This Lifestyle Is Making Me Ill.

It'd been two days since the couple had abandoned the beybladers and things were starting to get unbearable for Pearl. The blonde couldn't cope with the run down cheap skate hotels anymore in Russia, Kai seemed to be okay, but he was quickly losing his patients about finding this team.

Although just when the Russian bluenette thought things were becoming ridiculous, something else came into the frame. Pearl's deteriorating health. The Liberty beyblader walked out the bathroom looking pale and lifeless than normal.

"Whats up with you?" The Ex-Bladebreaker captain snarled in such a foul mood, sat on the sofa with his arms folded.

"I don't know." The American girl answered and leaned against the doorframe weakly. First it was her injury, now her immune system. "I can't do this anymore. Running around after these bastards."

He rolled his eyes and shrugged. "Since when does health get in the way of your ambitions?" Kai asked coldly. Everything was starting to irritate him at the moment, her health was damaging their training as well as their travel. They couldn't go 100 yards without the blonde wanting to be sick.

Asshole – Pearl huffed and sat down beside him. To only watch within the corner of her chestnut brown eye him shifting away. Typical of him, only because he didn't want to catch her stomach bug. "You wait till you catch this. You'll be the one over reacting then." Everyone knows that men are worse than women at reacting to illnesses.

"I bet." Kai then raised an eyebrow. "If its that bad. You'd have screamed for a doctor by now."

"I'm about to start that process Kai." Pearl smiled faintly and placed her hands over her stomach carefully. It felt so tight and bubbly. "Ready…"

"Oh Pearl stop."

She giggled slightly at his reaction. The girl loved to get on his nerves, but that didn't mean he didn't get on hers either. "Wheres the nearest doctors Kai?" The blonde asked uneasily, with her heavy head spinning.

"In town. But you're on your own." The Russian Ex-Bladebreaker captain snarled and picked up his bag full of beyblade gear. "I got business to attend to."

Rolling her chestnut brown eyes at his unpredictable behaviour, Pearl forced him to call a taxi and then watched the loner walked out the door with such a determined expression written all over his pale face. "Bye?" There he was, gone. No kiss, or even a bu-bye.

Sitting there staring at the new replacement on the team, the new Bladebreaker team leader bit his bottom lip and slouched sulkishly. He was disgusted with the injustice in this situation, the champion for the first time in a long time, couldn't speak a single syllable.

But the tension in the atmosphere was about to get even worse the minute Hilary stepped into the front room. She gazed at the two competitive beybladers and sighed heavily. "So Michelle, how do you feel about joining us?" The brunette asked, trying to sooth everything down for the sake of everyones maturity.

Who would want to travel this far with a welcome like this?

"Its only a temporary adjustment. But I am flattered if I must be honest with you. Mr Dickinson insisted that more women should be involved in the beyblading side of things. So here I am."

The way she fluttered her eyelashes and pouted her lipglossed lips as she spoke – Was a whole new language to Hilary. If anything, the team manager just stared at her make up filled eyes. Sensing the sly and confidence flaring from her model like figure.

Was this jealousy!? Don't show it Hilary for goodness sake!

But within the corner of her eyes, Hilary watched an amused grin appear over Tyson's dry lips. It was the type of grin that Kai would pull when he was up to something dangerous and harsh. "Well, its lovely to finally meet you properly. Last time, we never really got to say hi." She blinked blankly in a confused expression.

This was all because you left so quickly when Kai was done with you. Wait! Does this mean that Michelle is out to get her own back now? Oh dear…

"Thank you Hilary. I have a feeling we are going to get on great." The tanned girls attention then turned back to the riled champion. She stroked her fingers alongside the arm of the chair seductively. "So, is your beyblade match still open for a newbie?"

That's when it Tyson stood up from the chair and shrugged. "I never turn down a match. But I'm busy training Michelle." The dark haired male then walked out the room with his head low. He truly was concerned about what was coming. His title was on the line!

"Training? What a great idea Granger." And with that, Michelle followed him outside with her beyblade and launcher in her luxurious purse. "Allow me to join you."

Not really stable at this moment after the news of the doctor, the blonde girl sitting on the park swing just went numb. All her senses just died inside out the minute the expert announced what was wrong with her. Suddenly, Pearl couldn't hear the sound of the children practising their beyblade skills. Suddenly she couldn't register the wind brushing against her pale skin.

But she did notice figures approaching her with either notebooks, pens and beyblades. "Shit." The blonde gulped and shuck her head. Ignoring the stomach twisting sensation dwelling in her stomach, the newbie in the beyblade industry jumped off the swing and began to plan her route back to the hotel.

Fame was starting to finally take its toll. People were harassing her. Chasing her and even calling her name twenty four seven. This was the last thing Pearl wanted at a moment like this!

Back at the hotel Kai was already there with dinner prepared on the table. He was at the table nibbling on his. But when he watched his exhausted girlfriend walk through the door, the Hiwatari raised an eyebrow.

She was gasping for air and her cheeks were red filled. "What were you running from?" He asked calmly, preparing himself for anything.

Wiping her forehead before removing her leather jacket, the American sat down at the table beside him with a coca-cola can in her hands. "Fans. It seems that I'm finally famous." She answered and looked down at the food before her. It was Pearls favourite take-away once again, but today. She just couldn't stomach it.

That reminded her when she shifted her chestnut brown eyes from the food, to the curious looking Russian sitting opposite her. How will she tell him about the news? And about the fact everything could come crashing down within the spill of a sentence?

"You'll get used to it after a while. It is irritating." Kai spoke bluntly and placed a fork full of food into his mouth. But even he felt like throwing up due to the tension of the atmosphere being so uncomfortable and off putting. "What did the doctor say anyways?"

He could sense it, the disappointment – Just by looking at her face, the bluenette knew she was bottling something up. Even asking that question made the girls eyes well up with tears.
