" Ok question" Demi took a swig from the bottle of beer he found in the propaganda center, letting the glass bottle come to rest on the table as he looked over at Alex who drank from her own. It was dark out now, and Jessikah was still gone. While Demi wasn't complaining, he did wish she could hurry up. The beer the Cawdor morons had tasted like raw arse, and there wasn't much left. "I tell ya, Why do we always seem to brawl in a bar?"

"Well," Alex took a drink of her own beer, sighing after she did. "We're Orlocks, its what we do, plus you seem to enjoy it."

"Silver linin', right?" Demi's attention was drawn by bright, orange light behind him. The ganger turned to see Jessikah had returned, shaking her head as she walked right past them, and deeper into the propaganda center. "Oi, Jess, you got something for us or…?"

"Huh? Oh, right, I think Shiv had something on a map for some old tech; the thing every gang is basically salivating over. I'm gonna have a look into it. I the meantime we need to get a ride."

"And here I thought we'd be forced to run everywhere," Alex commented, getting to her feet. "Just tell us where to go. Beats sitting around here all day."

"Amen to that, sister—"

"Don't call me sister you fuck." Demi just chuckled again. He was gonna enjoy messing with Alex. Demi hopped to his feet and tossed his bottle away, collecting his handgun and checking it.

"Sister Russo has a point," He grinned at her fuming expression. "Where do we go?"

"The old abandoned malfactories is a good start."

"…well, let's get running. Sooner we do this, the sooner we get some wheels."

"Agreed, old man." Jessikah teased and got moving, followed by the robot and Alex. He wasn't looking forward to the run.

Jessikah was…she wasn't sure how to feel. She and the others were standing outside the scrapyard in the ruins of the old Malfactories, watching someone dispatch a bandit in a messy, but amusing fashion…someone who was…well, being nice, big.

"Oh, hey, you folks are the Inheritors, right?" She had a rich, Southern drawl to her voice, the woman visibly quaking as she turned to look at them, smiling warmly. "I'm Ellie, good to meet'cha. Y'all here to get a ride, right? Or," Ellie looked over at Demi and flashed a sharp grin. "Y'all come here for something else?" Alex was finding utter delight also in the look of pure fear in Demi's eyes, though it was clear he wasn't gonna get far if he ran, courtesy of Jessikah's hand being clamped down on his shoulder.

"To get a ride, yes," The robot spoke up. "But we were not informed that you would be so…ravishing."

…eh?

"Well thank you! Glad someone appreciates a girl with a lil' thickness, if ya catch m'drift."

Ellie was…well she was big alright, but she certainly wasn't thick.

Regardless, the large woman hobbled off, directing them to follow as Jessikah stepped forward.

Jessikah heard yet another explosion as she drove the car back to their base, looking over her shoulder to see Alex, still in the gunner seat, yelling loudly as she fired the rocket launcher again, turning enemies into nothing but spare parts and bits. Demi and the robot were unaccounted for, mainly because Demi had informed Jessikah he was going to get some weapons while they brought the vehicle back to the base. It wasn't a far drive, but Jessikah was taking all the detours she could, namely, to let Alex have her fun in blowing apart anything that dared to get within shooting distance, and considering the Alex's aim, that was far.

"WOO! Another dead Cawdor fuck!" Jessikah found the Alex's laughter contagious, chuckly earnestly to herself as she finally brought the car where it needed to be, hearing Alex begrudgingly disembark from it as the vehicle.

"Looked like you were having a lot of fun out there, weren't you?" Jessikah asked.

"Yeah, sorta…sorta a bad habit from my days working in the astra Millitarium. With the sort of stuff they had us doing, it's good to find fun wherever you can so you don't lose your shit and go crazy."

"And you find amusement in blowing things apart?"

"Yep. Ain't healthy, but…y'know, is anything in this city healthy?"

"Ha, I suppose not. Anyways, how did you end up here and not in the Imperial Guard anymore "Alex, of course, made a disgusted face, looking like she was about to vomit.

"Whats wrong?"

"Its a Delaques rumour, i was never in the Imperial Gaurd "Alex's laughter once again sparked some laughter from Jessikah too. She didn't expect to find friends, but she was glad she did. No one said she had to hunt alone, after all.

"Awwww, are we interruptin' a bonding moment?" The Leader glanced over to see Demi pull his own Ride into the base, hopping out along with The robot.

"No, just two girls having a pleasant talk, you fuck waffle." Alex spat. Demi just grinned once again.

"Ah, gotta try harder with your insults, Sister Russo. Anyhow, robotman 'n I secured some weapons and a special weapon, what was it again

"A sniper with a shotgun underbarrel that lit things on fire also."

Jessikah was going to fight them for that weapon. Fight them and win.

The Inheritors the set out to locate the Sun Smashers gang. The gang apparently found the Map, and had planned to offer it to the Cawdor's to gain entry into their "happy family".

Everyone knew, even the robot, for a fact it would end poorly. One didn't need a self-aware robot to figure that out.

The robot stepped out of the ride, adjusting the new sniper rifle that was picked up as the robot looked at the sunrise in the distance. They usually didn't like to stay up so long, since they had a finite battery, but it was fine. Once they located the Sun Smashers and the map, then they could recharge.

Advancing with the others, Demi was surprised to find the Sun Smasher camp in…well ruins. Not like it was abandoned, but as if it were assailed and attacked.

This theory was proven when they could see some bandits walking around, bearing the cawdor, motif and colours.

"Shit, the Cawdor's got the Smashers? Damn…get after them. Last thing we need is them getting their hands on the map." The robot heard Jessikah's voice. Demi and the others were already rushing in, the Robots doing the same, but at a belated pace, namely to take pot shots at the gangers with their sniper, killing them swiftly as the robot heard…yelling. Not frantic screaming, but like someone calling for help. Placing the sniper onto their back and drawing their handgun, The robot proceeding down a rocky path to…reach an odd sight.

A woman was trapped in some Magclamps.

"Oh, hey, can you give me a hand here?"

"…and just who are you?" The robot asked. "Are you clan Escher?"

"Oh, this? Just…well my clan didn't take kindly to the whole…well my refusal of the Cawdor's offer. A-Also my name's Noire, former Escher ganger i guess."

"Offer?" Demi stepped closer. "You declined the invitation to the Cawdor's why?"

"Weeeeeeell, for a lotta reasons. One is that i didn't trust the Cawdor's," Alex found that hard to believe. "…and also…can you let me out? I think I'm losing bloodflow to my limbs—" The four looked at each other, discussing the possibilites, Jessikah then hit the release button, sending Noire tumbling to the ground with a grunt. "…ow. That hurts…a-anyhow, who are you?"

"We are the Inheritors." Noire's eyes widened.

"Wait, can i join your gang? I got big news on where the map is!" The robot just stepped in front of Noire, just as a bullet, came through the side of its head, just missing Noire " Well we have an opening now." Demi mused

" Well we cant leave her here " Alex said

" Right, Demi grab the robot and lets head back to the base " Jessikah said, she turned to Noire " If your info is useless your going back in that Magclamps, got it "

Noire meekly nodded.
