''I need to get myself a normal pair of jeans.'' Maura muttered as soon as the women entered the Beacon Hill residence again.
Jane stepped in first with Maura on her heels, closing the front door behind them. The agent raised her eyebrows and walked towards the living room.
''You know, there is nothing wrong with joggers.'' she chuckled. As brown eyes were met with the sight of the living room the chuckle died out fast, her hands flying to her hip to take her pistol out of its holster. Jane pointed the gun in to the room, taking one hand off the weapon to grab Maura's arm and protectively pushing the woman behind her.
Maura was about to protest when she saw the living room, completely wrecker.
Papers were scattered across the floor, drawers were pulled open and one of the side tables was flipped on its side.
''It is so good to finally have you back, Janie.'' a gravely voice called from behind the two women, Jane turning around instantly to the source of the voice but it was too late.
The last thing the agent could hear before her vision went black was Maura frantically screaming out her name.
An amused and slick voice whispered in to Jane's ear.
''Wake up Janie. You don't want to miss out on the fun, now do you?'' the voice muttered amused, warm breath rebounding against the skin under the agents ear. She could feel someones fingers run over her neck, tracking the length of it – which made Jane aware that her attacker was behind her.
Slowly she opened her eyes, her head pounding from the hit she received earlier. Jane tried to lift her arm so she could rub her head but was restrained by a zip tie around her wrists, in panic she searched the room. Brown eyes now fell on the unsettling scene that had started to take place in front of her.
The attacked dressed Maura down to her underwear, tightly bound her wrists and legs together and left her on the couch waiting for Jane to wake up.
''Jane.'' Maura sobbed, her eyes were pleading for the agent to help her – cheeks covered with faded mascara stains. The blonde knew damned well that Jane was just as trapped as she was, but the brunette was her only point of light in the situation.
''Maura?'' Jane asked worriedly, confused. The agent tried to push herself up when she heard footsteps approaching. The sound echoed through the room their were in, every step fast – but strong enough to alarm Jane of how confident the man was in his going.
The agent grit her teeth when the steps faded, their attacker walked straight past her – and to Maura.
''Don't touch her.'' Jane's voice was hoarse, her throat dry as the man leaned down on the couch behind the blonde. His arms outstretched, a wide smirk on his face and ice blue eyes staring right back at the agent. The sparkle in his eyes made Jane's stomach turn, he was enjoying this.
''Janie.'' The man said again, licking his lips – his eyes now casting towards the vulnerable woman seated on the couch below him.
''And Doctor Isles.'' He whispered her name, bending down to let his lips hover over Maura's neck.
A sob violently shook the blondes body when the man started to kiss her neck.
The agent tried to pull herself loose from the ties but couldn't succeed, the pain in her body pointing her to the fact that more of her body was hurting. What had he done to her while she was unconscious was a problem for a later time, her full focus currently being on the woman in front of her – hazel green eyes filled with tears and staring back at her – begging for help.
Jane whimpered when he pressed more kisses to Maura's neck, now trailing down her collar bone.
''Don't!..'' she pleaded as soon as tears started rolling down the blondes cheek again.
''Please don't touch her.'' the agent begged.
The man pulled his head away from Maura's neck and Jane sighed relieved.
''Maybe I will listen to you for now, Detective.'' the man said slyly, pushing himself off the back of the couch and slowly walking towards the chair Jane was tied down on.
''Now, I have to walk out for a moment. I will be back soon, don't try to escape. That would ruin all our fun.'' he said, his hand reaching for the agents cheek.
''I missed you, Janie. I waited a long time for you to come back.. but finally you are here.''
Jane grit her teeth as the man caressed her cheek, letting him finish his talk – hoping he would just leave for the time being.
And he did.
After he dropped his hand from the brunettes cheek, he left the room. It wasn't long after until the sound of a car door was heard followed by the sound of the engine starting and the vehicle taking off.
Both women sat there in silence, both listening carefully to the sound of the car leaving. The agent however thinking back of what he had said just before he left.
''Maybe I will listen to you now, Detective.''
Detective.
Jane hadn't been a detective for years. He said he had waited for her, could this have been the man that was making her life hell before she left Boston?
''Maura, are you okay? Did he hurt you while I was out?'' The agent asked, her glance changing from the room to Maura and back – needing to find an item that she could cut the ties on. Her mind was running at a thousand miles per hour, sweat dripping down her forehead.
''No.'' Maura hiccuped from her seat.
''He just – he just undressed me. You have to look at your leg Jane.'' the blonde choked out, sounding teared up again.
''And your side. You have to stop moving.'' Maura continued, her eyes focused on the bloodstains pushing through the white button up of her friend. The man had taken the agents jacket off and just cut her through her clothing.
Jane stopped the wriggling and looked down at Maura's words, wondering what she was on about. She took a deep breath at the sight of the cuts in her jeans and button up, noticing how the blood was seeping through the torn fabric – it explained where the pains were coming from, the adrenaline most likely keeping most of her body numb.
''They are just cuts, Maur. I got to get us out of here.'' the agent chuckled nervously, on the edge of tears from the vulnerable state they were both in. She had failed to keep Maura safe and God knows what this maniac was going to do to them once they came back.
''I can't stop moving, alright? We have to be fast, before he comes back.'' the brunette muttered, trying her hardest to hop with her chair towards a nearby dresser. The brunette scanned the dresser for anything sharp or hot to rip the ties off with, her eyes falling on a nail sticking out. Jane winced as she hopped in closer and hooked her ties around the nail – trying to put enough pressure on the zip tie by a combination of pulling it down on the nail, expanding her wrists as much as she could and pulling them apart.
It was with proper trouble that she managed to get them loose, deep pink lines on the edge of being cuts in her wrists as she got rid of the ties.
''What if he comes back early?'' Maura asked worriedly, carefully watching as the agent was rubbing her wrists – noticing how much pain the woman was ignoring and biting away to find them a way out.
''Then we have a chance to fight.'' The agent muttered, reaching for the dressers and opening the drawers. She saw her badge and her phone but not her gun. Where the hell had he hidden her gun?
Jane sighed deeply and grabbed her phone, noticing multiple missed calls and texts from her colleague Barry back in Boston.
''Charles Hoyt.'' she muttered as her eyes scanned over the messages, her thumbs making quick work of dialing her mothers number next.
Maura glanced up at the mentioning of the name. She had heard the name before, she recognized it – but she didn't recognize the man that tied them up.
''Ma! No, ma I need you to listen.'' Jane cried out desperately from the chair.
''Maura and I have been kidnapped, I believe his name is Charles Hoyt. I need you to go to Korsak and let him track my GPS before he returns and turns off my phone.''
Jane listened carefully, her chest rapidly going up and down as she heard the commotions now happening on the other side of the line. The next voice she heard was of her brother.
''Hello?'' Frankie asked confused.
The agent sighed deeply, her eyes flickering from Maura to the windows and doors – making sure Hoyt wouldn't return sooner than he had said he would be.
She noticed Maura watching back at her hopefully.
''Frankie, I need you to listen and now question. Maura and I have been kidnapped from her house. We are currently in a basement, I am not sure where. Please let Korsak know, tell him to search for a Charles Hoyt – track my GPS. If he comes back he might turn off my phone, so be quick please.'' Jane said, she was in panic – clearly – but yet very collected, making sure her brother could hear everything she had to say.
It was fast confirmation when she heard his footsteps running through the building, knowing he was making work out of it.
''I need you to call Barry Frost of the secret services for more information on Hoyt. I need to go before he comes back Frankie. Please be quick, please.'' Jane pleaded desperately, hanging up the phone again and putting it back on silent. The agent put the device back in the draw and closed it, going for the next one hoping to find her gun. Instead she was met with a drawer full of medical supplies, recognizing one of the tools in the drawer.
The item she recognized was a black roll, closed neatly with Velcro. The agent had seen the item countless of times at her job as a detective, the medical examiners tended to keep their scalpels safe in these cases.
''Maura, he has scalpels here.'' Jane mumbled scared, now looking up the blonde who quietly nodded at her.
Maura's head shot back to her pleading to the man that had captured them not to hurt Jane. He had dragged her down the stairs and in to the basement without too much care, he had cut up her body and Maura could swear she felt every inch of them.
''That is what he cut you with while you were unconscious, Jane. I don't know how you can still move with these cuts, they are deep.'' the blonde said, pulling up her nose in a poor attempt hold back some of the tears. She was glad that Jane had woken up again, Hoyt had done some proper damage to her body and Maura had been scared Jane wouldn't wake up or be in shock. Normally her brain worked so well, but right now it couldn't. She was scared, her mind thinking on how to escape – how to keep Jane safe.
''It's the adrenaline.'' Jane said to Maura with a sweet smile, a smile that put the blonde in awe – in awe of how the agent still tried to comfort her regardless of the situation they were in.
Jane on the other hand lied, after realizing Hoyt had hurt her – the adrenaline started to wear off and she knew exactly how much the cuts were hurting. However now wasn't the time to be weak, now wasn't the time to heal. There were people looking for them, Maura was with her and she needed to make sure they would live long enough for their rescuers to arrive.

The door of the basement room flew open, hitting the wall with a thud so loud it made Jane jump in her seat. Her entire body aching from the motion as heavy footsteps storm down the stairs, upon looking up brown eyes were met with icy blue once again.
The hollow eyes narrowed, hit grimace turning in to a sly grin once again as he saw what drawing the agent was rummaging through.
''I see that you found my toys.'' Hoyt said almost enthusiastically, closing the distance between him and the brunette. Jane instantly straightened herself up when the man approached, gritting her teeth as her eyes angrily followed his figure closing in on her.
Jane hissed, ''You bet I sis, you sick bastard.'' She tried to reach out, her hand reaching for his throat – hoping that maybe she could try and pull or tackle him down, or even just buy Maura more time by keeping him busy.
As soon as the agent reached out she knew he was too smart for it, he was too fast and she wasn't mobile enough to make a chance. Hoyt grabbed both her wrists in a single motion and the sly smile on his face grew wider.
The man tilted his head to the side the slightest bit, his head abruptly bobbing back and forth every now and then as he talked – Charles was clearly tensed, most likely from excitement and he wasn't afraid to show any of it.
''I think I haven't hurt you enough, you can still talk to me like I am nothing.'' he muttered, freeing one of his hands from the agents wrists to grab a hand full of dark brown locks.
It was almost instant that Jane grunted loudly through gritted teeth when Hoyt pulled her down to ground. She was now laying on her side, still in a seated position and tied to the chair that clattered loudly against the cold wooden floor of the basement.
Jane watched his actions as he reached inside the drawer of the dresser and took the roll out, her eyes widened slightly as he opened it. She could faintly hear Maura's sobs in the background, her full focus on Hoyt as he took a scalpel from the case and inspected it.
''I was here for you. I always were, and you didn't appreciate it. You ran away from me, Janie. You left to Washington. You left me behind but now you are back and I can finish what I have started.'' Hoyt muttered as he swiftly cut Jane's feet loose from the chair and rolled her over on to her back.
The agent tried to reach out, push him away from her – trying to escape but he straddled her.
''I never left you! We never started anything! You were breaking in to my apartment.'' Jane said angrily, still squirming when Hoyt grabbed her right wist and pinned it down to the ground.
She tried to hit him with her left hand but he would just wear off the punches.
''Don't hurt her, please.'' Maura hiccuped from the couch, knowing there wasn't anything she could do but beg. The man was lustfully eyeing the agent underneath him and there was nothing she could do.
The blonde tightly closed her eyes and a heart wrenching sob shook her body at the sound of an ear-piercing scream coming from the agent.
Jane tried to gasp for air, her lungs burning – it felt like they had collapsed. No air came in and no air left her lungs, her head was spinning and her body tensed at the sudden pain rushing through her body.
The cold, stainless steel blade from a scalpel had punctured the middle of her right hand and had dug themselves in to the wooden floor below. It wasn't long until her palm was filled with blood and the red substances stained the floor.
Maura swallowed hard and opened her eyes, her vision blurry from her tears. She begged Hoyt at the sight of Jane being so helpless – disoriented from the pain – to not hurt her. She begged him to take her instead, but he kept repeating it would be her turn soon as he took another scalpel from the case.
There was nothing Maura could do, she couldn't stop Hoyt and she knew she would be next.
Hoyt dug the second scalpel deep through the agents left hand and another scream was heard, this one turning Maura's stomach to the point where she had to keep herself from hurling.
Jane's body was arching from pain underneath a very, very amused Charles Hoyt.
That sly grin was back on his face as he leaned down to trail a path of kisses down Jane's neck, the agent to disoriented by the pain to defend herself.
''Don't touch her! Stop it!'' Maura yelled angrily through her tears, knowing it would have no effect.
Charles smiled as he let his hands travel down the agents body, pulling out another scalpel from his collection. He reached down and ever so carefully cut open the blood stained button up Jane was wearing. Trembling fingers pushed the fabric away from the toned stomach, his head tilting at the sight of Jane's bandages.
''Look at this.'' he whispered, fascinated. His fingers peeled off the bandages and the cool tip of his scalpel was rested on the wound that had yet to properly start scarring.
''Oh, I bet that hurt Janie.'' he whispered, putting pressure down on the blade so it would push against the wound.
Jane's abdominal muscles twitched under the touches but there was nothing she could do, yet to escape the shock she had entered by the sudden trauma her body had to endure.
An automated scream left her throat when Hoyt finalized his prodding dragged the blade through the fresh found – smiling down as the bullet wound started to bleed again.
The man stood up, admiring his work from a bit further afar as blood pooled from the still trapped down and disoriented agent. Jane's eyes were closed, tears had pooled in the corners of them – yet to escape down her cheeks. Regardless of the pain and misery, the tears wouldn't come. Nothing came. She was numb, everything was spinning and her head was empty.
It wasn't until Maura cried out and a thud was heard on the floor that the agent started to shake out of her shock. There was something within Jane that instantly switched the toggle and alerted the brunette the moment the blonde hit the floor next to her.
Brown eyes shot open and her head turned enough to see Charles starting to straddle the squirming blonde.
''No! Don't touch her!'' Jane yelled, making the mistake of trying to pull her hand loose. In the process she managed to rip the scalpel out of the wood – but not out of her hand. She cried out, regardless of it still trying her hardest to reach for Charles.
The door of the basement now flew open,
''Boston Police!'' Korsaks voice echoed through the basement, followed by two gunshots and a body dropping to the ground.
Jane had just stopped halfway her motion, she was on her side with one hand still pinned to the wooden floorboards. Her other hand was sore, blood dripping from it as it hung in the air – halfway ready to a punch that would have inflicted more pain on her than it would have on Hoyt.
Her eyes were now met by a sobbing Maura, there was no Hoyt in between them anymore – his body had fallen over to the other side of Maura. Hazel green eyes stared right back at her, tears rolling down the blondes cheeks.
Vince ran over to the women, gasping when he saw Jane's state. The man called for the EMT's who immediately ran over to the agent and knelt besides her. Korsak moved on to cut the doctor loose and cover her with his jacket.
Maura was being helped up, her gaze slowly falling to the agent that was now sitting up – both the scalpels out of the floorboards but still stuck in her hands. The brunette was begging the EMT's not to touch the scalpels as Hoyt was being covered up by forensics.
Despite the shock she managed to pull herself loose from Korsaks grip and walked towards where they were helping Jane up from the ground.
Hazel green eyes weakly stared at the ambulance personnel as they carefully lead Jane out of the basement, being escorted outside by Korsak shortly after.
Maura knew they were saving the removal of the scalpels for the hospital and that it wouldn't be a pretty procedure for Jane. She wanted to join the agent in her ambulance but instead was placed in her own ambulance.
The news headers barely a few hours after read of the events already;
First Daughter and Agent Rizzoli kidnapped by Charles Hoyt.
