Tuesday went by quickly, after classes I had another shift at the bar with Brock, it was busier so not as much time to talk, but the time we did have to talk was fun, we shared hobbies and interests and I found out he's studying Business, hoping to take over his dad's business one day, he also helps coach the football team in spare time. We spoke a little bit more about what happened between him and Bucky, but we dropped it after a while, because I genuinely felt uncomfortable discussing it, especially since it was Brock it happened to.

By the time Wednesday had come and the idea of what Bucky had done had stirred around in my head, I decided I didn't like him. Sure, he seemed nice, but nice people don't cheat with other guys girlfriends. I decided to try and switch seats for our History class.

I was able to switch with the girl a few seats back on the other side of the stairs, it helped I noticed her giving goo-goo eyes to Bucky a few times in the last class. When I sat myself down and settled for the class, Bucky walked up the rows, noticed a new girl in my seat he looked around and I dropped my head as he looked over. The class went by slow after that, another assignment set, more reading. As I walked out, I felt a hand grab my arm lightly,

"Hey," I turned to see Bucky, "Why'd you move?"

"I didn't like that desk, I'm left-handed over there is better for me," It makes no difference, but there's no way I want to get into the story and hear some lame excuse.

"Oh." He frowned, "I never noticed… so how's work?"

"Fine. Look I got to go, I've got like two essays to finish for tomorrow and reading." I spun around and walked to the library.

When I entered the dorm later that night, Nat cornered me,

"What's up with you?" She asked

"What do you mean?" I dropped my book bag and sat down to untie my shoes,

"Bucky said you were really short with him today, and moved seats?"

"Wow, didn't realise that was news worthy! And in other news the economy is crumpling and your president is the colour of a tangerine."

"Jesus, you're snappy today,"

"I'm fine. As if me moving seats is worth the 3rd degree."

"I was just checking in, roomie,"

"Yeah well, I moved seats. I also broke a nail and ate a sub for lunch,"

She rolled her eyes, "This attitude is not a cute look at you,"

"Whatever, I'm having an early night," I walked off to settle into bed with some reading.

Mine and Nat's relationship did not ease up, I figured it was going to get to the point where one of us was going to move out, and it wasn't going to be me. Bucky and I only spoke in passing, if we had to. A few weeks passed before we were all actually in the same room again.

After a Saturday shift Brock invited me to a house party, I need the break, from class, friends, everything, so I accepted. I offered to meet him there so I could run home to freshen up. Nat was nowhere to be seen, so I whipped off my clothes and changed into a navy-blue skater dress with cold shoulders and some lace detailing on the skirt. Freshening up my make-up and brushing my hair I felt acceptable, Brock never said it was a date but honestly, I wanted to make the effort just in case. I grabbed my shoulder bag, and a pair of heels, and walked out. I text Brock:

Me: On my way over, shouldn't be too long :)

Brock: Want me to come get you?

Me: Thanks, but no, I'll see you soon x

Brock had been so nice to me since starting at the bar, I wish Nat would give him a chance, Bucky's the ass who screwed his girlfriend.

It took me a little while to get to the house, but I made it, as soon as I walked in, I heard my name, it was Brock across the room.

"Hey! I got you a beer, come here!" I walked over smiling, he not so subtly looked me up and down "You look great"

"Maybe a little overdressed?" Eyeing everyone else in jeans and leggings

"No way, prettiest girl here," he nudged my shoulder with his, I blushed "Drink up, it's a party"

I took a sip, weird tasting beer, must be an America thing, "Thanks for inviting me, I couldn't wait to let my hair down,"

He was stretching to look outside, "Yeah yeah, hey let's go outside for a bit?"

"Um yeah sure?"

He grabbed my elbow and tugged me outside, grabbing us a couple of shots on the way, "here" he pushed one into my hand

"Oh, a bit early for-"

"Come on, I thought you wanted to let your hair down?" he tapped his glass to mine and looked at me expectantly, "3, 2, 1" I sighed and threw it back, it burned, I downed my beer to get rid of the taste,

"That was nasty! What was it?-"

"Another?" Brock seemed to pull them out of nowhere, I hesitated about to speak, "Come on, don't be boring,"

I frowned at him, grabbed it and threw it back,

"I need another beer, that one was worse,"

"I'll go grab you one"

As I waited, I looked around the garden, is that Nat? And Bucky? And Steve and Sharon?

"Hey Kate! It's been a while! Didn't know you were coming? Nat didn't mention it." It was Sam

"I'm not here with Nat, in fact she didn't even tell me this was happening,"

"Oh," He looked awkward, "Who you wit-"

"Brock... Rumlow"

Sam frowned as Brock appeared with a drink, he slung with arm around me, I would have shrugged it off but honestly that weird tasting beer and nasty shots were making me dizzy already.

"Sammy, how's it going man?"

Sam turned on his heel walking straight to Bucky, I saw them all look over, I turned away and took big gulps of my beer.

"That good?" Brock laughed, I nodded.

After a couple more beers and me getting dizzier by the sip, Brock tried to pull me over to dance, and I felt myself stumble,

"Woah, hey you don't look too good, let's go find somewhere for you to lie down,"

I nodded, as I let Brock hold my waist and steer in indoors and upstairs. Leading and pushing me to a vacant bedroom.

I felt him lightly push me onto a bed, laughing "What a lightweight" I heard a camera shutter, or what sounded like one, "You look so cute like this."

My head was spinning, and I didn't have any energy to talk, so I tried to hum an answer. I felt a breeze hit my thighs and it felt like the fabric of my skirt was being lifted, then another camera shutter.

A hand ran fingers through my hair, then they were touching my lips. And then it felt like someone was kissing me. I tried to pull away but the hand was back in my hair pulling me closer, what's happening.

Another hand ran down my side, squeezing my thigh tightly, it hurt. The same hand ran up and under my dress to my chest, squeezing again, I tried to move away but I couldn't. I couldn't feel everything and I couldn't do anything to stop it, I could only hum.

The hand in my hair pulled away, the lips pushing harder onto mine, pushing my head harder into the bed, another camera shutter, and another, and another.

After what felt like an eternity of groping and kissing, the body moved away. There was a knock on the door. It opened.

"Yeah yeah, I just found her like this, I'm going to go grab her some water."

I recognised the voice. The door closed; I was alone. I passed out.
