Bakugou Katsuki
"EHHH?! YOU'RE RELATED!" The class screamed in shock, excluding the three persons of interest.
Class 1-A watched on as the female upperclassman continued to latch onto their explosive classmate.
"Tch," Bakugou Katsuki pointedly stared at the wall, headphones firmly covering his ears.
"U-Um, they're a-actually siblings," Izuku Midoriya stuttered, a blush joining his freckles as the staring of his classmates intensified.
The third, and only female of the trio giggled, tightening her arms around the neck of the now fuming blonde.
"Kacchan here is my little brother!" Kagome Higurashi declared.
"WHAT!"
"SHUT UP. BY NOT EVEN A YEAR," Katsuki barked, whipping his head to glare at the smiling ravenette, "AND WHAT'S IT TO YOU FUCKERS, HUH?! IT DOESN'T MEAN SHE'S AVAILABLE!"
"Whatever you say, Kacchan," She mused, promptly pressing her lips into her brother's cheek. Kagome's black hair flew around the duo, thrown into the air as the nitroglycerin ignited from her brother's hands.
"My name is Higrurashi, Kagome. Second year, but you guys can all call me senpai! Or Kagome-chan!"
"GET THE HELL OFF ME HAG!"
"Now, I hope he's been treating you all well!" The second-year chirped, arms blatantly closing even further, "I made sure to give him a stern talking before the semester began. But I think you all know how he can be."
The underclassmen struggled to answer as they watched Katsuki begin choking and pulling at the pale arms around his neck. The situation only becoming more bizarre at the charming smile on Kagome's face.
As sparks began igniting, a bright flash of pink blinded the gapping classmates. When they came to, they paled at the sight.
Bakugou Katsuki was in full rage mode, sparks turning into mini explosions. However the verbal expletives that were most likely flying from his mouth and any sound in general was muted. From Kagome's elbows and down to the floor, Bakugou Katsuki was encased in an opaque pink bubble.
"Oh, don't worry about him. He'll calm down," She stated casually, sufficiently amused by the horror developing in her kouhai's faces.
"W-Wait, Higurashi-senpai!" The tall, bespectacled underclassman peeped, "Why is it you have a different surname and do not look directly related?"
'LIDA-KUN/SAN' The class thought, horrified and slightly embarrassed that they class rep could ask so blatantly what they were all thinking.
A bark of laughter rang like bells, enamoring the younger students.
"You're definitely direct! What's your name kouhai-chan?"
"T-Tenya, L-Lida!" The boy shouted as a blush overtook his face, his face nearly crashing into the floor as he bent down into a bow.
"Well it's nice to meet you Tenya-chan! I'm sure you'll all find out eventually, I'm adopted! But I love my family like my own, especially my dear younger brother. And I am very excited to meet all of you. I think we'll all just have the best of time together. I hope you'll take care of me," She continued pleasantly, as she bowed the slightest.
"Higurashi, I asked you take attendance. Not harass my students," The familiar droll of their homeroom teacher rolled over the students.
Said Higurashi seemed to have the decency to look sheepish, smile turning apologetic.
"I'm sorry Aizawa-sensei," Kagome then dragged the now-exhausted blonde to his assigned seat and dropped him, "I'll take attendance now!"
"I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS KAGS."
An exasperated sigh left the teacher, "There's no point in that anymore. I already did it."
"Ah! Thank you Aizawa-sensei! As expected of my mentor," Kagome nodded with a teasing glint in her eyes.
"Don't make me kick you out."
"Yes, sir!"
"Get up here. And the rest of you," Blood-shot eyes flashed, prompting the remaining standing students to flash into their seats.
Kagome stood obediently beside the scuffed teacher, hands tucked behind her.
"This is Kagome Higurashi, she'll be my aid this year. Bother her with your questions. And don't expect her to go easy on you, she's here to help beat you into shape," Aizawa's blank face twisted into a rare malicious grin.
"You'll all be safe in my care!" A similar dark grin twisted her rather angelic face.
The class somehow doubted her words.
"Fuck," Bakugou bit.
They shared his sentiment.
Kagome peaked at her younger brother from her spot on his bed. His back hunched forwards as he studied dutifully. Her observing blue eyes softening as she spotted his calloused hands. As much as her heart burst in happiness when he was accepted into the hero course at her school, in first place nonetheless, it also brought on a sense of sadness.
"Oy, get that expression off your face, senpai," Her dear brother cut in, an unreadable expression on his face.
The heroine-in-training returned his stare, a strange silence stretching across the room before a tired smile eased onto her lips.
"Sorry Kac-chan, I'm just tired is all."
"Yeah, well that's cause you're lazy and don't know how to do shit."
The blue-eyed girl gasped mockingly.
"My heart! My darling little brother speaking to me in such a way-"
Kagome rolled her eyes in mirth as Katsuki turned back to his desk with a snort.
She dropped her head back onto his pillow and relaxed.
"But you know," She continued wistfully, "This year is going to be great. You're my good luck charm and I can tell you're going to great things."
Glazed eyes stared up at the ceiling, missing the pair of ruby eyes glancing her way.
"Who else is going to save your ass."
She smiled in response.
"Maybe Izuku-kun, he's gotten so cute and he has such a powerful quirk."
"WHAT!"
