Author's POV
Hey, Buggettes and Kitties! I know it's short, but next chapter will make up for it. I promise.
Ladybug's POV
Before I headed off to the villain, I paused the game. I made my bed look like I was in it sleeping.
Then, I went to find the villain. You'll never guess who it was. Lila!
"Lila…" At this point I wouldn't be surprised if she was working with Hawk Moth.
Cat Noir showed up. "Hey, M'lady."
"Hey, Cat Noir…" I realized then how raspy my voice was. "I'm going to star-"
"Don't talk."
"But, how am I going to use my power if I can't talk?"
"Exactly. Save your voice for that."
I nodded. And I have to say it really helped. By the time I used my powers, my voice was a lot better!
We defeated the villain, but when I yelled, "Miraculous Ladybug," it really took it out on my voice. When I told Cat Noir bye, I was so hoarse you could barely hear me.
Marinette's POV
When I got back to my room and transformed, Tikki and I continued to play Smash Bros until I fell asleep. Tikki turned it to sleep mode and put it on the charger.
When I woke up, I tried to say good morning to Tikki, but my voice was completely gone! I put on makeup so Mom and Dad couldn't see that I was still sick.
I sneezed five times on my way to school, only they sounded weird because I had no voice.
"Hey, girl!" Alya said when she saw me. "You look a lot better!"
I sneezed and she looked very concerned and confused. "I lost my voice and put on makeup," I texted her.
"Hey, girls!" Adrien. "Marinette! You look a lot better!" I sneezed again. He put on the same look as Alya. "Um, what was that?"
"I lost my voice and put on makeup," I texted him. "And that was a sneeze. It sounded weird because I lost my voice."
He looked as if he just realized something, then pulled me somewhere private. "This is bad. What if there's an akuma attack?"
"Then I'll transform," I texted.
"How? You have no voice!"
I hadn't realized that! But, I had an idea.
