It had transitioned into midday after Alexia had gotten the little briefing on her situation. She had gone back to laying on her bed and was now in deep thought.

Ben: *Whistling*

Ben was whistling a small little tune that sounded sweet. Alexia meanwhile was lost in her own thoughts, Thinking about beagle.

Alexia: (Gosh, I wonder what beagle is doing right now. I can't believe that I cowardly left him right there at the crossing.)

Alexia: (He was injured too! Did he get out of there alive? I know the wound was not fatal but….)

She just couldn't take her mind off of the knight who had served her so diligently. Even who she betrayed her uncle, beagle still served with her and tried to help her, he was loyal and kind just like her father. Beagle was as important to Alexia as wood was to beavers.

Alexia: (If only I was stronger….I could've fought back.)

Alexia gritted her teeth at the realization that she was weak.

Ben: Hey, I think someone's coming.

Alexia: Huh?

Creeping footsteps could be heard from outside of the door. They were clearly knights as it followed by a clunking sound that was iconic to them.

*Creek*

A force pushed on The door and it opened. Two knights carrying a spear entered.

Knight: Princess alexia, Lord Elison is ready to meet you.

Alexia: Hmph. You make me wait for an hour, not counting the day I was already here to meet your lord! How despicable for me too-

Knight: Silence! We've not come here for your idle pratter.

The knight yelled.

Alexia: Excuse me! Sir! You may not talk to me like that!

Knight 2: He said to be silent!

The knight pointed his spear at alexia. The sharp tip grazed her neck and she immediately became silent like they had demanded.

Alexia: Hmph. You people are so rude. Treating your own princess like some common dandy….

Knight: *Tch* Follow us. We will escort you to lord elison.

Knight 2: Don't try anything funny or this spear will pierce your throat!

He warned.

Alexia: (You people sure aren't subtle…..)

Alexia sighed as she was escorted down the hallway. As they slowly walked, They passed by several portraits of famous aetreonic kings including her father - King Alexandra. This reminded her of the fact that was basically being held hostage in her own country and how crazy this whole situation had become.

After walking up some stairs they came to a door at the end of the hallway. The door was long; about 2 meters in height and had the symbol of the bull implanted on its hull. The doorknob had the letter E as its keyhole, which was questionable because it meant that the key would surely have to be oddly shaped In order to fit.

Knight: ….

Lo and behold, The knight pulled a key that had an E shaped orifice at the edge. It almost made alexia chuckle but she stayed silent because she feared retribution.

*Creeek*
THe knight put the strange key into the hole and the door slowly opened.

As the door slid open, a fancy decorated room revealed itself to alexia. The living room was dimly lit with the vintage wall sconces that hung on the mute coloured walls like earrings. Thick velvet curtains hid the long windows across the walls, just leaving a shy peak of the woods beyond. Two antique paintings stood on the opposite sides of each on the hand-woven rug in front of the ashen fireplace, accompanied by rich velvet and bronze wing-chairs that stood as sidekicks.

Lord elison was sitting at a desk-like throne in the middle of the room. She was filling out several forms of paper on her desk and didn't even pay any mind to alexia when she entered the room.

Lord Elison was a tall woman, she stood over most men in the kingdom with her 4 meter body. She had dark mint green hair with gray eyes that seemed to stare into the void of those who met them. She wore long white chain mail that wrapped around her body like a blanket.

Elison: Ah. Princess Alexia. I've been expecting you.

Alexia: Lord elison. To which do I owe the pleasure?

Elison: Hmph. I should be asking you that….

Elison smirked.

Elison: You've betrayed our king.

Alexia: Betrayed? Me? No. Caesar betrayed all of us when he made peace with the tinnish.

Elison: My my. You are quite bold to say such a thing about the king.

Lord elison stood up and walked over to alexia.

Elison: -But it is of no matter. It'll just be added to your list of crimes.

Alexia: You certainly have a sharp tongue. It is befitting of your snake like appearance.

Elison: Heh. I take that as a compliment! Snakes are nimble,Clever and vicious! A perfect combination!

Elison: Plus….. I've got a nasty bite~

Lord Elison leaned in on alexia and bit her neck Leaving several teeth marks!

Alexia: Ugh! You perverted Hag!

Elison: Now now. That isn't very nice.

The green haired lady turned around and sat back down at her desk. Alexia rubbed her neck and scoffed.

Alexia: What is the reason you have brought me here, Lord?

Elison: To confess to your aforementioned crimes.

She exclaimed while looking into alexia's eyes.

Elison: The high court of aetreon has charged you with the murder of Salami Piatti.

Alexia: …..!

Elison: -And In order to spare the country and the queen, a long and emotional trial, Caesar wants you to confess your guilt.

Lord Elison presented a long sheet of paper that stretched about 50 centimeters. It had long brown bolded words that seemed like they popped out of the paper and into the real world. The long paper read the Following:

{On behalf on the king, his majesty Caesar has made the following declaration to princess alexia.
You have committed an egregious crime against the people of Aetreon! Killing a royal knight of the church is a crime not even the royalty of this land can escape.
We, The high court of Aetreon and the parliament of the king ask you to confess to your crimes to save the people of Aetreon a long and emotional trial. Please write out your name at the bottom of this letter with the words - GUILTY! We need not the details.}

Alexia: This is nonsense! I did not kill salami! (Intentionally, at least….)

Alexia knew that was a lie by omission and yet she still said it. It was a sign of her decreasing character and morals.

Elison: I don't think you understand princess…. You are going to sign this confession.

Alexia: huh?

Elison: This is not negotiable.

Elison looked alexia in the eyes.

Alexia: You scoundrel!

Elison: Now then, lets get this over this, Shall we?

Lord Elison placed a pen down right in front of alexia. Alexia sneered at the mere notion that she would sign away her freedom. In her mind, she wasn't guilty of anything. She was only preventing a tyrant from taking power.

Alexia: I won't sign it. No matter what you say or do to me.

Alexia proclaimed while looking directly into the eyes of her oppressor.

Elison: Oh come on. Don't be difficult!

Alexia: …

Alexia stayed silent.

Elison: Righty then. I suppose we have to do this the hard way.

Elison pulled out a pen from her long hair and clicked it open. She pressed her pen down on the paper and signed: Alexia Royalberry.

Alexia's Jaw dropped and she frantically said:

Alexia: Did you just sign my name?

Elison: Yes.

Alexia: You can't do that! That's forgery!

She exclaimed.

Elison: Well I Just did. What're you going to do about it, you prude?

The lord Elison stuck her tongue out like a child.

Elison: Now then, I don't believe we have anymore business left here. Take her away.

Alexia: Wait, You can't do this! You've falsely signed my name and confession!

Elison: Ehehe~ so? Who's gonna believe you if you say that in court?

Alexia: You little-

Elison: Take the little princess away. I can tell that she's about to have a little temper tantrum.

The two burly and stunning knights grabbed alexia by the arms and dragged her away while she was kicking and screaming. Just like most of her life, she felt completely powerless in this situation and could only yell.

Alexia: ARGH! YOU BITCH!
