Nightfall, usually a time everyone went to sleep.

But this was the night for war games. Guam had been a USA army base location for years and the time had come again for American forces to test their weapons, firing at pretend enemy forces.

Even soldiers aboard the USA battleship Wyoming were loading the bullets into their guns, nothing spooky was coming. The night was quiet, but the peace would not last very long though...

Meters from the Wyoming, the water rippled and a light flashed, the soldiers thought that was the signal to start firing. Gloved hands pulled the triggers of the machine gun-riffles and they began firing, ceasing to rest their hands.

That was when it appeared, the outline and then the ghostly shape of a monster dinosaur, rising from the depths.

The Americans watched with confusion and curiosity as the ghost appeared and turned invisible every second, everyone once more failed to notice a metal object in the sky appearing out of nowhere.

"What the heck is that?" Corporal Tanner asked, he was one of the soldiers with a hand on one of the guns.

Col. Steven, his hand on the other gun, shook his head, "Doesn't matter, keep shooting."

Tanner nodded, "Yes sir."

RATATATATT! BAM BAM BAMBAM BAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!

The bullets passed through the ghost and it did not bother to retaliate as it moved towards the shore. The warm night air began changing to a cold night air due to the ghost's presence, the stars seemed to turn off and clouds loomed.

For a minute, the dark sky seemed to turn blood red...

Electrical towers lined the perimiter between the beach and the grasslands, which was divided by a red wall of pillows that lay 80 meters away from the towers, beyond the pilows was the nest of US military troops and cannons.

As the soldiers finished loading the bullets and the cannons moved into position, the sergeant adressed the troops. "Ok, men. Soon as the wires connecting those towers disconnect, begin firing and do not stop until I say so."

He was pointing at the towers and every soldier knew what they were going to do, this was going to be one heck of a crazy night unbeknownst to them.

While final preps for the war games finished, the ghostly dinosaur walked out of the bay, making landfall on the island. The phantom slowly advanced, turning invisible every minute to ensure nobody saw it, approaching the electrical towers.

It wasn't going to attack any Guam city towns, the creature would be there to spook many people. The only destruction caused would be to the towers.

The soldiers did not see the beast, but they would be in for a big shock when they saw Ghost wires between two of the towers were preparing to disconnect, the monster seemed to know as it stopped in front of the obvious defense line, invisibility on.

All the creature had to do was wait…

The cannons finished priming, bullets finished loading, the soldiers were in position. The wires connecting two of the towers began to spark, showing they would be disconnecting, the stars twinkled and clouds loomed, thunder began to boom, the universe was trying to warn everyone of danger...

The guns began firing and the ghost advanced through the lines, deactivating invisibility and began tearing down the towers. The millitary did not notice, but one soldier was shocked he almost stopped shooting and exclaimed, "GHOST!"

BOOM BOOM BOOM! The cannons went off, reloading every second. All the while, the phantom dinosaur tore down every tower, roaring demonically, "AHRRREEEEAARRRRRRROONK!"

KRRRRRZZZZAAAAAAZZAAAAZAAAZAAAAAAAAAAP! A blue stream of energy gushed out of Ghost Godzilla's mouth and struck the towers, turning them red hot. Phantom Godzilla kept unloading until enough was enough.

The towers began to melt and crumble to the ground, turning to face the millitary nest that had stopped firing, the monster let out an earth shattering roar as it vanished into thin air.

"WHAT THE BLAZES WAS THAT?" The sergeant yelled.

A soldier intervined, "Um, sir. Thank you for keeping things interesting, but I think whatever technological marvels we have worked too well." The war games chief looked shocked, "Uh, thank you?"

The troops began chatting amongst themselves, debating on whatever the heck they had just seen...
