Chapter 1

The paragons where huddled together back to back. They where being surrounded on all sides by a swarm of wraiths. When they took down one another two popped back up in its place. The number of enemies was ended less and they were all beginning to tire. Not once did they falter as they keep moving, keep fighting, because they knew that even a moment of hesitation from them and all would be lost. It was only their sheer determination to get back what they'd lost keep them going. They couldn't afford to fail.

"Anyone got eyes on Oliver?" Sara questioned, "or the anti-monitor?"

"No..." Barry breathed, speeding up as he ducked down out of the reach of yet another wraith. Allowing for Kara to disintegrate it with her heat vision.

"I can try flying up..." Kara suggested.

"I doubt you'd get far" Kate admitted, chancing a look back at her friend.

"Agreed..." Barry said, slowing down next to them.

"Anyone else got a better plan..." Kara questioned, the others.

All of them complexity unaware that just a couple feet away that Oliver had forced the Anti-Moniter into a temporary stalemate.

"You have failed...This Universe" Oliver said, firmly holding on to the Anti-Moniter. His sole focus on the being in front of him. Oliver knew that they were running out of time. As a spectator he knew everything that has happened and everything that should happen. He also knew that this was their last shot. If they failed here than that was it, and everything that could be and was still meant to be would be no more. An the future he'd only been able to catch a glimpse of was something he couldn't afford to fail. The world was counting on him. His friend and family were counting on him to win. Just one more time, and he would. Even if it meant dying again.

Oliver screamed as he through his head back as he released a power of pure energy into the sky. Causing the wraiths to begin to disappear one by one.

"Where's Oliver" Barry questioned, looking around the clearing.

"There" Kate called, spotting the beam shooting up into the sky. It was the only other source of chaos and power around.

"What is that" John questioned, turning his attention away from what looked to be a blast of energy. From with in some kind of storm. Mostly likely made up of anit-matter.

"Your guess is as good as mine" Kate shrugged, frozen in place. Not sure what to do next. This was all well above her pay grade.

"I'll light the spark" Barry whispered, his attention captivated by what was going on in front of him.

"While you fan the blame" Sara began, sharing a look with Barry.

"A singular, laser-like focus" Kara stated, coming to stand next to the others.

"On what exactly" Ryan asked.

"Humanity, Truth, Love, Courage, Destiny, Honor, and...Hope" Kara stated, turning to each paragon as she named them. Each falling into a straight line as they starred up at the disturbance.

"No!" The Anti-Moniter screamed, as he felt they combined strength of the paragons wills and desires. Oliver couldn't help, but scream as the energy around him began to build up around him. Moments away from exploding.

"Oh, my god" Kara breathed, as she felt the after shock from the explosion.

"Oliver" Barry whispers, moving quickly to his friends side, with Sara on the other.

Sara couldn't keep the tears from falling as she took in her friends appearance. No, matter how much she didn't want to believe it. Especially, after they'd just gotten him back. She knew he wasn't going to make it. For once she'd allowed herself to hope. To hope that everything would turn out right in the end. That this time Destiny would be on their side, on Oliver's side.

"I..I need...both of you" Oliver began, forcing himself to speak no matter who hard it was. "To watch over my family. For me..."

"No, no Oliver" Barry began, shacking his head. "Your going to be just fine."

Barry could believe this was how it was going to end. He was prepared for this. He'd been prepared for a lot of things when it came to Crisis. Including, dying himself. What he wasn't prepared for was losing his friend. Especially, now that they'd won. He couldn't help, but feel guilty. That he got to live and Oliver had to die.

"You did it... You all did it, and its almost time." Oliver said, turning his focus upward and to the sky.

"There. You did it" Oliver smiled, as he watched a New Earth blossom into existence. A whole new world that he'd help create.

"No, Ollie..." Sara corrected, "You did."

"You have to hang on, okay. You need to comeback with us" Sara begged, not ready to let go.

"This is exactly what the monitor said would happen" Oliver, told them.

"What?" Barry questioned.

"There was an end...and a Beginning" Oliver explained, before turning his attention to Barry.

"Remember what I told you" Oliver questioned, coughing. It was getting harder to breathe.

"Yeah, dying the easy part" Barry responded, after a moment.

"I am at peace" Oliver told them. Not noticing the portal opening up behind him.

"The real heroes are the ones that keep going" Barry finished.

"So keep..going... and don't ever stop" Oliver told them, "Is new and beautiful world needsbothof you."

"I'd say it needs all three of you, Mister Queen" The Moniter announced, as he reached down and healed the vigilante. Slowly, standing back up the moniter turn back to the others on the ground. His head tilted as his eyes locked with Mister Luther.

"Nice try" The Moniter stated, before snapping fingers. Sending Oliver and the paragon off back to the vanishing point one bye one. He waved his hand calling the tore out page from the book of Destiny back to him, before turning around and portaling himself away.
