Ummmmmm... hi. *awkwardly waves* I haven't exactly updated...in a while. I really don't have a good excuse, but the next chapter is halfway done, and I hope that I don't take as long finishing it as I did this chapter.

"Excuse me, could I have a word with Mr. Parker?"

Oh, look, Parker, someone's come to get you, probably because you stole something." You can guess who that was.

"I'm Peter Parker," he offered, raising his hand.

"Please follow me, Mr. Parker."

Following the man out of the room, he asked, "Excuse me, but who are you and where are you taking me?"

The man stopped and turned around. "My name is Dr. Graham, and I am an assistant of Dr. Bruce Banner. He asked me to come and get you; sorry that your classmate thought that you were in trouble," he said, smiling.

"No problem," was the simple reply. The boy was still on his guard - as Spiderman he always had to be - but his Spidey-sense wasn't going off, so he supposed it was okay.

Turns out that Bruce Banner had brought him to his lab because 1, he needed a pair of fresh eyes to look at something wrong with a new project, and 2, because Tony had asked him to.

"Hey, Junior!" Bruce called out.

"Hey Uncle Bruce! What did you need me for?" he asked.

"Could you take a look at this project? We need a pair of fresh eyes."

"Got it," grinned the teenager.

Later

"I knew it! I knew he stole the security card. They were probably coming in to take it away."

"Yeah, right," MJ scoffed. "They more likely dragged him off to ask him for help or something."

Before Flash could answer, the door opened and Peter walked in with the man from before.

"Hey guys," Peter said as he strolled in, saying goodbye to Dr. Graham. He stopped short when he saw the expressions on his friends' faces.

Or rather, Flash's face. He looked more annoyed than usual.

"What happened?" He hesitated, almost afraid to ask.

Ned answered. "Flash thought that the guy who picked you up was there because you were in trouble, so MJ told him he was wrong. He was wrong, right?

"Yeah! Yeah, I mean, he just pulled me aside to give them some insight on a project of theirs. Yeah, so, um, not in trouble."

MJ smirked while Flash gaped, not believing it. Ellie walked over and clapped her hands excitedly to get the group's attention before speaking. "For the next part of this tour, you guys get to learn some basic self-defense from the Black Widow and Winter Soldier!"

Excited chattering filled the room.

"Follow me everyone!" Ellie called.

She led them out of the lab and down the hall towards the elevator.

Ned was giddy with excitement. "We're getting fighting lessons from superheroes!"

Peter laughed at his friend's enthusiasm. "Yeah, from two Russian assassins. That'll be fun," he said dryly.

MJ suddenly took out her phone and snapped a picture of Peter's face.

He blinked in surprise. "What was that for?"

"To draw later."

"Hey, guys, I think we're here!" Ned said excitedly.

The others looked up as they walked in, and there was a collective gasp as soon as they saw the room.

The room was enormous, with giant weights in one part of the room, and treadmills that Tony had tinkered with in another. On the far side of the room was another, smaller room, in which there were cheap (at least for Tony), moving robots to act as would mostly be the one using the room, but Natasha was a frequent visitor, as well as Steve.

There were usually mats stored against the walls for when they sparred or did training games, but today they were on the middle of the floor, with two very deadly assassins standing on them.

"Hello, class."

Well...okay, I probably shouldn't've ended it like that. But it seemed like such a good ending, so...yeah. Also, that's not really a cliffhanger, because you should probably already know who they are, so yay! Okay, bye! Until next time, which I hope will not be a long time.
