Sonic and Dash: Five Worlds Collide

Sonic the Hedgehog/MLPFiM/TLoS/Pokemon crossover. Sonic is back on a whole new adventure to our world as he and his friends find the 7 Chaos Emeralds from falling gman's evil hands. This time they're going to need all the help they can get for this battle as worlds collide and heroes must unite. It's a whole new adventure like nothing you ever seen.

4. Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Waking the Dragons;

Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida at NASA's Headquarters United States of America; Time: 10:59 A.M. Eastern Time; Year: 2026;

After arriving at the mess hall and getting the gowns off them. Shining and Rainbow Dash were eating and they liked the food. There was fruit like apples, pears, oranges, and many other rip picked fruit and along with vegetables like a horse's favorite carrots, broccoli, squash, and spinach. Also the 2 were hungry for sure especially Rainbow. Dash went through 5 apples in 5 minutes without choking. Shining was taking his time eating so he wouldn't choke unlike Rainbow who was eating her 6th apple.

Alice was siting on the other side of the table watching the 2 eat. Beside Alice were 2 other women and two 2 men who were comrades from her days in the U.S.A. Army. They were astonished by the rate that the two Equestrians were eating at. Well Dash for the most part as she was eating as fast as Pinkie Pie. Then Alice said to Dash with a confused look, "Uh Dash you know your going to choke if you keep eating that fast."

Dash swallowed a bite of her apple and looked at Alice and replied with embarrassed smile, "Oh sorry Alice heh. Guess I'm pretty hungry besides I've hadn't had any food since I was knocked out."

Then Alice said to her with a smile after finished taking a bite out of her own food, "You 2 were knocked out for 3 days. No wonder your this hungry."

Then Shining said to Alice with a flat look, "Yeah I know. My sister has to put up with her everyday."

Then Rainbow asked Alice on about the lavender alicorn pony that was still in the OR, "Hey Alice I was wondering. When is Twilight going to be out from her translator procedure?"

Then Alice replied to Rainbow with a wondering look on her face, "I don't know maybe in a couple of hours. When we implanted the translator on your brain Rainbow it took around 5 hours. Trust me it was pretty messy work, but it's worth while."

Rainbow and Shining looked at each other as they wondered how was Twilight doing right now. However; they didn't know two other worlds was about to make its self known to Earth. Along with a blue hero that has a taste for danger, speed, and adventure. Even two dragons that saved their world from destruction by an evil force.

With Twilight;

Meanwhile Twilight was in a peaceful deep sleep as her translator procedure was going perfectly smoothly. The human brain surgeons were implanting the translator on her brain so she can communicate with humans and so far no problems had came up. One of the surgeons was monitoring her vital sighs and her breathing making sure Twilight was okay.

Next to the operating table that Twilight was sleeping on was anesthesia machine was supplying oxygen through a black anesthesia mask that was strapped around Twilight's head and on her muzzle. The breathing bag on the anesthesia machine was inflating and deflating each time Twilight inhaled and exhaled. It was a good thing they decided to sedated Twilight for the procedure or she would fell a truck load of pain and agony.

On the same side of the anesthesia machine was the pulse monitor and was making the usual beeping sound it made when it was hooked up to someone well somepony in Twilight's case. The monitor was monitoring Twilight's heart rate and blood pressure on its screen and so far she was stable, also her brain activity was being monitored as well which was also stable. The monitor that was reading Twilight's brain activity showed steady brainwaves and her mind was still active even though after being put under anesthesia. She was also dreaming from the medicine that she was breathing in.

But what she was about see in her dream was something she won't believe. She was about to get glimpse of another world beyond Earth. Also she was about see the same blue pegasus stallion that Shining and Rainbow saw in their dreams too. But also something that is hidden on Earth that crashed landed on planet 2 years ago.

Location: Twilight's Subconscious;

In her subconscious mind Twilight floated in a black empty void with nothing around her. It was like Twilight was floating in water without the water. Twilight was wearing the same gown that Rainbow & Shining had on when they had their procedures done on them. Then a small beam of light shined on Twilight as she opened her eyes and saw a hole filled with light ahead of her and started floating towards the light. As she got closer to the hole a bright blue streak raced by the hole faster than the speed of sound. When Twilight went through the hole she was blinded by a white light.

Then seconds later Twilight opened her eyes and found herself at a strange temple like alter with 7 colorful Emeralds on stone pedestals. In the center of the pedestals at the main alter was a large green emerald glowing with a unknown power that she never felt before in her life. Twilight walked up the steps to the alter where the large green emerald was. Then when Twilight got close to the big emerald she heard a unfamiliar female voice echoing around her saying, "The seven servers are the seven chaos. The controller is in charge of unifying the chaos."

Twilight was confused about what the voice she just heard said. Questions flew around her head and wondering who were these 7 servers. Then she thought to herself when she looked at the 7 colorful emeralds on the pedestals, 'Was that voice talking about these 7 Emeralds on those pedestals?'

Suddenly, all 7 emeralds started to glow in respective colors along with the big green emerald which glowed brighter than the smaller emeralds. Twilight was quickly blinded from the growing light and in seconds the whole area was absorbed in the flash of green light. Then the light changed to bright blue as she saw a pegasus stallion standing in the light and started walking towards Twi as the details of the stallion came into view and it was the same exact stallion from both Shining's and Rainbow's dreams. The stallion gave a smile and in a blue streak he created tornado from out of nowhere and sent Twilight into the air as the twister picked her up and spun her around and around as bright blue colored flash came.

The next thing Twilight knew was that she was in a cave of some kind and it was quite large too. There was no ground entrance into this huge cavern, but she did see a deep lake of water which was part of underwater cave system and had appeared to be light shining not far off in the distance. But then at the corner of her eye Twi spotted something purple in the distance in front of her.

Without thinking she started walking towards the purple object which got closer and she could see something inside the object like a figure with wings. Twilight then thought to herself as she got closer to the purple object, 'What is that up ahead anyway? Some kind of crystal?'

A few minutes later Twi was at the purple object and her theory on being a crystal was correct. But what was inside of the crystal shocked her big time. Inside the crystal were two dragons one was what appeared to be a female dragon that had dark bluish grey scales that was almost black with a ruby underbelly, a tail-blade and blades on her wing carpals that appeared to be artificial implanted in her body, big wings with ruby membranes, six silver-white horns on her head, two platinum bracers on her wrists, a platinum choker on her neck, another pair of bracers on her tail, and strange symbols that Twilight didn't recognize on the dragon's forehead, back, shoulders, and around its eyes. The dragon had her eyes closed and was watching the second dragon who had its wings open and was in the center of the crystal.

The second dragon which was the one that caught Twilight's attention was in the center of the crystal. The dragon's scales were purple with a yellow underbelly, two yellow horns on his head, yellow head crests in the center of its head, yellow spikes that were on the back of its head to its back, a yellow drill like tail end of its tail, and peach colored wing membranes. Twi could tell this dragon was special and could tell they weren't from this world or Terra, but a world beyond.

Then the crystal started to glow in a bright purple light and made Twi shield her eyes from the intensity of the light. Then Twilight's mind fell into a deep white void as her mind started to wake up just before that she heard a female voice that she never heard before say something to someone quietly as it echoed through the void, "I love you… Spyro…"

Back in Reality; Time: 9:41 P.M. Eastern Time;

As Twilight started to wake up a constant ringing came into her ears as she was slowly waking up. At first the ringing in her ears prevented Twilight from hearing anything. Then slowly the ringing was starting to disappear she started hearing sounds like beeping and also muffled voices. As her hearing started getting clearer Twilight heard a unfamiliar male voice echoing through her hearing, "Twilight is starting to wake up!"

Then another voice came and it sounded female as it said, "Twilight can you hear us?"

Then a another voice came and it was a another male voice and said, "She's still waking up Emily. Grant how are her vitals so far?"

Slowly the bright light started to fade away as Twilight opened her eyes gradually also she could hear her own breathing too and sounded like it came from a mask. Then Twilight heard a male voice saying, "Her heart rate is starting to reach normal readings. Her breathing looks good so far too. From all the data her vitals Twilight is in stable condition."

Then the male voice said in reply to the voice that just spoke, "That's excellent news Grant. Remember everyone we don't want to frighten or startle her since she's on our planet. We need to keep her calm."

Then Twilight saw about 6 shadows of beings looking down at her and they were the ones talking. As Twilight's sight cleared up regaining color and sharpness she saw the beings above her. They were wearing dark green surgical gowns wearing surgical masks along with surgical caps and they were humans! There were surgical lights behind them and Twilight's eyes went with shock and realized that she was in an operating room! Twilight noticed a long black latex anesthesia mask on her muzzle and was strapped on by a harness around her head. Then Twilight started to breath faster as she became frightened and started to panic. Noticing this one of the surgeons pulled the lever up slowly for valve for the anesthetic gas they used to put Twilight to sleep with, but it was a small amount so they can get her to calm down.

Then one of the surgeons started rubbing her head said to her as Twilight started to panic, "Twilight it's okay! We're not trying to hurt you! Just calm down!"

Twilight was in shock she heard the Human speak to her in human language and she can understand it. The humans around her weren't wanting to cause harm to her. But they were trying to get her calm down since she was frightened and also knew her name too. Slowly she started to calm down as the anesthetic calmed her down as all the panic left her. The lever for the anesthetic was pulled down as the valve closed and Twilight was breathing pure oxygen from her mask now.

Twilight's breathing started to slow down and return to normal as she started breathing normally. Then Twilight took in her surroundings as her vision got back to 100%. She was in a operating room just like Rainbow and Shining were in, but the one that she was in was more high tech and was made for different species in mind. Twilight thought to herself, 'Where am I? Why am I in a operating room with humans?'

Then one of the human surgeons untied the top part of the surgical mask leaving the bottom part still tied and pulled the mask down showing a male human in his earlier 20s. Then a kind smile came onto his face Twilight figured out that she wasn't in any danger and the human said, "Here Twilight let me get that mask off your muzzle."

Then the human's gloved right hand came to the straps on the anesthesia mask that covered Twilight's muzzle. Then he started to unhook the straps of the head harness from the right side then the left side of the mask. Then he pulled the mask off and revealing Twilight's lavender colored muzzle. Twilight took a deep breath and exhaled also coughed a little from breathing in oxygen from a tank for hours.

Then the human looked to the left at one his coworkers and said, "Hey Adison think you help me get the restraints off Twilight's body?"

The human that the man talked to then replied saying to him, "Sure thing Tony."

While the other humans left the room leaving the room the other 2 that were still in the operating room helped Twilight get the restraints off her legs, body, and tail. Twilight had so many questions in her head as the 2 humans unrestrained her body. The 2nd human took of his surgical mask too and revealed to be a another male human around 23 years old.

They undid the restraints and Twilight used some of her remaining strength to get into a sitting position. She looked around the room and looked at the 2 humans and the 22 year old man then asked, "How do you feel Twilight?"

Twilight was still confused about what was happening and how did the humans knew her name. She didn't know where she was too and was she the only one here. The lavender alicorn soon responded to the human's question and said, "Where am I and who are you?"

Then the human said with a smile understanding Twilight was very confused and wanted answers, "Ok my name is Tony. I'm a US military combat medic and surgeon. The man behind me is my best friend Adison. We know each other since boot camp. For where you are is…well your on a another planet. Planet Earth."

Twilight's eyes went wide with shock and excitement. She was the first Equestrian princess to go to a another world in space and also make contact with another alien race. This was something that she didn't believe was possible. First the existence of humans turned out to be actual fact, second they had more advanced technology than what Equestrians believed they had in the stories, and finally she was on their home planet and talking to one of them. She was going full egghead mode she felt like her head was going burst, but she was able to control her excitement and before long she calmed down.

Tony was relieved that Twilight didn't go crazy since he heard from Alice when Shining told her about Twi and at times the lavender alicorn can sometimes get out of hand especially learning new things. Then Tony said to Twilight, "Ok with that done let's get that gown off you."

Twilight nodded in agreement as Addison went to the other side of the table and started to untie the strings that was holding the gown on Twilight. Soon as that was done Addison pulled the gown off Twi revealing her lavender coat and wings. The smart alicorn looked over herself to see everything was in check and so far nothing looked damaged or out of place on her body.

Then Tony said to her as Twi finished up looking over her body, "Come on Twilight let's gets some food in you. I bet your starving after being knocked out that long."

Twilight nodded and replied back to Tony with a smile, "Yeah! I could really go for some food!"

15 Minutes later in the Mess Hall;

When Twilight reached the mess hall she started eating on 5 apples, 3 freshly cut peaches, and some nicely picked and fresh strawberries and everyone was watching her eat like no tomorrow. Tony was there too and had changed into his US army uniform as he watched the alicorn eat her first meal since two days ago. He was quite surprised at Twilight's apatite for food since she was sedated for a long time as she finished her last apple and threw the apple cord into the trash can along with the rest of the apple cords from the apples she ate. Then she rubbed her belly and said with a blissful grin on her face, "Now that hit the spot."

Then one of Tony's coworkers who was male and came from the US Air Force was sitting next to Tony and Twilight said with shock and amazement, "Man… that's fastest rate that I seen anyone eat that fast!"

Everyone at the table nodded in agreement and hoped she didn't barf up her food after eating that fast. Then Tony asked Twilight as she rubbed her filled stomach, "Your full now Twilight?"

Twilight looked at Tony nodded and said to him, "Oh yeah I am. I'm going to be sleeping like a bear tonight."

Tony giggled and said in agreement, "Yeah I'm sure your gonna be. I would be like that if I didn't have any food to eat for two days after being in a deep sleep."

Twilight was about to say something to the human when the two heard a female voice from behind them, "Well… guess I was right about Twilight's procedure being done early."

The two looked behind them and saw Alice with Shining and Rainbow looking at the duo. Twilight was surprised to see Rainbow and Shining here on Earth. Shining was glad to see Twilight was alright and she was back to being herself again as he said to her, "Hey sis heard you got out early."

Twilight had her mouth opened and then said with confusion, "Shining? Rainbow? What are you two doing here?!"

Rainbow rubbed her head with her right foreleg and said to Twilight, "Well that's a long story Twi."

So Shining and Dash told Twilight all about Earth observing Terra from space and wanted to make contact with them and they were brought to Earth by advanced spacecraft that the US had developed for outer space exploration to solar systems beyond Earth's solar system. They told her about the advanced translators that Alice and the medical teams implanted on them to allow Equestrians to understand human speech and writing. Twilight was amazed at what she was hearing and made her realize that the human race was much more advanced than she thought they were in the beginning.

Then Alice looked at Tony with a smile and said to him, "Had any trouble with Twilight during the procedure Tony?"

Tony shook his head and said back to Alice with a grin, "Not at all. Heard you were able to calm down one of our Equestrian guests when you were doing a small checkup on her."

Dash was surprised that Alice and Tony knew each other even Shining and Twilight were too as she asked Alice, "You two know each other?"

Tony nodded at Rainbow and said to her with a grin, "Yeah. We've been best friends ever since we were just kids from elementary school and even up to when we joined the Army after we got out of college."

Alice then added by saying to the Equestrians, "And we were in the same platoon too. I was the team's medical officer while Tony here was the team's special weapons officer and sniper."

Shining shocked at what he heard and since he was the captain of the royal guard in Cantalot he knew their new friends had military backgrounds as he asked them, "Both of you were in the military?!"

Tony nodded and said to the white stallion, "Yeah and we still in active duty. Just not right now since we're part of the space program as astronauts."

Rainbow was blown away by this and just said with only one word, "Awesome…"

Then Twilight let out a loud yawn as she stretched her forelegs up and felt pretty tired from the medical procedure that she just came out of earlier. Tony just chuckled at this and said to Alice, "I think we better get these three to bed. They need to have some rest after all they been through today."

Alice nodded in agreement and said to Tony, "Yeah and besides it's getting late too so I guess it's time to hit the hay for all of us."

Tony nodded and said to Shining, Rainbow, and Twilight, "Come on you three let's get you to bed."

After he said that Tony got up from the lunch table walked towards the nearest door with Alice not far behind with Shining, Rainbow, and a tired Twilight to their sleeping quarters. The walk wasn't very far as they went down two different hallways and arrived at three doors on the right side of the hall. Alice then said to the trio from Terra, "Well here we are your rooms you'll be sleeping in while your here on Earth."

Rainbow looked at the three doors and wondered which one was her room. Then she asked Tony and Alice with a confused look, "Uh which one is mine anyway?"

Tony looked at her said to the pegasus pony, "Your room is the one in the center Dash. Shining's room is the one the left and Twilight's room is the one on the right."

Dash nodded as Tony opened the door by pulling down the door handle and pushed the door open as she went inside her room and said to them, "See you guys in the morning."

After she said that Tony closed the door behind her as the automatic lock activated preventing anyone from outside the room to open the door. Only the occupant inside the room could open the door. Then Alice opened the door to Shining's room as the white unicorn stallion looked at Twilight and said to her with a smile, "See you in the morning Twily."

Twilight smiled back and replied to him, "You too Shining."

With that Shining walked into his room and Alice gently closed the door behind him as the automatic lock mechanism activated. Then Alice said to Tony and Twilight, "Well I'm off to bed too. Goodnight you two."

Then Tony and Twilight said to Alice at the same time, "Goodnight Alice."

Alice then walked down the hall and headed for her sleeping quarters while Tony opened the door to Twilight's room and Twi and Tony himself walked inside the room. Twi look around with amazement as the room had a large window with curtains open and outside was a beautiful night sky as Earth's moon shines brightly at night. Twilight could also see the rest of NASA's facility and the Floridan swamp lands and the Atlantic Ocean that it was next to gave a picturesque view of the sea. The room also had a TV, a single bed for Twi, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower that were specially designed for Equestrian needs. Tony smiled at Twi's facial expression on her face and said to her, "Impressed?"

Twilight looked back at him and nodded in agreement and said, "Yeah! I'm greatly impressed."

Tony just smiled in agreement as Twilight got into her room's bed which was pretty comfy. Now knowing it was his turn to head to bed and headed for the door of Twi's room until Twilight then said to him, "Um… Tony."

Tony stopped and looked back at the lavender alicorn and said to her, "What is it Twilight?"

Twilight had a unsure look on her face and Tony knew something was on her mind and wondered what could it be. Then Twi said him with a stumped and confused tone, "Can I talk to you about something? Please."

Tony nodded and said to her with a smile, "Sure thing Twilight."

So Tony walked back to Twilight's bed and sat down in the chair next to her and then said to her, "So what do you to talk to me about?"

Twilight then said to him with the same unsure look on her face, "It's about a strange dream I had during my surgery."

Tony gained at confused look on his now and said to Twilight, "A strange dream?"

Twilight nodded in reply and Tony had a concerned look on his face now and decided to ask her what was her dream about. Then he asked her, "What was your like anyway and tell me why it was strange to you?"

So Twilight told Tony all about her unexplained dream she had in her sleep. Although it wasn't much information since Twilight didn't know what happened in the vision she had, but it had something to do with the seven strange colorful emeralds and the large green emerald she saw in that temple and the stallion she saw in the dream and the strange purple crystal that had those two dragons inside of it at the end of her dream. Tony knew dreams could tell the future or the past or even be omens of things to come. Earth was about to be drawn into the enteral struggle between good and evil.
