"You're leaving?! Just like that?" Harvey didn't know what got into him as if he wanted her to stay and continue their conversation that he himself doesn't really know where it'll go.

"There's no reason for me to stay here, Harvey" She sounded so defeated and she doesn't even know why.

"You kept asking me questions. Tell me this Donna, why are you here at my place and not with Thomas?!" Donna froze, she couldn't even face him nor answer his question

She didn't expect Harvey's question, it's like all the air got sucked out of her lungs. She needed to breathe, she saw that the sliding door to the balcony is slightly ajar so she went ahead, opened it and went out there instead and Harvey walked towards her. She inhaled all the air she could take.

Donna doesn't know why she's still there and much more she doesn't know how to answer Harvey's question. As if that wasn't enough, Harvey fired up another question…

"Was it really Thomas that didn't want me on this case or you?!" This time, Harvey's voice was as low as it can get. This conversation is something they have avoided for years. It's time to get answers.

How dare he! That's all she thought. She turned around to face Harvey.. "You're unfair you know. You want me to answer but you couldn't answer mine." They weren't screaming at each other, but the questions they threw at each other felt like it was a scream. A scream that needs to be heard and answered.

"I don't need you to answer for me Donna, I want you to answer for yourself"

"What?!"

"You know exactly why you're here and what's going on here and all your questions that I couldn't answer.. you KNOW why…because I know why you're here too and not with Thomas!"

"Then why Harvey" She asked for the last time. It was an ultimatum for him..but mostly for her to stop hoping that something could happen. Once again, Harvey couldn't tell her.

She was about to leave when Harvey told her….

" Because you're the most important person in my life, Donna and I may be crazy but I know I'm yours too" He can't risk it. Not anymore. He now knows why he'd do anything for her. "Let's stop the chase Donna, you feel it I feel it!"

She didn't expect what Harvey just said to her. They stared at each other for a moment. And at that moment they both know.

He ran to her and kissed her hungrily and she reciprocated the kiss. It was a kiss with desire and passion at the same time. That was it for them. They're each other's endgame. They ended in his bedroom and made up for the 13 years that was lost.
