Question of the chapter: How do you think her throne on Mt. Olympus will look?

AnaMaria's POV

I sighed, glad that the guys had taken a break from practically interrogating me. Apollo had suggested we go for a little swim and I couldn't deny that I was quite excited for it. I jumped at the chance immediately and did not notice Poseidon's grin at my excitement of swimming. They said that they'd meet me at the pool and to take my time. I've been standing on my beautiful room for the past 15 minutes torn between three different swimsuits.

I decided on the polka dot bikini. It fit me perfectly but I couldn't help but feel a bit shy as I normally wear quite baggy clothes as they're super comfy and keep me from getting lots of attention. I sighed quietly, " okay AnaMaria, you can do this!" I headed downstairs; clutching my towel, which had cute little duckies on it, to my front. When I stepped downstairs I could hear their laughter echoing from the open door. I stepped out and smiled shyly, feeling my face heat up from their gazes.

" C'mon little one, the waters warm!" I smiled at D and set my towel down onto a pool chair; completely oblivious to their heated gazes at my exposed skin. I went to the stairs of the pool, keeping my eyes down from my embarrassment.

I looked up, not hearing them at all. I blinked owlishly at their intense gazes taking in my body. " s-should I go change?" Ares shook his head quickly, "Gods no! You look stunning little one." I blushed at his praise. After he said that, I blinked seeing them all shirtless with toned bodies. ' They wanna kill me don't they?! They're too attractive to be real!' I heard a car pull up and looked to the back gate as it opened to reveal another stunning specimen of a male. He was is a suit, obviously returning from a meeting or something equally as important. He looked up and I saw deep blue grey eyes that reminded me vaguely of skies when the storm clouds start to roll in. " and who might you be, young one?" I flushed at his gaze and noticed that he too had an English accent. Poseidon moved to be behind me, his warm, slightly calloused hands placed on my waist to keep me steady as he looked to the male. " She's AnaMaria. We got her today Zeus." The man, Zeus, stared at me for a moment before smiling softly, " welcome dear. I do hope you enjoy it here."

I smiled shyly, nodding. He chuckled softly and walked inside. I suddenly let out a squeal as one of the guys wrapped their arms around my waist, spinning me around in the water. I looked behind me to see it was Apollo. He was grinning broadly, looking down at me in his arms. I smiled up at him, giggling as he spun us around again.

For the next few hours, we all played around in the pool- splashing water at each other, playing water volleyball, and just enjoying the warm water. I got out while they were still messing around, sitting on a chair and grabbing my towel, wrapping it around me as a gust of wind blew by making me shiver. I patted myself dry, rubbed on a bit more sunscreen- don't judge me, I sunburn easy. I set out the towel on the chair before laying on it, letting myself soak in the warmth of the setting sun.

Before long, I started to doze lightly and only blinked myself awake when I realized it was going quiet. I lifted my head up and looked over to see they guys out of the pool and drying off with their own towels. I blushed at the sight of their muscular chests and broad backs. Hermes walked over to me with his usual grin on his face, " ready to head back in?" I nodded and he held out a hand, helping me up. We all headed inside and decided to all take showers and change before dinner.

I sighed, loving the feel of the loose, comfy pajamas and slipped on some cute bunny slippers before heading to the dining room. I blinked shocked to see some of them were still shirtless, but in shorts or pj pants. I flushed slightly as Poseidon got up and led me to the open seat beside him to eat. The food was super yummy! turns out Hermes loves to cook- something that I can relate to as I love cooking and baking. Maybe it won't be bad here for me after all- they have been nothing but kind to me. I want this to be my forever home, for sure.
