"As the journey starts for one, it starts for another.".

"I could never measure up to a friend that I cherished and the wife I love. I want you to continue my legacy, Renku".

"I see you are reading this my son and I apologize that you are seeing how you don't know where I am, but I want you to find me.".

"Thank you for being a part of my life my son and Thank you Green for staying with me through all my adventures, I love you, Renku and Green.".

As Renku reads his dad's letter, his eyes start to dispense tears. His mom, Green got on her knees and started bawling her eyes out. Renku hugged his mom tightly and stroked her head. "Renku, I want to give you something that your father couldn't". Green gives Renku a Pokeball.

"What is this?" Renku asked his mother. Green throw the Pokeball and out came an Apex Squirtle. "This is a Squirtle, but it's different." Green said. "Apex Pokémon are Pokémon that have the types effective against it's original form." Green explained.

Renku is amazed at this sight because he had never seen anything like this. He picked up the Squirtle and hugs it. The Squirtle nuzzles it's face on Renku's face. They started playing with each other. After that, Renku had an idea for a name for him. He picked up the Squirtle and named him: Dewey. Green smiled at her son and his partner, Dewey. Green loves her son, but she wants him to follow her father's legacy.

Renku acquired Squirtle (Apex), The small turtle Pokémon, Apex Squirtle is a pure Grass type. "I love Dewey, Mom, and I will find my dad to thank him." Renku said with courage. As Green giggled at her son, she sees a lot of Red in Renku. "You are just like him." Green said. "You are just like your father; he was so adventurous and courageous."

Renku and Dewey looks at a poster of his dad and Renku shed some tears, but wiped them of before the tears got to his cheeks. Green kisses Renku's head then hugged him, Dewey joined the hug. Renku already had a bag packed and opened the door, but Green stopped him for a minute.

"Find your father and make him proud." Green cried. "I love you, Renku". Renku put a thumbs up and gave his mom one more hug before he leaves for his adventure to beat all the gyms and find his dad, and be the champion so he can continue his dad's legacy.

3 years earlier

Red was battling a trainer named Gold and Gold was down to his last Pokémon, which was a Typhlosion. Red had five Pokémon left and he had his Shiny Poliwrath out. "Poli, use Dynamic Punch" Red commanded. The Poliwrath put his fist in the air and charged his fist. Gold's was about to dodge the Dynamic Punch but Poli was too fast and used Dynamic Punch on Typhlosion and the Typhlosion was punched thru the roof. Typhlosion fainted and Gold returned him to his Pokeball. Gold looked down and clenched his fist. Red returned Poli to his Pokeball and Red was walking out of the stadium but stopped and put his hand on Gold's shoulder. "You could try again, kid. I see strategy and power, but I don't see much of you believing in your Pokémon." Red said. "I want you to blow me out of the fucking water, when we battle again."

As Red and Gold walk out of the arena and they decide to talk to Blue, who was watching the whole battle. "You did good for a third time, Gold boy.". Blue said "Listen, kid, this fucker right here beat my ass in so many Pokémon battles, it's not even funny." Gold and Red started laughing and Blue got in a corner as his dignity left his body. "I will get better at bonding with my Pokémon and I will win, Red." Gold said with confidence. "That's the spirit I was looking for." Red complimented. "We might have to leave though, because my girlfriend is calling me.". Blue said "I am coming with you since we fucking live next to each other". Red and Blue head out of the stadium and went to their houses.

Red opened the door to his house and Green tackled Red on the ground to hug him. Red and Green laughed while they were still on the ground. They both got up and Green wanted to make dinner, but Red had other plans. "Where are you going, Red.". Green asked. "I thought we were going to eat dinner together.". Red put a folded note in the cabinet of the guest room. "I have to go, Green, I love you but I have another battle right now" Red said as he made out with Green for 10 minutes and left. Green was pregnant with Red's child, so he came back and kissed her belly, where Renku was.

As Red left the house, he was stopped by two Shadow Dragonites. Red throws out Charizard and he mega-evolves Charizard then he goes further into Mega Charizard R2. The two Shadow Dragonites use Dragon Rush, but Charizard dodged them. Charizard used Dragon Claw on both of the Shadow Dragonites. Since they had Multiscale, the damaged was halved. The Shadow Dragonites used Dragon Pulse, one of the the Shadow Dragonites got shot out of the air by a Hydro Pump. Blue came to help with his Mega Blastoise R2. Mega Charizard R2 and One of the Shadow Dragonites started battling in the air. The trainers of these Shadow Dragonites belonged to Team Rocket. "Use Dragon Pulse.". Blue commanded. Blastoise used Dragon Pulse then crashed thru a few houses causing of the Dragonites fainted. Red told Charizard to use Dragon Claw. The Shadow Dragonite used the same move, as they use the same move on each other. The Shadow Dragonite faints, and Mega Charizard R2 and Mega Blastoise R2 reverted back to normal.

Giovanni came out of nowhere. Red and Charizard came back on the ground. Giovanni threw out Mewtwo and then used Telekinesis to put Red, Charizard, Blue and Blastoise in indestructible van. After the news, that Red and Blue came up missing a day later. Green got on her knees and started crying, causing Green to take care of Renku herself.
