Writer's Note:

While Sonic has been commonly shipped with Sally or Amy and Blaze has been shipped with Silver, many fans have shipped Sonic and Blaze. That is a cute ship and I respect that, so here I am, writing a little Sonic x Blaze story. Hope you like it!

When they first met, they had been enemies for a brief period of time, then they became friends. Now the relationship had changed, they were more than friends, the seeds had been planted when they first saw each other, now they were in love.

If anybody had predicted that Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, and Blaze the Cat, princess of the Sol Dimension, would become a couple, one of them or any one of their friends would've assumed that fortune teller was crazy beyond belief.

Nonetheless, Sonic remembered when he and Blaze had their first kiss that one fateful day they admitted their feelings for each other after a battle with Eggman as they watched the sunset. Blaze had always thought the hedgehog was handsome and he thought she was nice.

It was a bright blue, normal sunny day, Sonic was meeting up with Blaze at the park in Station Square, the lavender cat was wearing her trademark, white and purple outfit while Sonic wore his traditional gloves and shoes along with a new pair of shorts that didn't constrict his legs.

Someone had once said Mobian males couldn't wear pants, that rumor was false, some could from time to time and it didn't hurt. Sonic kissed Blaze on the cheek and they hugged. "How are we doing today, blue?" Blaze asked with a purr in her voice.

"All's good." Sonic replied, "Just chased off Eggman again. So, we ready to to?"

Blaze nodded and let the blue blur scoop her up in her arms before taking off at light speed, the lavender cat wrapping her arms around Sonic's neck and purring like a normal cat would. Their surroundings around them changed, the city becoming a blur of lights.

They pressed on until Sonic came to a stop and set down Blaze, they were in the wide open countryside just outside the city, full of bushy hedges and nice tall trees. Both hedgehog and cat held hands, smelling the fresh air and clean grass while feeling the grass under their feet.

Sonic and Blaze walked through the countryside, taking the lovely scenery in and enjoying the fact nobody was around to ruin their happiness and the time they'd been spending together. No mad scientists, dimensional crises, danger of merging worlds or the end of the universe.

Feeling nothing but happiness, both heroes sat down beneath a tree near some bushes and looked up at the clear sky, feeling the sunlight raining down over a peaceful world, listening and watching as rabbits bounced by and squirrels gathered acorns and birds flew over.

Blaze and Sonic sat in silence, holding hands and embracing each other more warmly than ever. In the sky above, the clouds formed various shapes from triangles to rabbits as well as a guy and a dog running. The weather felt great, no storms coming.

So far, so good today. Sonic thought, looking into Blaze's eyes. She seemed to be thinking the exact thing too as she looked into Sonic's eyes, the cat started snaking her arms around his neck and he started to place his hands on her side.

Adjusting sitting positions, Sonic let Blaze sit on his lap, romantic fires in their hearts burning brighter than ever before. Then Blaze leaned in and Sonic leaned back, their eyes becoming half lidded as they started to share a very romantic kiss...

"Hope we're not interrupting and ruining your time together." Said a voice. Sonic and Blaze looked up and spotted Silver, a blue aura surrounding him, and next to the hedgehog was Amy Rose. The pink hedgehog giggled and waved, not bothered by Sonic being with Blaze.

"Hi, Silver. Hi Amy." The blue hedgehog said, "We're cool, you didn't interrupt anything." Amy and Silver left, leaving the two heroes alone again as they resumed making out, no longer interrupted by anything else until...

"Hmph, how quaint."

Shadow had arrived, he stood there, arms crossed. Next to him was Rouge the Bat, wearing a velvet dress. Shadow seemed to be frowning, but Rouge looked happy. Sonic and Blaze said hi to them before the bat and the ultimate life form left, leaving them alone once again.

"Wonder why we've been interrupted?" The lavender cat princess said with a smile, running a finger along Sonic's shoulder playfully. Sonic smiled and held her hand, "Lets not worry, my love. What matters is our love for each other and the fact we're happy."

They started making out again, lips meeting, Blaze pressing her body against Sonic's and purring while placing her hands on the sides of his head as Sonic firmly put his arms around her and fiddled with her cat tail, nearly making the cat giggle in the kiss.

"Meow!" Blaze said, the kiss breaking long enough for them to say something as she felt Sonic touch her tail. "You said it, kitty cat." The blue hero said in a playful tone, he scratched her head, petting her just like he would with a normal cat.

Rolling over so the hedgehog was atop, he and Blaze kissed some more as she wrapped her legs around his waist and Sonic put her hands on the sides of her head. Their tongues began swirling and wrestling as the kiss deepened into a French Kiss, adding on to the romance.

Both speedster and princess made out for a short period before stopping to breathe and wiped away a small saliva strand made by their tongue wrestle kissing, staring longingly into their eyes, happy and content with each other as they had been since they'd begin dating.

Sonic stood and helped his princess to his feet, the two deciding to go somewhere else. Scooping Blaze in his arms again, the hedgehog took off at high speed away from the countryside area and straight back to Central City, finding a chili dog stand close by.

"A chili dog for me and a chili dog for Blaze, please?" The hedgehog requested, getting out a wallet so he could pay. "That would be three dollars each, sir." The chili dog vendor said, Sonic payed him as he and Blaze got their chili dogs.

They sat down at a glass table, Sonic nibbling a bit on his chili dog as he watched Blaze bite into her chili dog and then lick her lips, she was enjoying it and that made the blue hero very happy as he started devouring his meal one bite at a time as Blaze did so too.

"Yummy, right?" The blue hedgehog asked his feline girlfriend, giving a thumbs up when he got a nod from Blaze, who gave him a thumbs up right back. As their meal neared its end, they shared a drink of water, provided by a passing waiter, to wash the chili dogs down.

Sonic covered his mouth, belched and rubbed his slim belly. Blaze rubbed her stomach too, both satisfied with their chili dogs. Getting up from the table, they held hands again and strolled through the park before heading off to places unknown, enjoying the rest of their day out.
