Sitting around in a circle was lions and lionesses of different colours of Sariel and Desta's pride gathered for important news from their leaders.
In front of the pride was three ledges. On the very highest ledge sat Sariel as the second highest ledge sat Desta and on the lower ledge sat Sabra.
"We are on a break of war." Sariel started.
The pride began to whisper among them selves.
"A dangerous force has threatened our home and innocent lives around us. It's time for the avengers!" Desta looked up to his father who nodded. The brownish lion turned to the gathered pride. "Ricardo, welcome to the team!"
A large dark tan lion with a black mane walked over and stood in front of the pride.
"Kion, welcome to the team!" Sariel yelled out.
A goldish lion with a reddish mane walked over to the front of the pride and stood by the dark tan lion.
"Rani, welcome to the team!" continued Desta.
A brownish lioness walked over to the front of the pride and stood next to the dark tan lion and Kion.
"Kaden, welcome to the team!"
The light gold lion with a gold mane walked over and stood next to Ricardo and Kion.
Sariel glared at the creamy-white lion dating his oldest granddaughter. "Luis, welcome to the team!"
Luis nuzzled Asteria lovingly before smirking at the dark brown lion as he walked over to the other avengers. Sariel groaned as Desta continued.
"Amanda, welcome to the team!"
Sherise sat near her sister with hopeful eyes as the young light gold lioness, who is also her best friend walked over to the front of the pride. Her tail swished back and forth as she waited her name to be called.
Sariel and Desta shared a look with Sabra, who nodded with a smile.
Desta closed his eyes and sighed deeply before opening them and roaring as loud as he could.
"Sherise, welcome to the team!"
A bright smile formed on the dark brown teen's light brown muzzle as her dark purple eyes brightened. Letting loose a excited roar, she pranced over to the rest of the team.
Sariel smiled at his granddaughter before looking at the pride. "There is our team of heroes. The rest of you will work from here with Sabra, Desta and myself."
With a loud roar, everyone got up and left leaving Anissa, the avengers, Sabra, Asteria, Hunter, Sariel and Desta.
Sariel took a deep breath before before informing the team. "Our enemy is a dangerous force. He had killed alot of lives already. He needs to be stopped!"
"Who is it?" Ricardo asked looking at the elder pride leader.
Desta cleared his throat earning the team to turn their attention to him. "He's not from around here. He goes by the name Jesús."
Rani's amber eyes widen. "Kopa's brother?"
Desta nodded at the young brownish lioness. "Yes. We sent Uzair to the Pride Lands to inform them. Kopa and Tiifu should be here in a little while."
Sariel nodded before adding a few words of his own. "We have word that Jesús is nearby. Anissa, you will go with, Rani, Amanda and Sherise. Watch his moves, try to figure him out and report back to us."
The creamy lioness nodded before turning to the three other lionesses. "Follow me."
Rani, Amanda and Sherise followed the older lioness. But before Sherise stepped away she was stopped by her mother.
"Be careful, dear."
Sherise smiled before giving her mother a nuzzle. "I'll be fine."
After giving her brother, father and grandfather nuzzles. The dark brown teen ran off to catch up with her party.
