Author's Note: Hi everyone! Oh my god I'm the worst! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in forever. Let me just say that online school during a pandemic is not fun nor easy. Anyways, I wrote this prologue a couple of weeks ago and decided to publish it to see if anyone would want me to continue the story. I'm also about halfway done with the first chapter of this if people like the prologue.

So, the prologue takes place near the end of the book of course, the story won't start from here. It's just a teaser to get people interested. Also, don't worry; the story won't just be about Silas and Emilia. I'm of course going to include the D.A, Neville, Ginny, Luna, etc.

Well, that's all I've got! Remember to review and tell me if you like this and want it to continue, a new chapter of The Marauders will be up soon with some news about Harry Potter and the 19 Years. And of course, make sure to check out those two stories as well!

Now, on with the tale!

Prologue

All Peace is Dead

"Come on!"

"I don't understand why we have to leave-"

"Because!"

"Because why?!" he grabbed her wrist, halting her movements.

She turned around to look at him, her stormy grey eyes were filled with fear. Tears were spilling from under her feathery lashes onto her dirt-stained cheeks. Her trembling lips were violet from cold and her bottom one was dented from a bad chewing habit.

"They're coming." she uttered, then turned back and freed herself from his now slackened grip.

He only stared at her back as she hurried around, pointing her wand to different parts of the room, summoning coats and shoes.

"What do you mean they're coming?" he finally managed to get out.

"I mean that Voldemort and his Death Eaters are coming to Hogwarts, soon." she said with a shaky voice, coming over to him and taking his hands in hers.

"It's time, love." she leaned into him, whispering against his neck.

She pulled away, more tears falling as she did.

"How do you know?" he asked, starting to panic.

"I've just been to see Neville and th-the DA; the trio's back, Voldemort knows Potter's here, his si-side is coming, we're going to f-fight."

"Merlin…" he muttered, running his hands through his jet-black hair.

"We need to get you out of here."

She had shifted into 'Plan Mode'. He could practically hear the gears turning in her head as she raced around the dorm, checking things off an internal list.

"No. No way I'm leaving you here!" he exclaimed.

"No- no, no… No Silas! We had an agreement! You have to get out of here!" she cried desperately.

"You're a muggleborn who's been on the run from the ministry all year! If something were to happen if he were to- to win… I don't want to think about what would happen to you." Silas argued back, just as desperate for her to understand his points.

"And if you went out there," she pointed to a window facing out to the grounds. "you'd be fighting your own family! If they s-saw you're fighting on this side…" she trailed off, tears still pouring from her bloodshot eyes.

"It doesn't matter-" he started.

"But it does, Silas! Your parents are good mates with the Malfoys, for Merlin sake Narcissa was practically your second mother! Her sister is Bellatrix bloody Lestrange, that woman is mad! She killed her own cousin because he was a blood-traitor, do you really think she's going to hesitate for a close family friend?!" she screamed at him, still crying her eyes out.

"Emilia-"

"Don't, my answer is final. I won't be able to do this if I know that you're in danger. Besides, I'm a smart witch; I can handle myself." she said with a hoarse voice, giving him a small smile. "Now come on, we need to get to the Room of Requirement."

Silas nodded and put on his coat and shoes; Emilia did the same. A moment later, the two were racing down the stairs and into the Ravenclaw common room.

Then, as quietly as they could, Emilia and Silas ran through the corridors of Hogwarts, all the way to the painting of dancing trolls on the seventh floor.
