「Sir, do you have time now? I want to tallk about something.」Garcia敲了敲Hotch office的門，Hotch抬起正在整理文件的頭。「Of course. Have a sit.」
Garcia有些緊張地坐下後，「Sir, I want to talk about the work you asked me two weeks ago.」
Hotch有些意外地看著Garcia。
他在兩個禮拜前確實詢問過Garcia是否願意暫時到Las Vegas的CSI Lab幫忙他們有關電腦調查和建立相關的調查系統，雖然他也不願意the team最好的技術人員離開BAU那麼久，就算只是暫時的10個月，但是基於上層的強烈建議他詢問Garcia的意見和他尊重Garcia對於自己的職業規劃，他還是詢問了，當時Garcia有些緊張地回答是否是她的工作有任何問題所以要被調職，Hotch馬上安撫並肯定她的工作能力和the team需要她的幫忙，Garcia才放心地否決這個暫時調職。
但是現在Garcia卻主動前來找他談論這個調職。
「Yes, do you want it?」Hotch有些不確認地詢問。
「Yes, Sir. If my premier reply is still changeable.」Garcia看起來有點傷心地回答。
「Garcia, does anything go wrong? Or did anyone in the office do something to you?」Hotch擔心地看著Garcia，他從未見過Garcia這麼難過，就算在他們調查令人難過的案子時，Garcia還是可以用自己的方法調整她的心情並帶給the team溫暖。
「Oh, there's nothing and no one did anything.」Garcia趕緊說道，「It's ... I don't know, Sir. I just think that I need to leave here for a while and have some time to think about something.」Garcia有點哽咽且抱歉地回答，她眼眶的淚水快要潰堤。
「Ok, Garcia, it's ok.」Hotch趕緊安慰她，「Maybe you can talk to JJ or Prentiss or Morgan. And about the work, if you really want to take a break for a while, I will let the lab in Las Vegas know.」
「Yes, I do want this work and I'm sorry for 離開你們和你們可能所需要的幫助。And please don't tell anyone until I leave here.」Garcia懇求地看著Hotch，Hotch知道Garcia可能和the team的某個人發生了某件事情，應該是Morgan，他們應該好好談談，但是當Hotch看著Garcia臉上的表情和眼神後，他知道事情可能比想像中的不對。
好吧，如果Garcia需要一點時間，那他會尊重Garcia的任何決定。
「Ok, I will tell them after you leave, but Garcia.」Garcia看著她的上司，同時也是她的朋友和家人。
Hotch認真地說道，「If you need any help or anyone to talk, we are all here for you. And don't worry anout us, though you are the best tech I've ever known, we can find someone to help us until you come back.」
Garcia聽到這些話時哭了出來，Hotch有些生硬地拍了拍她，「I don't know what happened between you and Morgan, but I believe you two will deal with it.」
Garcia驚訝地看著Hotch，Hotch對她微笑。
「Maybe I am another profiler you hate.」Apparently, Hotch heard the talk in the morning.
「Oh Sir, I love the profilers, especially all of you.」Garcia輕輕抱了抱Hotch，Hotch難得地笑了。
「I'll let you know when the work start tomorrow. I think it will start very sooner. Are you sure you don't want to say goodbye to everyone?」Hotch在Garcia準備離開他的office時輕聲問道。
「Yeah, Sir, please tell them that I'm sorry for not saying goodbye and I will come back after the work in Las Vegas is done.」Garcia有些掙扎地考慮後回答，她不想讓她的朋友們擔心，但是如果提前讓他們知道自己要暫時離開，他們或許會阻擋或是詢問發生了什麼事情，而Garcia不想讓Morgan查覺到她的離開是因為他在考慮結婚。
Garcia需要時間思考這些感覺，需要沒有Morgan在身邊的時間。
