The morning sun rose up on Karakura town. Ichigo Kurosaki was in his apartment bedroom, sleeping peacefully. He heard the sound of his alarm clock and turned it off. He then got out of bed preparing for his day. After getting ready, he remembered that today was the day he was going to propose to his girlfriend Orihime Inoue. He felt a little bit nervous about it, he was afraid that she will say no. He pushed those thoughts away. He has used all the money that he saved up to by the ring that he wanted. He was very happy that he had enough money to buy it
"This has to be perfect," Ichigo thought as he left his apartment.
Elsewhere, Orihime was preparing food for the picnic for her and Ichigo. She was looking forward for the date. After making the food, She made herself some tea. But she was not alone, she was greeted by a knock on the door. She opened it and it was her friend Rukia. Both girls gave each other a hug, then Oriihime gave Rukia a cup of tea.
"So Orihime, do you think Ichigo will finally pop the question to you yet?" Rukia said while sipping her tea.
"I'm not sure yet Rukia, he did say he has a surprise for me tonight after our picnic."
"Oh that's nice, I hope you guys have fun," Rukia said.
"I do wonder what it is," Orihime thought to herself.
Meanwhile, at downtown, Ichigo was leaving the ring shop. He was very happy that he purchased the ring he wanted. He stopped in his tracks and noticed Renji who was holding a bouquet of roses.
"Renji, what are you doing here and what's with the roses?"
"Oh hey Ichigo, I bought them for Rukia. Are you going to propose to Orihime tonight?"
"Yeah, but I am a little nervous about it."
"How come?"
"I am afraid that she would say no."
"Ichigo, come on man, don't be nervous about it. You got this, just don't think about it."
"You're Right Renji, I can't let it get to me," Ichigo said.
"There you go. Speaking of which, aren't you supposed to meet Orihime soon?"
Ichigo looked at his watch. He checked the time and it was almost one.
"Yeah, we are having a picnic at the park. When night falls, that's when I will do it."
"Good luck man," Renj said.
"Thanks," Ichigo said as he left.
Later on in the day, Ichigo and Orihime were at the park having a picnic. Both were happy to see each other and enjoying the food. After eating, they both looked at the clouds. Right now the Young couple was having ice cream, Ichigo had chocolate while Orihime had vanilla. They both enjoyed it, but Ichigo was still feeling a little nervous. His girlfriend noticed and was concerned.
"Everything okay honey?" Orihime asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry to worry you," Ichigo said.
"It's okay sweetie," Orihime said while kissing Ichigo on his cheek. This caused him to blush and Orihime smiled.
Later on that night, the young couple was looking at the moonlight while holding hands.
"Okay Ichigo, it's time to do this," he thought.
"Orihime, there's something I want to give you," Ichigo said.
"Ohhh. What is it?" Orihime said.
"Close your eyes for the gift, it's a surprise."
"Oh okay," Orihime said as she closed her eyes.
Ichigo got down on one knee as he took the ring out of the small box and slipped it onto her finger.
"Okay now open them," Ichigo said as he got up.
When Orihime opened her eyes, she was shocked to see the ring and looked back at Ichigo.
"Orihime Inoue, will you marry me" Ichigo said.
"Yes! I will marry you Ichigo," Orihime said with tears starting coming out of her eyes.
Ichigo was happy that she said yes. As the newly-wed couple kissed they both smiled and looked at each other in the eyes.
"Do you think we should tell the others ?"
"Of course, I'll text everyone to meet up at the clinic."
Ichigo started texting everyone telling them to meet up at the clinic about the proposal .
"There, I texted everyone about it. Ready to head over there?" Ichigo said.
"Yes I am."
The young couple drove to the clinic to meet everyone and tell them about the proposal.
Elsewhere at the kurosaki clinic, Isshin, Yuzu, Karin, Uryū, Chad, Renji, Rukia, Tatsuki and keigo were waiting for Ichigo and Orihime. They wonderd what they wanted to tel everyone. Rukia and Renji both knew what was going on. Everyone turned their heads when there was a knock on the door. Isshin opened it and saw his son and his girlfriend.
"Son, Orihime, you both made it!" Isshin said.
"Yeah. Ichigo, what is it you want to tell us?" His little sister Karin said.
"Well since you guys are here, me and Orihime are getting married. I proposed to her and she said yes!"
There was a moment of silence before everyone clapped for joy and congradulated the young couple.
"Congratulations you two, I am so happy! If your mother was here she would be happy as well," Isshin said while tearing up.
"I am happy for you both," Tatsuki said with a smile.
"Way to go Ichigo, congratulations to you and your new wife," Keigo said.
Rukia was very happy for both of her friends she noticed her boyfriend was crying.
"Renji, are you crying?"
"No I just got water in my eyes. It's just so beautiful," Renji said as he started crying again.
Rukia could not help but smile at her boyfriend. she thought it was cute to see him cry. She placed a kiss on his cheek witch caused him to blush softly.
"I am so happy for you and Orihime Ichigo," his little sister Yuzu said.
"When will the wedding be?' Chad asked.
"The wedding will be next year," Orihime said.
Everyone was excited and looking forward for the wedding. Both Ichigo and Orihime looked at each other and smiled and held hands while looking forward to thier special day.
