It was a typical time on the Dog Stars' ship. Brainy Barker was at ship's command center while the rest of the Dog Stars were doing their own things. Mammoth Mutt was with Paw Pooch in the training room, with Tusky Husky the one controlling what was going on. The obstacles the two dogs had to deal with were small drones, boulders, and some turrets.

Mammoth Mutt and Paw Pooch smashed their way through their obstacles. With little effort and completed their challenge. "Piece of cake," Mammoth Mutt said while deflating herself.

"I thought you were going to give us a challenge," Paw Pooch chuckled.

"If you zay zo," Tusky chuckled. He pressed a few more buttons which let out some familiar-looking catbots, but they looked a little smaller.

"What are these?" Mammouth Mutt questioned.

"Something Brainy wants me to test. I hope they aren't too much for you." Paw Pooch took a deep breath and stood his ground. He and Mammoth Mutt charged towards the training bots who were exactly as strong as the real cat-bots and the two dogs were able to take care of them.

"There. Easy," Paw Pooch proclaimed.

"Who you take a little break, eh?"

"Yeah, that sounds good," Mammoth Mutt agreed. The three left the room and walked through the hall. "So, when did Brainy get those training bots?"

"She was thinking that we should be prepared for everything that Mechanikat throws at us."

"Have you seen what he manages to pull off?" Paw Pooch questioned.

"Well, he's managed to get the upper hand sometimes," Mammoth Mutt stated.

"Yeah, I remember those squeak toys," Tusky sighed. "Can't believe we fell for that."

"Or that stuck school bus."

"I don't remember that one," Paw Pooch admitted.

"Long story short, we got out of there. Let's just check on Brainy." The three carried on the ship's command center. Brainy was pleased to see them.

"I'm assuming that training went well?" Brainy asked.

"Yeah," Paw Pooch and Mammoth Mutt replied.

"I'm guessing those training bots were a success then."

"A bit of a hit and miss," Paw Pooch admitted. "Might be in need of some work."

"Y...Yeah," Mammoth Mutt agreed.

"Hello?" called someone over the ship's communication system. "I'm in a need of assistance."

Brainy was quick to reply but pressing on the control panel's button. "This is Brainy Barker of the Dog Star Patrol. What's your state of emergency."

"I need a ship to hit a ride with. I'm running out of juice."

"I'm setting up a signal for our ship. Use what fuel you have left and we'll let you on board." There was now a sense of worry on the ship.

"What do you think the problem is?" Mammoth Mutt asked.

"Unclear. We'll just have to wait until he shows up."

Later, in the kitchen, Hotdog was in the kitchen when Tail Terrier and Bulldog walked in. "All I'm saying I can't keep myself straight with you bobby about like that," Tail Terrier spoke.

"I'm not a ride guff," Bulldog stated. "I've seen you bounce your tail like a spring."

"That planet had less gravity."

"You know, your chat isn't making just you angry," Hotdog stated. "I'm trying to focus on lunch." He was about to get back preparing the meal when he and the other two dogs heard some faint footsteps along with some across the hall.

"What in tarnation is that?" Tail Terrier questioned. He and Bulldog left the kitchen and Hotdog to his work. However, the chef couldn't help himself and wanted to find out what the sound was. The last time they had something unfamiliar on the ship, he was captured by a certain enemy.

The three dogs walked down the hall until they found... A squirrel. He had a mask on his face, a ring on his left paw, and a fur-tight bodysuit on, all of which were green. However, the trio was more interested in his species. "Squirrel!" they all cried. The green-themed squirrel quickly made a run for it with the three Dog Stars chasing him.

The squirrel scurried to the command center, where the rest of the team were at. "Is that a squirrel in a jumpsuit?" Paw Pooch asked. Things were about to get more interesting when the squirrel's ring started glowing to form a brick wall made of light. Bulldog, Tail Terrier, and Hotdog all rammed into it before it dissipated.

"Do you all really have to do that?" the squirrel questioned.

"Sorry partner," Tail Terrier apologized, "It's just our nature."

"Excuse me," Brainy said, "But are you the one who requested to come on board?"

"Yes," the squirrel said, "I am Ch'p, a member of the Green Lantern Corporation."

"Green Lanterns? This must be serious."

"Indeed."

"Okay, slow down," Hotdog said. "Not all of us know a Green Lantern. Can you explain?"

Ch'p sighed. "The Green Lantern Corporation is an intergalactic space organization, like you Dog Stars. I was actually on a mission to catch a Red Lantern Member, Dex-Starr."

"Red Lantern? What is a Lantern?!"

Ch'p flinched a bit from Hotdog's outburst. "He's usually like this," Tusky noted. "But please do explain."

"Right. Each Lantern shares the same power but each color represents a different emotion. Red for rage, orange for greed, yellow for fear, green for willpower, blue for hope, and violet for compassion. With these power rings, like the one on my tail, we can create anything with the only limits being our imagination, and our rings' battery life."

"How much energy do you have left?" Brainy asked.

"Three hours. Tops. I would recharge it, but Dex-Starr managed to snatch my power battery. Without that, I'll just be a regular squirrel in about three hours."

"Where was the last place you saw Dex-Starr?"

"Ugh. I don't know how to describe it."

"Here, allow me to help." Brainy stepped towards the squirrel in green and placed her paw on his head. Above the leader's head, images of Ch'p were shown flying through space. He was in the middle of a battle with a blue cat in a black and red jumpsuit with a red ring on his tail and red substance spewing from his mouth.

"Is that... Blood?" Bulldog asked, a little disturbed.

"Well, kind of... Maybe," Ch'p responded.

"Focus Ch'p," Brainy said. "Just try and remember your fight."

Ch'p did so and the battle played out. The raging cat and willing squirrel seemed to be at even ground until a space bus started flying by. Dex-Starr formed a set of axes hurling towards the bus, much to the horror of the driver, passengers, and Ch'p. Luckily, the Green Lantern member managed to swoop in and block the axes with a forcefield, allowing the bus enough time to escape. Feeling like he was low on energy, Ch'p was about to plug his ring into his power battery, however, his opponent had other ideas. Dex-Starr formed a raging bull, that charge straight into him, causing Ch'p to lose grip on his power battery while he slammed into an asteroid. When the squirrel recovered, his battery and Dex-Starr were gone.

"Ugh, I can't believe I let my guard down," Ch'p groaned.

"At least you save those passengers," Paw Pooch said.

"Yeah, I guess your right."

"Speaking of passengers, could we get a closer look on that bus?" Mammoth Mutt asked.

"Let's see," Brainy pondered. She played Ch'p's memory back and focused on the bus's sign. "Sarlong. That must be the planet where they're going."

"Well, let's get there right now," Bulldog said. Brainy got back to the ship's controls and set course to the planet Sarlong.

As the crossed the galaxy, Ch'p took a minute to catch his breath. He had been through a lot and still had a problem that needed fixing. "Hey, Ch'p," Mammoth Mutt said, "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"I guess so," the Squirrel replied. "What about?"

"About your ring. Do you choose to be a lantern, or does it chose you?"

"It's a little complex. We don't just create items made of light, we can also fly, like what you saw in that memory flashback, but... It's a little hard to explain. Maybe I can tell you about it when we're in a less dire situation."

"Okay. I'm just curious about... The whole emotional thing."

"I know. Enough about me. What are your powers?"

"Mine is a little more simple." Mammoth Mutt stood back and inflated herself in a big ball. "What do you think?" she asked in a deeper voice.

"Okay, that's interesting. Do you just become... Heavier?"

"Tougher too. Give me a good smack and I can keep on going." She soon started shrinking down to her original size. "The others have powers too. You saw what Brainy can do. Bulldog has retractable horns, Tusky has the same kind of ability but with his tooth, Tail Terrier can use his tail like a lasso, Paw Pooch has extra paws, and Hotdog generator any kind of heat."

"Huh, those are fitting names. Did they get their name or their powers first?"

"...I can't be a hundred percent sure about that. I'm guessing being named Ch'p isn't that confusing is it?"

"If you spell it without an I, maybe."

"Really?"

"Hate to break up your conversation," Tusky apologized, "But we are here." Ch'p and the Dog Stars looked outside to see the planet Sarlong coming into view. The planet had a nice orange and yellow coloring to it and as the ship went down to get a closer look they could see one of the cities on the planet.

The city they were landing in had quite a few large buildings nearby a landing area for ships like theirs. Ch'p and the Dog Stars unboarded the ship and began looking around for the bus from Ch'p's memory or anything out of the ordinary. "Stay on your guard," Ch'p warned, "Dex-Starr could be anywhere."

"So, just to be clear, all rings do practically the same thing," Hotdog said, "But only the color's different?"

"Pretty much. And so is the emotion that powers it."

"Well, didn't you say one of your powers was flight?" Mammoth Mutt questioned.

"It is, but without my battery, I have to conserve as much power as I can."

"How about we split up?" Tail Terrier suggested.

"A good idea on paper, but a red lanternlike Dex-Starr are too powerful for you."

"Listen, mate, we've handled plenty of space problems before," Bulldog stated.

"But we haven't dealt with a lantern before," Brainy stated. "Ch'p knows more about Dex-Starr than us, so we should take his word for it."

The Dog Stars kept looking around until they found a space bus parked in a garage. It looked like the one from Ch'p's memory. "There we go," Paw Pooch said. He quickly ran over there with his team following behind. The bus driver was just about to get back on board until the eight-legged beagle ran up to talk to him. "Excuse me, sir." The driver jumped.

"Sorry about that," Mammoth Mutt said. "We're in a little bit of a hurry. Have you seen..."

"Hold on a minute," the bus driver said. He looked towards Ch'p who stepped forward. "Aren't you that rodent that saved my bus?"

"Yes I am," the squirrel replied. "Ch'p of the Green Lantern Corporation. Do you think you can provide some assistance?"

"Anything."

"Alright. Have you seen a red and blue cat fly away from your near miss?"

"I think I saw something. Though, I can't be a hundred percent because I just wanted to get away before things got ugly."

"We understand," Brainy responded. "But did you see where he went?"

"Hmm. I could've sworn I saw something red fly past my bus. I think it was heading to P.D. 39."

"A trash planet?" Hotdog questioned.

"He must be trying to get rid of my power battery," Ch'p muttered. "Or somehow destroy it. Thank you for the information, sir."

"My pleasure."

"Dog Star, back to the ship," Brainy ordered. "Hopefully there's still some time before..." She was cut off when they heard a loud boom and a couple of screams.

"That can't be good," Tusky commented. They quickly rushed over to where they heard the distressful sounds and could see some red images causing havoc in the city. Floating in the air, Ch'p recognized who was doing this.

"Dex-Starr!" he cried. This grabbed the cat's attention. He glared down at the Green Lantern member as well as the Dog Stars. From his ring, Dex-Starr formed a set of buzz saw blades, which he hurled straight at them. The Dog Stars scattered as Ch'p formed a barrier. He then used the barrier to help protect the various citizens of the city as Dex-Starr's blades were starting to fly everywhere.

"Ch'p, you keep him busy," Brainy ordered, to which the squirrel nodded in response. "Dog Stars, help protect the people." And so they did. While Ch'p and Dex-Starr had their battle, the Dog Stars helped the various aliens evacuate the area.

A building's support was starting to crumble. Mammoth Mutt inflated herself and rolled right where the broken support beam was while Tusky used his tooth to help pry the door open. "Everyone, get to the landing ports," Tusky cried. "Buses will be waiting for evacuation." The aliens inside did as they were told. As soon as the last one left the building, Mammoth Mutt slipped out of her spot and the whole thing came crashing down.

Ch'p was horrified at what he saw and formed a giant fist to smack Dex-Starr through the air away from the city. When the squirrel flew towards the cat to keep him away, they both formed swords and started clashing with each other through the air. Dex-Starr form and guillotine that he hurled at Chip, which the squirrel countered with a shield. Once the shield blocked the deadly construct Ch'p turned his shield into a spear that he charged Dex-Starr with. However, the raging cat flew upwards and formed a battle ax. Ch'p barely had enough time to react and block it with another forcefield before being smacked towards the city.

"Single file," Hotdog said. He noticed one of the aliens trying to run back into the city. "Hey, you can only go back if you have a family member in danger."

"But my collection," the alien stated.

"Look, it's either that or your life." Suddenly, Ch'p smashed into the ground nearby, scaring the alien to run back the other way. "Ch'p, what happened?"

"I can't keep fighting," the squirrel stated. He slowly stood up before looking back at his ring. "I'm going to run out of juice at this rate. I need my battery." A red spike then shot down from the air. Ch'p and Hotdog looked up and see Dex-Starr forming hundreds of spike that were raining down at them. The green lantern squirrel made another shield to help protect the citizens while Hotdog went inside one of the buildings so he could get to the rooftop and "talk" with Dex-Starr.

When the firey Dog Star got to the rooftop and he pounced at the red raging cat while breathing fire. Dex-Starr simply formed a spiky shield that Hotdog landed on, miraculously not impaling himself. Growling, the firey Dachshund tried punching through the shield as Dex-Starr was pleased by his anger. The red lantern then vomited a red substance on Hotdog. "Gah! Gross! What is this, blood?"

"Not quite," Dex-Starr spoke. "It's actually rage plasma. Getting angry?"

"You think?! This is disgusting!" Gritting his teeth, Hotdog jumped off the spike shield and try to breathe fire at Dex-Starr, who countered with his own fire. Dex-Starr smirked as he threw Hotdog back onto the rooftop. "Why you little!" The dachshund screamed out in anger before letting out a huge flame.

At the launch area, the Dog Stars were helping the aliens onto all of the ships in case they needed to. Then, they heard Hotdog's scream. "Something's wrong," Brainy muttered.

"I'm going to go check," Paw Pooch spoke.

"I'm coming with yah," Tail Terrier said. The two ran off back to where Dex-Starr was in the air as Hotdog dropped to the ground. He seemed angrier than hurt. His entire body was in flames. "Easy there, fella. Calm down and we can get that... Whoa!" Tail Terrier and Paw Pooch jumped out of the way before they could get hit by their friend's fire breath.

"Hey, we're on your side." Hotdog wasn't in the mood to listen. His flames got more intense as he launched fire at practically everything. Windows, plants, supports, everything.

"Varmint lost his mind." The two were a little hesitant to attack their friend until they could see something red fly through the air and stopped while hovering over Hotdog. It was a ring that looked just like Dex-Starr's.

"Repeat after me," Dex-Starr said.

"With blood and rage of crimson red, ripped from a corpse so freshly dead," Dex-Starr and Hotdog spoke in unison. "Together with our hellish hate, we'll burn you all, that is your fate." The red ring slipped onto Hotdog's tail as he started getting an outfit similar to Dex-Starr's. Red substance was also starting to drip from his mouth.

"This is going to get ugly," Paw Pooch muttered.

"Get back to the ship!" Tail Terrier cried. The two made a run for it as Dex-Starr chuckled.

"Shall we have some fun?" he asked Hotdog.

Brainy was checking with all of the aliens that were ready for evacuation. Bulldog kept watch for any trouble which came in the form of Tail Terrier and Paw Pooch racing towards them. "What's got them legging it?" Then he saw Dex-Starr and Hotdog forming constructs of dragons, which started breathing fire. Bly me!"

He quickly grabbed the rest of the Dog Star's attention and they started the evacuation for the citizen's safety. Ch'p even made a barrier to help keep the ships safe while they took off. The Dog Stars had gotten on board their ship, they looked out the window to see Hotdog now fighting by Dex-Starr's side.

"What's happened to him?" Tusky questioned.

"I'm afraid he's been infected by Dex-Starr's rage," Ch'p sighed. "Red Lanterns do this when they get control over someone's anger. If someone's anger is great enough Red Lanterns, like Dex-Starr, can make you feed into it."

"Is there a way to fix it?" Bulldog asked.

"Well, I know one way. Blue Lantern rings are some of the most powerful of their kind."

"Is that it?" Tail Terrier asked. "Can't we just pull that ring off of his tail?"

"If we do that, we could risk your friend's life. A Red Lantern ring is practically a rage-fueled heart. Pulling the ring off would be like ripping out a machine's battery."

"This is far more serious than I thought it would be," Brainy admitted.

"And to make things worse, I'm down to an hour of energy tops. We need to find my power battery."

"Then we're heading straight to P.D. 39. It could be our only chance to find that battery." Brainy set the ship's course to the planet as Ch'p let out a massive sigh.

"Are you okay?" Mammoth Mutt asked.

"Doubt it," the squirrel sighed. "I've caused your friend to join one of the deadliest beings in the universe. There's a high chance he could stay that way."

"I thought that Green Lanterns were powered by willpower," Bulldog commented. "What's with the attitude the second a plan gets botched?"

"I'm running low on power and I've already gotten one of your teammates in a position where he might not come back. I'm sorry if I dragged you into this."

"Don't put the blame on yourself," Tail Terrier spoke. "That varment took your battery and he took our friend."

"Yeah, we need to show him who's boss," Paw Pooch said.

Ch'p took a deep breath and stood up. "You're right," he said. "Hopefully I'll have enough energy to find my lantern. Saving Hotdog will be far from easy."

"Hopeful I should be able to help," Brainy said. "Though, I've never had to deal with a Red Lantern before."

"That's where we come in," Paw Pooch said. "We'll be holding down Hotdog while we do whatever you need to snap him back to himself."

"But there is a way aside from a blue ring, right?" Mammoth Mutt asked.

"Well, if we could get Hotdog to experience some bit of hope," Ch'p said. "It's still very risky."

"Either we keep on the enemy's side never see the good of him again, or we risk snapping him out of it," Tail Terrier said. "I say we go for it."

"Alright then." The ship flew towards the trash planet.

P.D. 39 was not a pretty sight. Piles of trash were all over the place. Heavy machinery was there to scoop it up and other machines meant it to burn it down. Some of them were able to melt some materials into new items, like metal and plastic. The Dog Stars landed on the planet and walked out of the ship. "Blimey, the smell..." Bulldog groaned.

"Darn tootin," Tail Terrier agreed.

"Let's just find that battery," Paw Pooch said. He quickly ran over to one of the piles and started digging. The rest of the Dog Stars helped out with their powers, Tusky used his tooth to drill a couple of holes, Bulldog used his horns like crowbars, Mammoth Mutt's inflatable limbs, Brainy's levitation, they all did what they could. Ch'p helped out too, but he wasn't using his ring as he was trying to conserve as much power as he could.

Suddenly, they heard some growling. "Please tell me that was a bulldozer," Mammoth Mutt begged. Instead, it turned out to be Hotdog and Dex-Starr. The two created some constructs of sledgehammers before trying to slam them down on the Dog Stars. They managed to move out of the way before they could get crushed.

"Ch'p, now would be a good time to act," Brainy spoke.

"I don't have much juice left," the squirrel muttered, "But I know what I have to do." He quickly took flight and formed two lasso constructs and used them to catch Hotdog and Dex-Starr. He threw the dachshund towards the ground just as the cat used some blades cut out of the lasso wrapped around him. He then rammed into Ch'p, sending the squirrel flying into a tower of trash. "Man, it's never easy." Ch'p flew up to fight with Dex-Starr while the Dog Stars dealt with Hotdog.

The firey dachshund was making constructs that were mostly themed around fire. Whether it was his ordinary fire breath or from a dragon construct. The Dog Stars were having a very difficult time getting close to Hotdog. Brainy, Tusky, and Bulldog managed to hide behind one of the trash piles as they tried to come up with a plan.

"Alright," Bulldog said, "How do get close to him?"

"We have to try and get them and try and make him remember some bit of hope," Brainy said.

"How about that time we got those squeaky toys?" Tusky suggested.

"Brilliant mate," Bulldog commented. "Or what about that time when Bathound had to help find him?"

"I'll try and remember whatever I can," Brainy said. They looked out of their hiding spot to see Hotdog trying to attack the rest of the Dog Stars.

"You dumb mutts, STAY STILL!" Hotdog screamed. He kept shooting fire all over the place as Bulldog managed to get a running start at him. He jumped off one of the piles and ramming into the furious dog. This cause Hotdog to fall to the ground and Brainy held him in place with her telekinesis. She struggled to keep him in place, but thankfully Tail Terrier was able to help out with his tail.

"Hotdog, you have to remember who you were," Brainy said. She placed her paw on his head to clear his mind. Remember how you helped us in some of our toughest times. Snokey's squeaky bones, our first meeting with Krypto, every time we fought Mechanikat. Think really hard." Brainy's words appeared to be getting through the firey dog, which infuriated the red lantern cat. He created a dragon construct and made it shoot fire.

Luckily for Brainy, Ch'p flew in with a forcefield to keep her safe. However, as soon as the flames dissipated so did the squirrel's construct and his outfit. Ch'p dropped to the ground as he was officially out of juice. "Crud!" he cried.

"Perfect," Dex-Starr smirked. He formed various constructs of sharp objects and hurled them at Ch'p, who knew it was time to make a run for it. Paw Pooch ran in and picked him up to help him get away from the sharp constructs.

"I need my power battery now."

"I know that," Paw Pooch responded. They could stop to look around because Dex-Starr wasn't going to waste a chance to kill them. Fortunately, Mammoth Mutt was still looking around until she found something green. A lantern.

"Hey, Ch'p!" she called out, "Is this what you're looking for?!"

The squirrel looked over to the chihuahua and gasped. "That's it!" he cheered. Paw Pooch saw the lantern too and quickly ran towards his crewmate. Dex-Starr wouldn't let them win, so he created a construct of a moon that was accurate in size. Mammoth Mutt saw this and tossed it to the squirrel. The moon construct was hurled down towards the planet with some flames due to reentry. Ch'p plugged his ring into the lantern, took a deep breath, and chanted the oath.

"In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's light!" With that, Ch'p's ring was fully charged. Once that was done, he formed a giant drill that he used to obliterate the red moon. "Thanks, guys. You help your friend, I'll handle Dex." Ch'p flew into the air forming a rocket construct that collided with Dex-Starr, exploding upon impact. The two different colored lanterns were now in a big brawl while the Dog Stars raced over to Hotdog. He was still stuck under the red ring's effects.

"Hotdog," Brainy spoke, "Think about everything you remember from being a part of the team." The red hot canine recalled all the time he and his team pulled through, even when their backs were against the wall. He let out several groans of pain as his ring start letting out red spark with random constructs only existing for half a second each. Paw Pooch tried pulling it off, but it was on tighter that lid on a pickle jar. Tusky and Bulldog gave him a hand. The three pulled with all their might, Brainy kept bringing back Hotdog's memories, while everyone else held him down.

Ch'p and Dex-Starr, meanwhile, were trying to blast each other out of orbit. Swords parring axes, shields blocking fire, even some creative ones like Ch'p catching Dex-Starr's meteor with a construct of a baseball mitt. Before he could make another attack, the red and blue cat could see what the Dog Stars were doing. Enraged, he formed a biplane and dive-bombed at the dog. Ch'p thought fast and formed and jet and flew ahead of the angry cat. He quickly made a ramp and a set of wheels that he used to catch Dex-Starr's plane. It rolled across the ramp and over the Dog Stars just as they managed to pull the ring off Hotdog's tail. With a loud scream and bright flash, Hotdog returned to normal and nearly fell limp.

"Mon ame, are you alright?" Tusky asked, concerned.

The firey dog groaned and he pushed himself up on his shaky leg before collapsing again. "I feel like my body's getting hit with frozen needles everywhere," he muttered weakly. "Other than that, I'm good."

"Let's get you back to the ship so you can heal up," Brainy suggested. Paw Pooch just started picking his injured teammate up, but he and the team jumped when they heard a big explosion. Ch'p and Dex-Starr were pretty even in their fight.

"I think it's about time we get even with Dex," Mammoth Mutt spoke. The rest of the Dog Stars agreed. While Paw Pooch took Hotdog back to the ship, the others lept into action to the Red Lantern.

"You cost us a new recruit!" Dex-Starr roared.

"He's already on a team," Ch'p stated before forming a hose to spray the mad cat. Dex-Starr retaliated with a breath of fire, causing a large cloud of steam to form. Because of this, the red and blue cat couldn't see Bulldog ram into him.

"What? Where'd you...?" He couldn't finish before he was whipped by Tail Terrier's tail, then punched by Mammoth Mutt's inflated fist, smacked by Tusky's tooth, and forced against one of the trash towers by Brainy's levitation. Just as the steam was starting to clear, Dex-Starr had just enough time to see Ch'p flying towards him with a giant fist construct. The Green Lantern smacked his opponent, knocking the entire trash tower over, but more importantly, knocking the mad cat out. Taking his chance, Ch'p formed a construct of a cage, trapping the Red Lantern inside. He looked towards the rest of the Dog Stars.

"Thanks for the help guys."

"Anything to put brutes like this behind bars," Brainy responded. "Will you need any more help?"

"I can handle it from here. You just make sure your friend's alright." Ch'p waved goodbye to the Dog Stars, before flying away, taking his fugitive with him.

With their most recent mission complete, the Dog Star flew through space back on patrol. Tail Terrier and Bulldog walked into the kitchen looking for a meal. "Can you really believe what we've been through?" Tail Terrier questioned.

"I'll never complain about fighting Mechanikat ever again," Bulldog agreed. "You'd have to be daft to fight one of him."

"So, you're calling me an idiot?" asked a familiar voice. The two looked to see Hotdog walking with Paw Pooch by his side.

"'Ello mate, you're looking better."

"Mentally and psychically," Hotdog spoke. "Think I'll be sticking with Snooky and the Catbots. Anyways, what will it be?"

"You sure you're fit to cook?" T.T. asked.

"So as long as the stove doesn't find back, which is unlikely, I'll be fine."

"If you say so," Bulldog said. He and T.T. walked out of the room.

Hotdog looked towards Paw Pooch. "I can cook by myself."

"Alright then," Paw Pooch responded. He followed the two out of the kitchen as Hotdog got to work making a meal.

Paw Pooch met up with Tusky, Mammoth Mutt, and Brainy in the control room. "How's Hotdog doing?" Brainy asked.

"He's all better now. In fact, he's cooking."

"That's good to hear," Tusky commented.

"I hope we don't deal with someone like Dex ever again," Mammoth Mutt sighed.

"Indeed," Brainy agreed. "Thank goodness there are animals like Ch'p are there to help make sure they pay for their crimes." With the trouble behind them, the Dog Star carried with their patrol, helping to make sure the galaxy was safe.
