Forgiving And Forgetting
Right ladies and gentlemen of Fanfiction! I am back with chapter 5! As you will have seen in the previous chapter, Tiago was punished for his constant pranking, Bia almost did something that would have scarred her for life, and a surprising visitor AKA Violet returned to see Nico! I know what you're probably thinking…Wow how can things get any more interesting? Well…if you've read my previous stories you know that the surprises are still not over yet my friends! So…let's get straight to it!
Nico stood there in silence…he was literally trying to process the shock that hit his mind. Because standing there in front of him…was the bird that he was thinking about all the time.
After a few minutes of silence, Blu decided to leave the room so that the two of them could be alone to…catch up!
"What's that Carla? You need me outside? Daddy's coming!" Blu shouted to nobody in particular, walking past Nico and Violet and heading out of the beach pad. Leaving the two canaries alone.
"Look Nico…I know this might be a bit of a surprise visit! But…when I got invited to come here I couldn't really refuse!" Violet spoke up after standing there in complete silence.
"Yeah…wait, you got invited to come here? Who invited you to Rio?" Nico responded after his moment of shock.
"A new friend of mine! She travels around a lot with her boyfriend! Funnily enough, her boyfriend is actually a good friend of Jameson! Do you remember him?"
"Oh Jameson? Is he here with you?" The male canary smiled while escorting her to one of the chairs that was on the far end of the room. She sat down on the seat opposite him and carried on explaining.
"Yes Jameson did come with us! We all came here together!"
"Us? Who else did you come with?" Nico replied with a curious eyebrow raised. But as soon as Violet was about to reply, Blu came through the door at lightning speed and hid under one of the beds. "Blu? What the bloody hell are you doing? Can't you see I'm in the middle of a…"
"What is up party people!" Nico and Violet turned their heads towards the door. Nico's eyes widened in surprise when he saw an all too familiar group of birds.
"Holy shit!" Nico cursed softly as he saw two all too familiar female Canadian geese enter the beach pad, with a green winged macaw, a black owl and Pedro was there too. "Martin? Jameson? Alice and Chloe? What a surprise to see all of you here!"
"A great surprise indeed! Now come here and give Martin a big hug!" Martin spoke in a high pitch feminine voice as he picked Nico up and spun him around.
"Ouch! Okay! It's great to see you too! But you are squishing organs right now!" The yellow canary wheezed and panted as the green winged macaw finally let go.
"Sorry about that darling! I'm so glad to be here! Rio is…Fabulous!" Martin waved a wing in front of his face while looking around the beach pad.
Nico smiled when he saw the look on their faces, but then he noticed something…or a small someone standing behind Alice.
"It's good to see you too ladies! Who's the little one?" Nico wondered while looking at the small chick who was hiding behind Alice.
"It's great to see you too Nico! It's been so long since your visit to Minnesota! Oh and this little one? This is my daughter…Hazel! Hazel…say hi to the nice canary!" Alice rubbed her daughter's back while smiling at her.
She waddled out from behind her mother and very softly shook wings with him. "H-H-Hi nice canary. My name's Hazel!" She cutely chirped while shaking wings with her.
"Well it's nice to meet you…too?" The male yellow canary paused for a moment. He started to shake very nervously and started breathing heavily, after seeing the features of Hazel. That could mean one thing and one thing only…but he had to be sure.
"You ok there Nico?" Chloe asked while looking at the canary with worried eyes.
"Y-Y-Yeah I'm ok! Just Erm…I have a couple of questions if you don't mind me asking of course?" Nico innocently asked when Hazel walked back to her mother.
"Of course! What's on your mind?" Alice responded while putting a wing around her daughter.
"Is her dad here too?"
"Yes he is actually! I don't know where he is right now. But he's definitely here!" She responded while smiling at him.
A wave of anxiety started to hit Nico pretty hard…because he was ready for his next question. But he was pretty sure that he already knew the answer.
"So…the second thing I wanted to ask is…Erm…how old is little Hazel?" Nico stuttered and went quite pale. Making the girls as well as Jameson and Martin start to give him extremely suspicious looks.
"She is three years old. Why do you ask Nico? Is there something wrong?" Alice started feeling pretty confused by his sudden nerves. Luckily Violet came to the rescue.
"Yeah! He's great guys! He's probably just a bit surprised to see all of us again! I'll tell you what? Myself, Pedro and Nico need to…discuss some things about tonight! So…why don't you guys find a few hollows for us to stay in…then we can get settled in? Sound good?"
"Yeah that sounds great! I'll find one near the beach!" Alice responded as she flew out of the beach pad with Hazel and Chloe.
"I'll see if there's one nearer to the city! Got a good vibe from the city, and tonight is gonna be so super fun! Byeeee!" Martin responded happily as he flew out of the room with Jameson close behind.
Blu immediately got up from his hiding space and immediately got worried. "Shit shit shit! She can't get a place nearer to the beach! What if she recognises me!"
"See Blu…that's one of the reasons why I had to get rid of them! There's something I think you should know…" Violet responded quite nervously. She was really adamant on telling Blu something that she knew would make him panic.
"What about her? Please just tell me! I can take it!"
"Are you sure you won't freak out?"
"I promise! Now…please tell me what's going on?" Blu demanded while trying not to lose his cool.
"Alright…now when I tell you this…it won't be easy to hear ok?" Violet started slowly as Blu nodded his head in understanding. "Blu…Hazel is…Hazel is…"
"Hazel is what? IS WHAT?!"
"ALRIGHT! HAZEL IS YOUR DAUGHTER!" She responded rather irritably. She started panting because it wasn't exactly easy for her to say it.
Blu paused for at least five seconds, and formed a nervous grin on his face. Then he started to chuckle anxiously. He thought that she was just messing with him. Clearly he didn't get the message yet.
"Hahaha This is a joke right?! This is clearly a joke! Because…there is no way that I got Alice pregnant! No that is clearly not true? Right? Tell me I'm right!" The blue male started freaking out and pulling feathers out of his mane.
Violet groaned and slapped him across the face to calm him down. "Blu listen to me! I'm not lying to you! About a week after you left with your friends, Alice discovered she was pregnant. And you were the only bird she slept with! I'm sorry, but it's the truth!"
Blu leaned up against the wall and slid down to the floor, holding his head between his wings. "Oh no no no no no! This cannot be true! This just cannot be true! Jewel is going to leave me! I don't want her to leave me!"
While Blu was freaking out, Pedro walked up to him and kneeled down next to him for comfort.
"Erm Blu? May I say something here that could help you out?"
"What? Another one of your sarcastic comments? No thank you!" Blu rudely interrupted while waving his wing at him.
The red crested cardinal groaned in annoyance and slapped him hard across the face. "Will you shut the fuck up! Look…you have two options here! You could either tell Jewel the truth before Alice and Chloe do! Or…"
"Or what Pedro?" Blu responded while leaning up to face him.
"Or…there's Alice, Chloe and Jewel! You know where I'm going with this?"
"No? Where are you going with this?" The blue male responded as he stood up onto his talons.
"One…word! Orgy!" Pedro nodded his head as he thought about it. This immediately earned him a slap to the face from Nico.
"Pedro! Enough of the stupid ideas!" The male yellow canary snapped at him, and he went to stand next to Blu.
"Ok ok! What else is he supposed to do? He can't just lie to his wife!" Pedro snapped back while crossing his wings.
Nico was about to argue back, when Blu decided to stop him.
"No Nico…he's right! I have to…I have to tell her the truth! I love her too much to lie to her! I'm going to tell her right now!" Blu confirmed with a brave face as he was just about to leave the beach pad.
"Good luck Blu! By the way, we need to talk about something else later on! Ok?" Violet beamed with praise as the macaw waved back at his friends.
Violet, Nico and Pedro remained back at the beach pad to talk about something regarding the club's entertainment for that evening.
Blu collected his two daughters and they were on their way back to their hollow. Blu was in deep thought because of the strangest turn of events. It was truly a horrifying truth!
Bia noticed that her father was so focused on his own thoughts, that he didn't notice that he was about to fly into a branch.
"DADDY! LOOK OUT!" Bia screeched to warm her dad about the incoming obstacle.
"What? OHHH!" Blu screamed out loud as he managed to weave his way out from crashing into the branch and carried on. Even though his daughters were rather concerned about him.
"Dad? Is everything ok?" Carla spoke up as she flew alongside her father with worrying eyes.
"I will be sweetie! When we get home, I need you and Bia to play outside with Tiago ok?" He nervously responded as they were only seconds away from home.
Both sisters looked at each other in slight concern, and followed their dad back to their hollow. As soon as the blue adult stepped inside, he was too late…
"Hey honey I'm…AHHHHH!" Blu screamed in a high pitch voice. Because he saw something in front of him that he didn't want to see.
"Oh hey honey! Guess who decided to drop by? Alice! She's in Rio for a few days with her daughter and wanted to come by and say hi. Alice…I'm sure you already know that this is Blu!" Jewel smiled as Alice walked up to him and shook his wing. Jewel formed a sadistic smile in the background which made Blu gulp.
"Hi Blu…it's so…nice to see you!" Alice said in a soothing tone while winking at him. Clearly Jewel didn't see this.
"H-H-Hi Alice! It's erm…so nice to see…you know what? We actually already met!"
"I know." Alice replied simply. Blu approached her and Jewel, not breaking eye contact from Alice. He noticed the goose and macaw both winking at each other which made him even more frightened.
"Tiago, take your sisters outside and play! No wandering off ok?"
"Thank god for that! See ya!" Tiago beamed as he zoomed out if the hollow, followed by Bia and Carla.
"Hey honey? Why don't you go and play with them? Make some friends ok?" Alice whispered to Hazel while stroking her on the head.
The youngling nodded her head and flew outside to join the others. Leaving Blu, Alice and Jewel alone to talk.
"So…what have you girls been talking about exactly?" Blu spoke first while scratching the back of his head nervously.
Jewel approached him and slapped him across the face really hard. But then she gave him a kiss on the beak afterwards. Making him really really confused.
"What the bloody hell was that for?" Blu whined while rubbing his cheek. Jewel rolled her eyes at him and lowered her voice so that the others outside couldn't hear.
"I know about Minnesota…about…your little threesome!" Jewel spoke softly while pulling on Blu's wing tightly. "Why didn't you tell me about this?"
Blu stood there in silence, trying to understand why his wife isn't completely freaking out about the fact that he has another child with another woman.
"Woah woah! You're not…going to leave me?" Blu looked at his wife confused and he started to shed some tears. Jewel and Alice looked at each other and started laughing which made him even more confused.
"What? Why would I leave you? It wasn't your fault!" Jewel giggled out loud while wrapping her wings around his back.
"But…but…I had another child with another bird? I didn't think you'd want to stay with me…if…if you found out!" Blu started crying softy, but luckily Alice spoke up to calm him down.
"Blu it's ok! You didn't know that you got me pregnant! But...I'm glad that you did! Hazel was the one thing missing in my life! I didn't need a man to make me feel happy! I have a child! The day she was born was the best day of my life! And I have you to thank for that!"
When Alice finished talking, she walked up to Blu and gave him a friendly hug to calm his nerves and make him feel relaxed again. He slowly started to gain his confidence back and wiped away his tears.
"Honey…yes I am a little freaked out that you have had a child with another girl before me. But you didn't know that! You were both really drunk that night, and to be honest it could have happened to anybody!" Jewel spoke in a soothing voice while rubbing him on his back.
"Besides Blu, I told Jewel everything! I told her that you were saving yourself for the right bird, and I was the one who peer pressured my sister into…having sex with you! Plus, me and Jewel have decided not to tell anyone else about this!" Alice explained when she let go of Blu.
"Wait…else? Who knows already?"
"Us three, Hazel, Nico, Pedro, Rafael, Sergio, Eva…" Alice rambled on, until the name Sergio got stuck in Blu's mind.
"Hold on! Who was that last one?"
"Eva?"
"No the one before?"
"Sergio? The dove who brought us here to Rio?" Alice responded quickly while looking at Blu with a look that says 'Your friend.'
Blu walked over to the hollow entrance and stared deep into the jungle as he thought to himself. Thinking about the bird who sent him on the wrong plane a few years ago. "Why would Sergio purposefully bring them here? Why them of all birds?"
Jewel walked up behind him and wrapped her wings around him. Purely because she was worried about him.
"Sweetie? Is something wrong?"
Blu took one last look out of the hollow and turned around to face her with a small grin.
"Nothing Jewel. Just thinking about what a terrible thing it was not to tell you this! I'm so sorry Jewel!"
"Blu! Blu…it's ok! It's…ok! We all have drunken mistakes! It's about forgiveness and forgetting! I love you Blu! More than anything in the world!" The female spix macaw sweetly spoke as she passionately kissed her love hawk on the beak.
Alice smiled at the two of them and placed a wing on her heart.
"You're a very lucky lady Jewel! I'll leave you two lovebirds alone. I have to take my daughter back to our hollow for the night! See you guys tomorrow!" The goose beamed as she waved goodbye and flew out of the hollow.
Blu and Jewel sat at the entrance of the hollow and watched their children playing together, smiling deeply.
"You know what Jewel?" Blu whispered to his wife as they watched their offspring.
"What honey?"
"Thank you for forgiving me! I don't know what I'd do if I lost you!"
"Really?" Jewel sweetly responded, while Blu nodded his head. "I love you too much to be mad at you Blu! Just…promise me one thing for next time?"
"Oh? What would that be?" Blu curiously replied as she leaned in towards him.
"Next time you want a threesome…I want to get involved hehe!" Jewel giggled and blushed when she saw her husband giving her a seductive grin.
"I'll hold you to that my love!" Blu replied warmly, and the two of them smiled at their offspring as they were playing tag in the air. But one things for sure…he couldn't get Sergio out of his suspicions.
Meanwhile…A Few Feet Away
"Noooo! No! No! NO! What will it take to break up that…FUCKING COUPLE!" A voice emerged from the bushes that revealed to be the Spanish dove.
"Clearly more than what you tried Sergio!" A loud thumping noise emerged from behind the dove, who narrowed his eyes at Alexander.
"It's not fair! I flew all the way on a stupid plane to that cold ice country! To bring this…Alice! Back here to cause a rift between the two spix macaws! But then what? Oh nooooooo! She had to forgive him because their love is stronger than ever now!"
"So what do you suggest we do then?" The military macaw responded rather sarcastically as he leaned up against a tree.
Soon, the two of them heard a small grumbling noise from the tree above them.
"I asked you to do one simple thing! To break up the two macaws! So why hasn't it happened yet!"
"We are trying sir…but Blu and Jewel are so in love! There is nothing that could possibly break them apart!" Sergio responded while getting down on one knee. Making the bird groan in anger and pin him up against a tree.
"TRYING ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH! Forget about breaking up those two blue bastards! I have something else in mind!" The bird bellowed and threw Alexander to the floor next to the kneeling dove.
"What would that be sir?" Alexander spoke up while kneeling next to Sergio.
The bird grinned wickedly and looked at the three smaller macaws that were playing just outside of their location.
"We are going to take one of their kids!" He maliciously responded before backing away into the bushes.
Back To The Hollow…
The three children have just been put to bed after a long day of playing and laughing.
Blu and Jewel laid down next to them in the nest, with Blu fast asleep. However…Jewel was still wide awake. She was thinking about something that could potentially make her feel miserable.
"I hope Blu doesn't find out what happened to me! I forgive him because it's not his fault…but what happened to me…was so much worse!"
After her thoughts, she fell asleep with her husband. What happened to her that made her forgive Blu so quickly?
Wow, I bet you wasn't expecting that was you? It seems love is so powerful that forgiving and forgetting is a sign of how much you love you partner. But what happened to Jewel that was so bad, that it made her forget about what Blu did? Well you won't find out about that until later on in the story unfortunately! But on a more exciting note, In chapter 6 we will now see who the OC is that I borrowed from another author! Thank you again for that! Until then…stay tuned for chapter 6!
