~Mericcup Month Day 2, 3: All grown up/Leadership~

~Merida~

All four different chosen Guardians were all standing inside the North pole as they all wait till North comes in letting them all know why they were chosen to be here.

Merida Fireheart, she being the one who didn't like working with other spirits that much she only hated standing and waiting what could be so important. She and Angus stood as they both waited impatiently for the news to come. Looking across the room she saw Jack and Rapunzel both sitting down in chairs as Hiccup was leaning against the wall as his dragon Toothless stands next to him.

Jack Frost being the trouble maker spirit always using his ice power to cause trouble. Rapunzel Rampion... She only knows she a very kind kindred spirit that loves to help others in need. Hiccup Draconian... She's only heard about him today, the only thing Merida would know is that he has a dragon companion.

The more she thought about it the more Merida had a faint feeling she may know Hiccup from before. As if he may have meant something dear to her in the past... But why?

"Alright!" All head turn looking over towards North.

"I see you've all came to find out why you were summond." The Russian man spoke.

Merida looked over towards Hiccup who was at the time staring at the ground as Toothless was playing around with the elfs. As he looked up she got a glimpse of his eyes, emerald green something she could get lost him. She felt her heartbeat fasten as she continue to linger on looking at him.

"I don't know why you called me here. Ins't Jack a Guardian like you guys?" Rapunzel asked.

Pulling out of her trance, Merida looked over to North hoping there was at least an explanation towards this.

"He is, but this is something different for you four." North explained.

North explained that some of Tooth memories had gone missing including theirs, including when a powerful cloud had cover MnM losing all contact to him. Before Manny was covered he sent a riddle for the guardians to figure out to find four other chosen Guardians that would help them defeat Pitch.

Afterwards Tooth had handed them all their memories in hopes for all Rapunzel, Hiccup and Merida would figure out their 'Center'.

Merida only eyed her case as she saw her own face at the end, she brushed her hand on top as she sighed loudly feeling as though she wish not to open it. She looked up seeing Hiccup doing the same as he continued to look at his case as Toothless eye balled it as well.

Rapunzel looked nervous as she stood up and walked out only wanting to know what her past was in private. Merida stared back at hers as she touch it opening her own memories for her to remember. As a white light shined flashes of her memories were shown.

First was shown as how she and her mother how she would always hated her Princess duties and how her mother scold her if she was acting improper. Next she was shown that she was being told that her hand was being fought for marriage in which she yelled at her mother running to her room.

The two fought and Merida stayed inside her room, another shown the games as Merida sneaked out as fighting for her own hand. Afterwards Merida had ripped tapestry and her mother burned her bow.

Next, she had turned her mother into a bear and fought long days to turn her mother and her three brother back to human. As if it was over, her next memory was shown as her and Hiccup together holding each other.

Hiccup? What are ya doing with me?

Hiccup was different from what she had seen him, black leather armor with two different green shirts on. He still had his metal leg as Hiccup kissed her dearly.

"I promise to come back to you Mer." Hiccup whispered.

"Please... D-don't leave me." She saw herself beg.

"Hey, I'm not going to let us be apart from each other. I promised you that." Hiccup smiled.

"I don't want you to fight... After you... After we..." She saw herself cry.

"Merida, remember what I said to you before? I may have not want to be apart of this Arrange Marriage at first, but I still love you no matter what." Hiccup kissed her.

She saw herself kissing Hiccup back as she pulled Hiccup towards her wanting to hold him there forever. She pulled away closing her tear covered eyes.

"I love you Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third"

"I love you, Merida Haddock." Hiccup kissed her.

After sometime, her memories showed her running away with her mother and brother running in front as men with crossbows. After sometime, Merida and her brother were separated by their mother as she were running to the Witch's destroyed house. Merida thinking quick brought her brothers inside as she moved wooden planks to hide all three of them.

Her brother were crying as their sister only smiled at them dearly.

"I love all three you wee devils. Take care of yourselves." She said before the called the men bringing them away from her family.

She fell to the ground as her eyes open bringing herself back to reality, she gasp for air as if everything rushed into her head causing her breath to quicken. Now it makes sense why she was feeling this way towards Hiccup.. In her past life she was married to him... Well put through Arranged Marriage with him.

She fell in love with him after they were married... But he's looked different from what he is now. The only question is that... Does he still love her?

She only looked down at her right hand seeing the ring she didn't want to remove from her hand. She was married to Hiccup. Merida looked up to see Hiccup again as he took was taken back like she was with his memories. He stared at Merida quickly looking away as he turned around not facing her.

Merida needed to move out of the room and quickly made her way out into the toy room as she needed some air away from the room. As she entered Merida was quick to turn around as if she knew Hiccup would follow her, seeing he hadn't she only leaned onto a wall breathing out all her air in her lungs seeing what she was going to do now?

Hearing a noise behind her she quickly turned around seeing Toothless there looking at her concerned for her being. It wasn't too long till she saw Hiccup running into the room seeing Toothless next to her. Hiccup only stared at Merida as she only looked away from him. The silence only made the situation awkward, neither of them saying anything to each other.

"So... Did you see us?" Hiccup was to first to speak out.

Merida nodded her head in response as she only wanted to be alone and away from Hiccup.

"What did-... You... Kept your ring..." Hiccup pointed out.

Merida looked down at her hand as she stared at her ring looking back up to hiccup as he did the same thing as well.

"Aye felt like aye couldn't take it off... As if-"

"I belonged to someone." Hiccup finished for her.

"I-I'm sorry... Y-you... died for me..." Merida apologized.

Hiccup opened his mouth as if he were to stop her, but closed it as if he didn't know what he wanted to say. He only looked away blushing as he rubbed the back of his head.

"W-what happened happened. We can't change the past, only now we move on." Hiccup looked away.

Without realizing Toothless had gone behind her using his tail to push her closer to Hiccup. She almost tripped as her face was so close to Hiccup's face getting an awkward smiled from him.

"S-sorry..." Hiccup stuttered.

She wanted to yell, scream push Hiccup away from her, but felt as though she didn't want him to leave. She felt her cheeks heated up as her face slowly looked down to his lips. As if Hiccup knew, he slowly moved his face closer as the two closed their eyes almost touching their lips together.

"Hiccup! Merida!"

As if children being caught the two lost couple pull away from each other as they stood straight looking away from each other in hopes to hide their flushed faces.

Jack had come running in looking at the two as if he was scared.

"What is it Jack?" Hiccup asked.

"Rapunzel is missing."

With that, the search was on for Rapunzel.

This lead with Hiccup and Jack flying in the air to search for Rapunzel while Merida would search the ground to the search. This lead to Pitch attacking Merida as she was alone and Hiccup being the way he was helped her out and causing a fight between the two.

After finally finding where Jack had gone to and saving Rapunzel Pitch and Gothel sending them away from the children they were attacking. Now the question was would the two get together?

Hiccup was doing his job spreading Autumn through the world as he stared at Merida who was clutched over crying he walked over to her comforting her. Sitting down with her he pulled her close hugging her as if she was going to disappear. Merida stiffened a bit but allowed herself to relax to him.

"I'm sorry..." Hiccup apologized.

"Do ya even love me?"

It hurt his heart hearing her ask him this.

"Of course I do Merida. I still love you even when I got my memories." Hiccup spoke.

"Why not come talk to me? Why did you leave me alone! Your so hard to read!" Merida screamed at him.

Merida stood away from Hiccup stomping her feet as Hiccup stood up next to her.

"I-... I never wanted to hurt you Mer. After finding out what happened to you after I died... It broke my heart. I thought it was best to stay away from you since I always cause you harm." Hiccup admitted.

Merida eyes widen as seeing why he acted the way he did towards her, her eyes stared at him.

"Ya still love me?" Merida asked him again.

"Yes! Gods Merida, I can't help myself! I hate seeing you upset, every time I'm around you I go crazy-"

She didn't even let him finish as she kissed him dearly, Hiccup eyes widen but he gave the gesture back to Merida showing how much he missed his wife.

"I love ya too. Ya daft troll." Merida laughed.

Hiccup smiled kissing her again.
