After being lectured about the day's events. Several knights took alexia to the bottom floor, where the bathing center was.

The staff gave her a towel and told her to undress and go into the room alone. Naturally such a request was unladylike to alexia but they assured her that there was no ill intent. She didn't believe them of course but she had no choice.

Coldness…. Wetness….. Liquor….. Those were the only things only felt as she stood in a huge bath.

The bath was antique in style and quite unlike anything alexia had ever seen before. The bath was at least 5 meters long and 6 meters wide with several spouts of water coming out of it! She was struck by the imposing columns all around the rectangular pool. Each column was linked to the next by a perfect archway and the curved ceiling was inlaid with gold. The water itself was as blue as glacier run-off, and she wondered if it was also mineralized. The stone was cold beneath his bare feet and he shivered a little in his swim shorts, but at least she wasn't expected to bath naked as they did in ancient aetreon.

The knights of this castle had common decency, so they left her alone in this room of bath. Although the door was locked so she couldn't escape.

Alexia: What do I do…

Alexia dipped her toes in the bath water. The silken water surrounded her toes like an inter weaving web. The water calmed her nerves as she slipped the rest of her body into the hot springs. Even through this calm and pleasurable experience though, alexia's mind couldn't stop racing.

Alexia: I don't know what'll happen to me if caesar gets his hands on me.

Alexia: They say that he wants to put me on trial but….

Alexia: Is that really the case? H-He'll just execute me when I get there!

She shivers' at the thought. She calmly paused before continuing.

Alexia: Wait No…. He wouldn't execute me while mom's around….

She said to herself.

Alexia: Wait! What if mother is dead! When he was talking to that statue he said that she might have some complications at birth-

Alexia stopped herself short before she came to any morbid conclusions.

Alexia: No! No, Alexia! You can't think like that!

Alexia: -I need to stay positive!

She breathed in and out, her lungs expanding and deflating with each circulation of air. Her mind drifted to the thoughts of her kingdom and the man who was ruling at this current time.

Alexia: Caesar has barely enough political capital to get a conviction on me….

Alexia: -But then again, he does control most of aetreon's courts now….

Alexia scratched her head and sank her being deeper into the water. The bath suds around her enveloped and cleansed her body but not her mind.

Alexia: Dammit! No matter what I think of, I can't get out of this situation! Its hopeless!

Alexia: Even if I could escape right now, where would I go? What would I do? How would I survive on my own?

Alexia looked down at her reflection in the water.

Alexia: I've lived my entire life in that castle and I have no idea how to normally function in society. This past week proved that.

She sighed.

Alexia: Beagle was right… if I don't get out of this castle mindset, I won't survive.
