It was a long trip down to Newtown Hospital after Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah were rescued from the Avalanche on Pontypandy Mountain. Sam was worried that his Niece would be coming down with Hypothermia. Not long after, the crew arrived outside Newtown Hospital. Security was waiting to do their job when they realized the crew had an emergency and opened the gate immediately. The crew later pulled up outside the Ambulance Entrance where Jordan was waiting with three other nurses. "Hello, Jordan." said Sam as he got off Mercury and removed his helmet. "Hi, Sam." Said Jordan. She was surprised to see an Emergency rescue. "I have the rest of the crew with me, and the Police." Said Sam as Elvis waited for the Nurses to bring beds for Ellie and Sarah. "Ok, what happened?" Asked Jordan. Sam had told her everything. "I was at the Station when we heard there was a severe snowstorm in the Pontypandy Area. Not long until I was called to an emergency in the mountains. I had to do a Search and Rescue to find 3 people in an avalanche." He said. "Oh, that's not good." She replied. "No, I don't think so." He said knowing he agrees with her. "Ok, I would come inside and bring them with you because it is cold out here." She said walking over to the 3 Nurses. "Good idea, Jordan." He said. Then he turned towards Jupiter. "Elvis, I want you to make sure Ellie and Sarah are on each hospital bed that are on your side." He said looking at Elvis through the Wind shield. "Roger that, Sam." He replied. "Rose, Malcolm, I want you to make sure Hannah is in her wheelchair and bring her to the building." He said facing the 4x4. "Roger that, Sam." They said. "Penny, Arnold, you will need to help them move Ellie and Sarah carefully from Jupiter." Said Sam as they arrived with 2 Hospital beds for Ellie and Sarah. "Roger that, Sam." They said as they went to help Elvis. Jordan had reminded the three nurses what happened out in Pontypandy, and they were surprised by the news that Jordan told them. So, they went to get hospital beds for Ellie and Sarah and have one for Hannah in the building. Amy was finishing up with some paperwork when she was called by Jordan to help with Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah. "What happened?" She said running over to Jordan. "I was told that Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah were caught in an Avalanche blocked in a Cave in the Mountains. Sam had to rescue them, and now they are brought here injured and freezing." She said as she passed her Sarah. "Ok, do you want me to get some warm blankets?" She said on her way up. "Yes, and can you take them all to X-Ray while on your way there?" Asked Jordan. "Sure. Can you tell me their names again in case I forget?" Said Nurse Amy. "Yes, it's Ellie Phillips, Sarah Jones, and Hannah Sparkes." Called Jordan. "Got it, Thanks." Said Nurse Amy as she went with the 3 Nurses, Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah. "No problem." She said. Soon, they arrived at X-Ray. The cameras were up on the ceiling and a table was used to take an X-ray of Hannah's broken hand. "Alright. Who's going first?" asked Nurse Amy. Sarah volunteered to go first. "I'll go first." replied a tired Sarah. "Ok, I was thinking that since you came in with a leg injury, I thought the same thing." Added Nurse Amy. Sarah was then moved to where the camera was. Nurse Amy then walked to the controls to take the picture. "Ok, Sarah. Just hold still for me, Please." Called Nurse Amy from Behind. Sarah was then done with the X-Ray and Ellie was next, followed by Hannah.

Back at the Mountain Rescue Center, the rest of the children were with the Wild Men of Pontypandy when Station Officer Steele called Tom on his radio. Tom was with them until the storm had cleared, Moose was helping too. "Pontypandy Fire Station to Mountain Rescue. Come in." He called on the radio in the control room. Tom ran to answer the Radio. "Go ahead, sir." He replied over the radio. "I just want to let you know that Fireman Sam and his team have found the other three, and are now in Newtown." He said worried about his firefighter. "Ok, sir. Understood. I'll stay with the others until the storm has passed. Over and out." Tom said knowing the storm was not over. "Was that Station Officer Steele?" Said Moose looking at Tom. Then Tom looked outside, and then back at Moose. "Yeah, Mate. He just told us that they're in Newtown." He answered. "I hope they make it back safe." He said knowing Ellie was one of their friends. "Me too, Moose. Me too." Said Tom as he placed a hand on his shoulder.

Back in Pontypandy, Bronwyn was upstairs when she noticed James sitting on his bed, he looked worried that Sarah was hurt in the Storm. So, Bronwyn went to see what was wrong, she knew that James doesn't do well with cold weather in the Mountains, especially if it's a storm that bad. "James, what's wrong?" She asked while sitting on his bed. James looked at his mother, then looked at the floor. "I'm worried that Sarah was caught in the Storm injured and freezing." He said sadly. "Don't worry, James. If anyone can find them, Fireman Sam will find them." She said knowing Charlie's brother was a firefighter. James was still worried about his sister. So, Bronwyn decided to stay with him until Sam brings Sarah home because Charlie was with Trevor delivering supplies all over Pontypandy. "Why don't I make you a nice warm drink to keep you warm James. You'll be warm in no time." Said Bronwyn. James agreed, then they both went to the Kitchen and Bronwyn put the kettle on for James when she heard Charlie come back. "Hello, James." Called Charlie. "Hello, Bronwyn." He said as he looked at her. "Hello, Charlie." Said Bronwyn. "Hi, Dad." Replied James. Charlie heard what Sam had told him. He just dropped off some supplies when Trevor pulled in to pick him up. "Alright, I have some supplies to keep us up with the Storm." Bronwyn saw the boxes. She was relieved. "Oh, thanks, Charlie." She said. "Right, Trevor's waiting for me. I have to go now. Bye you two." Charlie said as he left for Trevor's bus. "Bye, dad." Called James. Soon, Trevor's bus had left for more supplies.

Back in Newtown, Nurse Amy was bringing Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah from X-Ray with warm blankets when Jordan walked in to the room where they were in, she knew they were coming down with Hypothermia. "Ok, I talked to Fireman Sam, and he tells me you were in the Mountains, correct?" She asked trying to see what happened. "Yes, we were. I was at the Mountain Rescue Center when I got a call from the Fire Station about the Storm." She said explaining the whole story to Jordan. "Oh, and then you tried moving them to the Mountain Rescue 4x4, but it was too late because the Avalanche was rolling downhill fast, right?" She added. "Yes. We took shelter in a cave away from the falling Avalanche. Once we were in, Sarah had landed on her leg and Hannah might've hit her hand when she was catching a wall." Ellie added. Jordan looked at the papers, then at Ellie. "Ok, now I see how it is now. I can now know that since you were waiting to be rescued in a cave, you have come down with Hypothermia." She said. Sarah didn't know what that was. "What's that?" She asked Hannah. "It means we've been out in the cold weather for too long." She said. Ellie was most impressed. "Correct, Hannah." She said agreeing with her. "Well, I think it would be safe if you all kept warm here. I will go and find some warm food and drinks for you." Jordan told them and she went off to get some drinks. "Ok, Jordan." Ellie said as Jordan left closing the door behind her. Sarah was comfortable in the hospital bed she was on, but she looked worried. Ellie looked over to see if she was alright. She knew that Sarah had been in an avalanche before, but one never that bad. Hannah has never been in an Avalanche but knows what to do if they're caught in one.

Back in Pontypandy, Station Officer Steele was with Chief Fire Officer Boyce who came to see if Steele needed help. "Everything alright, Steele." He asked the station officer. "Yes, sir. But Fireman Sam went out with PC Williams and Sergeant Ravani with the other Firefighters to the Mountain because two children were caught in an Avalanche with Firefighter Phillips." He said knowing the emergency and who was to be rescued. "Well, I don't know that the storm could've been this bad." Added Boyce. "Me neither." Said Station Officer Steele. "Why don't we enjoy a nice cup of tea, Norris." Said Boyce. "Good Idea, I'll stick the kettle on." He said

Sam was driving back to Pontypandy with the other firefighters when they heard that Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah did have Hypothermia. "Sam, I wonder what Station Officer Steele would say if Helen or Tom did not join the search and rescue?" Asked Elvis over the radio from Jupiter. Sam reached for the Radio for Mercury. "Who knows, Elvis. Tom had to keep the other children at the Mountain Rescue Center until the Storm has passed. Also, Helen is in England right now." He told his friend on the radio. He was sure that Tom was with the others. Meanwhile in Newtown, Ellie was keeping warm when Sarah was worried about her brother. Hannah was having her left hand which was broken put in a Cast, Ellie had sprained her ankle when she was taking shelter in the cave, and Sarah's leg was broken. After Hannah had the cast placed on her broken hand, Jordan walked in with Nurse Amy, and some warm drinks for them. "Ok, I got some warm food and drinks for everyone, and Nurse Amy will soon have your leg fixed up, Sarah." Jordan said as she set the drinks down on the table. "Ok." Said Sarah. Jordan then turned to Ellie. "Ellie, I will have that ankle wrapped up for you soon, I just need some tape." She added. "Ok, Jordan." She said. Then Jordan went to find some Tape for Ellie's Ankle while Nurse Amy was putting Sarah's broken Leg in a cast. "Alright, let's get that cast on." said Nurse Amy. She was trained on how to put a cast on by the NHS and at the academy. "Will this hurt at all?" Asked a worried Sarah. "No, it'll be easy to put on. I'll be gentle" replied Nurse Amy. Sarah was releived that she heard that Nurse Amy would be gentle.

Back in Pontypandy, Sam and the rest of the crew arrived back at the Fire Station. Station Officer Steele walked out to the garage where everyone else was with Chief Fire Officer Boyce. He was impressed with the way they rescued Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah. Elvis parked Jupiter and Penny parked Venus while Sam parked Mercury. "Well done, everyone." He said to the firefighters. "Thank you, sir." Said Sam as he removed the Helmet for Mercury. "I know you were just doing your job, Fireman Sam." Said the Chief Fire Officer looking at the hero next door. "Really?" Sam asked. "Yes. In fact, I heard you had sent Firefighter Cridlington to their exact location." Boyce added. Sam looked at Jupiter, then at his chief fire officer. "I know, sir. But we had no time to lose, Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah were coming down with Hypothermia and other injuries." He said. "Well, I don't know how to say this, but well done. You too, Sam." Said the Station Officer. "Thank you, sir." Added Sam.

Back in Newtown, Ellie was having her Ankle taped by Jordan, and Sarah was having her leg put in a Cast by Nurse Amy. Hannah was enjoying some tea that Jordan made for them. "I would have to keep it relaxed if I were you, Ellie." said Jordan. Ellie knew that Jordan was right. "I think Sarah might be worried. Is it ok if I walk over carefully to her?" Asked Ellie. "Sure, as long as you said you do it carefully." Added Jordan. Once the tape was on, Ellie was comfortable on her bed when Sarah was so worried. So, she went over very carefully to see what was wrong. "Sarah, What's the Matter?" Asked Ellie. She knew that Sarah was missing something. "Oh, I don't think I like to miss my brother. I want to go home." She said sadly. Ellie looked out the window, then at Sarah who missed James already. She wouldn't want Sarah to be lonely. So, she did what she was trained to do and kept her calm. "There you go, Hannah." Said Nurse Amy as she placed her in the wheelchair. Hannah was helped into her wheelchair by Nurse Amy when she heard them talking. "Oh, I know you do, but we need to keep warm and get better; otherwise we are going to freeze again. We don't want that now, do we?" Said Ellie as she placed her hand on Sarah's hand. "No, Ellie. I guess you're right." Added Sarah. Ellie knew that Sarah was missing her mother, then she had an Idea. "I'll tell you what, I can reach for my phone and we can video call James. How does that sound?" She asked aa she moves to her bag to find her phone. "Ok, Ellie. I can do that." Said Sarah. Ellie then looked at Hannah. "Hannah, do you want to Join in, I know you're still in your wheelchair." asked Ellie while moving towards her bag carefully. "Yes, please. I told my mum and dad what had happened. They were worried about the storm. I did tell them about the avalanche." Hannah said as she moved hereself to Ellie and Sarah. "Ok, I'll just get my phone."Ellie said. Ellie went to her bag very carefully and called Bronwyn to see if James was around.

Back at the Café, Bronwyn was making James some Hot Cocoa when her phone rang. She then realized Ellie was calling and answered it. On her phone screen, she can see Ellie, Hannah, and Sarah. "Hello, Ellie." She said as they waved at her. "Hi, Bronwyn. Is James around?" She asked. Bronwyn looked around, then saw him at the table from behind the counter. "He is, did Sarah want to talk to him?" She asked as she knew that they were in Newtown. "Yeah, she missed him already." Ellie said as Bronwyn moved over to James. "Ok, I'm so happy that she's alright." She said knowing that she was safe with Ellie. "We are, Bronwyn. I stayed with them in a cave when we were caught in an Avalanche." Ellie said wrapping her arm around Sarah. "I know, Tom phoned me about that. Anyway, here's James." Bronwyn said as she sat down beside James. James was with Bronwyn at the Table on the call with Sarah. He was so happy to see her again. "Sarah." He cried. "Hi, James." She said. She really missed him after he went to the Café when they were throwing Snowballs. "I miss you." James added. "Me too, James." She said. "Where are you?" Asked James. Then Ellie came in to the screen. "She's at Newtown Hospital with me, James. We'll probably be home tomorrow." She said. They were not sure if they would leave today or tomorrow. "Well, I had to come home because I was worried about the snow balls and the storm." He said. He looked out the window, then at the phone. "Oh, I see. Well, I miss you, James. I'll see you soon." She said. "Bye, Sarah. Bye, Ellie" said James as he passed Bronwyn her phone back. "I'll see you later, James. Bye." Ellie said as James went to the other side where his mother was. "Thanks for looking after Sarah, Ellie. Said Bronwyn as she "No Problem, Bronwyn." Said Ellie as she went to her bed. "Alright, I'll see you later. Bye." She said as Ellie placed her blanket back on. Then she hung up. Once the call ended, James went to his mum and gave her a nice big hug. Bronwyn accepted it and then sent James to bed because it was dark out.

Back at Newtown Hospital, Jordan walked in with an IV Line for Ellie, Sarah, and Hannah. Ellie was the first to have it attached to her hand, Sarah was next, and then Hannah had hers attached to her other hand which was not broken. "Ok, I just came back with these as you will need to stay here for the night." Said Jordan as she prepared a line for all of them. Sarah was worried. "Ok, I was afraid you'd said that." Said Ellie as she was putting her phone back in her bag. Nurse Amy walked in to help Sarah have her IV line attached. She then moved it over to beside her bed. "I'm going to have to attach this to you because you were freezing cold, and this should help warm you up." Sarah looked at Ellie who was getting hers done, then back at Nurse Amy. "Is it going to hurt?" Asked Sarah. She was worried. Amy placed her hand on Sarah's arm to comfort her. "Yes, but it will be only for a few seconds." She said. Sarah knew that she was right. "Ok, will you be gentle?" Sarah asked. "Don't worry, I'll be gentle." Said Nurse Amy. Soon, she placed the IV Line on Sarah's hand. By the time the lines were attached, Sarah was wrapped up warm in blankets, and Hannah was soon tucked in bed with help from Jordan. After Jordan had finished, she was making sure that Ellie was comfortable while Amy made sure Sarah was comfortable, and Hannah was already asleep. "I'll be back to check on you in the Morning. You all get a good night sleep." Said Jordan quietly. "Ok, Jordan." Ellie added as she was tired. "Will Uncle Sam come by tomorrow?" Sarah asked as she missed Sam. "Yes, Sarah. He texted me saying he is coming here in the Morning." Ellie said after she received a text from Fireman Sam. "Oh, Yes." Sarah said as she knew Hannah was asleep. "Oh, I forgot. He told me that, and I forgot to tell you." She said knowing that he was on their team. "I know." Said Ellie. "Well, I will see you tomorrow. Bright and Early." Said Jordan as she walked out the door with the lights off. After Jordan walked out the room, Ellie had fallen asleep followed by Sarah after Hannah had fell asleep after Jordan had tucked her in bed as she was in a wheelchair.

Back at the Fire Station, Sam was in the Kitchen filing the report for HQ about the Search and Rescue when Penny walked in. She knew that Sam was busy with the report. So, she set his cup of tea beside him, and left. "Penny." He called as he was filing the report. "Yes, Sam." She said as she walked back to where he was. "What would I put for a risk report?" Asked Sam as he knew that Sarah was in the Avalanche earlier in the day. "I would know that Sarah, Hannah, and Ellie were rescued today, but the Storm caused the avalanche. So, I think you should put natural cause." She said to her leading firefighter. Sam looked at her, then at his computer. "Ok, I would put this on the report, and then send it to HQ." He said getting the printer ready. "Ok, Sam." Said Penny as she left to get phoenix ready to investigate the Mountains, and drive to Newtown later. Sam has been working on the report for 30 Minutes and then he finished it to be sent to HQ for review and filing. Sam also had Station Officer Steele tell him that there will be a training Exercise for Arnold and Elvis tomorrow because Ellie will be back from Newtown Hospital tomorrow.
