Marinette had been making dinner for their anniversary of meeting each other and when Adrien hadn't stepped through the door at 6.30 pm sharp she started panicking. He was never late. Never.

She'd picked up her phone and called the office immediately. No answer. She'd tried again, and again, and again. When suddenly a notification pops up on her phone.

Accident In Major Fashion Company Gabriel Fashions

Marinette grabbed her keys off the counter and sprinted out the door slamming it closed behind her, to her car. As soon as her keys were in the ignition she flew down the streets.

In minutes she was at the last turn to Gabriel Fashions. Only there were Police and ambulances blocking the street. She pulled over and jumped out of her car, running up to the nearest police officer.

"Excuse me Mame we can't let you pass."

Marinette shook her head, hands shaking, "What happened? My husband is there please let me in. I have to see him." She says quickly.

The officer only shakes her head, "I'm sorry miss but we can't divulge that information yet and we aren't allowed to let anyone through."

Marinette looks at the officer, tears pooling in her eyes.

"Please, what's happened there? I want to know if my husband is ok," she asks desperately.

The officer shakes her head again, "I'm really sorry miss, but I can't. Listen if you wait over near your car I'll send an officer over when the information is allowed to the public." The officer explains.

"Officer, please. My husband is there. I can't sit by while-" As Marinette pleads with the officer she notices a blonde head come out of the Fashion Building. On a stretcher.

"Adrien" she whispers, "Oh god no, Adrien!" she lifts her hand up to her mouth in utter horror.

Marinette looks back over to the officer, "Please let me through, I have to see him. Please he's my husband, please let me through. He's- oh god-" she stammers tears streaming down her face, a sob racking her body.

The officer looks at her then glances over her shoulder at what the hysterical lady in front of her is looking at. Her eyes soften.

"I'm not supposed to let you in honey. I'm sorry…" the officer looks back over to Marinette a soft smile pulling at her lips," Listen, I'll make sure he's ok. Go home and get some rest, you'll be notified by the police when he's at the hospital."

Marinette shakes her head no.

"I have to see him now. Please let me through." she sobs.

The officer shakes her head.

Marinette closes her eyes and sits down on the curb, letting the sobs tear through and the tears fall down her face.
