hey! how are you? the chapter 3 is done and I am already working in the chapter 4,I dont have so much to talk this time so I think its just this,enjoy:
Chapter3:Talk with a friend
Connor and Henry passed all the night talking with each other,after henry's time of night guard ends and he goes away,Connor tries to sleep a bit and as he was very tired he slept soundly.At the morning,Connor wake up with a good surprise,he isnt handcuffed anymore!the breakfast it is there too.It's very simple,a bread with butter in the middle,a little red apple,a cup of milk serve on a metal tray.The cat is there too,but it is sleeping.
"What a lazy cat" Connor says to himself.
He left 1/4 of the bread and half of the milk to the pet when it wake up.
Some minuts later,a guard appears,not the same guard of yesterday, it's other Guard
"Kid"He says" Mr.Winty said that you probably want to meet more the laboratory and our backyard with your... cat"
The guard weirds why the boy has a pet inside the lab,but he prefireds to doesn't say anything.
"Ok, I just need to wake up the sleeping beauty"Connor tries to wake up the cat.
He tries to wake up the cat shaking it,lifting up it and tickling it but the animal didnt move one sungle muscle,so Connor pulls the cat's tail,immediately it wakes up and bites Connor's left foot but he was wearing shoes.
"C'mon kitty,let's play outside!but first eat your break fast"
The cat eats its food very fast and follows Connor to leave the room.The guard opens the door for the boy and the cat,and the three follow the way to the backyard.
They arrived in a gray door with a sign write "backyard" on it.Connor and the cat enter in the door and the Guard stops in the entry,inside it,the backyard was just a small westeland surrounded by four big gray walls,there are Grass too, apparently it is well cured.
Connor was playing with his cat,he found a little rock,so connor throw it to the other side of the westeland,and the cat,follow the rock to catch it to return the"ball"for Connor,they repeat this for some minuts,until the cat didnt return,Connor wait a time but the pet still disapear,so,the boy goes to search for the animal.
"Kitty why you didn't-"Connor stops to talk when he found the cat Behind a little irregularity of the ground"what is this?"
The animal was looking to inside a hole in the wall,Connor was curisious and look inside the hole too,he surprise to what he sees,in the other side of the wall there is a girl of the same age of Connor.
"Wow"he says"are you seing that kitty?"
The cat answer with a lazy "meaw"
The girl is a little bit more small then Connor,she has a long straigh Black hair,she wears glasses and have a red-pink dress with a red t-shirt,she is reading a book that has a women superhero in the book cover.Connor dont know who is the women hero.The girl sits near of the hole in the wall
"Uh,hello?"Connor says with a low voice,the girl apparently didnt heard he so,Connor shout to her:
"Hello!!"
The girl startleds with the shout,throw the book in her hand and fall in the ground.Connor sees that and immediately apologized.
"oh sorry,I scared you"he has a treacherous smile
The girl,after get up and take the book says to him:
"you REALLY needed to shout?I can use glasses but my hearing it's perfect"
"Well,I Said 'hello' without shout but you didnt heard"Connor says.
"It's Because I was reading my comic book of flossy flash,kick and crack!"She jumps and kick the air before make a pose of fight,Connor thinks that "flossy flash" was the women of her book.
"So do you like superheros?"He asks.
"obviously,I Love then!"The girl answer.
"Me neither!" Connor says.
"Finally Someone to talk,I was thinking,I'm the only kid here,it is very quiet and bored,I dont like so much"she pout.
Connor smile to her
"I dont think so,there are some people that I talk."
"Really?"She says doubting.Connor nod.
"Yes,I meet a night guard yesterday,his name is henry,he is a nice guy,well,comparing to the other guards..."
The girl stop talking for a moment,she was with an expression of thoughts and after a time she says:
"Oh how did I forget!My name is Amaya,nice to meet you!".she extends her army to greets he.
"My name is Connor,nice to meet you too."he greets she.
"So... Connor"Amaya starts"How much time are you in this place?"
Connor think for a moment and says:
"I think 2 or 3 days,and you?"
"I already lost the time,but it is probably 1 or 2 weeks"Connor surprise with this,she was there way more time then he.
"Sometimes a man visits my room" Amaya says.
"Yeah?What does he look like?"Connor asks,he was very curisious.
"Well"she starts"he is tall,he has short,weavy and light Brown hair,he's Always with a white suit,with a red necktie,he is thin,he's very nice with me and he is always smiling too"
"is his name Winty?"Connor asks
"Yes it is"Amaya answer"How did you know?"
"He was the first Person that I meet here,he Said that I was here to help with new medicines,I think... but I dont know if that things was'medicines'."
Amaya was going to Said something but a voice of the Amaya's side interrupted her:
"Hey girl!it's time to go" A guard of Amaya's side shouts.
"I am going in one minute!"Amaya shouts to him back.
"I gotta go,sorry"Amaya says.
"Wait!"Connor shouts to her"where are you going?"
"Today I Will have a test of the 'vaccines' my first test actually".Connor remember his first test,but he doesnt remember what happen after it,the only things that he remember it's the pain that he felt.Amaya starts to run to the door for her experiment.
"Hey!" Connor shouts,Amaya stop to listen to him"just... whatch out"He finishes.
Amaya just nods with a smile and run again to the door.
Connor pass all the morning playing with his cat of the same thing,throwing the little rock and the animal take it,but they stop to the Lunch.They back to the room for the Lunch,it was a sandwich and a cup of water,the boy share the food with the pet again.after the meal,some guards take Connor to the back to the "experiment room 001",this time,there are any less scientists, the cats that was in the cages aren't there too.The scientists inject other "medicine", this time in Connor's shoulder.
"We change some components of the MOOLC-8."One of the scientists says.
"Now some of the syntoms Aren't includding,like the cat accting,Right?"Other scientist says.
Connor heard this secretally,but he didn't know what they was talking about.He back to his room and pass all the afternoon there,thinking about your Family,your friends,Henry and Amaya,the cat solve to sleep again.
At the night,Henry appears again and Connor tells him about his day.
"Today I meet a girl,there is a hole in the wall of the backyard that I can see and talk to her."
"Really?"Henry is surprise"what is her name."
"Amaya"Connor answer,he thoughts for a moment Before say:
"I have an idea"He starts"I can talk with Amaya now!"
Henry makes a strange expression.
"How?You dont now where she is"
"Yes,but how about you become a voice postman?you just need to find Amaya,it will be like a game,I say something to you,you pass it for Amaya and she does the same thing."Connor says
"I am a night guard,every night I look around this place and the only kid that I know is you."Henry says.
"You can look around again,just to check,please?"Connor begs to Henry.The guard don't want to patroll the lab again but The boy really want he to do this,so,Henry get up and go away and tries to find Amaya.He looks around all the lab,all the halls,all the rooms,but he didnt see anyone.
"Sorry,but I look around the lab two times but I didnt find her,you are the only child here"
"Are you sure?"Connor asks
"Yes,I am "
The boy was a bit sad,he know that Henry doesn't lie to him,he see Henry's clock beeping
"I think it's time to you".Connor Points to the clock.Henry looks to his clock to see if it's true.
"Oh,sorry buddy,my time ends."Henry gets up and go away.
Connor lays down in the hard floor of his room,it was very very dark ,he Can't stops to think about Amaya,she is a nice girl and is a good friend too.All his thoughts stop when he fells his body itch,especially his arms and legs,he looks to then and have a surprise,his arms and legs are blue!the itch is increasing and he Can't do anything.
"What is this?"He asks to himself"why th...MEAW"Connor covereds his mouth,did he just makes a... meaw?
"Wh-what i... meaw"He covereds his mouth again,he starts to fell dizzy,the room is spinning for Connor,he fells will to throw up but he don't do this.somw seconds after the boy pass out,now he is sleeping inconcious.
one or two hours later Connor wakes up again,still night and very dark but,at least he is better he isn't dizzy or itching anymore and he's not blue too.Apparently he's... normal,he was almost dying,now it's all ok...
"I am going crazy in this place,maybe is just my imagination"Connor thoughts,he was very tired so he fall in sleep very fast.
