Chapter 17. Game of Thrones. 7
The next few days were a bit hectic, lot of people died. I actually appeared in between the wildling encampment stole a few of the so called leaders and Mance Rayder and they saw me Wade into the midst of the White Walkers and slaughter them all. My Valyrian steel Armor protecting me from those bullshit Icyifing powers and Born of the Divine and Sword of the Morning letting me cut down all of them without much effort.
It probably caused a few more legends especially since to appease prophecy I just pulled out my fire elemental magic and My Valyrian Steel Spear was on fire, cause you know Lightbringer. It was fun. And the minute Night King died all the dead went back to being dead. It was fine. Soon after the wildling encampment broke up as they no longer had need or any particular want to go south of the wall.
Most of the World's Canon crap except for slavers bay was taken care of. And I wasn't touching that crap with a ten foot polearm. Mostly because slavery wasn't an issue that could be solved in my remaining six years in Planetos, it was social crap that needed at the very least a hundred years to get rid of. If I was going to start something you may be damned well sure I would end it, and that particular issue will not be touched by me.
For now, I had tracked down the Children of the Forest. And managed to convince them to teach me the True Tongue as thy called it. It had a fantastic resonance with Druidic Magic. While I didn't particularly need more Power and spells that were cast in a language such as that and verbally tended to have lower costs in Mana. I am pretty sure that is why in Harry potter Students were taught to cast using Verbal spells and then segued into Non verbal as they grew in power magically and gained more control. Either way lower costs is a better thing and so on and so forth.
Magically speaking a language spoken in a region often picked up a association with the kind of magic used in said region. Such as Valyrian being Excellent at Fire and Death magic. Rhoynish boosted Water and healing, and the old tongue boosted Earth based magic. Whatever language was spoken in Asshai would boost Shadow, sacrificial, fire and Necromantic Magics.
So I was excited to learn the true tongue. As it had a Fantastic Ability to boost and reduce costs of anything that fell under the Banner of Natural or nature. Meaning all of mine and Daenerys's elemental magic would receive significant boosts and any future Druid type animal or plant based spells I'd learn. I didn't know whether the boost will last once I leave Planetos but I was willing to try. Also frankly it sounded incredible, musical to a degree many languages cannot possibly achieve. Apparently the Children could incredibly lasting enchantments by singing it into an object. That was partly how the wall has stayed up for eight Thousand years. Also the Reason the magic that created the Night King had been active this long.
Frankly the more I heard of it, the more it reminded me of the Elves in Lord of the Rings. Musical language, native to a Humanoid, Non-Human Species, could enchant by singing. Either way it would easily take me some time to learn. I had actually started to learn Rhyonish from an Orphan of the Green blood I think he was called. And Rhoynish water magic. As a newly discovered facet of Divination, when used with Rhoynish water magic it would let me see and hear all the water and anything near water on the continent. Had Daenerys tried to do the same her brains would have dribbled out of her ears and nose. As it was I had to take a nap in my Med-Pod.
That was a painful lesson in do not fuck with magic you do not yet Understand. For now it was time to learn.
In the few months Westerns had Calmed down significantly. Dorne Like the North had Seceded after we Delivered The Mountains head, the north was remarkably stable, Robb stark having Hornored his mother Agreement and married a Frey, however House Frey collapsed into a massive Civil war Once lord Frey died, in the End Hoster Tully sent for Robb to take out and take over House Frey's holding. And Edmure Tully ruled over the Twins from that day on. And the House Frey no longer held any lands and were considered extinguished.
Lord Royce and the Other Vale lords rebelled against Lysa Arryn nee Tully and threw her in a dungeon, Harold Hardyng was name the New lord of the Vale as the last Direct Male descendent of Jon Arryns Father. Tyrion was actually doing a decent job of being hand, though it was clear to everyone Tommen would make a shit king he was too soft. However he did end up Engaged to Margeary Tyrrell and secured Their alliance. The Storm lands had no option other than Seceding or Bending the Knee and they bent the knee. Pyke took a tumble into the sea and the Ironborn were now engaged in civil war. And were no issue to teh rest of Westeros. Furthermore the River lands were more stable than ever since Hoster Tully took some of the Gold the late lord Frey had hoarded and used it to make Harrenhall livable again if not back to its former Glory.
Robb took my Advice and Eddard Stark Now Cailstark was now Lord of Moat Caitlin Protector of the Neck. His children took up the Name Cailstarks as well Basically things were good, especially for the Starks.
The next three years went much the same. Magical practice, flying around Planetos in my Spaceship. And mapping it out. There were actually only four continents on Planetos. Westeros, Essos, Sothyros, and ulthos. A lot of islands though in the so called sunset seas.Sothyros was what Australia would be like tripled in size and magical. So basically fucking terrifying. Ulthos was the same but smaller.
A few months ago I actually told Daenerys about the jumpchain. She did not take the fact that her life was a story in my original world well, a few mild fires were thrown at me. Eh I was fireproof, my clothes were not and an angry Daenerys throwing around Fire was very Hot. Got a boner. Was super Awkward. Took some calming down before I could offer for her to accompany me on my future Travels. Apparently she was angry because she thought I was going to abandon her. While strong and Sensible now she is still a lonely girl, I do not know what fluke of luck let me stay nearly seventy years by myself and stay relatively well adjusted but eh i need to find a way to bottle that shit.
She jumped on the chance to travel with me actually considering the only thing she cared about at this point was well me, not in a codependent sort of way mind, you she just didn't have any ties to Planetos in particular. Immediately made my choice for the next jump at that point, should be a very low risk world. And depending on the rules probably very short as well. I mean Jumpchan Never said anything about special Rules for companions. Need to ask.
For now it was more practise. The solar system here only had seven planets, and Planetos was like earth the third. However all the planets were by average bigger than My world's Planets. Daenerys loved space travel, really need to get travelling in here. I actually spent the rest of my time in Planetos either flying in space, practising my magic mostly because I wouldn't have access to it my next Jump or any of my other perks, I would basically be pre jump in that world. But considering I would still be the top amongst normal humans it's a good thing.
I had decided a ritual that let me Combine my Dragonhide Armor and the Valyrian Steel one. I now had an incredibly cool looking Dragon armor, with the scales being replaced by near Black Valyrian steel and the mail beneath being Dragon hide. It was actually really easy to do. I was afraid of ruining my Armor if I screwed it up, but eh I could repeat this jump and get another if I really wanted so I took the risk. By my guess Jumpchain Purchased Items only had the extra perks mentioned and that they would be replaced in a set time should it get destroyed. I just altered it cosmetically so it was fine. Because metal plate just won't fit into any of my future world's.
In my seventh year here Daenerys said she wanted to court me for marriage. That was apparently the Planetos custom for asking for a date. Well why not, we were presumably going to spend the rest of an incredibly long life together so yeah, tried it. Went well. Probably gonna get married sometime here before we leave. At least Daenerys wants to. I could definitely say I loved her so yeah there's a plus seven years together really does mean you are probably in love without the usual emotional mess of am I really though.
Genius doesn't really make you very good at emotions. In fact it was the opposite. The more intelligent one got the less they could deal with their emotions. A perk in the next jump will help with that. As an added bonus Sex with Dany was amazing. Like liquid fire. By the time we were done a couple years later there wasn't a single surface in my castle we hadn't had sex in or on. She was amazingly forward and kinky during sex, still a blushing mess the next day though. Considering I had crystal clear memories of Rick who once had sex with a literal planet sized entity With Unity. Yeah me not so much.
Hell we visited the Summer Islands once, I remember a fanfic in which it was basically Sex Central. Yep, down to a tee. Dani got drunk and the next day we woke up in bed with seven other women. Good times. She was a blushing mess for weeks after that. And slightly embarrassed, she apparently had Bisexual tendencies probably all the time she spent with Missandei in her Interdimenisonal memories, missandei was the single person other than grey worm who didn't fuck her over. Eh told her if she wanted to go fuck a woman I'd happily let her. Join them too if she wanted me to. Cue the blushing. Ahh still the Troll teacher.
Tomorrow was the time I'd be leaving so Dani and I had already moved in literally everything we owned into the warehouse. And she looked into the Companion Housing which was again amazing. Before we went to sleep.
The next day per usual, with Jump-Chan's smiling face looking at me and Dani who was unused to this and thusly startled a bit.
"Calm down Dani, meet Jump-Chan my and now our patron on our journey."
"Indeed, hello Daenerys I am jump-chan, also great to see you finally starting your harem Dorian." I got a stare from Dani at that which said Explain.
"Hey, hey, hey, why you jumping the gun, I'm happy with Dani, If you must know."
"I know you are, however every single jumper ever probably has had a harem at some point, hell I had and still have one nearly a Million Billion years later. Probably best to discuss that with her yourself. now I believe you had questions about the next jump and your lovely Companion here?"
"Yes, well I was wondering what the rules for companions were?"
"Eh, mostly standard, companion imports are free, they get 800 CP to begin with and can take as many drawbacks as they want no limits, there isn't really a problem. If you want a new companion in world or something then you pay the CP needed. However Companions can't go on gauntlet jumps. Also get yourself a few NPC's or Homunculi servants you need a few."
"Alright then we'll jump in a week. Also question how long is this jump just the movie or the standard ten years?"
"Ten years, no short jump here for you."
"Alright then, not really a problem considering I have castle that a particular species cannot enter without Permission so I'll be fine.
"Have fun oh newly weds, and I'll be here to send you lot off."
"What is it she said about a Harem Dorian?" Dani asked getting to the point she's very good at that also kinda hot when angry, did I ever mention that?
"Well, it's a thing back home, in anime there is always this guy super nice but oblivious to women and mostly awkward around them, and he somehow in a few years ends up with a harem without even trying anything of the sort."
"So what you are saying is you'll probably find other women you'll end up sleeping with?"
"Maybe, I dunno it's not like sought you out for anything other than teaching you magic, shit like this happens. I once had a relationship with a planet full of people who were technically the same person."
"A planet full really?"
"You know what Come here I'll show you." And used my Psionics to show a small episode of Rick and Unity. Rick and twenty seven unity females. A couple days long Sex marathon.
"That is actually incredibly hot, eh sure why not as long as it's some one you could actually fall in love with well fuck her too." She says with a blush on her face, probably remembering our near annual trips to the summer islands after that incident.
"Ohh, should I be worried about my wife leaving me for another woman Dani?" That actually led to a couple rounds of sex before we got to work sorting shit out again.thw next world would leave us completely human, no magic, no fire resistance, no genius perks or anything, we could still remember everything because of the in world Remembrance perk but all other perks, body mods even will be shut down. So I prepared a few bits of prepared tech just in case we ever needed it.
"Hey, Dani before your next jump, I'll be doing the PUBG gauntlet run. Pretty basic no real danger with my body mods alone."
"Have fun, she says and waves me of as she was currently deep into a book on Rhyonish water magic. She never actually stopped trying to learn Rhyonish water magic, bit I'm pretty sure she couldn't untill we left this world, curse of Mother Rhoyne on the Valyrians and all.
Either way time for another gauntlet.
