Love The Way You Lie
.A Free Trip To Greece.
It was just one thing after another in the Bey world. Kai suddenly was hammered by everyone to respond to his ex-girlfriends interview, meanwhile the PPA Allstarz were provoking one another 24/7 on social media until the deadline had arrived. It was all quite amusing to keep up to date with, especially as Pearl didn't have anything better to do since she had stepped back from The Bladebreakers.
"Guess what!?" Hilary's voice could be heard down the phone. "Thanks to Mr Dickinson, I have got us all tickets to go and watch their match. I have just checked online to see where our seats are located, and they're front row. How exciting is that?"
An insecure smile smeared across Pearl's glossed lips and she lowered her eyes to gaze down to her nails. She'd just painted them blue and she was impatiently waiting for them to dry so she could continue re-arranging her apartment.
"You'll love it, Hilary. I hope you all enjoy yourselves." The blonde answered and lightly blew onto her hands to rush the drying process. "Send me some pictures, won't you?"
There was a slight pause and this concerned both of the girls. Pearl then shifted her head back to her mobile phone that was sat beside her on her dressing table. "Are you still there? Did you hear me-?"
"Yes, I heard you." Snapped the Bladebreaker manager. "I just think that this is so unlike you. Are you avoiding us because Kai is coming with us?"
Again, there was another pause.
"I'll take that as a yes."
"It's not that." Pearl swallowed the last of the saliva in her mouth, "I've had my warning and I don't intend to push my luck anymore. I mean, did you see what chaos I caused at Tyson's part?"
The sound of a chuckle cooed down the phone. "Maybe it was chaotic. But look how everything has turned out. So perhaps you should just ignore Kai and come along with us to see how it all ends because we want you to join us." Hilary explained in a dominant tone. She was no longer asking Pearl to 'tag along' anymore, the manager was implying that Pearl WILL join them on their trip to Greece.
"I can see why you're the team manager. Honestly, I don't know how you do it sometimes." Pearl sighed with her smile growing less artificial. "But fine, I will meet you in Greece."
"Meet us there?" Hilary repeated sarcastically, "Pearl, we are picking you up tomorrow morning-"
"Noooo." Pearl's heart fluttered with surprise and she rose up from her dressing table. "You're winding me up."
"And by the way, you better watch out for Daichi, he wants to challenge you because he wants to know if his replacement was worth his place in the team. Anyway! Enough about all that, you better get packing. See you in the morning!"

Stunned by the sound of silence, Pearl bit down onto her lower lip and growled. "I hate it when she does this to me." The brown eyed girl then gazed down to her nails to notice that she'd smudged one of them from carelessly flapping away from her dressing table.
'Fuck my life.'~
At this moment in time, there was only one thing that Pearl could be distracted with, a notification on her phone that came from someone that she couldn't bare – Kai's 'five minute' ex-girlfriend, Michelle.
'I got your number from an old teammate of yours. Do you have five minutes to talk? I heard that he has destroyed you and your career.'~
Once Pearl had processed this message, it took her every ounce of strength to refrain from giving Michelle a piece of her mind. She just couldn't bare a snake, but after seeing how much Michelle's television debut had damaged Kai over the past few days, Pearl didn't really want to be associated with the lone-wolf. His karma had finally bitten him on the arse and Pearl loved that.
Pearl shrugged and swiped across to hide the message. But when she picked up her phone to place it into her jean pockets, it vibrated in her palms to indicate that she'd received another message from someone.
"Michelle-" Pearl froze when she read who it was from, "Johnny?"
'You owe me a rematch.'~
"Pearl! Give me a match! Right here, right now!"
"No." Sharply answered the girl as she refused to look at the window which Daichi was screaming from. "And don't ask me again, either."
"Why?!"
"Because we're going to the airport, you idiot." Hilary bounced her fist on Daichi's head to knock some sense into him. She was sat behind him on the bus. "Give the girl a break, everyone wants a piece of her lately."
Teasingly, Max whistled and encouraged his blonde friend to sit beside him on the bus mini bus. "I want a piece of her. Come and sit next to me." He encouraged in a playful tone, before they exchanged a laugh between them.
Pearl threw her suitcases into the holders and she then gazed around the bus to greet everyone with a calm smile. Secretly, the girl was delighted to see them all again. Her mind would feel at ease in their presence.
Yet when her eyes met Kai's figure who was hiding at the back of the bus, Pearl just shrugged and scooted through the margin to sit beside Max.
"i didn't think you'd come. But Hilary said she would get you to come along." Tyson peeped up from behind them in the chair, "Did she nag you to death?"
"Hilary doesn't nag. She's just good at being persuasive." Pearl corrected playfully and adjusted her sunglasses. "Besides, who will pass on a free trip to Greece to watch The PPA Allstarz and The Majestics scrap? Not me."
A loud 'hn' was then heard from the back of the bus and this made Ray nudge Kai. "Hold it together." He prompted in a mature tone, "Because you won't win."
"I never said this was a game." Kai murmered to his teammate and crossed his arms sulkishly across his chest, "But if it is, I won't lose."
