There were too many voices in my headset. It was making me mad.

"Idiots!" I snapped as we were all still gathered in the same room, "Turn them off."

But of course, his Guardians were bustling about ignoring me. Afraid I would explode before the mission even began, Sawada cleared his throat and shouted, "QUIET!"

His Guardians fell into silence, staring at the outburst that was super unexpected from the normally meek teen.

"Let's be a little more serious guys. This could cost us our lives, you know!" He managed without stammering, "Starting now, Kira-san will relay the overall plan to us and our allies over the intercom. Just so you know, if we fail today, my mom and Yamamoto's dad are one hundred percent dead. Stop it with your dying wills!"

"Well, look at that. He can do it after all." I murmured when his Guardians fell into line with serious expression as I stepped up to the plate, "Uhhh…. You see, I should confess something very important to you all. I have not once operated as the leader for an operation on this kind of scale."

The Guardians blinked at me curiously as if I had lied to them.

"Err so I'm saying, if you want to back out, go ahead." I waited, nervous when no one spoke or moved. I couldn't help but feel anxious with all their big, wide, innocent eyes staring at me, "Or I guess you can't back out but you can definitely choose a different leader?"

"Why?" Yamamoto spoke up, grinning at me as if there was no problem in my words, "I think it's alright if you do it. Who else is smart enough anyways?"

"Idiot. It's not about smarts." Gokudera huffed, already rubbing his aching head, "It's about who knows everyone well enough to call the shots here and Cannibal's the only one who can get the Varia to cooperate with us."

The Rain Guardian just stared at us like it didn't make a difference. He looked too dumb to even know the meaning of those words so I shook my head and went on with it.

"Thanks to the agreed contribution of the Cavallone Family, Simon Family, and my boss, we're going into this with more allies than we could ever have hoped for. This is a mission with two motives-to attack and defend." I knew my mike was transmitting to all the leaders on all the different squads for tonight although only Sawada's group and I were gathered at main base, "Tonight, we attack the JAWS Alliance in five groups. Group one consists of those of you here in front of me. Sawada, Gokudera, Yamamoto, Rokudo Mukuro, Lambo, Sasagawa Ryohei, and Chrome. Retrieve Sawada Nana from the caravan at all costs."

"Yes, ma'am!" They chorused, the vigor carrying over the mike to make Dino chuckle into the mike.

Taking his chance, Don Cavallone was making his announcement, "I'm on standby. My family is spread through the city and around your base and my estate. Go wild knowing I've got our home turf protected. By the way, I'm the leader of group two so don't forget the code Tsuna."

"We don't need the code." I huffed at him, making him laugh, "As Don Cavallone kindly announced, he's leading our second group. Our third group is the Varia. Boss, did you turn me off or are you still on the line?"

"You've got ten more seconds." The boss said but I knew he was kidding. He always listens to me when I've got something important to say.

"Our third group is led by Xanxus. Squalo, Lussuria, Mammon, Levi, and Bel will go to the target location and burn it to the ground with all their might." I smiled just at the thought, "The goal is to shed as much blood as possible. Show them our brute strength."

"Leave no survivors." The boss summarized, "I like it."

"The fourth group is Kyoya's team. I have no idea how to contact him and I don't even know where they are or what they're doing right now but I trust him." I was a little skeptical about him but he was always where he needed to be, "Kusakabe is on the line and a little while ago he told me Kyoya began to move. Kusakabe, are you still with us?"

Kyoya's right hand man buzzed in, "Kyo-san crushed a second attempt in Namimori, saving Kurokawa Hana who happens to be a close friend of Sasagawa Kyoko. We've also taken Suzuki Hina into custody and we'll keep her safe."

"A who?" I have no idea who that is but judging by Yamamoto's reaction that's the girl who happens to be waiting for him back home. I laughed quietly, "Alright. Good work. Our fifth group is the Simon Family. Kozato Enma, your group is by far the weakest and smallest but you have an important role to play as well. Don't mess up. Hit them with all your strength."

"Y-Yes ma'am!"

I don't think I've ever met Kozato Enma in person but I can tell he's a similar type to Sawada. Birds of a feather flock together after all. It doesn't matter. Let the herbivores flock as long as they get their jobs done.

"This is a staggered effort. No one moves until Sawada confirms his mother has been retrieved." I reminded them, "As for the confirmation of Yamamoto Tsuyoshi… We never found the body. I'm sorry."

The Rain Guardian had probably already seen this coming. Gokudera must've told him last night. Didn't help ease the pain but he was ready for the words to come. He nodded at me, "Not your fault."

"Team one is moving out." I muttered into the mike, heart broken when Yamamoto began to march with them in silence. I didn't like the miserable look in his eyes nor did the serious look of a mafioso suit him when he was usually such a smiley kid. I didn't want to get his hopes up but I think Tsuyoshi is still alive, "Don't forget to turn your mikes back on."

When their car pulled out, I took off. My wings were spread wide under the moonlight and when I looked up at the dark night sky, I thought of the boss. I always do when I'm flying. It's habitual now.

Flames spread up my chest plates straight up to the helmet covering my head. My vision was so good in the dark, enhanced by the helmet that came with my Cambio Forma. I could see everything from up here. As for the position, I was high enough where no one would see me from down there but I was close enough to see with my enhanced vision. I had placed myself between the point where Sawada's group would capture the delivery truck and the stronghold.

I told myself my duty was to intercept reinforcements but I knew exactly what I was waiting for. I was waiting for an opportunity that I naively hoped would come. The opportunity to save Yamamoto Tsuyoshi.

"Reporting in. Team One has arrived on location." Sawada was good at reporting. It's about all he was good for on a team where many natural hitmen were gathered.

Yamamoto would definitely put his all into saving Sawada Nana. He never asks for anyone to help him in return. That's why I will always give him what he deserves.

"Leave no survivors." I told them, "If you don't kill them, they will kill you."

"Sure."

I know them. They agree verbally but they won't. Sawada is just that kind of herbivore. I waited as the scuffle began. The mike transmitted the sounds of screaming and violence. Everyone else was holding their breaths, waiting for success.

That's when I heard it. The begging that was bound to accompany losing, "We have one more hostage! If you let me live, I'll tell you where he is!"

"Don't listen." I warned but I knew they would listen. It was a trap and I was waiting for it.

The smell of blood was getting stronger and stronger. I saw two figures carrying something that looked like carrion down the road towards them from a vehicle that had departed the stronghold moments ago. I knew they would play their final card.

I chose Sawada as the leader of Team One because the enemy would surely recognize him as Vongola Decimo. They could kill him if they played their cards right and so they brought him-Yamamoto Tsuyoshi.

"Drop your weapons." One of the two ordered, jerking Yamamoto's father into an upright position with a gun pressed to his temple. The sushi chef was unconscious, "If you want him to live, obey."

The minute they drop their weapons, the people around them will kill them. The people I told them to kill would rise up to kill them now that they have the chance. Naive brats. I told them it's kill or be killed but they insisted on showing kindness to their enemies.

I knew this would happen. Sawada was too kind to choose between Yamamoto's father and the lives of his Guardians. He could never decide with Yamamoto making an expression like death was knocking on his skull.

The mike crackled, "I'm sorry, guys. I think we… failed."

"Too early to tell, Sawada." I was already diving for it from a place no one would have expected a person to come. Honestly, I would've been surprised if someone fell out of the sky and broke my jaw too.

My second kick sent him flying into the second guy, knocking them both to the floor. Sawada's Guardians were all in motion, turning to k.o the men who were rising up to kill them.

"Boss." I pressed my mike closer to my lips to whisper, "Did you have faith?"

"What's that?" He feigned ignorance, "I don't have any need for faith when I have the ultimate soldier. I'm moving in, Kira."

Ultimate soldier… I was a blushing mess. With Sawada's group cleaning up, I took flight. My body seemed to naturally take me to where I wanted to go. I gave a repeat performance. Dropping out of the sky to slam my foot down on someone's head hard enough to shatter it, blood splattered every which way as he dropped dead.

The battle was pretty much over. The boss had taken his burning palms and melted the building, setting it ablaze with Belphegor's assistance. The whole thing burned down and Squalo, Lussuria and Levi killed the evacuating mafiosos. Wings spread wide, I reached for the boss at the same time he reached for me and we pressed our mouths together hotly. We're so easily excited by victory and bloodshed.

Squalo made a gagging noise, tearing us apart and telling me I still had work to do. In a daze, I barely managed to remember I was still wearing the headset and maybe a billion people heard me moaning into the boss' mouth but I didn't have the capacity for embarrassment. I just wanted to hurry up and wrap this shit up so I could go home with the boss.

All is well.

O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O

I was horrified. I stared back at the doorway where Yamamoto was standing with Gokudera next to him. Both Vongola Guardians had shocked looks on their faces. Yamamoto dropped the gift bag he was holding in one hand, wide eyes never leaving my body-specifically, my ass. Gokudera was sheet white, looking like he lost his soul already.

Boss groaned, the hand that had previously been at my chest was now over his throbbing temple. He looked like he was having a mental debate. Was it okay to just keep fucking me or did he have to stop now?

"Y-You fucking herbivores! LEARN TO KNOCK!" I grabbed the nearest pen and flung it at them.

Startled, Yamamoto choked out an apology, "I'll wait outside!"

The door slammed behind them as they ran for it, traumatized by what they had seen. Honestly, I've seen the boss doing it with someone and trust me, I empathize with those kids so much. You never want to see people doing it in front of you. It's weird.

I turned, glaring at the boss as if this was somehow his fault. I mean, technically it is his fault cause I didn't want to do it in the office for this reason.

The chair creaked as he reached for me, huffing in frustration, "Let them wait. I need five minutes."

"Use your hand!" I spat, slamming my fist into his jaw. I let him slip away from my core and went to gather my clothes in a hurry, "I told you not to undress me. They saw everything!"

"On you." He snorted grumpily, leaving his pants and underwear lowered for the time being but he was already buttoning his shirt. The shirt he absolutely refused to take off in case someone walked in and saw all his scars.

"Jerk!" I wonder how many times I have to punch them in the head to knock out the memories of this very awkward moment.

I stormed out, leaving the boss to pick up after himself. If he says he needs five more minutes, he needs five more minutes. I shuffled out towards the living room where Squalo was lecturing Yamamoto about playing baseball instead of working on his swordsmanship. I blushed darkly when we made eye contact, trying not to feel awkward and failing miserably.

Laughing nervously, the Rain Guardian called out, "Uhhh… so on a chair, huh?"

"Shut up!" Gokudera sputtered, smashing his head on the table as he came forward in embarrassment, "Don't ask her!"

Still laughing in his carefree way, he shrugged, "I mean, I always kind of thought Kira-senpai was a top kind of lady. Lucky guy."

"Pervert!" The Storm Guardian hit the poor baseball nut hard enough to send him flying over the side of the couch, "Don't be lame!"

"I can't help it! It's not at all like I expected! He was actually kind of gentle, you know? Letting her be on top and-" He was gawking.

I froze. It's not that I didn't feel him coming. It's just that I didn't know what kind of reaction to expect. Whatever I thought he was going to do, I was wrong. He blew my mind by reaching an arm around my waist, pulling me up to press our lips together. It was not a chaste kind of kiss.

It was more like a 'she's mine and what I do with her in my free time is up to me so I'm more than happy to give you a free show but if you don't like it get lost, scum' kind of public display of affection.

Breathless and red in the face, I gawked at him as he continued on his way as if he hadn't just pulled a perv move in the hallway. Barely able to regain my train of thought, I shouted at him indignantly, "Shitty boss!"

He waved at me over his shoulder, not bothering to stop walking away or offer an explanation.

Squalo was sitting dead in his seat, arms over the back of the couch like a limp noodle, "I'm so sick of you two. Get a room."

"Ahahah!" Yamamoto dropped another bomb, "They were in the office before we disturbed."

"Again?" Our poor strategy captain had every right to be upset. Our boss does minimal work to begin with but when I'm around, it's twice as bad.

"Just get a girl and do it with her." Yamamoto was most certainly a player, laughing when Squalo roared at him in embarrassment, "Anyways! I came to thank Kira-senpai!"

"Me?" I curiously approached them when Yamamoto offered me the gift bag he had dropped earlier, "Why?"

The Rain Guardian turned to his friend, grinning, "Ummm forgot!"

"You idiot!" Gokudera snapped at him like an angered cat and then huffed, snatching the bag from him to offer it to me, "From all of us, Tenth insisted on it. He said, 'We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you.'"

I was touched. Or I might've been if I hadn't looked at the gift. I stared into the bag, suddenly disgusted by the contents. My eyebrow was twitching vigorously in irritation.

"I don't have these kinds of hobbies." I up-turned the bag, emptying the lingerie onto the table.

Squalo gagged just at the thought of me in those lacy straps.

"Oh…" Yamamoto blinked at them as if there was some sort of misunderstanding and then he realized what had happened, "Uh-oh… I… Oh no! I bumped into this lady after buying Kira-senpai's present. I think the bags got switched!"

"Like hell!" I chased the two extremely embarrassed and apologetic Guardians out of HQ, fuming. I gathered the junk from the table and tossed the bag somewhere in my room. It was a present so I won't throw it away but I have no use for it. How awkward.

Not even an hour later, Sawada brought dumb and dumber to apologize, heavily scolding them for the mishap and begging for forgiveness, "Kira-san! I swear it was an accident. We even brought you the present we really meant to give you."

Grumbling, I sighed and accepted the correct gift, "It's fine. I'm not actually angry."

"Really?" Yamamoto was immediately cheering, wrapping me up in his lean ass arms, "I thought I really made Kira-senpai mad this time. What would I do without my adorable mafia game senpai?"

I slammed the gift bag into the side of his face, shaking my head at his faux-sobbing, "And there's no need to thank me anymore. I'm Vongola Family too. You're not my sky but as long as we're allies, my strength is yours to use as well."

Burying his round face in his hands, Sawada was a blushing mess for a reason no one could explain to me. Sporting matching blushes, Gokudera and Yamamoto shook their heads vigorously and I realized they had told Sawada about the compromising position they had caught me in.

"You fucking herbivores!" I chased them into their car and watched them drive away before heaving a sigh.

I turned, glaring up at the boss who was watching me through the office window. He smirked, inviting me up and I simply flipped him off and stormed into my room. By the way, Sawada's actual gift was fake slacks. They were leggings designed to look like fancy pants so I could wear them in place of my uniform pants. I laughed to myself. I liked it almost as much as the yoga pants. A little confession. After realizing how comfortable they were, I ended up buying a whole bunch and I never wore actual slacks again.
