Question of the Chapter: How do you think she should dress when on Mt. Olympus?

DAY 1

AnaMaria's POV

After we finished dinner we all decided that it'd be the less overwhelming for me by getting to know them one by one. It was voted by the guys- which was pretty funny mind you- that it'd be Apollo as he adopted me. The others headed upstairs to give us privacy. He turned when he heard me coming down and he smiled at me. " cute pjs dear." I blushed looking down at my slippers. " thanks." He smiled, " you like hot coco? Made some for us." He motioned in front of him as my head shot up. My hazel eyes shined as I grinned widely at the steaming mug of hot coco that was so inviting.

I sat down next to him, kicking off my slippers, and tucking my feet beneath me as I held the mug close to me. I glanced up at him from under my thick dark lashes to see him watching me with an affectionate smile on his handsome, tan face. I took a sip of the drink and moaned in delight. This was by far the best hot chocolate I've ever had.

" I take it you like it, dear." I looked at him, licking my lips, " yup, this is the best hot coco I've had!" He leaned back, " would you like to start asking?" I nodded, " um, what made you want to live with family like this?"

He smiled endearingly, " I love my family. This is a way that we can spend time together after a day of doing our tasks." I smiled, tearing up silently as I wished I had that. " what type of books do you like reading?" I smiled, thinking of all the books I've read. " I go for fantasy or mystery books like Dan Brown or J.R. Ward." He grinned, " those are some good authors." We continued asking back and forth till it was near 10:30 at night. " We should get some rest. Hermes makes some great breakfast so let's get ready for bed. It's been quite a day for all of us."

I nodded in agreement. We finished our drinks and headed to our rooms. He, of course, walked me to room. " Thank you. " He smiled softly, his eyes warm and inviting. " No AnaMaria, thank you. You are a sweet, bright, young lady and I plan on making sure you know this for the rest of your days. Now off to bed, I am not sure what Poseidon has planned for you however I do not want you exhausted. Good night, dear. I hope you like it here." He leaned down and pressed a chaste, warm kiss on my forehead before going to his room.

I stepped into my bedroom, cheeks fiery red. I huffed slightly, shaking my head to clear my thoughts before climbing into bed. I grabbed my panda and cuddled it to me, drifting off and feeling warm for the first time in years.

DAY 2

The next morning I woke in absolute comfort feeling like I was sleeping on a cloud. I sighed, not wanting to get up but a quiet knock on my door disturbed the peace. I watched as the door peeked open and Hermes head peeked through. " Hey there sleepyhead. Any breakfast preference?" I shook my head sleepily. He chuckled and closed the door softly behind him. I got up to get ready for the day with Poseidon, feeling slightly nervous about being with him alone for a whole day.

I put on some blue jean shorts that ended mid-thigh and a white t shirt that had a anchor in deep blue on it. I did not bother with socks as I was feeling hungry, and too sleepy still to go searching for any. I had decided to go without any make up as I was too hungry for it. I stepped into the kitchen, rubbing my eye sleepily as I mumbled a good morning. I heard a few deep chuckles.

I opened my eyes completely and looked to the table to see Ares, Apollo, Poseidon, and Dionysus sitting there in their pjs. I squeaked in surprise, feeling my face heat up as I blushed and looked back down. I heard a chair pull out and saw feet in my view before feeling masculine fingers cupping my chin and lifting my head up. I met beautiful ocean colored eyes and a sweet smile. " good morning, little one."

I blushed, " Morning." He chuckled and pulled me into his arms. I immediately leaned into the warmth and comfort wrapping my smaller arms around his waist and snuggling into his embrace. " told ya she was a cuddler." I heard a light smacking sound resound as Hermes chortled in laughter. " Play nice Hermes!" I looked up at Poseidon and smiled still feeling quite sleepy. " how about some breakfast, hm?"

I nodded my head and he led me to a seat, pulling it out for me and pushing back in as I sat down. " French toast sound good?" I nodded my head sporadically at that. "I love French toast!" They all chuckled at that and soon a plate was placed in front of me. " What would you like to drink dear?" D had asked me that as I was sitting next to him. I looked at his amethyst eyes and asked, " Chocolate milk?" He smiled, amusement clear in his eyes as he nodded. He came back with a tall glass of milk for me and I wiggled in my seat, feeling excitement bubbling inside of me.

I looked over at Poseidon as he sat back down across from me with his cup of coffee, " What are we gonna do today?" He smiled at me, " Whatever you'd like to little one. I want you as comfortable as possible." I nodded and nibbled on the French toast as I thought of a good idea.
" can we explore the woods a bit?" He nodded with a small smile gracing his features. Breakfast was finished with a relaxed atmosphere as a lot of the guys liked to sleep in a bit longer.

Poseidon and I stepped out after he was changed and I had slipped on my low top converse. I took a deep breathe of the crisp morning air and smiled. I loved to take walks when I could at the orphanage so this was a way for me to stay relaxed. He walked beside me in relative peace as well. " Are you liking it so far, Ana?" I looked at him and nodded, " I am. Everyone has been nice so far. It's a lot better than the orphanage. " He wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me against his side to make sure I stayed warm- comforting me at the same time.

" How was it really there?" I frowned a little. " Well the matron would never really get my medication that helped with my depression and anxiety. It doesn't help that the only time she spoke to me was to scold me or yell at me about cleaning or cooking." He frowned and kissed the top of my head in comfort and rubbed my arm a little. " Well you'll never have to deal with her again. That you can be sure of." I smiled and leaned into his touch, " I know. I'm so happy that I got away from there." I looked to the side and gasped as I saw a beautiful pond with a small waterfall trickling down into the pond. " look! It's so pretty!" He chuckled as I went over and crouched down sticking my hand in the water and giggling as fish nibbled on my fingertips.

" Let's head back before you catch a cold." I looked over my shoulder at him and nodded. This day was a good one so far. When we got back Apollo was in the kitchen, " Hey! You have fun sweetie?" I nodded excitedly. " uh huh! We went exploring and I found a pond that had cute little fishies in it. They started to nibble my fingers when I stuck my hand in the water too!"
He chuckled at my beaming smile. " What would you like for lunch?" This was a hard question. I shrugged nonchalantly. "It doesn't matter to me. As long as there is no blueberries or sweet potatoes as I am allergic to those." He nodded, " grilled cheese sound good then?" I started to bounce on the balls of my feet as I chanted 'yes!' He and Poseidon laughed at my excitement.
We had a yummy lunch and Poseidon and I went upstairs to a room that I didn't see yesterday.

" Where are we going now?" Poseidon smiled down at my curious eyes. " This room is one Hermes and Ares have worked on all morning." I tilted my head in confusion. He opened the cream colored door and I gasped as I stepped in. It was a large room with a huge amount of books. There were floor to ceiling shelves filled with books lining the walls. In the corner was a cozy chair with a leg rest sitting by the fireplace.

There was one wall with floor to ceiling windows and the curtains were tied back. There were cushioned seats lining the bottom so if someone wanted to sit there they could. " Why'd they work all morning on this for?" He chuckled and ruffled my short hair. " They did this for you, little one." I spun around looking at him in shock. " r-really?!" He nodded as tears welled in my eyes. I sniffled softly and rubbed at my eyes; trying to get rid of the tears building up in them. He sat down on one of the cushions by the window and patted a spot next to him for me to sit down as well.

" They did this for you sweetheart. Hermes told all the others that you love to read so they wanted to give you something. This is their housewarming gift to you." I still couldn't believe it and hopped up to browse the shelves. " There are so many I haven't read yet!" He chuckled at my excited squeal. I looked out the window to the sun was starting to set. " Has that much time passed already?" He nodded and held out his hand for me to take.

I grasped it and we headed down to the dining room to have dinner. The table was pretty full from all the guys already sitting down. Poseidon pulled out a seat for me by himself and Hades and pushed it in once I sat. I turned to Hermes and Ares, " Thank you very much for the library. It's stunning and I can't wait to read all the books." They both laughed heartily, " Well take your time with those books dear. They aren't going anywhere." I giggled softly and nodded.

Dinner was full of laughter between all the guys and I thoroughly enjoyed the playful banter between Hermes and Dionysus. Hades leaned back in his seat, holding a glass of red wine as I was sipping on sparkling apple juice. " How are you enjoying everything?" I turned to him and smiled, " I love it so far! It's much better than the orphanage." He smirked and ruffled my hair as I pouted.

After dinner I slipped into the kitchen to see Thanatos cleaning up the dishes. " Is there stuff for baking as well?" He turned to me and nodded. " of course, we like to have quite a variety of cooking equipment and supplies. Do you like to bake, AnaMaria?" I nodded happily. " yup! There is a cute little café run by an elderly couple who taught me. I'd go there after school and they would teach me how to bake different things." He smiled at that, " I'm sure that your baking is exquisite. You'll have to make something for us sometime, little dove."

I flushed at the nickname he gave me. I nodded and slipped out to go to the library to search through some cookbooks I found earlier to see if there are good recipes I could try. That is how Poseidon found me. " There you are! Apollo and I have been looking for you." I looked up at him and smiled, " sorry, I was looking for some baking recipes I wanna make. I was taught how to bake by this sweet elderly couple in a café that is down the street from the orphanage and I was telling Thanatos about it. I wanna bake more."

He chuckled at my excitement at baking lots. " Well why don't you get some rest, tomorrow you'll be able to hang out with Hermes." I nodded and closed the books, putting them back on the shelves and heading to my room. I closed the door and quickly skipped into the closet, grabbing some pjs and headed into the bathroom. I took a nice bubble bath, washing myself with some vanilla scented body wash. When I finished up I got up, drying myself off with a fluffy cream colored towel before sitting at my vanity and grabbing my lotion. Sometimes, I hate how easily my skin dries.

I rubbed on my lotion, Tahiti Island Dream, and sighed. My skin felt so nice now! I then slid on my pjs, they were a cute soft pink color. The top was similar to a crop top with a cinched waist with a bow tied neatly in the front.

Once dressed, I padded into my room, going over to the LED light and setting the brightness level to 25% on a soft green color and crawling into bed. I fell asleep quickly, excited for the next day.
