Returning To Rio
Hello my friends and family of Fanfiction! I am back with a brand new chapter for you! So in the recent chapters we saw the fall of Julio, A celebration party with singing, dancing, drinking and fun! But…what was that whole situation with Jewel? I guess we will have to find out in the chapter, won't we? Let's get to it!
"Alright! Let's go! Up! Up! Up!" Jewel ordered while clapping her wings together several times like a scout leader. However Blu just remained in the nest rolling from side to side.
"Not…now mom! Five more minutes!" Blu mumbled softly while slowly falling back asleep, and he started sucking on his wingtip like an infant.
Jewel crossed her wings in frustration, shaking her head from side to side as their daughter walked besides her. She did find it cute that Blu was sleeping like that, but she wanted him up and out of bed. Then she had a great idea on how to get him to wake up.
"Mommy? Why is daddy still sleeping?" She cutely cooed while looking at her father tossing and turning in the nest.
"Because he's too busy sleeping to watch me bathe myself!" Jewel whispered in a seductive whisper while smiling mischievously.
"I'm awake! I'm awake!" Blu shot awake immediately when he heard his wife sounding seductive. Only to find his beloved staring at him while shaking her head in disappointment.
"Wow, charming lovehawk!" She smirked at him, kissing her husband on the forehead. "Come on! We are meeting everyone on the beach in fifteen minutes! Finish your breakfast."
"What about you and Bia?" Blu grumbled while stretching his wings and yawning heavily.
"We already ate daddy! You were sleeping for a while!" Bia chirped while making her way out of the hollow with Jewel. "Don't be late daddy!"
"Well…I better get eating!" Blu thought to himself, as he thought he was the only one sitting in the hollow.
"Yeah, me too!" Blu jumped a little from the new voice behind him, but then he realised that it was Malcom.
"Oh, you're not an early bird too huh?"
"Sometimes I like a nice lay in! To be honest I just woke up a few minutes ago after your wife said something about you watching her bathe?" The scarlet male yawned and stretched his wings and talons.
"Yeah well, we better eat up because we have a long flight ahead of us!" Blu beamed in response as he rolled a mango towards Malcom and the two of them ate. "By the way…don't think Lexi will like the idea of you watching my wife bathe! I don't like it either!"
"Oh relax would you? It's only a guy thing! Not like I'm gonna do it!" The scarlet male responded before digging his beak into his mango.
Meanwhile, Douglas had just woken up from his peaceful slumber. But what made this more perfect for him was that Martin had his wings wrapped around him. He smiled warmly at him and moved his head slightly to signal that he was awake.
"Good morning Martin!" The military male smiled at him sweetly, as the green winged male slowly opened his eyes to face him. Smiling back at him dreamily.
"Good morning to you too darling! How did you sleep?" He smiled in response as he rose to his feet and let out a long yawn.
"Pretty good thank you! I was in the wings of a wonderful bird!" Douglas winked at him, making Martin blush.
"Oh you are too kind! Let's go get some food, before we meet the others! Got to be ready for our big trip back to Rio!" He beamed in a feminine voice while placing a wing on his hip.
"Yes indeed! Lead the way hot stuff!"
"Why thank you, darling!" The two of them had a quick kiss on the beak, before spreading their wings and flying out of the hollow.
Rafael had spent the night with Kipo, Michael, Chloe, Sergio and Helena. The six of them fell asleep in a huge hollow that Douglas used to sleep in with his teammates when they were little.
The toucan had already eaten breakfast, and told the others to meet him at the beach as he decided to go on an early morning fly. "See you guys at the bar! I'm going for a fly!"
"Alright buddy! Did you see Jameson? He slept in here last night?" Kipo asked him before he left.
"I think he's already there? I think he got up early for some reason? Anyway I'll see you guys later!" The toucan beamed as he leapt out of the hollow.
As he was gliding above the trees, he noticed that Alex and Siax were already travelling to the beach with Jameson just behind them.
"Ahhh! The fresh air in my lungs is absolutely perfect! What a wonderful morning this is!" Rafael spoke to himself as he made his way in and out of the trees. When he thought he was flying solo, he noticed, or rather heard a certain bird below him having a panic attack. "What the? Is that…Nightfly?"
The toucan looked down to the jungle floor, and noticed that Nightfly was rocking back and forth while holding his wings over his head. He looked like he had just seen a ghost.
"Hey! Nightfly!" The blue spix's macaw looked up to see his toucan friend approaching him, and he immediately stood up and placed his wings at his sides.
"Oh…good morning Rafi! Nice weather we are having right? Haha!" The blue male started chuckling nervously, while sweating at the same time.
"You're acting really weird? Are you ok?" The toucan male asked him curiously, as he landed besides him on the floor. "Did something happen with you and Tanya last night?"
"That's just it Rafael! Something did happen!"
"Woah woah! Slow down amigo! What happened between you and Tanya?"
"Rafi…me and Tanya basically…had sex last night!" Nightfly whispered to him fearfully while looking over his shoulder to check if anyone was listening.
"Yeah? And?" Rafael responded while cocking his head to the side in confusion.
"I erm…kind of…kind of forgot to…use a leaf?" Nightfly whispered in embarrassment as Rafael went wide eyed.
"WHAT?!"
"Shhhhh! Do you want the whole jungle to hear you?!"
"How could you forget to use a leaf?!" Rafael responded in shock while slapping him on the back of his head.
"First of all…OW! Second of all…I don't know! Last night we were kissing, cuddling and then it just happened! I was so lost in the moment that I forgot to use one!"
"What if Tanya got pregnant? Would you be ready to be a father?" Rafael questioned him while placing a wing on his shoulder.
"Well…I…"
"NIGHTFLY!" Both male birds looked up to see Tanya arriving with Nico, Pedro, Violet and Zara. "Where were you? When I woke up this morning you weren't there by my side?"
"Oh…I actually woke him up to ask him a favour! I wanted him to help me with…my back! Because I had a nasty landing this morning!" Rafael lied to cover up what Nightfly was really doing. However Tanya gave them both a suspicious expression but shrugged it off.
"I'm sorry to hear that Rafi! Well…we are meeting the others at the beach now! Come on! CAW!" Pedro squawked as he lead the way, with the others following him.
Rafael turned to Nightfly and put a wingtip on his long beak. "Not a word to the others! This stays between you and me for now amigo!"
"Absolutely! Let's go and meet the others!" The blue male beamed as they both nodded their heads at each other and followed the others.
Leona and Sandro were waiting by the beach bar with Blu, Jewel, Bia, Malcom, Alex, Siax and Jameson. All the others were running a little late but that didn't bother them at all…well except for Jameson.
"Oh come on! Where are those guys?! I wanna get back to Rio and head to the new place I was going to take a look at!" The black owl groaned as he rubbed the sweat off of his forehead. "Damnit! Still need to get used to this blazing hot weather!"
"Don't worry Jameson! I'm sure we will be going home soon! By the way, that place you were looking at? Are you thinking of opening up a bar here?" Alex responded happily while patting his friend on the shoulder.
"Yeah well, I thought about it and I think it's the right move for me! I'll be more free and happy here! Plus, I get to be closer to all of my friends!" Jameson replied with a big smile on his face as his snowy owl friend hugged him.
"You know what's crazy?" Blu said to everyone in the group who all turned to face him with curiosity in their eyes. "Yesterday, we arrived with so much hate and anger in our hearts! But now, we are all returning home with happiness and love! To be honest, I was afraid that Julio would have done something to my little girl!"
Blu began tearing up at the thought of it, and his daughter waddled up to him and tugged on his right wing.
"But I'm ok daddy! Douglas, Leona and Helena took good care of me! Even when these bad birds came in and forced the nice ladies to kiss!" Bia responded simply with innocence in her voice.
Blu and Jewel immediately went wide eyed in horror as the two of them faced Leona who started laughing nervously.
"Leona? Why didn't you tell me?" Sandro asked her with concern while rubbing her left wing gently.
"It wasn't a huge deal at the time! By the way, I didn't think Bia saw that! I thought Douglas was covering her eyes!" She responded nervously while looking down at the young chick.
"Why did they make you kiss auntie Leona? Was it a game that they like to play?"
"Erm…no sweetie! I think that's a conversation you need to have with your parents when you are older. It's more of an adult thing, understand?"
"Okay, I hope a bad bird doesn't make me do that…"
"Okay! Enough talking about this sweetheart! Let's talk about something else!" Jewel quickly intervened into the uncomfortable situation. Making Bia play on her own in the sand with Siax and Alex watching her closely.
"She is so cute Alex! Isn't she a darling?" Siax cooed while admiring the beautiful blue female chick.
"She sure is sweetie!" The snowy owl sighed happily while watching her play. "I would love kids someday!"
"We could have kids? If you wanted to?" The female burrowing owl suggested as she tilted her head to the side.
Alex smiled at her dreamily, before giving her a passionate kiss on the beak.
"I'd like that!" He whispered to her while caressing her chest with his wing.
Blu turned around to face Malcom and Sandro who had their eyes closed for a moment. But the blue male knew exactly what they were doing.
"Thinking about Leona kissing my wife?" Blu angrily scolded them, narrowing his eyes at the two perverted birds.
"Hell yeah!" Malcom responded, to which earned him a punch in the gut by Blu.
"STOP DOING THAT!" Blu groaned in anger and he slapped Sandro across the face. "That's my wife you're thinking about!"
"Not me my friend! I was thinking about Leona and Helena kissing!" Sandro whispered to him. But unfortunately for him the hyacinth female overheard this and slapped him across the face as well. "WILL EVERYONE STOP HITTING ME!"
"Uh-oh! I sense dramaaaa!" Everyone turned their attention towards Douglas and Martin who had finally arrived at the beach.
"Well look at you two lovebirds! How was the first night together?" Sandro beamed In happiness, hugging his brother briefly.
"Oh it was perfect! I fell asleep in Martin's wings and we had the best night sleep! Don't you agree marvellous Martin?" Douglas chuckled while putting a wing around him, making Martin blush.
"It was incredible! Best night sleep I've had in years! Thanks to this darling here!" Martin beamed happily and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"You two look so adorable together! I'm sure when we get home we will have a lot to tell the others!" Blu responded happily as he stroked his daughter on her head feathers, making her laugh cutely.
"What's up party birds!" Rafael and Nightfly arrived at the beach with Tanya, Pedro, Nico, Zara and Violet. With Kipo, Chloe, Michael, Sergio and Helena arriving close behind them.
"Glad everyone finally made it! I was getting anxious to go back to Rio! This place is starting to make me feel uneasy!" Siax whined as she laid her head on Alex's shoulder.
"Yep! Now all we need to do now is…just say goodbye to São Paulo and hello to Rio!" Blu beamed as he nodded his head at his family who nodded in return. Then they all flapped their wings and flew high in the sky.
They all flew in a bunch and took it in turns for who would lead the group back to their home. But when Bia asked if she could lead the group, everyone thought it was so cute that they let her lead for most of the journey.
"Daddy! Daddy! Look at me! I'm the leader!" Bia squealed happily as she was flying ahead of the group.
"Yes you are sweetie! You're doing a great job leader!" Blu chuckled as he flew alongside his beloved as well as Martin and Douglas.
"You're so lucky Blu! I think Bia will be a born leader some day!" Douglas complimented him as they made their way back to Rio.
"Yeah! We are the luckiest parents in the world! I just hope we don't run into anymore surprises when we get home!" Jewel added while thinking about what happened last night.
If only she knew what or who for that matter…will be waiting for her!
(Authors Note: I'm going to do the same thing by skipping the journey because all they are doing is just flying XD)
Arriving Back In Rio…
Our favourite party birds made their way back into Rio de Janeiro with huge smiles on their beaks. They flew past The Christ The Redeemer statue and made their way back into the the city.
"Hey guys! Before we head home, we should check on Diante and Raul! I think they would want to hear about our trip!" Michael suggested to the group of birds, as they all nodded their heads in agreement. "Perfect! Let's go and see them!"
As the white hawk made his descent, the rest of them followed suit to the samba club.
Blu and Jewel flew closely behind with Alex and Siax just behind them. Jameson flew alongside Chloe and everyone else just flew behind all jumbled together.
Jewel looked over her shoulder for a brief moment, because she felt like they were being watched by someone. Blu noticed this and decided to ask if she was ok.
"You ok there honey? You saw something that freaked you out?" Blu wondered curiously as he too looked over his shoulder in concern.
"It's nothing to worry about sweetie! I felt like we are being watched by someone! But it's probably Lexi or Eva awaiting for us to return or something! I'm sure I'm just overthinking!" The blue female responded while winking at her husband playfully, making him chuckle.
"Well don't keep staring at me otherwise you'll crash into…BILLBOARD!" Blu shouted as he quickly flew into his wife and wrapped his wings around her to swerve her out of the way.
"Phew…thanks for saving my life again honey! I love you so much!" Jewel dreamily said to her husband as they landed a few blocks away from the club.
"Of course my love! I swore that I would always protect you and the kids no matter what! I love you too!" Blu responded as he leaned in about to passionately kiss her, only to be interrupted by their daughter.
"Mommy! Daddy! Come on! Everyone is waiting for us in the club!" Bia chirped as she landed besides her parents.
"Be there right away sweetie!" Jewel beamed as she grasped Blu's wing smiling at him warmly, as they made their way to the club.
Somewhere a few yards away from them, a bird was lurking in one of the trees. They watched the blue spix's macaw family walk into the city and it made them wonder.
"Could it be? No way! This is…unexpected? Yet…interesting! I must know for sure!" They thought to themselves as they flew off of the branch and made their way towards the club entrance.
Blu, Jewel and Bia made their way inside the club, to see all of their friends waiting for them to join. What made them smile even more was seeing Alice, Eva and Lexi with Carla and Tiago by one of the tables.
"MOM! DAD!" Both chicks screamed in unison, as they tackled their parents to the ground with so much force due to their excitement. "You got Bia back! And you came back home safely! We missed you so much!" Carla cooed while nuzzling her head against her mother's face.
"Yes we did! But we couldn't have done it without Sandro! If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have been able to save the birds captured!" Jewel responded happily while both military macaws blushed in embarrassment.
"Carla, Tiago, this is Sandro and his brother Douglas! Douglas was the bird who saved uncle Nightfly's life the first time, and Sandro helped us save him the second time!" Blu introduced them as they slowly and gently shook their wings.
"It's a pleasure to meet you sirs! Uncle Nightfly told us all about you! Well…nothing good about you though mister Sandro!" Tiago replied innocently, while Bia flew down and gave her brother a slap. "OW! HEY! I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU?!"
"That's ok Bia! I deserve that! I know I've been bad in the past…but I'm a changed bird now! I have wonderful friends, a wonderful new girlfriend, and a place to call home! I'm much happier now than I have ever been before!" The military macaw male chuckled as he wrapped a wing around his beloved.
"Oh Sandro! You do know how to make a girl blush!" Leona responded while giggling and covering her face with her wing to hide her sudden blush.
"Yeah well…if it also wasn't for my brother, I wouldn't have met my new boyfriend Martin! Who by the way, is one of THE most amazing birds I have ever met!" Douglas beamed with emphasis as he gave his boyfriend a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh my, I'm getting light headed!" The green winged male responded, waving his wing in front of his face.
Lexi walked up to Jewel and gave her a warm comforting hug as she returned. She whispered in her ear so that the children couldn't hear her.
"Is it finished? Is that bastard dead?" She whispered while looking at the others minding their own business.
"Yes…we blew him up with firecrackers!" She responded in a low whisper while nodding her head slightly.
"Ewww! That must have been a horrific sight?" Lexi gasped while covering her beak with her wing.
"I don't care…just as long as he's not coming back!" The blue female responded in a serious yet happy tone as she gave her friend another hug.
"BLU! JEWEL! NIGHTFLY! Got some important news to tell you!" Diante bellowed from behind the bar as he placed three glasses on the bar counter.
"What's up? Is everything alright?" Nightfly wondered as he approached the white hawk.
"I'm…not sure? In the early hours of this morning, a blue macaw came in here looking for you three!" Diante explained seriously. Blu and Nightfly looked at each other in surprise, whereas Jewel's eyes lit up in excitement.
"Oh my god! OH…MY…GOD! AHHHH! Another blue macaw? What did he look like? Is he tall? Is he short? Is he old? Young?" Jewel kept throwing loads of questions at him, until Blu covered her beak with his wing.
"Sorry, she gets a bit too excited when there is another blue macaw other than us!" The blue male responded as he kissed his beloved on the cheek.
"It's ok guys! Well…he was quite tall, muscular, great hair, charming personality?"
"Oh shit…" Jewel whispered to herself as she was about to turn around and leave the club, but then Diante said something that only made her freeze.
"That's him arriving now!" The white hawk pointed to the door to reveal a tall and handsome blue spix's macaw. He leaned on the wall near the entrance and smiled at the female with warm eyes.
"Hello…Ju-Ju! It's been so long!"
"Who the bloody hell is that?!" Blu scrunched up his face in anger when staring at the newcomer.
Uh oh…you were right Martin! I sense dramaaaa! Now…I know what you are thinking? Why end the chapter here? Well in the last few chapters there will be…secrets revealed, jealousy and heated discussions, as well as a huge bombshell! Without saying anything else…I'll see you all soon for chapter 19!
