So those daily uploads have been biting me in the ass :) Ya girls exhausted, I wanted to rewrite two chapters today to make up for missing my upload yesterday but I might just sit back and watch a movie instead, my apologies for that. I will be back with Chapter 8 tomorrow!

Also, please let me know if I should remove the old story as I start to reupload the new chapters one by one!

''So, where exactly are we going?'' Jane asked curiously as Maura drove away from the Beacon Hill home, the agent was scared she might know the people they would run in to and that it would escalate again.

Maura said, ''As I said before, we are going to a friends place.'' she said, knowing that if she would reveal who the friends were the brunette next to her would run off.

''Yeah I know that, but like – where? And who are these friends?'' the agent asked, shifting in her seat so she could look at the blonde.

''Just stop asking, Jane.'' Maura sighed, clenching her teeth. She couldn't lie properly and didn't want to lie to Jane in general. The blonde tried her hardest to seem angry, hoping Jane would drop it but instead the agent gave her a warm laugh.

''I know you aren't mad at me, Maur. What is so bad about telling me who we are visiting? I don't want to cross paths with any other friends – you saw how Korsak reacted.'' Jane said, a slight smile still lingering on her lips as she kept her eyes on the woman in the drivers seat.

Maura rolled her eyes, ''I ensure you that you wont cross paths with any other friends, Jane. Now please stop asking questions.''
It wasn't a lie, the agent wouldn't be reunited with any friends – she would be reunited with her family.

''Jeez.'' a chuckle. ''Alright then. I'm not a kid, don't tell me what to do.'' Jane defended herself.

''You still work for my family, so I technically can command you.''

Brown eyes widened, ''No you can't! You said I wasn't security detail here, which means I am not on duty and therefor I don't have to take your orders.'' Jane said smugly, but the other woman quickly shut it down.

''You are still wearing you badge, your licenses and your gun. Therefor I can give you orders.'' Maura said, pulling in to a neighborhood with expensive looking houses.
Jane's jaw dropped at the sight of them, they must have been in the same price range as Maura's own house.

''Jesus..'' the agent muttered. ''If your friends live here I'm not sure if they would want me entering their home.'' she said, her eyes shifting from the houses back to her friend who turned in to one of the streets.

Maura knew what Jane meant – mostly because she knew the agent had the tendency to be insecure about herself and her past, and knowing the Rizzoli family and where they lived before the blonde came in to their lives – she didn't question Jane's remark.

''Jane, these people had a hard past too. I helped them get this house as a sign of appreciation for everything they have done for me when I was here. They won't judge you on where you're from.'' Maura said, it again not being an entire lie. They wouldn't judge the agent on her past, perhaps judge her because of her disappearance – but it definitely wouldn't be her past.

Maura pulled up in the driveway of the Rizzoli household, Jane fidgeting in the passengers seat next to her. The blondes mind flashed back to them together earlier in her home, the agent pushing her up against the walls of the house – undressing her. The calloused hands that were now fidgeting then running over her body, leaving a burning traces in the woman's memory.

Jane on the other hand was nervous as to who they would run in to, not knowing who was inside. The brunette hated the unknown, she liked to be prepared for every situation and she couldn't be prepared if she had no information of the event.

''So this is it, huh?'' the brunette questioned as Maura turned off the engine of her silver Prius in front of the family's garage.

Maura nodded, ''Yes, this is it.?'' the woman said, the nerves of the situation now creeping up on her as well. If this went downhill there was a big chance Jane wouldn't want to talk to her anymore.

''What's the matter?'' the agent asked, brown eyes focused on Maura as the women pulled her keys out of the socket and swung open the drivers door of the car.

The blondes voice sound confused. ''Hm?'' she hummed, furrowing her brown and looking back at the brunette – only then realizing what the agent had actually asked her.
''Oh! No, It's nothing. I suppose I'm just tired. It's been a long day.'' Maura responded ever so polite, smiling at Jane.

''Sure..'' Jane said doubtful, unbuckling her belt and getting out of her side of the car.

''I'm serious, Jane.'' Maura sighed as she got out as well, closing her door and looking over the car to the somewhat taller woman.

''Yes, that must explain the hives then.'' the agent said, closing her door and rounding the car. She took Maura's hands in her own with a sympathetic smile on her face.

''I always get hives when its.. about to rain.'' the blonde said quickly, there was no point in stopping the lies now – the hives were already there and Jane was holding her hands.

Jane was holding her hands and smiling at her, she felt her mind go blank for a second as the agent took the car keys from her and locked the vehicle. The blonde felt the keys getting pressed back in to her hands and the taller woman leaned in to her, pressing a brief kiss to her lips.

''Just lets get this dinner over with, Miss Isles.'' Jane muttered, an amused undertone in her voice – presumably by the sight of a stunned Maura Isles.
The blonde took a deep breath and rested her hand on the small of Jane's back, leading her to the front door. She lifted her hand to ring the bell on the frame of the white oak wooden door.

The agent nervously clasped her hands behind her back and Maura could notice how nervous she was and it was undeniable that Maura was as well.
''They are nice people, there is no need to worry Jane.''

''I know you said they wouldn't judge me, but what if they do? Everyone ends up judging me.'' Jane muttered, on queue with the end of her sentence an elderly woman opened the door and Jane could feel her heart stop.
The agent stumbled back a step on the porch by the sight of the woman in the door opening, she could feel Maura's hand quickly reaching out to rest supportively on the slim of her back.

''Oh my God.'' Jane rasped out, a sad smile coming to her face when the elderly woman in the doorway raised her hand to cover her mouth – a shocked expression on her face.

''Oh Janie.'' The elderly woman chocked out, tears visible in the brown eyes that resembled Jane's so much. The woman stepped forward but Jane beat her in closing the distance.

''Ma.'' the agent muttered, her voice giving away how emotional she really was. She found the woman halfway her steps and tightly embraced her in a hug.
Tears rolled down the brunettes cheeks as she felt her mother hugging her back, only now the realization hitting of how much she had actually missed the woman. How was she ever able to leave her?

''What are you doing here?'' Angela whispered in to her daughters shoulder. "I saw you getting shot on television, are you okay?'' she asked worriedly, pulling back from the hug to inspect her daughter.

The lanky woman chuckled softly and wiped away her tears.
''I'm here with Maura. I work at the White House, as you might know now. I'm fine though.'' Jane said quietly, her head perking up at the sound of another voice.

''Hey Ma, do you -'' the boy went quiet when his eyes met Jane's, he rushed passed his mother and practically jumped in to his sisters arms.

Jane's entire body hurt at her brother tackling her in to a hug, but she didn't care. She wrapped her arms around him and could feel him squeezing her and practically lifting her off the ground.
"I missed you too Frankie.'' the agent said amused when her brother put her down again and kissed her cheek.

Maura had watched them all reunite from the porch, a small smile on her face and tears in her eyes as she watched Jane and her brother. This was far from how she had expected this meeting to go. The blonde had expected a furious Angela Rizzoli and an outrageous Frankie – but it was the opposite.

''Again, I'm here with Maura.'' Jane said, her voice hoarse from the emotions as she looked over at the blonde and flashed her a grateful smile. It was without doubt that Maura had known about her family living here, most likely the woman had brought Jane here on purpose. The agent had so many questions, but they were all destined for a later moment.

''Oh Maura, honey it is so good to see you again!'' Angela said excited as she pulled the First Daughter in to a tight hug, upon release Frankie just gave her a small wave with a smile that mirrored Jane's.

Angela ushered everyone inside the house and dragged Frankie with her to set up the rest of the table.

Jane gently closed the door behind herself and Maura, ''Did you know?'' she whispered. Her eyes looked for the hazel once and when they met Maura nodded.

''Yes, I did. I apologize for not telling you, it was -'' the blondes apologetic words died out on the agents lips. Before Maura could properly adjust to the feeling the lips had vanished again. When she looked up she saw Jane looking back at her with a broad smile.

''Thank you.'' the agent whispered, now pressing a kiss to Maura's forehead.

With that the women quietly made their way in to the living room.

Maura was dumbstruck by the sudden affection of Jane, but she couldn't remove the smile of her face when they entered the living room – Frank Senior and Tommy greeting them.

The youngest Rizzoli gave his sister a bright smile.
''Where have you been, Jane?'' he asked, giving Maura a quick hug before turning to his sister and hugging her tightly.

Jane chuckled, hugging her youngest brother back and pressing a kiss to his head.
''I believe we should take a seat and discuss that over dinner, it's quite the story.''
