Another Hero Academia

The night was still young as the tall man in dark robes walked down the dark alleyway. He took a glance behind to see if anyone had followed him. He pulled his hood up even further to completely hide his face in the darkness. About halfway through, he came to a stop and knocked on a door.

A small slit on the door opened up as a pair of eyes looked through. The person on the other side took a quick look at the mysterious figure. They closed the small opening and unlocked the door, letting the tall man inside. The hooded figure was greeted by another man who was shorter in stature. He had black hair with a bowl cut, his eyes were a cold blue. The man removed the toothpick in his mouth and flicked it away. He then motioned for the man to follow him without saying a word.

The two men walked in silence, as they headed down a small corridor that led into a large room. In this room, which was mostly empty, say for a few table and chairs, were only two other people. One was a young woman with short black hair and red streaks, she was wearing a skin tight suit that showed off her curves. She looked towards the mysterious man with her teal eyes as she took a sip of her drink.

The other was a large man sitting at one of the tables, he had messy grey brown hair. He wore a large brown coat and motioned his guest towards him.

"You`re late." The man said in his gruff voice.

The man in the dark robes took a seat. "You didn't really specify a time." He replied.

"Do you have what I asked for?"

"Yes." The man answered, sliding him what looked to be a thumb drive. "Everything you need to know is on that drive."

He took the item and tossed it to the young woman behind him. "Good, let's just hope that your intel is solid."

"I haven't let you down yet."

The large man chuckled as he lit a cigar and began smoking. "True, but let's see what Skylar has to say." He said, turning towards the young woman behind him.

"I told you to stop calling me that." She replied, not taking her eyes off of the laptop she was using to check the drive.

"Well that is your name isn't it?"

"The intel looks good boss." Skylar replied, completely ignoring his other question.

The boss simply nodded as he took another puff of his cigar. "Good, good. Looks like you came through."

The man in the robes looked at the boss questionably. "We`re you starting to doubt me?"

"Let's just say I always believed you had ulterior motives."

"Motives more ulterior than yours?"

He laughed. "Touché."

"You know, you never did tell me what you plan to use this intel for?" The robed man asked.

"Its all part of the plan."

"What plan?"

Taking one more puff of his cigar before he put it out, the boss replied. "The plan to bring society to its knees. To have them tremble in fear. Bring the balance back to this out of balance world."

"That's a pretty grandeur plan. You`re going to need a lot more than my intel to help you achieve it."

The boss stood up from his seat. "Yes, well I have support from a very generous benefactor."

"Oh? Who might that be?" The man asked.

"Let's just say he is a great influencer in the underworld."

The man looked at him quizzically before shrugging it off. "Whatever plan you have for society. You will surely receive opposition from the heroes."

The boss laughed. "Sure, there might be a few heroes who can stand in our way, but they will eventually fall too. They are nothing more than hypocrites that want to flaunt their power."

"That may be true of most heroes, but what about All Might?"

The three patrons in the room flinched at the name of the greatest hero in the world. "All Might…. yes, All Might may be the only true hero, but he is on the other side of the world. He can't be everywhere at once; besides I have assurance from my benefactor that he won't be a problem for us here in the states."

"Well, I guess we will see how it goes then."

The boss nodded and extended his hand out to his guest. "The world will soon know our power."

The man shook his hand. "I look forward to it."

"Grant will show you out."

Without saying anything more, the mysterious man exited the way he came in. He completed his task and now is was just a waiting game. There was much work to be done and hopefully his partner would fulfill his end of the bargain.

The alarm blared, waking Adam from his slumber. He slowly opened his eyes as he reached for his phone. He unlocked it and looked at the time 6:30 am flashed on the screen. "Oh shit!" He said, as he shot up from his bed.

Adam overslept and now he only had 30 minutes to get ready. On any other day it wouldn't be such a big deal, but today was a special day. Today were the United States of America Hero Academy entrance exams. Adam has been waiting for this day all summer, just like every other inspiring hero in America. He rushed into the bathroom as he began to brush his teeth in record time. He immediately got dressed and headed downstairs in order to catch the bus in time.

As Adam made it downstairs, he rushed past his mom and grabbed his bag before heading out the door.

"Sweetie, don't you want any breakfast?" His mom asked.

"No can-do mom, running late. See you later, love you!" He said, slamming the door behind him.

His mom looked on bewildered for a moment, before giving a smile. "That boy has too much energy sometimes." She said to herself.

Adam looked to his phone again as he started running down the block. 6:55 am that meant he only had five minutes to get to the bus stop, but it was still a few blocks away.

"I know quirks aren't allowed to be used in public, but I think this constitutes as an emergency. Time to kick it into high gear." He said as he took a deep breath and let a surge of energy fill his body.

Adam smiled to himself as he began to jet down the street at a much faster pace. He ungracefully tried to dodge as many people as he could. Almost running over a man that walked in front of him.

"Hey watch it kid!" The man yelled at him.

Adam turned back and smiled. "Sorry about that."

Quirk: High Energy

He is able to use the energy his body creates into various applications. He must constantly rejuvenate the energy within him, whether that be eating or sleeping. Although, the more energy he uses, the more tired he becomes.

The bus pulled to its stop as Adam slowed down. He made it just in time and got on the bus, using his bus pass to pay for the ride. He took a seat towards the back as he caught his breath and pulled out a granola bar to restore his strength.

After a fifteen-minute ride, the bus pulled up to the United States of America Hero Academy or USAHA for short. Adam got off the bus and stared in awe at the gigantic facility. USAHA is the number one hero school in America, located in Washington D.C. many students come here from all over the country looking to start their careers as hero's. The facility had a sleek futuristic design, which was accented by the bright silver color of it. Adam couldn't believe that there was a possibility of him attending this school.

He began to walk towards the main gate where there were staff members handing out a guide to the incoming applicants. Adam took a guide and began to follow the instructions, the first step was to head to the main office and sign in, in order to take the written exam.

"Well this is it Adam. Let's get this show on the road." He told himself.

This was it; this was the start of a new adventure for Adam. Not only for him, but for every other young adult coming to show that they have what it takes to attend this prestige`s school. They would need to find future heroes, those that would be able to fight off the burgeoning darkness. With that darkness looming ever closer, America needed heroes now more than ever.

Hey everyone! I`m here to submit a story on one of favorite animes! I thought that the end of season 4 was just awesome and was animated way past my expectations. That gave me the idea to start my own story, one that is set in America. I always thought what hero life is like in the states and we dont have much info from the show, so I thats why I wanted to do this!

I`m pretty sure there are plenty of stories on here that are based in USA from other authors, but this is going to be my take on it. I have a plan on how I want to do this, but I thought it would be fun to include some of you who will hopefully read this story. So that's why I want you guys to submit your own OC`s to help me build this world!

Now I know pretty much everyone of you guys know the lore and how things go on in the world of My Hero, especially if you read the manga. So I`m going to make this submission process short and sweet. I just want you guys to give me the basics of your character that you want to submit and any other details that you want to include. When submitting your character, make sure you guys send it through PM so it makes it a lot easier for me to communicate with you.

Here is the basic outline I want. I`m pretty much looking for around 9 characters that will make up the core cast, but I`m willing to take more to use as my version of the Top Ten Heroes. So if don't want to submit a younger character and want to submit a hero that could be in the top ten, than go for it! Although that character will have to be really thought out. I will also take villians if you guys are interested in submitting those.

That is basically it! Now just because I gave you guys an outline of what I am looking for doesn't mean this is all there is to it. Those of you who submit a character can add as much detail as you want! I want your characters to be unique and creative! Also everyone has a limit of submitting only two characters so think carefully. I hope to see a lot of submissions! Thanks!
