl, aren't ya?"

Koneko looked down at her chest and frowned. "Little…" She suddenly began throwing anything and everything around her towards Freed, who laughed maniacally and literally danced around to dodge everything that was thrown while clashing blades with Yuuto.

"Ara, you should never make fun of a woman's breasts, no matter what their age is…" came the voice of Akeno, who approached the scene with the same sweet smile on her face, with bolts of lightning flashing from her fingertips. It was clear that she still had energy to spare for another battle.

Freed immediately jumped back against the wall, seeing he was cornered by three devils now. Despite this, he still grinned madly at his adversaries. "Haha, well isn't this a surprise? The stupid ritual failed in the end, I can already tell. It doesn't matter, I still have another shot at killing all of you soon!" he spat.

"You won't get the chance." Kiba scowled, moving in to finish things with his sword raised above his head.

"Let's see about that! See ya later, shitty devils!" Freed smirked and pulled out a smoke bomb from his robes and threw it to the ground. The three devils had to jump away and cover their eyes while fanning the smoke with their hands. Once it subsided, Freed was already gone from their sights.

"He got away again," Kiba gritted his teeth.

"Let him be," another voice came in, as Rias walked up towards her peerage members. "He's not the reason why we came here."

"What happened to those fallen angels, Buchou?" Akeno asked with a heated scowl as though she loathed their kind above all else.

"Taken care of." Rias stated, using her Power of Destruction to finish the two females off earlier with no trace remaining. Her peerage members looked towards the area where Mittelt and Kalawarner were cornered just a while ago, and true to Rias' words, they were gone. The redhead then pointed to the unconscious Donhaseek who was twitching on the floor because of all the electricity he felt in his body. "There's only one of them left, assuming Sora has already dealt with the other female among them. I'm quite surprised you didn't kill him already, Akeno."

"Oh, you know me, Buchou." Akeno giggled, returning to her usual self. "You know that I would rather let you deal the final blow to our enemies."

"Alright then." Rias smiled at her friend as the whole peerage walked towards the altar where Donhaseek was.

"We're here!" a cheerful voice said, surprising the Gremory group as they knew who it was. At that same moment, Sora came out of the staircase while holding Asia's hand, the blonde nun following him with a shy smile. She looked completely fine and unharmed, causing Rias and the rest of her peerage to smile fondly at them. "I managed to get to her in time! Let's get out of here while we can!" he said with a huge grin on his face.

"Well done, Sora." Rias crossed her arms and smirked in pride for her pawn. She had thought that Sora was too late and Asia was already gone, but the keyblade wielder managed to fight against the odds yet again. "I knew you could do it."

"Thanks, Rias! Now we have to—!" Sora stopped in his words when he felt something grab his foot. Looking down, he saw Donhaseek holding his foot tightly despite the sparks coming out of his body from the electricity he felt. "Hey! Let go!" he shouted, struggling to free himself but the fallen angel had a tight grip.

"L-Let go of him…!" Asia squeaked as she tried to pull Sora away from Donhaseek.

"That fallen is quite persistent. He should know better than to lay a hand on my servant." Rias narrowed her eyes dangerously at the downed fallen angel. "Yuuto!"

"Hai!" Without hesitation, Kiba quickly rushed forward with his sword drawn.

As Sora tried to get his foot out of his grasp, Donhaseek looked up with a twisted grin on his face, creeping him out for a second. "Got you now, brat!" he shouted and at that exact same moment, Raynare came out of the staircase behind the altar, about to throw the light spear she held in her hand.

"How sentimental…!"

Asia gasped as she quickly saw Raynare from the corner of her eye, throwing the light spear with all her strength. "Sora-san!"

Rias' eyes widened as she saw Raynare. Her and the rest of the peerage quickly ran forward to help. "Sora, behind you!"

Sora froze at that dreadfully familiar voice, before he quickly regained his composure at hearing Rias' advice and summoned his keyblade. Turning his head to the source of the voice, his eyes widened to see a light spear was speeding towards him. He was about to raise his keyblade and block it, but before he could do anything, he was pushed away by Asia.

"Wha…" Sora stumbled to the floor alongside Donhaseek, who was silenced once and for all after Kiba drove his sword deeply into his back. Sora could only watch in horror while Asia took the shot in his place. Time seemed to slow down as the spear of light pierced through Asia's chest. The boy's eyes widened as blood burst out of the wound and the girl collapsed on the ground.

"ASIA!"

"Oh, too bad…" Raynare sighed, flying up towards the center of the sanctuary while watching the scene before her with a cruel smile. Kiba was cradling Asia in his arms while Sora was already crying, pleading for the girl to stay alive. She was breathing hard as she desperately clung to what little breath she had left.

"Asia, you have to stay strong! Just hold on, you hear me? I promise, everything's going to be okay!" Sora screamed, tears flowing out of his eyes as Rias, Akeno, and Koneko ran up to them to try and help.

"Sora….san…." Asia gasped softly, tears welling up in her eyes as well.

"Try not to talk! You'll only make the wound bleed a lot more!" Rias said, kneeling down next to the blonde nun. "Can't you use Twilight Healing on yourself?"

"I… I can't…." Asia felt too weak and was losing a lot blood every second. She was fading fast.

"No!" Sora cried, unable to accept that his friend was dying before his eyes. "Please, Asia! You have to hold on! You can't die here!"

"That's a good look for someone as pathetic as you, Sora-kun. I wanted to go after that traitor, but you just piss me off more, brat. Sooooo sad about Asia though, but if I can't have the Twilight Healing, then there's no way I'm letting anyone else take it." Raynare mocked. "You never leave your friends behind? Well, you have to leave that girl behind now. She's as good as dead."

At that moment, Sora froze and looked at the ground with his hair covering his face.

Akeno narrowed her eyes at Raynare for insulting her kouhai. That was one boundary she shouldn't have crossed. The vice president stood up and smirked dangerously. "Ara, such a naughty fallen angel… I wonder how much punishment you can take." Akeno shot out multiple bolts of lightning from her fingers, as Raynare flew around to avoid all of them.

"Sora, don't listen to her." Kiba quickly turned towards his friend, who remained silent until now. Rias and Koneko looked at Sora in worry, since the keyblade wielder was being a little too quiet after hearing Raynare's words. Kiba's expression turned serious, worried that the brunette might be out of their reach now. "Sora, listen to me! We can save Asia, so don't let her words get to you!"

"Save her? Ha!" Raynare laughed, a spear of light appearing in her hand as she reared it back. "How pathetic. You can't save her once you're all dead!"

"Strike Raid!"

"What the—?!" Sora's keyblade hit the fallen angel square in the chest before she could get the chance to throw her light spear, knocking her back and causing her to fall to the ground.

The whole Gremory peerage looked at Sora afterwards, who stood up from his place as his keyblade reappeared in his hand. They couldn't see his face since it was covered by his spiky hair, but it was already clear that he wasn't crying anymore.

"Sora?" Rias asked in worry as the keyblade wielder pointed his weapon towards Asia.

"Curaga."

Much to the group's complete shock, the gaping wound on Asia's chest closed almost instantly. After that, the girl's breathing became slower and calmed down compared to her near-death state earlier. But before they could say anything else, Sora's quiet but serious voice was what followed.

"I only closed her wound. She's not fully recovered. Get her out of here."

At the other end of the sanctuary, Raynare got up from being struck by Sora's keyblade and she didn't look amused at all. "You little brat! You still want to fight?!" she yelled out, creating a light spear in her other hand as she grinned evilly. "Fine, I'll kill you first and deal with your devil friends after! You won't be able to save all of them! They're gonna die a lonely death like Asia!"

With one big leap, Sora jumped over his friends and stood in front of them while gripping his keyblade tight. At that moment, he finally looked up and narrowed his eyes at Raynare, which were all red from all the tears he shed earlier. The fallen angel actually flinched for a bit at seeing how serious Sora was, before she shook it off.

"Asia won't die here… I won't let it happen." he said in a low tone that promised danger for the fallen angel who stood before him. "But the same can't be said for you."

"And who are you to stop me? You're just a kid with a weak Sacred Gear." Raynare continued to mock him, a smug grin appearing on her face. "You had to use magic to gain an edge over me. You used magic to save Asia from the ritual, but what would have happened if you couldn't? Without it, you're nothing!"

"PROMOTION: ROOK OF VALOR!" Sora shouted as he twirled his keyblade in his hand before raising it into the air, causing bright light to cover his entire body for a moment. When the light disappeared, everyone's eyes widened at the slight change in Sora's overall look.

A dark keyblade had appeared in Sora's left hand while he held his original one in the other. "You want me to fight without magic? I'll give you what you want." the boy scowled, twirling both the Kingdom Key and Oblivion in his hands before getting into his battle stance.

And there we go. Boom, big reveal. Rook promotion is Valor Form, what else would it be? A lot of people already guessed it right, so applaud yourselves for that. Sora managed to save Asia from having Twilight Healing extracted from her but wasn't able to prevent her from sacrificing herself to save him. How's that for diverging from DxD canon? That guy in the hood has also cut off his ties with Raynare's group, but we'll be seeing him again in the future. Anyways, Raynare sure made Sora mad and now she's gonna pay. Oblivion responded to Sora's anger, and he now has it as a regular keyblade alongside Kingdom Key. You wanted no magic, Raynare? You'll get it because Valor Form Sora is ready to beat you up. Next chapter should be interesting since we're about to wrap up the Asia arc.

SORA'S PROMOTIONS (I figured I should explain how his promotions work since they are similar to the Drive Forms, but also different at the same time):

1. Limit Knight - enhances Sora's mobility and speed; enables glide, superjump, quick run, aerial dodge, dodge roll

2. Rook of Valor - enhances Sora's strength and defense tenfold; enables dual-wielding but cannot cast magic in this promotion

Goodbye… and good nighy! BANG! *too sweet gesture*
