Jimmy and Marina's Journey Chapter: 1
Guess what readers, I got a big brain idea, I can make stories that can eventually converge into the event of "Ash's New Adventure." I'm making this a 5-part saga thing: the first is "Ash's New Adventure" The second and third are going to be parallel to that story, which is this one and a Goh and Chloe story. Next there will be a kind of prequel of Serena's journey through Hoenn. The final one is personally going to be my fav: a story about a long-lost descendant of Ash taking part 600 years after the ending of Ash's New Adventure. So, I'm starting the second part of that giant story series, so without further ado, here's the first chap :-)
"Marina, how much further until we get to Mt. Silver?" asked Jimmy
"Patience," said Marina, "we are almost there. Remember, the first thing that we will do when we get there is to register to the league, and while you do that, I will register for the contest being held there."
"Sure, but do I have to watch the contest, I would much rather train for the Silver Conference," replied Jimmy.
"Look over here mister, you are not only going to watch the contest, you are going to enjoy it ok?" said Marina with a stern look
Jimmy stiffened up in fear, "yes Ma'am"
Soon, the duo was able to reach Mt. Silver with little hassle.
"So, this is where we will split for now, I'll be at the contest registration booth while you go register for the league, let's meet back in a couple hours at the Pokémon Center," said Marina
"Ok, sure," replied Jimmy
So, the two soon went to their respective booth. When Jimmy reached the booth for registering for the Silver Conference, his pokegear started ringing.
"Hello Vincent?" asked Jimmy
"JIMMY! How are you? Have you asked her out yet?" asked Vincent
Jimmy turned red at this comment, "what are you talking about, ask who out?"
"C'mon bro, it is obvious you like Marina, you even said to me before that you will ask her out before the Silver Conference starts," replied Vincent
"Well, there has been a change in plans….umm…oh! I know! I'll ask her out after I won the League," replied Jimmy
"How do you know that you are going to win?" asked Vincent
"Hehehe, if I don't win, who will?" asked Jimmy
"There's many people, for example that kid who became the Alolan Champion and defeated a legendary using a Pikachu, ooh, there's that person from a few years back who used a Darkrai and Latios in the Lily of the Valley Conference, there's also—"
"I get it!," interrupted Jimmy, "But I need to wait for the perfect time"
"Well, bro, if you need any help, you can always count on your friend on the sidelines," said Vincent
"And who will that be?" asked Jimmy sarcastically
"Awww, Jimmy, don't worry. I will help you all the way," said Vincent, "Well anyway bye!"
"See ya Vincent," said Jimmy
*click*
"ooh Typhlosion, what have I gotten myself into?" asked Jimmy
"Phlosion," said Typhlosion while smirking sinisterly at Jimmy
"Stop, you are scaring me," said Jimmy, then he realized that he was at the front of the line.
"Hello, may I help you," asked a receptionist
"Yes, my name is Jimmy Gold from New Bark Town, and I would like to register for the Silver League"
Yes, a shorter chapter. I am going to try to gradually increase my chap length throughout the story, like I did with Ash's New Adventure. Now, this will be harder to write than Ash's New adventure because there will be contests here and I have no clue how to write those lmao. And the main reason I made this fic is because I can't find any non-one-shot QuestShipping (JimmyxMarina) fics. So, I hope you enjoy this fic. Don't forget to Follow/Fav/Review.
