(Play - "Kairi")
(Heaven)
Kairi sat on the bed in her room, looking out the window and into the night sky. As much as she wanted to explore this whole place, she didn't feel like it was the right time to do such a thing. She was all alone, adventuring isn't the same if there was no one around. Heh, if Sora was here, he'd drag her with him and they'll walk around the entirety of Heaven because that's just how he is. After all, a few years ago, they dreamed of leaving their home and explore other worlds.
Sora… yeah, the sole reason why she was here.
The girl didn't have her pink dress on, but rather some white robes that would make her seem like she's an inhabitant of Heaven. Michael told her that her true nature was knowledge limited to the Seraphs only, and if other angels see her wearing her usual clothing, it would spark questions and they weren't ready for it yet. Kairi understood this and kept her old clothes in a nearby drawer and started using these robes for now.
A few days have passed since she found herself taken in by Gabriel and Michael in this new world, and while she had no idea where Sora or her other friends might be, Kairi understood why she ended up in Heaven after learning more about the supernatural from the two Seraphs.
According to Michael, she woke up outside the gates of Heaven due to her nature as a Princess of Heart in her own worldline, meaning that her heart and soul guided her to this place. She could have ended up in either the realm in-between (Earth) or perhaps the Underworld but no, her pureness led her here. That alone fascinated all of the Seraphs that someone from another universe actually had a nature that could guarantee them a place in Heaven when they pass away. Furthermore, there were actually a few more others who were like Kairi and they wanted to know more, but thanks to Gabriel's suggestion, they used her Gummiphone instead of asking the girl directly.
Kairi was grateful to Gabriel for that, since she didn't really feel like talking much. After knowing the reason why she ended up in Heaven, she could only deduce that the others were either in Earth or the Underworld. Actually, 'deduce' would be an overstatement because there was no concrete prood that they were even here… even Sora.
Apparently, she was only listening to what her heart was telling her.
On top of that, she wasn't allowed to go out of Heaven… yet. Michael understood her desire to go out and search for her friends, and he wanted to help her by finding a good place where she could begin her search, as a little gift for being blessed with such a pure heart. Kairi couldn't be any more grateful for that when the blonde angel told her about it, and immediately hugged him with tears of joy flowing down her eyes.
That's why she was just sitting in her room right now; she was only waiting for Michael to come by and tell her about his findings. Still, even though she wouldn't have the opportunity to explore Heaven, Kairi still learned about its system and the basic gist of how things work around here. She also learned about how she arrived in this world, which was through a dimensional rift, and she quickly understood that it wouldn't be easy finding a way back. Compared to her demeanor a few days ago in Radiant Garden, she was feeling a lot better now that she was getting closer than ever to finding Sora. Even if she lost Xion, Aqua, and Roxas along the way, she could find them as well.
"Wait for me, Sora." Kairi thought to herself, looking up at the sky. For the first time since Sora disappeared, the girl allowed a small smile to form on her face. "This time, I'll be the one who finds you, I promise."
All of a sudden, the door to the room had opened, immediately getting Kairi's attention as she thought it was Michael who came to see her. Instead, it was the angel who had found her sleeping outside the gates of Heaven.
"Miss Gabriel?" Kairi asked as the blonde lady walked closer towards the bed.
"Oh, good evening, dear Kairi." Gabriel smiled kindly as she bowed her head, which the redhead imitated as a sign of respect. "I know you must be expecting Nii-san right now, but you'll have to forgive him. He's in another important meeting with the other Seraphs, so… I took the opportunity to tell you the news myself!"
"Does that mean you sneaked out of that meeting, Miss Gabriel?" Kairi tilted her head knowingly. During her temporary stay in Heaven, she had gotten to know Gabriel, who took the time to explain the system of this place to her, only at the cost of evading several meetings with her fellow Seraphs.
"Uhm… I don't think they need me there since Nii-san is not looking for me," Gabriel replied cluelessly. "Anyway, what I'm about to tell you is something you'd really like to hear, since it's about you."
"W-What is it, Miss Gabriel?"
Gabriel then sat down on the bed beside the girl and placed a gentle hand on her head. "The other two Seraphs were really interested in you after they found out about your pure heart and the powerful light that you possess, that they were considering turning you into an angel like us."
"O-Oh…" Kairi murmured, before her eyes slowly widened upon understanding the implications behind Gabriel's words. "Turn me into an angel…? Is that even possible? I'm not from this world…"
"The Seraphs are all capable of turning normal humans into angels using the Brave Saint system, and…" Gabriel trailed off, now pondering over Kairi's point as she tapped her chin. "I'm not really sure if it can work on you, but… that's what Raphael and Uriel said. Nii-san was actually considering it too, and they all agreed that I should be the one who'll take you in if you accept once they ask."
"I see…" Kairi nodded slowly, turning her gaze away. As much as she wanted to decline the offer, she couldn't find it in her to say it. These people were the ones who found her and they helped her without hesitation, so maybe the least she could do in return was to agree—
"...But I think we shouldn't ask," Gabriel continued. She wrapped her arms around Kairi in a hug, which snapped the girl out of her thoughts and brought her back to reality. "Back when I found you outside the gate, you were whispering a certain name over and over while you were asleep… I think it was 'Sora', or maybe something else…?"
Kairi raised an eyebrow. "I was?"
Gabriel turned her attention back to the girl. "Oh, yes. I told Nii-san and the others about that, and that's when they understood that you want to find your friends above all else." She released Kairi from the hug and smiled warmly at her afterwards. "That's a very noble thing to do, dear Kairi. You're already focused on a certain goal, and you didn't lose sight of it even when you got here. That's what I told the other Seraphs, and they all agreed that we shouldn't ask you about the 'turning into an angel' thing anymore!"
Kairi widened her eyes in surprise as soon as she heard those words from Gabriel, before she quickly recomposed herself. "T-Thank you, Miss Gabriel. I really appreciate it," she quickly bowed her head before flashing a nervous smile. "I-It's not that I don't want to be like you and Sir Michael, and… the offer sounds really tempting, but… I have to focus on finding Sora and my friends…" She looked at Gabriel shyly. "M-Maybe I can think about it after I find them…? Although… we still have to go home, so I'm not sure…"
The blonde Seraph shook her head. "It's quite alright, dear Kairi. I completely understand what you want to do. Your love for your friends is something we wouldn't want to get in the way of."
"T-Thank you," Kairi bowed her head once again out of gratitude.
"Hmm, now that I think about it… I also asked Nii-san if I could come with you to help find your friends," Gabriel tapped her chin as she remembered another important discussion she had with her fellow Seraphs. She then smiled brightly now that it hit her. "Oh right, he actually agreed to let me go with you! We can go together tomorrow!"
That was something that completely took Kairi off guard. "B-But… don't you have your duties here in Heaven? You don't have to go with me, Miss Gabriel. I can look for Sora and my friends on my own," she looked at her hand and placed it on her chest. "You've already done enough for me."
"Nonsense, dear Kairi." Gabriel shook her head again. "I would be delighted to help you search for them, because it would be unfitting for a Seraph like me to let an innocent soul like you go out on your own without someone to guide you. I know more about the places on Earth than the other Seraphs as well, so you wouldn't have to spend a long time finding them. Nii-san understands this, that's why he allowed me to go with you."
"Uhm… t-thank you…" At this point, Kairi didn't know what she should do, and she simply resorted to bowing her head while turning her gaze. "You and Sir Michael have already done enough for me ever since I ended up here, I… I don't know how I can make it up to you."
"There is no need repay us for this. It always makes me happy to help humans in need, and you are no different, Kairi." Gabriel smiled, before her expression into one that showed curiosity. "Although, I'm curious about one thing… what is your relationship with Sora, the person you want to find…?"
Kairi raised an eyebrow. At this point, she was sure that the Seraphs knew the reason why she was here. "Uhm, Sora is my childhood friend who disappeared from my worldline… didn't you read about him when Sir Michael showed you my Gummiphone?"
"Oh, I must have forgotten… pardon me," Gabriel smiled apologetically and bowed her head. "You see, human relationships have always interested me since the day I first came down to Earth. I am curious about your relationship with him since you seem to… hold him in higher regard more than your other friends… uhm… am I wrong?"
Kairi blushed slightly and turned her gaze away, knowing that Gabriel was speaking the truth. "Sora and I… w-we've been through a lot together, so… I… I guess I do think of him a lot more than Xion, Roxas, and Aqua…" she admitted, unable to bring herself to hide this fact from a Seraph.
"I see… then that means… you love Sora, then." Gabriel concluded with a simple nod of her head.
"W-W-W-W-What kind of question is that…?" The girl sputtered, her face turning crimson at how Gabriel boldly declared that she… loved Sora. What's interesting about this was that Kairi didn't look like she was denying it, rather she was only caught off guard with the angel's sudden words.
"Oh, forgive me for this, dear Kairi." Gabriel said as she noticed that the young redhead was in an embarrassed state. "During the times that I visited Earth, I've found out that a person who thinks of another for a long time… it means that there is… deep attachment between the two. I've asked Nii-san about this, and… he told me that it was love."
"L-Love…" Kairi muttered, her mind subconsciously drifting off to her own memories regarding Sora, all while continuing to listen to Gabriel.
"Of course, there are many different kinds of love," Gabriel cupped her chin and hummed in confusion. "There's… love for your family, for your friends… your love for God, and… the love you feel for another person. The last one is really interesting for me, because it involves a lot more feelings than the others… I wonder what it feels, so that's why I was asking you. You seem to treat Sora as someone more than just a friend, dear Kairi…"
"I… I guess I do," Kairi admitted while biting her lip nervously. During her whole life, she considered Riku and Sora to be her closest friends, but somehow she was more attached to the latter and Kairi knew it.
He was the one who saved her on multiple occassions, and the one whom she shared a Paopu fruit with. It was his disappearance that left her an emotional wreck, and it was also because of Sora that she chose to go with Aqua on this rescue mission, not even caring about the consequences of her own actions. In fact, it could be said that everything she's done up until this point was all because of her desire to be finally together with him in peace. Hell, she also knew that Sora wanted the same thing and she couldn't be any more happier with that.
Gabriel made a surprised noise, before leaning closer to the girl in wonder. "Then that means… you really love Sora?"
Unable to face Gabriel about this matter, Kairi only sighed as she looked out the window, thinking about where could that lazy bum be at this very moment.
"I do."

(ORC Clubroom)
As soon as the battle was over, Sora and the rest of the Occult Research Club returned to their original clubroom via a magic circle and were currently resting after that intense Rating Game. Thanks to Sora's efforts of fighting against most of Riser's servants, everyone else sustained only minor injuries, except for Asia who got burned badly but was now fully healed.
The moment he returned to the clubroom, Sora lied down on the nearest couch to take a quick nap, since he was the one who spent the most energy among them. While he was sleeping, Rias took the opportunity to give him a lap pillow while running her hand over Sora's spiky locks.
"Sora-kun is truly something else, isn't he?" Akeno said, happily blushing at the memory of performing a limit break with Sora. That was an intense and breathtaking moment that she would remember for a long time. It was also something she had that Rias didn't, and she couldn't wait to tease her leader about it.
"Yes he is. I never imagined he could actually get through to Riser with only words… although it did involve him taking down that man a peg." Rias said with a fond smile adorning her face, being aware of the little discussion that her pawn had with Riser at the end of the Rating Game.
From there, she was beginning to think that Sora was capable of making the impossible, possible.
It was at this moment that Sora stirred in his sleep and began to open his eyes slowly. The first thing that met his gaze was the unmistakable sight of crimson hair above him, and it didn't even take him a moment to realize who it was.
"Rias…?" he asked sleepily, stretching his arms before letting out a huge yawn.
"Hello, sleepyhead." Rias said, smiling warmly at her beloved pawn.
Sora suddenly wondered why the redhead was above him, causing him to turn his head to both sides before he realized what was happening. "Why is my head on your lap?" he asked, blushing slightly which made Rias giggle at how cute he looked.
"You looked tired from all the fighting, so I wanted to return the favor by giving you a lap pillow, Sora. Is this the first time you received something like this?"
The boy blushed deeper at that, because it wasn't. Kairi had given him plenty of lap pillows back during their childhood days at the Destiny Islands, particularly when he would end up sleeping on the sandy beach. While he never really figured out the reason why she does it, Kairi explained that 'it's the least she could do while looking out for a lazy bum like him', but he was confused with that since he was only a little kid at the time.
Now that he looked back on those times… IT WAS ACTUALLY EMBARRASSING! W-Well, maybe a bit embarrassing at the very least…? He couldn't really deny that receiving a lap pillow from Kairi felt good and it made him feel special, like there was a warm feeling bubbling up inside of him every time she did it. Also, the feeling of her thighs were— NO, THAT'S ENOUGH! STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!
"N-Not really… someone already did this for me in the past…" he admitted while looking away and whispering the last part to himself. Sora didn't want to share such an embarrassing memory with any of them.
"Really? Well, I guess this makes things easier for you then." Rias cupped his cheek and leaned closer to the Sora's blushing face, all while giving him a smile of her own. "Thanks to you, I'm no longer engaged to Riser and I'm free to do whatever I want. I can't tell you how much I'm grateful for what you've done for me, Sora."
Hearing her words made the boy forget about his embarrassment for a moment as he grinned back. "Not a problem, Rias! You're my friend, and I would hate to see you put in a horrible situation like that… although you don't have to worry about Riser anymore." He explained, remembering the little discussion he had with the blonde man. "I talked to him earlier, and he promised that he's now going to change his ways."
"Yes, I've heard…" Rias smirked as she bopped his nose with her finger, making Sora blush. "You little devil, making miracles happen left and right… I wonder how you would surprise next time…"
A familiar blonde-haired Bishop approached the two while fidgeting her fingers in nervousness. "Uhm, Buchou…" Asia's timid voice caught the two devils' attention as she blushed. "I… I want to give Sora-san a lap pillow too!"
"Huh?" Sora voiced in confusion, although he blushed at the fact that Asia wanted him to lay his head on her lap too.
Meanwhile, Rias only smirked in triumph at her bishop. "Asia, you can give Sora a lap pillow later on. I just want to enjoy this moment with my cute pawn. After all, he did save me by winning the Rating Game for our side."
"Ara, if that's the case…" Akeno approached them with her usual smile, while she also had a hand on her cheek lovingly. "I should be the one giving Sora-kun a lap pillow."
"This is bad… they're going to fight again, aren't they…? I have to stop them before they do!" Sora began to grimace in fear of what could blow up between his leader and the Queen, just as Rias sent a look of annoyance towards Akeno.
"And why is that, Akeno? Didn't you hear what I said? Sora won the Rating Game to save me, I don't recall you being the one who was in danger of being married to a blonde jerk."
"Ara, but I have a claim to Sora-kun just as much as you have, Rias. You see, we shared a very intimate moment together while fighting against the Bomb Queen…" Akeno spoke, while the redhead sent the keybearer a suspicious look and Sora could only shake his head. "There I was, on the brink of defeat by her hands, if it wasn't for Sora-kun arriving to save me. We joined our energies together to defeat Riser's Queen, and…" Akeno hugged herself as though she had experienced the most intense orgasm ever, causing the spiky brunette to sweat-drop. "Oh, the sheer strength behind our limit break was so pleasing to unleash as punishment to the enemy~"
Rias crossed her arms and huffed, unable to come up with a worthy response to that. So that's how Riser's Queen got eliminated from the game. "S-So what? The next time we fight in a Rating Game, Sora and I will perform a combination move of our own, and it will be leagues better than yours!"
"Uhhh… guys…?" Sora voiced out, trying to make his presence known.
"N-No, we will be the best! I want to combine my powers with Sora-san too!" Asia clenched her fists close to her chest and shut her eyes tightly, not wanting to be left out.
"Sora-senpai can always lay his head on my lap." Koneko said tonelessly from the opposite couch, eating sweets while staring at Sora quite intensely.
"Not you too, Koneko chan…" the boy deadpanned.
"Enough! I get to give Sora a lap pillow tonight because he saved me from a horrible fate!" Rias exclaimed loudly in an attempt to assert her authority as the King of her peerage, although all it did was create a bigger conflict between the girls. Sora was honestly thinking of sneaking away from Rias' lap and leave the place until everything calms down, but he had no chance of doing so when Rias buried his head into her bosom.
The poor boy began waving his arm frantically so that someone could help him, but all the girls were focused on fighting over who gets to give him a lap pillow. Sora was beginning to suffocate from the lack of air and just when all hope seemed to be lost for Sora, Rias released him from her grasp when an orange magic circle suddenly appeared in the middle of the room.
Sora quickly sat up and took several breaths to regain his composure, and he was able to get back to his senses to see Riser Phenex and his sister Ravel appearing from the magic circle. Like everyone else inside the room, the keyblade wielder was shocked to see them coming for a visit.
"Riser, what are you doing here? Come to ask for another chance?" Rias asked with suspicion in her tone. Even though her disdain for the guy had lessened, she wasn't prepared to see him again this soon.
Ravel raised her arm to get everybody's attention, since it would be easier that way. "My brother came because he wanted to ask the Red Dragon Emperor something about their battle. We come in peace," she said calmly.
That got everyone's complete attention, now being reminded of Sora's current situation that they knew about midway through the Rating Game. They all looked at the spiky-haired boy with widened eyes, while Sora himself looked oblivious to it since he had his attention on Riser. It was enough for Rias to give a nod of approval to let the two go about their business, all while feeling confused regarding her pawn's apparent nature as a Longinus wielder.
"What is it, Riser?" Sora asked with his arms posed behind his head.
"Those Phoenix Tears that you had during our battle… who gave you them?" Riser asked while frowning in confusion, unaware of his sister blushing heavily since she, well… yeah…
"Oh, Ravel-chan gave them to me." Sora pointed to the young girl, who blushed deeper when she felt all pairs of eyes in the room dawn upon her. "She said that it wouldn't be fair for me if I fight you when you can heal from anything."
Riser turned towards his sister, who held her head down in shame before he smirked knowingly. "I see. But how did those Phoenix Tears turn into a new weapon like that giant key you use… a 'keyblade', was it? After that, your appearance changed and then I noticed that you've also gained the powers of my family. What did you do to it?"
Now that took Ravel by surprise, because she never knew about this. "Wait, what?!" she asked in confusion, turning towards Sora.
"You mean this?" Sora stood up from the couch and summoned his newest keyblade, which was named Phoenix Down. All of the people inside the clubroom, except for Riser and Rias, widened their eyes at seeing the weapon which somehow resembled the Phenex clan with its design. "I don't really know how the Phoenix Tears, but… if I had to guess… it was the symbol of my bond with Ravel-chan, and it took on the form of a keyblade, which gave me the powers of your family through your sister. You see, that's how I gain new keyblades throughout my journey. Remember that keyblade with the power of light that I showed you earlier? It's a symbol of the bond I share with one of my friends."
"My bond with… the Red Dragon Emperor… turned into a weapon?!" Ravel now had steam erupting from her ears as she listened to Sora's explanation, before she slapped her cheeks with her hands and shook her head. Poor girl, she couldn't believe that she inadvertently made the Red Dragon Emperor stronger than before. "No, no, stop thinking about it!"
Riser nodded slowly. "Interesting… but what gave you the idea of using those Phoenix Tears if you didn't turn into a keyblade? You said you were holding back in our fight, weren't you? You couldn't have been planning to use the vial to heal yourself, then."
"Well… there was a voice in my head that told me to use them." Sora revealed, which caught everyone off guard out of surprise. The boy was unaware that his friends were looking at him with wide eyes as he continued to speak. "I didn't know who it was, and I keep hearing that voice sometimes… but since I was in the middle of a fight and I was figuring out a way to beat you… I just followed what it told me. I never realized that that voice was actually trying to help me," he finished with his usual grin.
The blonde man frowned in confusion. "Voice in your head? Wait a minute, are you not aware that you're—?" Riser cut himself off when he noticed Rias shaking her head furiously with a serious look on her face, and he immediately got the message. "...Never mind. You already answered all my questions, so my business here is done." He summoned another magic circle and was about to leave, but not before sending one more glance at the keybearer. "This isn't the last time we'll meet, Sora. We'll fight again in the future. Take care of Rias and treat her well."
"You got it! I'll keep her safe from danger, trust me!" Sora replied, causing said redhead to blush furiously while hiding a warm smile to herself.
Riser nodded as he teleported away through the magic circle, leaving Ravel who surprisingly walked towards the spiky brunette with a bashful look on her face, the memory of her 'bond with Sora' turning into a keyblade still fresh in her mind.
"Is something wrong, Ravel-chan?" Sora tilted his head curiously.
The girl slowly looked up at him, a blush still visible on her cheeks. "I-I-I just wanted to thank you. You gave my brother a much-needed attitude adjustment, something that even our parents couldn't do. As his little sister, I also admit that he wasn't worthy of Rias before but thanks to you, he finally realized it."
Sora shrugged his shoulders. "Well, like I said, I just wanted to teach him a lesson… but anyway, you're very welcome, Ravel-chan!"
"Hmph! D-Don't get the wrong idea, it's not like I'm trying to praise you or anything!" she huffed and looked, avoiding further embarrassment by reverting to one of her tsundere responses. "W-Well then, this is goodbye…!" She bowed her head respectfully, before leaving through the same magic circle that her brother used.
"That… was awkward…" Sora muttered, sweat-dropping a bit much to the amusement of his friends.
(Play - "Hikari [Piano Version]")
And so, after a short celebration in the clubroom, the whole Gremory peerage went to their respective homes afterwards. Back at the apartment, Asia and Koneko were already sleeping soundly in their rooms after a tiring battle while Sora spent a few minutes writing on his journal about what happened in the Rating Game. He had gotten accustomed to keeping records of his adventures here that he was considering himself the new Jiminy Cricket, but nobody could replace 'ol Jiminy, of course.
"That should be enough… I'm really tired after everything today… I'm really lucky that I get to sleep normally now," Sora yawned as he stretched his limbs a bit. He stood up from his desk and turned off his phone. "But in the end, everything turned out okay, and I'm happy with it."
He turned around and was about to get on his bed, only to see the door to his room opening, with a familiar crimson-haired girl in her pajamas stepping inside.
"Sora? You're still awake?" Rias asked in a surprised tone.
"Rias? What are you doing here?" Sora said in return.
The Gremory girl closed the door behind her and walked closer towards the boy, a look of worry forming on her face. "I just… wanted to see how you were doing. You're the one who spent the most energy among us, you fought nearly Riser's entire peerage, and… you still managed to win for all of us. You didn't have to do all of those things, but you still did. You must be really tired, Sora."
Sora shrugged before grinning widely. "I've honestly been through worse, but yeah… after spending time in this world, I learned what it feels like to be tired again." Before he knew it, Rias wrapped her arms around him in a hug, catching him off guard as he looked at her in slight confusion. "Rias?"
"I wanted to thank you again, Sora." The moment he heard her sniffle, the boy became worried that Rias may be dangerously close to crying. "My engagement to Riser has only been a burden to me for a long time. I thought that my parents would never let me have freedom over my choices, and that I'll be a trophy wife of an arrogant bastard for the rest of my life." Rias pulled away from the hug and looked at Sora with a smile, with tears of joy flowing down her cheeks. "That was until I met you, Sora. It's thanks to you that I'm no longer betrothed to him. It's because of you that I'm finally free. Thank you."
Sora smiled at her in return. "You're my friend, Rias. I always look out for my friends." He then scratched the back of his head as a slight blush appeared on his face. This may not mean much, but… during the time I've spent in this new world, I see you and the others as my precious people. I'm not from this world, but… you're the first ones who welcomed me with open arms, that I almost feel like I belong here." The boy smiled as he recalled the time when he first met the people whom he would grow close to in a matter of weeks. "I'll never forget that day when—!"
His words were cut off by Rias pressing her lips against his. The feeling of something foreign touching his lips made Sora's eyes widen as his whole face burned red. Right now, he was mentally screaming and was in complete disbelief as the girl wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body against his.
"W-W-W-W-WHAT'S HAPPENING…?! IS RIAS KISSING ME?!" Sora shouted in his thoughts, unable to properly respond to Rias kissing him, directly on the lips. His arms were waving frantically as well, meaning that he was terribly confused on what he should do. Should he push her away? Should he give in? Should he remain frozen in shock? He couldn't make a decision in time as the girl broke away from him, with a trail of saliva connecting their mouths. "R...Rias…" he muttered, his breathing becoming erratic as though he did something terribly wrong.
Even with blush that was visible on her face, Rias giggled as she gave the boy a saucy smile. "That was your first kiss, wasn't it? Because for me, it was. Did you know that Japanese girls treasure their first kiss, Sora?"
"I-It was…" he murmured, his brain still registering what just happened. Sora never thought that this would be the first time he kissed a girl on the lips, and it wasn't Kairi!
Wait… Kairi!
Sora looked up at Rias, but in her place, he saw his red-haired childhood friend smiling lovingly at him while touching her lips fondly. This made the boy blink for a few times, before he looked down and began to contemplate.
Deep, deep, deep down inside him, there was a part of him that longed for Kairi, which was the reason why he chose to add him feeding her a Paopu fruit to the drawing at the Secret Place back home. Whether it was attraction to her beauty or personality, he never really cared. As a child, he normally had dreams of one day growing up and having a family, with Kairi being the one whom he ends up with.
However, all chances of that happening may have shattered when the darkness took over Destiny Islands. Thus began a series of adventures in which they continued to get separated over and over until now, where they were literally universes apart. But throughout that time, he had learned that Kairi added something to the drawing at the Secret Place, which was feeding a Paopu fruit to him in return. Not only that, but they also brought that very same drawing to life when they fed a Paopu fruit to each other the day before the Keyblade War. That brought him to one simple conclusion:
He never told Kairi how he felt for her.
As much as he was aware of how dense he could be, Sora knew what this meant for Rias. He was embarrassed about it, but he too had thoughts of what it was like to kiss somebody, and how he wanted to do it with Kairi. Yes, he has feelings for Kairi, and he understood that ever since he drew that Paopu fruit at the Secret Place. There were many times in which he imagined himself and Kairi as a couple throughout his journey, and how he desperately wanted it to be true. He had feelings for his childhood friend up until now, actually… and that won't change.
It will never change.
But why couldn't he tell Rias that…?
Regaining his senses, the mental image of Kairi was replaced with Rias as the girl began to lick her lips, before leaning closer towards him again.
"Hm…" She whispered, poking Sora's cheek slightly. "One more time, Sora… I want to feel it again…"
Sora only had a moment to blink before Rias kissed him again, this time with intense passion as she pushed him to the bed, making them fall over with the girl straddling his hips. Her tongue pried into his mouth, lapping up his teeth and wrestling his tongue to make him submit to her. Sora could feel her tongue against his, and he subconsciously liked how soft and sweet it was.
Damn hormones are at it again.
At this point, Sora's mind had shut down and he gave himself up to her, responding to her wiles as the last thing he could think of before finally losing it was Kairi.
He felt the whole world disappear around him and there was only the French kiss, with his muscles growing weak as he finally moved his lips to respond to her, albeit very slowly. The two eventually pulled away, with their lips only being centimeters apart. Their eyes opened half-way, and Sora could have sworn that he saw Kairi in Rias' place before the girl plunged in again happily, with him actually responding to the kiss while smiling and having one thought in his subconscious,
"Do I have… feelings for Rias… like what I feel for Kairi…? What am I going to do…"
(Stop playing - "Hikari [Piano Version]")
And there we go. The Riser arc is finally done as we check up on Kairi in Heaven, who is going down to Earth with Gabriel soon to look for Sora and the others. Will they meet or not? We'll see. We also witness her openly admitting that she loves Sora… awww. Next, we see Ravel and Riser finding out about Sora's new keyblade and that tsundere is flabbergasted to know that he got a weapon because of their bond, lol. Last but not the least, looks like Rias did kiss Sora, leaving him terribly confused by the end. He knows he has feelings for Kairi, but what does he feel for Rias? What does this mean for Kairi? We'll find out. Next chapter should be interesting because we're starting the Excalibur arc.
All right, before you guys kill me because of the fact that I had Rias take Sora's first kiss, hear me out first. I ship the hell out of Sora and Kairi, just to let you know, that I have made an AMV about them. For this story, I needed Rias to make her move because think about it. No matter what kind of hints the girls give Sora, his mind is going to say Kairi in the end. I have to remind yet again that this is a HAREM fic, which means many girls are going to get with Sora. Now that Rias shook things up for Sora by taking the first moment of intimacy from him, he's now going to think about other girls too along with Kairi, which will lead this story into the direction I need it to be. It's not like Kairi will be forgotten, lmao. She will get her moments with Sora, trust me. I already implied she gave him lap pillows back in their days at the Destiny Islands. If you have any further problems that involve being retarded about my decision, you can always quit on this fanfic and make your own. I'm the writer here, fellas. Deal with it.
Goodbye… and good night! BANG! *too sweet gesture*
