A Mixed Ending? Or New Beginning?
Yes my brothers and sisters of Fanfiction! We have arrived at the final chapter of 'The Adventures Of The Samba Club'! It's been so fun and exciting writing this story! And I really hope that you all enjoyed it! I want to say a huge thank you to Nightfly123, LoganJindrak X, JamesonThePheonixOwl and Jaqui The Spix Girl! For allowing me to use their OC's for this story! Now…in this chapter it will be filled with moments of happiness, humour, sadness, fear and of course…excitement! So get ready my friends! Let's get straight to it!
"Y-Y-You're pregnant? That's wonderful! You should be happy!" The burrowing owl female beamed, leaning in to give her friend a hug.
"I know! But Nightfly is always so nervous when we talk about having children! I'm afraid he will freak out!" Tanya replied while looking at her talons in a sad way.
"Come on Tanya! When I found out I was pregnant, Rafi was over the moon! I'm sure Nightfly will be extremely happy that you're pregnant!" Eva responded positively, rubbing her friend on the wing.
"I don't know girls! I don't know how I'm going to tell Nightfly about this?"
"Tell me about what?" All three females turned to the entrance of the beach pad, and saw the blue male entering with curiosity in his eyes. "Are you feeling better sweetheart?"
"Oh! Honey! I-I'm ok! Erm…can we talk for a minute? Alone!" Tanya looked at the girls as she motioned with her head towards the door.
"Oh right! Come on Eva, let's see where Alex and the kids are!" Siax happily cooed while leaving the room with the female toucan. They closed the door behind them, and Nightfly approached his girlfriend with a sudden wave of anxiety.
"So…I saw you erm…feeling ill earlier?" Nightfly tried to lighten the mood, but all it did was make Tanya feel even worse.
"I'm serious honey! We need to talk!" His girlfriend approached him slowly, as she placed her wings on his sides. "Sit on the bed sweetie!" She asked him while pointing to Pedro's bed.
"Alright?" Nightfly strolled over to one of the beds and smoothly sat down on the foot of the bed. Tanya sat down next to him and placed a wing on his shoulder.
"Sweetheart…there is no easy way to tell you this…"
"Oh no…here it comes!" Nightfly responded sadly while holding his head between his wings. "I've already been in two life threatening situations and you are stressing about it all! So you want to break up with me?"
"What?" Tanya replied a bit surprised by his sudden outburst.
"It all makes sense! You dump me so you don't have to worry about losing me! So you can be happy with someone else, with no worries in the world!" Nightfly started crying because he thought that it was over between them.
"No! No honey, you don't understand what I'm trying to tell you!" Tanya argued back, while grabbing one of his wings and placing it on her belly. "Do you feel that?"
"W-W-What is that? Did you eat a rock? Are you dying? Oh no! It's much worse than I thought!" The blue macaw panicked out loud while nuzzling his head against hers.
The hyacinth female groaned in annoyance while rolling her eyes. She pulled Nightfly into a deep and passionate kiss, rubbing his back in a loving way. When they separated from the kiss, Tanya leaned towards him and brushed a wing against his face.
"Nightfly…I'm pregnant!" She whispered to him, while grabbing his wing and placing it on her belly again. "You feel that? Two tiny lumps!"
"Wait…you're what?" The blue macaw male opened his eyes wide in bewilderment. "Y-Y-You're pregnant?" He stuttered while looking at his girlfriend.
"Yes, I'm pregnant! Eva confirmed it with me! Are you…unhappy?" She gazed at him with worrying eyes, as he just stared at her with nothing but shock.
"Am I unhappy?" Nightfly asked her with a shocked expression on his face. But soon it turned into a widened smile and cheery laugh. "Are you crazy?! This is fantastic news!"
"What? You're not freaked out by this?"
"No! Why would I be? I'm gonna be a daddy! And you're gonna be a mom! This is incredible news!" Nightfly beamed happily as he wrapped his wings around his girlfriend and kissed her on he beak. "This is the happiest moment of my life!"
"Mine too honey! I love you so much!"
"I love you too!"
"Guys! Can we come in now? We've been out here for a while now!" Blu spoke from outside of the beach pad.
"Come in! Come in!" Nightfly beamed happily, waiting for Blu, Siax, Eva, and the chicks to enter the room.
"What's going on? Are you ok?"
"Yes Blu! I'm gonna be a daddy! Me and Tanya are having a baby!"
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Blu screamed happily as the group of birds ran up to the blue couple and gave them a group hug. "I'm so happy for you guys!"
"Yay! I'm happy for you too uncle Nightfly!" Bia cooed while nuzzling her head against his belly.
"Thank you everyone! I can't wait to tell the others!" Tanya squealed happily while wrapping her wings around Blu in a tight hug. "Plus, you better find Jewel!" Tanya whispered to Blu who immediately realised why he was there.
"Oh right! Come along kids! Let's go and get your mother!"
"Okay daddy!" All three of his kids responded happily, and just like that they followed him out of the beach pad and into the skies. "Oh, and let's go and get Hazel from Alice!"
"Well…let's celebrate this great news! Let's go back to the club and arrange a little party!" Eva announced to her friends as everyone nodded in agreement and started making their way out of the beach pad.
In Roberto's Hollow…
"So, you went all over Brazil trying to find me? How comes you didn't go to Rio to begin with?" Jewel asked Roberto as he laid in the nest next to Jacqueline.
"Well, Jaqui suggested going there in the beginning! But I didn't think a jungle bird like yourself would go to a place where there is a big city!" The muscular blue macaw male responded while looking at his friend smirking at him.
"I'm just glad you guys made it! Beto…I'm sorry about everything! But when I was alone and I had nobody…Blu found me in the Samba club. And we instantly fell in love as the night went on! I hope you can understand?"
"Of course Ju-Ju! I would do exactly the same thing if I was alone and didn't have anyone in my life! But you have a great husband and three kids! I've never seen you this happy! Even when you were with me!"
"Thank you Beto! Thanks for being such a great friend!" Jewel replied happily while friendly patting his back.
"Knock knock! I'm back honey! And I brought guests!" Blu beamed happily as he flew into the nest, followed by Carla, Bia, Tiago and even Hazel was there with them. "Roberto! Jacqueline! These three are mine and Jewel's kids Bia, Carla and Tiago! And this little lady is Hazel, the daughter I thought I didn't have with Alice!"
"Hi mister, hi miss!" Hazel chirped nervously while softly grasping Roberto's wing, with the older macaw trying not to squeeze too much.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Hazel! You are adorable!" Roberto softly spoke to her as he let go of her wing. Hazel blushed and then hid behind Blu.
"Sorry, she's a little shy around new faces! Anyway, Carla, Bia, Tiago! Say hello to Roberto and Jacqueline!"
"Hi!" All three of them chorused while waving at the two older blue macaws.
"Oh Jewel! All of them are perfect! The girls look just like you!" Jacqueline commented while leaning up in the nest to face the blue macaw family.
"Yeah! We are very lucky! Plus…Jewel! I got some great news to tell you!" Blu squawked excitedly, moving his wings around like a crazy bird.
"What is it sweetie?" His wife smiled warmly while approaching him smoothly.
"Tanya and Nightfly are having a baby!"
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THAT'S AMAZING! AHHH!" Jewel shrieked while jumping up and down and zooming out of the hollow at full pace.
"Wow! She was way too excited for that bit of news!" Blu remarked as he watched his wife disappear into the distance.
"That's great news though! About your friend having a baby! Just wish I could get out of this nest and go somewhere!" Jacqueline whined while rubbing her sore talon and wing.
Blu placed a wingtip on his chin to think, and then he clicked his wingtips when he thought of the perfect idea.
"I'll tell you what? How about Roberto can carry you to the samba club. I'll drop the kids off at Alice and Chloe's hollow! Then my friends Diante and Raul can help you with your injuries!" Blu suggested as he helped the blue female onto her talons.
"Are they any good?" Roberto wondered, as he looked at his friend in concern.
"When Jewel damaged her talon playing football with us, Diante, Raul, Tanya and Peter helped her out! They are really good at what they do!"
"You guys were playing football?! I love football!" Roberto beamed happily while clapping his wings together.
"Really? Do you play?"
"Do I play?! I was the captain of the blue macaw team in the Amazon! We never lost a single game and I was the top scorer!"
"Well…would you like to join our team? We could always do with an extra player on the field?"
"Absolutely! But first, let's get little miss moody here to the samba club!" Roberto joked while hovering above Jacqueline.
"Little miss moody? You're one to talk! Should I tell him about the time you stubbed your talon on a rock and screamed like a little bitch!" The irritated female groaned while being picked up by her shoulders. Blu however gulped when he saw his hybrid daughter staring at him curiously.
"Daddy? What's a bitch?" Hazel asked Blu while looking at him curiously. This made Roberto and Jacqueline laugh when she said this. But Blu however wasn't impressed.
"Sweetie…That is a bad word and only adults can say that word! Kids are not allowed to say that word!" Blu whispered to his hybrid daughter while stroking her head feathers.
"Yeah, you cant say fuck either!" Bia chirped cutely, but this also made her father go wide eyed and he scowled at her angrily.
"BIA! Who taught you such foul language?!" He sternly spoke to her, looking at his daughter with eyes full of disappointment.
"I heard one of the adults say that word when I got kidnapped daddy! I'm sorry for saying that!" The youngest daughter cried while wiping away her tears.
Blu softened his expression and scooped Bia up in his wings as she cried.
"It's ok honey. At least you know now that it is a bad word! Now come along! Let's get you all to your aunts Alice and Chloe!"
"Yes daddy!" Bia cooed while jumping down from her father's grasp, and proceeded to fly out of the hollow with Carla, Tiago and Hazel.
"Alright guys! I'll meet you at the samba club! When you get there, ask for Diante and Raul! They'll know what to do!" Blu immediately took off to follow his children back to Alice and Chloe, leaving both of the blue macaws alone.
"Alright! Let's go then!" Roberto spoke to her, as he too spread his wings and left the hollow immediately to go to the samba club.
Back In The Samba Club…
Tanya and Nightfly announced to their friends that they were going to have a baby, and they were all currently helping to set up the club for a party to celebrate.
Michael, Diante, Raul and Leona were behind the bar replenishing the stock for the evening. The hyacinth female told the white hawks that she's got experience in running a bar so they hired her as a waitress in the club.
Malcom, Lexi, Nico, Violet, Pedro and Zara were sorting out the tables while Martin wrote out name cards for everyone considering he could read and write.
Douglas, Sandro, Kipo and even Tiny who was there helped to set up the lights and speakers for the night.
Tanya, Nightfly, Jameson, Siax, Alex , Rafael and Eva were sitting at one of the tables having a little talk about the evening ahead.
"Hey guys? Where did Sergio and Helena go? Everyone else is here!" Alex pointed out the fact that everyone was there except for the two doves. But Eva knew exactly where they were.
"I don't think they'll be here until later! Sergio and Helena suggested they were going to have a quick nap before the party? No idea why?" The female toucan responded while looking at the door.
"Well, I hope they can make it! Helena was very excited when she found out that I was pregnant! As soon as I told her, she quickly ushered Sergio out of the door and…oh…so that's what they are doing!" Tanya spoke with a bit of curiosity as she watched her friends staring at her in confusion.
"I know they've tried to have a baby for a while now, but do you really think that's what they are doing?" Zara asked her with a curious eyebrow raised.
"I don't know really…it's a possibility?" Tanya responded unsurely while twiddling her wingtips.
"Look guys! Jewel made it!" Pedro happily squawked while pointing to the door.
The female spix's macaw ran through the door entrance and gave Tanya a warm hug as soon as she saw her.
"Congratulations Tanya! I'm so happy for you!" Jewel squealed happily as she separated from the hug.
"Thanks Jewel! It's good to see that you are feeling better! Is Blu alright?"
"Yeah he's ok! He's going to drop by later with Roberto and another new face! An old friend of mine named Jacqueline! You're gonna love her!" Jewel claimed before hearing a certain someone calling her by her nickname.
"Ju-Ju! We are here to see Diante and Raul!" Roberto announced their arrival as he entered the club with the injured Jacqueline.
"You called?" Diante answered as himself and his cousin flew over to the blue macaws with warm smiles on their faces. "I'm Diante and this is my cousin Raul! How can we help?"
"My name is Roberto, it's nice to see you again! This is my friend Jacqueline, but she's in bad shape! Please can you help her?"
"Absolutely! Raul! Get the medical supplies! Since Tanya is pregnant we can't ask her to help so can you also get Martin?" Diante ordered to his cousin. The white hawk nodded his head and immediately went out back with Martin to get the supplies. "Don't worry! I'll also get your face looked at!"
"Thank you Diante! I really appreciate it!" Jacqueline smiled at the white hawk as Roberto placed her down on one of the chairs.
"You're welcome! Now, you just sit and relax! We will do what we can! Raul! Where's the supplies?"
"Right here cousin!" Raul responded as he got the medical supplies and Martin came over to them to help.
"Hey there darling! My name is Martin! It's soooo great to meet you!" The green winged male beamed as he shook wings with the blue female.
"Wow! It's been a long time since I've met a gay bird! This is so cool!"
"Guiltyyyyy! Me and Douglas are the only gay couple I know of in Rio!" Martin beamed in a feminine voice as he took a look at her talon, while Diante and Raul got to work on her wing.
Roberto smiled at his new friends while crossing his wings. He looked over his left shoulder and noticed about ten to eleven females were all staring at him in awe.
Roberto smiled mischievously and flexed his muscles while winking at the girls playfully, blowing a kiss in their direction.
At least half of them screamed in delight while the others just swooned in awe.
"I think I'm gonna like it here!" He said to himself as he waltzed to the bar to get a drink. "Hey Michael is it? Can I get a mango juice?"
The white hawk spun around to look at him briefly, but then immediately shook his head at him before walking away.
"What the? What's his problem?" Roberto thought to himself as the white hawk walked away from him. Leona walked up to Roberto and leaned on the bar in front of him.
"Don't take it personally Roberto! He has a…hard time forgiving people who cause trouble straight away! Give him time, he'll come around!" The hyacinth female seriously spoke to him as she gave him a glass of vodka and mango juice. "FYI I added a little vodka to the mango juice! Blu and Jewel's favourite drink!"
"Erm…what is vodka?" Roberto replied unsurely while having a look at the drink unsurely.
"Not a city bird I take it? It's a drink that will make you feel more…confident shall we say?"
"Really? I'm pretty confident already…but I suppose I can give it a shot? Bottoms up!" Roberto spoke confidently as he downed his drink very quickly. Feeling the taste of the strong drink running down his throat…he absolutely loved it! "Woooo! Give me one more!"
"Alright! But take it easy!" Leona giggled as she gave him another drink.
Jewel watched this from the table where she was sitting with Tanya, and she immediately started to feel worried for her friend.
"Oh no…this is not going to be good!" The blue spix's macaw female whispered to her friend who nodded in agreement.
2 Hours Later…
"WOOOOO! COME ON GUYS! LET US DANCE!" Roberto screamed in a drunk pitchy voice as he was doing the moonwalk on the dancefloor.
Jewel rolled her eyes and wingpalmed herself in annoyance while staring at her best friend who was completely intoxicated.
"Oh for fuck sake! I told him not to drink too much! He's had six drinks already…and now he's dancing with Lexi!" Jewel groaned in annoyance while watching her best friend doing the salsa with the scarlet macaw female.
"Where is Malcom anyway? Wasn't he supposed to be here by now?" Zara spoke up while noticing that Lexi's boyfriend was nowhere to be seen.
"Last I heard, he was talking to Tiny and Kipo about something? I don't know, maybe he's with them?" Pedro suggested as he watched Roberto falling on his back again. "Jewel, your ex boyfriend has got skills! He's definitely gonna get laid tonight!"
"PEDRO!" The blue jay female slapped him across the face which sent him flying off of his stool. "Roberto is a good friend of Jewel now! Please don't call him Jewel's ex boyfriend!"
"It's ok Zara! Technically yes, he was my ex boyfriend. But like I said I've found my soul mate! Speaking of which, didn't he go outside with Michael?" Jewel asked the cardinal who nodded his head at her.
"Yeah, Blu read something in a book about how he has to clean his eye socket out every now and then to avoid infections. Honestly, I know I give Blu a hard time about it but…he's actually a really intelligent bird! He knows about things that we can't even explain!" Pedro explained to her before getting back up onto the stool.
"You know, I think that's the first genuine thing I heard you say about him Pedro!" Jewel smiled at her friend warmly who smiled in return.
"Well, I have to try and do it more often! I know I can be an asshole sometimes!"
"Yeah, but you are also a great guy Pedro! Don't forget that!" Jewel responded as she immediately laid her eyes on her friend who was now doing something…pretty terrible! "BETO?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Roberto had leaned in and kissed Lexi passionately on the beak! But the only problem was that Lexi didn't stop the kiss! In fact, she was rather enjoying it!
"BETO! STOP THAT!" Roberto immediately shot his eyes wide open, and realised what he was doing. He pushed Lexi away from him and immediately started staggering over to his friend who narrowed her eyes at him. "What the hell do you think you are doing?!"
"Ju-Ju…I…I didn't mean to? I…I don't know w-w-what's wrong with me?" Roberto slurred while tripping up over the bat that Jameson had left near the bar. "OWWW! MY NOSE!"
"Woah…relax there Jewel! It was only a kiss? It doesn't mean anything?" Lexi put a wing on her hip while posing in a sassy manner. But she was also clearly drunk.
"Oh you mean cheating on Malcom doesn't mean anything to you?" Jewel snapped back at her while placing a wing on her hip.
"Oh please! You're one to talk! Being engaged to one bird and then instantly sleeping with the next blue macaw you see! That's what we girls call a slut!" Lexi snapped back while clicking her wingtips at her.
"What did you just call me?" Jewel started shaking in anger while approaching the scarlet female.
"I called you…a…slut!"
"Oh that is it! You and me outside!" Jewel screamed as she stormed outside with Lexi following behind her.
Malcom just entered the club through the back exit and saw his girlfriend leaving the club with Jewel in a pretty awful mood. He tapped Alex on the shoulder and wondered what was going on.
"Alex? What happened here?" He asked the snowy owl male who turned to face him with a nervous glare.
"Lexi and Roberto got a bit drunk and they kissed! But it wasn't Lexi's fault who started the kiss, but it is her fault that she didn't stop it!" The snowy owl responded while looking at the scarlet male who for some reason didn't even do anything.
"Wow…I see."
"What? Aren't you angry that Roberto kissed your girlfriend?"
"Well sure I am! But they were drunk! It didn't mean anything, especially since Lexi told me she's got a habit of doing this when she gets drunk!" Malcom responded calmly while looking at the muscular blue male who started tearing up in the corner. "Alex, you, Tanya and Eva need to try and break up the fight! I'm gonna go and talk to Roberto about what happened!"
"Are you sure that's a good idea? You're not going to hit him are you?"
"Nope! Just need to try and find out why he did what he did! Now go!" The scarlet male ordered his friend. The snowy owl male nodded his head and asked Tanya and Eva to follow him outside. While he took a deep breath and walked up to Roberto. "Dude, we need to talk!"
Roberto looked up at the scarlet male with teary eyes and he extended his wing at him to try and grab his wing.
"I'm so sorry Malcom! I don't know what was in that drink, but it made me lose control of my body! I'm sorry about this!" Roberto cried while standing up on his talons, and immediately sitting back down again due to his legs.
"That's called being drunk. You'll get used to it! Look I'm not here for trouble, I just want to talk to you about what happened?" Malcom responded calmly while sitting down opposite the blue intoxicated male.
"Well, I had several of these vodka and mango juices. Then after a few of them I started to feel a bit light headed. Then I was dancing with Lexi, which by the way was friendly of course!"
"Yeah it's understandable! Carry on?"
"Then she had a few of them drinks too and we got so caught up in the moment that I leaned in and kissed her! But if it wasn't for Jewel I probably wouldn't have stopped! I'm such an idiot!" Roberto angrily shouted while banging his wing on the bar.
"Roberto…you're not an idiot! These things happen! I remember when I got drunk in the samba club, I kissed at least three birds in one night! But it didn't mean anything? In fact, Lexi was the second girl I kissed! But I chose her because after the third kiss she pulled me away from the club and told me that she liked me! Look at us a few months later, we are now a couple! Things happen Roberto! You just have to learn from them!" Malcom explained as he got a glass of water and gave it to him.
"Wow, thanks Malcom! You're a great guy!" Roberto smiled at his new friend as he started drinking his glass of water.
"You're welcome! Just…take it easy on the drinking for now! I don't think your girlfriend Jacqueline will like that!"
"Oh she's not my girlfriend! She is my friend!" Roberto responded while blushing in embarrassment.
"Really? I saw the way she looked at you when you brought her here! You sure there isn't something there?" Malcom asked him while raising a curious eyebrow.
"Well…I mean…maybe…" Roberto was about to continue speaking. But then all of a sudden, Blu had entered the club holding Jewel, and Michael was restraining Lexi who clearly was trying to escape from the tight clutches of the white hawk.
"Let me go! I promise I won't hit her!" Lexi cried while struggling to get out of his tight grip on her body.
"Nope! I'm not falling for that again! One time is enough!" The white hawk groaned in annoyance while rolling his eyes.
"Maybe if she learned not to be an aggressive drunk then maybe Malcom wouldn't resent her so much!" Jewel snapped while trying to get out of Blu's grip.
"That's enough honey! If myself and Michael weren't there to break you guys up then either if you would be seriously hurt!" Blu sternly spoke to his wife while holding her still.
Malcom looked up at Lexi who immediately locked eyes with him and stopped trying to escape. She started tearing up instead and looked at the floor in shame.
"You think I've been…resentful towards you lately? Why would you think that?" The scarlet male asked his girlfriend as he approached her slowly.
Michael let go of the scarlet female and wiped away her tears. She slowly walked up to her boyfriend and brushed a wing against his face as he closed his eyes in relaxation.
"Ever since I told you I wanted to have a baby with you, you're always saying you're too tired, or you're busy with friends! I thought that I was losing you!" Lexi simply responded while approaching her boyfriend.
"Sweetie…it's not that I don't want to have a baby with you! I really do! It's just that…I like things the way they are right now! I'm afraid of big changes!"
"Well…why didn't you say anything?"
"I was worried that you'd freak out on me and leave me! Look, I know we haven't said this to each other a lot…and…and it's probably something you'd want to hear a lot! But I…I…I love you! I love you so much! But let's not have a baby right away! Let's give it a month or so? Just until we both feel it's the right time?" Malcom suggested while stroking her back with his wing.
"Ok…maybe I have been a little too forward with you! I'm sorry, and I love you too!" Lexi and Malcom kissed passionately on the beak, making their friends smile at them.
Blu looked over his shoulder and noticed his wife trying to calm Roberto down after his little moment of weakness. It did obviously make him feel a bit angry that Roberto kissed his friend's girlfriend. But he knows that anything could happen when you're drunk due to…past experiences!
"I'm sorry Ju-Ju! I didn't realise how much that drink can effect your mind! I'm going to try not to drink too much next time!" Roberto whispered while chugging his third glass of water.
"Just sober up Beto!" Jewel beamed as she flew over to Blu and landed in front of him with her husband smirking at her. "Alright! Alright! Let me have it! Say that I went too overboard!"
"I'm not going to say anything Jewel! Lexi was drunk and started a fight with you! This sort of thing happens right? I say we get Roberto, Jacqueline, Lexi and Malcom home so they can rest up ahead of tomorrow!" Blu explained as he nodded his head towards Malcom who proceeded to pick up his drunk girlfriend.
"What's happening tomorrow Blu?" Jewel cocked her head to the side in confusion.
"Well, we are moving the celebration party to tomorrow because of tonight's events! We should get everyone here feeling refreshed and ready for a real party!"
"What a fantastic idea Blu! Did you come up with that?"
"It was Tanya's idea! In fact, Nightfly, Tanya, Nico, Violet, Pedro, Zara, Rafael and Eva have already gone home! They wanted to rest up for tomorrow as we are making it an all day party with a game of football as well! I think Roberto will enjoy that!" Blu replied as he helped Jewel pick up the muscular blue male who was really heavy.
"Ouch! My back!" Jewel whined as she dropped her friend on the floor, who groaned in pain.
"Ouch! My face!" Roberto groaned as he slowly sat up from where he had been dropped.
"Oh my god! Beto! Are you okay?" Jewel gasped while checking his face for further injuries.
"Yeah…sorry I'm too heavy!" The blue male slurred while blinking his eyes several times.
"Ugh! I'll help you Roberto!" The trio of blue macaws looked up to see Michael standing over him while crossing his wings. "But let's get one thing clear! This doesn't mean that I like you! It just means I'm doing a nice thing for Jewel's friend!"
"Understood! Thank you!"
"Good! Now let's get you home! Diante! Raul! Help Jaqui get home!" The white hawk ordered his friends as he picked up the drunk bird and carried him out of the door.
"Goodnight Ju-Ju!"
"Goodnight Beto!" Jewel waved to her friend as they disappeared into the jungle.
Blu started chuckling to himself while covering his face with his wing, and this of course made Jewel slightly frown at him.
"What's so funny?"
"Oh nothing…Ju-Ju!" Blu started laughing out loud again, making his wife slightly giggle in response.
"Oh stop it! It's just a nickname that Roberto gave me growing up! I always called him Beto!" She giggled before giving him a playful shove.
"So what's my nickname then? Blu-Blu? Bluey? Blutiful?"
"Blutiful?"
"Yeah, Blu and beautiful pushed together! Blutiful!"
"No that's definitely not going to work Blu!" Jewel rolled her eyes at him as she turned her attention towards the blue spix's macaw approaching her with Diante and Raul. "Hey Jacqueline! How do you feel?"
"I feel wonderful Jewel! Not only because I hardly feel pain anymore…but I got touched in different places by two handsome white hawks!" The blue female giggled and winked at the two male white hawks who blushed a bright red.
"Anyway, we should get you home Jacqueline! Come along Raul!"
"Right behind you cousin!" Raul beamed as he picked Jacqueline up by her shoulders and Diante took the medical supplies.
"Night Jewel! I'll see you tomorrow!"
"Goodnight Jaqui! Sweet dreams!" Jewel beamed as she saw her friend being carried off by Diante and Raul.
"Now, I think Douglas and Martin are still here with Sandro, Leona, Alex, Siax, Jameson, Kipo, Tiny, Helena and Sergio if you want to stick around?" Blu asked his wife as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Why not? We could stay for a couple more drinks can't we sweetie!"
"Come on then!" Blu grabbed Jewel's wing and escorted her over to the table in the corner of the room where Douglas and Martin were telling them something which made them tear up.
"What's going on? Why are you guys crying?" Jewel asked her friends in concern as they looked at her with teary eyes.
"Martin just told us about what happened when he had an owner! And it was heartbreaking!" Siax cried while leaning on her boyfriend who was also tearing up.
"I still can't believe she passed away! It's so sad! You poor poor thing!" Leona softly spoke to him while rubbing his wing in a friendly manner.
"It's ok guys! I'm happy! I'm in a relationship! And I am ready to party tomorrow night!" Martin squawked out loud while his friends chuckled at him.
"Well, i'd like to propose a toast!" Blu announced to the remaining birds in the club who all rose their glasses up in the air. "To new friends! To a new beginning! To a new future!"
"HERE HERE!" Everyone chorused as they all chugged down their drinks.
Blu and Jewel spent at least a few more hours at the club with their friends as they had a lot of laughs, a lot of cries, and a lot of drama. But one thing was for certain…they knew exactly what their day was going to be like tomorrow.
The Next Day…
The beautiful golden sun had reached the highest point in the sky. Sending its hot rays of heat and light over the beautiful city.
Currently our favourite party birds were all at the Maracanã for a game of football that they all put together at the very last minute. Tanya was on the sidelines with Eva and Jacqueline as they watched the birds raring to go.
Blu, Jewel, Roberto, Douglas, Martin and Sandro were on one team. Then there were Nightfly, Michael, Nico, Pedro, Jameson and Alex on the other team.
"You ready to go, you blue wimps!" Alex mocked them while throwing a ball up and down with his talons.
"Being it on you little flying puffy pillow! You're going down!" Sandro mocked in return while getting himself into a strong position.
"Wow! I've never seen Roberto this happy in a long time! Maybe playing for team samba club has really made him feel more confident! Especially after last night!" Jacqueline whispered to Siax who nodded her head in agreement.
"I just hope that one day Blu and Jewel's kids with our soon to be kids will play together some day in the future!" Tanya added while clapping her wings together as the game was about to begin.
Lexi strolled onto the pitch with a big smile on her beak, and Malcom was sitting on the sidelines with Tiny and Kipo.
"Alright ladies and gents! Let's get this game started!" Lexi shouted to her friends, and she blew her whistle to signal the start of the game.
(Authors Note: I'm not doing the entire game…because I'm saving some excitement for the new story! As you were XD)
Alex picked up the ball and immediately kicked it over to Michael, who controlled it perfectly on his right talon. Then he volleyed it over the top to Jameson who scored a wonderful goal with a powerful and thunderous scissor kick.
"HELL YEAH! 1-0 BITCHES!" The black owl cheered happily, high fiving his teammates and chest bumping Alex.
"Oh yeah? NOT FOR LONG!" Roberto chuckled as he immediately picked up the ball and started flying around all of the players on the opposite team. But as soon as he was about to shoot, Pedro sneakily took the ball from him and passed it to Nico.
Nico flicked the ball over to Nightfly who was in goal for their team. Then he drop kicked it over to Peter, who unfortunately lost the ball to Jewel.
The female spix's macaw flicked it upwards and belted it up the pitch to Blu, who managed to kick it really low and powerfully into the bottom corner.
"BOOM! THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE!" Blu cheered happily as he did a couple of mid air somersaults and kissed his wife on the beak. As well as high fiving Roberto, Sandro, Douglas and Martin.
As the game went on, Roberto scored a treble. Jewel scored a treble. Blu scored a second, and Michael managed to score a treble, taking the score to 8-4 to Blu's team.
They decided to call it quits and head to the samba club for a few more drinks! That was all going very swimmingly for them…until Martin suggested playing a drinking game. Of course this made Blu and Nightfly roll their eyes in annoyance, making Jewel and Tanya giggle.
The crowd entered the club all at once, and due to how many there were they decided that it would only be a private party for Nightfly and Tanya's friends. The hyacinth female didn't mind if a few of the locals wanted to come along and celebrate with them, but Nightfly decided against it considering how many there were.
"Oh come on sweetie? I know there are a lot of us here! But can't we let some of the locals in? Tiny is here! But she didn't come along to any of our adventures! Plus Purita has come back from vacation in Argentina! She was never here for our little fight with Julio?"
"I know honey! But Purita is Nico's cousin so we couldn't say no! Plus Tiny was here in the club with Xavier, Diante and Raul! So technically she did help out while we were away!" Nightfly responded while stroking the belly of her girlfriend making her giggle in delight.
"Guys! Let's get ready for another game! I'm so ready for this!" The green winged male beamed happily while shaking his tail feathers.
"Work it honey! Work it!" Douglas spoke in a feminine voice while spanking Martin's butt. "OWWW!"
All of their friends laughed when they saw this little cute moment between them and all got their glasses at the ready. However Roberto and Lexi were unsure about this.
"So…how does this game work? I've never played a drinking game before?" The muscular blue male wondered while staring at all of the new faces.
"It's called kiss or dare! It's a game that I made up after playing never have I ever in São Paulo!" Martin responded as he winked at his boyfriend who blushed deeply.
"How does the game work?" Lexi wondered while positioning herself closer to Malcom who kissed her on the cheek.
"So, you notice we have a bottle on the table! You have to spin the bottle around on the table, and whoever it lands on you can either pick kiss. Which means you spin the bottle yourself and whoever it lands on you have to kiss them! But if you pick dare, we have to dare you to do something! This is gonna be great!" The green winged male beamed excitedly, as their friends all smiled mischievously at each other. "Oh and if you choose not to do it, you have to finish your drink!"
"Can I go first?" Tiny spoke up as she hopped on the table due to her smaller size. She then span the bottle very slowly.
The bottle spun around and landed on Martin. Everyone cheered in the group as Martin started laughing into his wings.
"What a backfire that's was!" Blu joked while clapping his wings together.
"I pick…dare!"
"Alright…Martin, I dare you to spank Pedro on his ass!" Blu ordered him, making the cardinal sigh in annoyance.
"Alright…come here Martin!" The red crested cardinal spun around until his butt was facing the green winged male.
"Alright honey! Take a deep breath!" Martín smiled mischievously as he rubbed his wings together. And then with one swift motion he slapped him on the ass really hard.
"OWWWW! THAT HURT!" Pedro whined while rubbing his butt.
"Stop being a little bitch!" Michael smirked at him as the cardinal gave him a death stare.
"Oh come on, you loved it really!" Rafael joked while the rest of his friends started laughing and banging their wings on the table.
"Can I go next?" Jacqueline asked while raising her wing up in the air. "Alright! Here goes nothing!"
She spun the bottle with her good wing, and in spun around pretty quickly. Until it landed on Michael who got very nervous at this point.
"Oh crap…I pick…kiss!" The white hawk spoke out, making everyone give him kissy faces and doing wolf whistles towards him. "Yeah yeah very funny!"
He spun the bottle again, but this time it landed on someone who he one hundred percent didn't want it to land on.
"Oh my god! It landed on Roberto!" Jewel shrieked in a high pitch voice which made Roberto start to stutter.
"Oh god…just finish your drink! I don't want t-t-to do this!"
"Why? Something wrong with the way I look?" Michael joked with him as he approached him from around the table. "It's only a game Roberto! Unless…you're afraid?"
"Dude, I'm a guy! You're a guy! It's weird! Plus you don't like me!"
"Oh so now you're saying that Martin and Douglas are weird?" He responded mischievously while standing face to face with him.
"N-N-No of course not! I just feel uncomfortable kissing a guy!"
"Too late!" He grabbed Roberto by the shoulders and gave him a quick kiss on the beak. Making everyone cheer in laughter as the white hawk went back to his seat, while Roberto was coughing afterwards.
"I can't believe you did that!" Jacqueline laughed out loud while slapping Roberto on the back.
"Let's…never…speak of this!" The blue male whispered to his friend as she was crying tears of laughter.
"My turn!" Sandro spoke up as he spun the bottle rather quickly. But it eventually landed on Sergio who immediately knew what he was picking.
"I pick dare!" The dove immediately answered while tapping his wings on the table.
"Wow! That was quick! I dare you to pour your drink on Roberto's head!" Michael again smiled mischievously at the blue male while leaning back in his chair.
"Why me again? What did I do to you?!" Roberto whined while staring at the white hawk.
"Don't worry Roberto I'm not that evil!" The Spanish dove smiled at him while chugging the rest of his vodka and blueberry juice. "Yo! Diante! Another one please!"
"You got it bro!" The white hawk beamed as he immediately went behind the bar to make another drink for him.
Everyone had a turn at spinning the bottle, and there were some weird moments. Lexi had to kiss Leona, making Malcom and Sandro drool on the table. Siax had to give Kipo a lap dance which…kind of annoyed Alex. Speaking of him, he had to feed grapes to Martin while he called him your highness. Then after a while the only birds left to spin the bottle were Jewel, Tanya, Nightfly, Blu and Douglas.
"Honey! Your turn!" Nightfly said to his girlfriend as she spun the bottle with her wing. Luckily it landed on her boyfriend who smiled at her warmly. "Kiss or dare sweetheart!"
"I pick dare honey!" Tanya smoothly spoke to him while batting her eyelashes.
"I dare you…to do me the honour…" Nightfly immediately spun her around and got down on one knee. Making all of their friends gasp in surprise, including Roberto and Jacqueline. "Of marrying me!"
"Oh Nightfly…YES! YES I WILL MARRY YOU!" She squealed happily as she stood him up onto his talons and wrapped his wings around him while kissing him passionately on the beak.
"Oh my god! I think Nightfly just won kiss or dare!" Martin beamed happily as he ran up to the blue couple and gave them a big hug. "I'm soooo happy for you guys!"
"Congratulations!" Jewel beamed as she gave both of them a hug as well.
"Well done bro!" Alex added as he too joined the group hug. Then pretty soon everyone joined together and hugged the two blue birds who held each other close together.
"Come on Roberto! Get involved!" Michael spoke out to the blue male who nodded his head at him and joined the group hug. "This doesn't mean that I like you!"
"I know! I know!" Roberto laughed as the entire group of birds were enjoying the group hug.
"Well! Why are we all just standing around and hugging?! Let's get this party started! HIT IT KIPO!" Tiny spoke time the spoonbill who laughed in response and turned on the music.
"Hold on a minute Ju-Ju! I got this!" Roberto chuckled at his friend as he immediately flew to the stage and took the mic off of the stand.
"What is he doing?" Nightfly wondered while smiling at the blue macaw on the stage.
"Hey there ladies and gentlemen! I know I've not had the best start here in Rio! But I wanna sing a song especially for Tanya and Nightfly! This is for you!" Roberto nodded to Malcom who immediately took over from Kipo and started playing a song on the karaoke machine.

As the song began, everyone began dancing on the dance floor to this great song. Michael and Jameson were particularly impressed by his singing ability.
"Wow! Great singing voice! Plus it's the perfect song for the occasion!" Michael beamed in surprise while the black owl nodded his head in agreement.
Roberto: Well I know this little chapel on the boulevard we can go,
No one will know, come on girl!
Who cares if we're trashed I got a pocket full of cash we can blow,

Blu and Jewel moved in perfect synchronisation while dancing to the music. Blu dipped her a couple of times which made her giggle and he kissed on the side of her beak.
"Wow! He can sing, he can dance, he can play football really well! I can see why you were with him before me!" Blu joked while winking at his blushing wife.
"I know right? Just kidding honey! You're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with!" Jewel responded in bliss, laying her head on Blu's chest.
Douglas and Martin were dancing a few metres away from them and they were really enjoying the song.
"This is a fantastic song! Don't you agree honey?" Douglas whispered to Martin while spinning him around.
"I know! Plus I love the singing! But your singing is better!" Martin winked at his boyfriend as he threw him up in the air and he spun back around to face him.
Roberto: I'll go get a ring, let the choir bells sing like, oh!

Everyone in the club rose to their feet and clapped their wings together as Roberto finished the song. Even Peter was clapping and smiling at him.
"Thank you guys! I wish happiness to the new married couple!" Roberto shouted before giving the mic back to Kipo and joining the others on the dance floor.
"That was amazing Beto! You still haven't lost your touch!" Jewel beamed happily as she gave Roberto a fist bump.
"Thank you Roberto! You have no idea how much that meant to us!" Tanya added while giving the blue male a hug.
"Hey, it was no big deal really! I just wanted to do something nice for you guys! I've been a jerk since I met you!" Roberto replied sincerely while giving fist bumps and hugs to the rest of the group. Until he was face to face with Michael.
"Roberto…I won't lie to you! I didn't like you when I first met you! The way you treated my friend! The way you kissed my friend's girlfriend last night! But…after what you did just now! I can't stay mad at you…friend!" Michael softly spoke to him as he extended his wing to shake with Roberto.
"Thanks! I promise from now on, I'm not going to come in between two birds again! You have my word!"
"Great to hear buddy! Now…let's get back to partying!" Michael requested to Kipo as himself, Malcom and Tiny immediately started playing some tunes.
As everyone was dancing to the music, Tanya felt a bit uneasy and decided to leave the club with Nightfly for a moment.
As soon as they got outside, Tanya sat down on a crate and Nightfly sat next to her to make sure she was ok.
"Hey! Are you ok my new fiancée?" Nightfly whispered to Tanya who immediately smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I'm fine my handsome fiancé! I'm just feeling a little ill that's all!" Tanya responded while giving her partner a kiss on the cheek.
The two of them sighed deeply while wrapped in each other's wings. Then Nightfly all of a sudden felt a chill running down his spine.
"Woah! Are you ok?"
"Yeah…it's just that…" Nightfly looked over his right shoulder at some trees behind him. Then stared at them briefly before turning back to his partner. "I felt like we were being watched! But I guess it's just my imagination creeping up on me!"
"Honey…Julio is dead! We made sure of that! I'm sure nobody is going to come after us this time! Now come on! Our friends are waiting for us!" She whispered to him seductively while grabbing his wing and luring him inside.
Before Nightfly joined his soon to be wife, he took one last look at the trees and whispered to himself in a low voice so Tanya wouldn't hear.
"Don't be so stupid Nightfly! There is clearly nothing there!" The blue macaw then rejoined the rest of his friends and enjoyed the rest of their celebration.
If only he knew…who was lurking in the shadows!
A Few Yards Away…
There was in fact a bird lurking in the shadows. Watching over the samba club as his wings trembled with rage and hate.
"Those…fucking…macaws!" He angrily whispered to himself, before disappearing into the jungle with another bird who had just joined him.
"Sir…is it them? Are they the ones who did that to Julio?" One of the birds asked while flying besides his mentor.
"Yes! If only I was there to help him! He was too reckless! Too stupid to kill them! Only relying on numbers and one macaw! When really he should have had hatred against all of them!" The bird grumbled while landing inside of a tree hollow. His associate pinched his nose with his beak and decided to wait outside.
"Sir…did you really have to bring that here from São Paulo? You realise how unsanitary that is?!"
"Will you shut the fuck up Thomas! Let me deal with this myself!" The bird responded as he approached the centre of the hollow. He got down on one knee and closed his eyes while staring at a certain…something in the hollow.
Laying there…in the hollow was Julio's dead corpse just laying in the middle of the floor. But instead of it being headless, he stuck a bag on the top of it as if he were still alive. Which creeped Thomas out.
"Don't worry…my brother! My nephews and their friends will pay for they did to you! I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you! But I'm here now…and they…shall…all…DIE!" The bird who revealed to be Julio's brother, screamed at the corpse and crushed a mango in his bare talon in rage!
Well well well! I don't know about you guys? But I extremely enjoyed writing this chapter! Plus I'm so excited to share with you the next part of this story! So unfortunately this is the end of 'The Adventures Of The Samba Club' but don't you worry! Our friends will return for a third instalment that I've immediately started writing and planning! So again a massive thank you to all of you who have read and commented on this story! Plus the named authors who have allowed me to use their OC's! Because I also have another idea for a Christmas related story in the same universe! So…for now my brothers and sisters!
