Hey everycreature! What's up!?

So this has been something on my mind since the episode, The Last Crusade, in which Terramar and Gabby share a fist bump and in my head I went… "I ship it!" (Although I don't know what a good name for the ship would be…)

So I hope you enjoy this!

With Cutie Mark Crusader Appreciation Day coming to a close, those that lived outside Ponyville started heading off to the train station to go back home, along those was a white colored coated young male hippogriff with a light blue mane, who was going to catch the next train to Mt. Aris. Unfortunately the train wouldn't arrive for awhile as he sat down on the platform with his sister, who was going to see him off. As the young hippogriff was sitting down on one of the benches, he noticed a young female griffon, who was standing a few feet away, also waiting for the next train to arrive.

"When are you going to ask her out Terramar?" The young hippogriff's sister asked. "You can't keep staring at her until she's gone."

"Silverstream!" Terramar almost said too loudly, his face blushing bright red from embarrassment, but luckily the griffon didn't notice, too busy keeping a look out for the train as Terramar lowered his voice. "I just met Gabby today, how do you expect me to go out with her?"

"You don't have to do that now, but you should talk to her more." Silverstream said. "Your chance is waiting right there, take it before it leaves. Literally." Terramar's sister pointing out where they were as Terramar returned his gaze at Gabby, sighing.

During the celebration for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, in which everyone who the CMCs helped over the years was invited, being presented with a key to Ponyville by Mayor Mare and even a fly over from the Wonderbolts, everyone present stayed for a little party, getting to know each other. Although Terramar went over to the nearby School of Friendship to see his sister and catch up with her before he needed to head on back home.

However the real reason he did that was to avoid sharing a chat with Gabby, the young female griffon who wasn't like the other griffons, being so full of energy. And not only that, but Terramar found her rather pretty, he had this feeling about Gabby he didn't have for the female hippogriffs and seaponies his age back home. And while walking from the Ponyville town hall to the School of Friendship, he hesitated several times on whether or not to turn back around and talk with Gabby. And when he finally reached the school and met up with his sister, she caught on to her brother's behavior, but couldn't quite put the pieces together until right now at the train station…

"I don't know…" Terramar replied. "If she rejects me…"

"Listen brother, I met Gabby before and she's a great griffon, she's going to like you no matter what." Silverstream smiled. "And you'll never know unless you try."

Terramar thought about it for a quick minute… What did he have to lose by going over to her, the train station was mostly quiet and he didn't know how long it would be until he got another chance. So summing up every ounce of courage he had in him, he got up off the bench, taking a deep breath.

"I guess it's worth a try." Terramar said.

"That's the spirit." Silverstream smiled. "And good luck." Silverstream encouraged her brother.

Terramar trotted on over to where Gabby was standing, still keeping a look out for the train and not noticing the hippogriff come up next to her. Terramar took it as a sign of the train not coming yet that he should go and speak with Gabby.

"Getting a little impatient for the train to come?" Terramar spoke up nervously as the hippogriff's voice made Gabby jump a little in surprise, not expecting anyone to be speaking directly to her.

"Oh, you startled me a little, got to be careful, don't want to accidentally claw at you." Gabby turning her attention as she was looking at Terramar now. "We met each other today, at the Cutie Mark Crusaders celebration, right? Terramar is it?"

"Yes and you're Gabby right?" Terramar asking in return, although he already knew her name.

"Well, my full name is Gabriella, but I do go by Gabby, much easier for others to remember." Gabby answered.

"Right…" Terramar nervously chuckled. "So… How do you know the CMCs?"

"Oh, one day I came to Ponyville to look for them and long story short, they helped me find my real purpose, took awhile for me to figure it out and some embarrassing moments." Gabby smiling nervously as she remembered that time. "What about you?"

"Oh, they helped me figure out my problem of where to stay, either below in Seaquestria or on top on Mt. Aris, turns out I didn't need to pick either one at all." Terramar explained.

"Must be nice, getting to change your form and explore more." Gabby thought. "Griffonstone can be a little dull at times, that's why I love being the mail carrier, I get to move around a lot." Gabby smiled.

"Yeah…" Terramar agreed, having a look that would have told anyone he was on the verge of a breakdown and in the back of his mind, he imagined his sister telling him, "Just ask already!"

"You okay Terramar?" Gabby wondered as the hippogriff's expression changed. "Something wrong?"

"No…" Terramar began. "It's just… I wanted to ask and admit something to you…"

"Oh, what?" Gabby asked, blinking her eyes several times in anticipation of what the hippogriff would ask.

"Gabby… This might seem too sudden, but… I sort of… Like you…" Terramar got out. "And maybe we could… You know… Hang out in either of our homes one day…" Terramar finally getting out, although part of him wanted to say "Go out on a date", he was too afraid to say that.

"Wow…" Gabby very much surprised. "I had no idea you were interested in me… Not too many griffons my age ever ask me out."

"Really?" Terramar now surprised in return. "But you're so energetic, pretty…" Terramar stopped, covering his beak very quickly with one of his claws as Gabby laughed and was now the one blushing bright red.

"If you don't know, Griffons aren't exactly known to care much for relationships, in fact you're one of the first to say that about me…" Gabby cleared things up. "And I'm flattered you think that way about me."

"Thanks…" Terramar now scratching the back of his head with one of his claws. "So, do you want to hang out?"

"Definitely, as long as I can visit you on Mt. Aris first, maybe even let me become a seapony with that piece of the pearl you wear." Gabby requested.

"Deal." Terramar finally began to relax a little as the familiar noise of the express came in, the train coming to a stop next to the station as the conductor came out from one of the cars.

"Sorry for the delay, a tree fell down on the rails and needed to be cleared." The conductor announced as Terramar thought it was fate it would happen. "All abroad, next stop Griffonstone." The conductor said next as Gabby needed to leave now.

"Well, it was nice meeting you Terramar." Gabby smiled.

"You too, I hope we get to see each other sooner rather than later." Terramar returned.

"Me too, but before I go…" Gabby began as she came froward, giving the hippogriff a quick kiss on his cheek. "A little something until next time." Gabby finished as Terramar not only had his face going all red again, but his heart beat twice as fast now as he couldn't say anything back.

So with that, Gabby boarded the train, taking up a window seat and waved goodbye at Terramar. It took a few seconds for Terramar to get back to reality as he shook his head clear, the train beginning to move as the locomotive blew its whistle, slowly starting up the engine again. Terramar waved back and trotted the station platform to continue waving Gabby, he in fact was off the station platform by the time the train was moving too fast for him to keep up and was soon out of view.

Terramar went back to his sister, to wait for his own ride to take him back to Mt. Aris and as the young hippogriff came back, he saw his sister giving him a smug look on her face.

"So, that went better than I thought it would." Silverstream noted. "Seems she likes you just as much."

"Yeah… She does…" Terramar said slowly.

"So…" Silverstream began as she kept her current expression. "When can I expect nephews and nieces?"

"Sis!" Terramar said loudly.

"I'm kidding." Silverstream laughed. "But I am proud of you little brother and I hope you're happy with Gabby forever."

"Thanks and also for giving me the push I needed to say it." Terramar replied as he returned to his seat besides his sister.

"That's what big sisters are for." Silverstream putting a wing on her brother's back.

And so as Terramar sat down and waited for the next train to arrive for Mt. Aris, he looked froward to a bright future, one he hoped to share with Gabby.

And that's a wrap on this!

Now I wish this ship was completely canon… Oh well… I can still dream!

Either way, with that…

See everycreature later!
