It was another cold winter morning in Newtown, Ellie was still in the Hospital with Sarah and Hannah. They were all still sleeping in the warm blankets when Ellie started to wake up. After Ellie opened her eyes, she noticed two of her fellow firefighters sitting in the room beside her. It was Sam and Penny; they had come to visit them in Jupiter and Phoenix after they had to rescue them from the cave on Pontypandy Mountain. "Sam, Penny? Is that you?" Asked a tired Ellie as she opened her eyes. "Yes, Ellie. It is." He said as he patted her shoulder. "How are you feeling, Ellie?" Asked Penny. She placed her hand on top of Ellie's hand. Ellie looked at Sam, then at Penny. "A little tired, but I am doing better. I did have a sprained ankle, though." Said Ellie as she carefully moved her hand from the Blanket. "Ok, I can see that." She said as she noticed the tape on her ankle. "How's Sarah doing?" Asked Sam as he walked over to Penny. "She's doing fine, but she missed her brother." Added Ellie as she knew that James was missing his sister. "Oh, Ok. I'll see if I can help." He said as he walked over to his Niece. "Ok, Sam." Called Ellie. Ellie, Sam, and Penny were enjoying some time with each other talking about Hannah when Jordan walked in. "Hello there." Said Jordan. "Morning, Jordan." Said Sam as he walked over to Sarah with Penny. Jordan was here to check on Ellie when Sarah was waking up. She then noticed some people on her left and right side of the bed. "Uncle Sam, is that you?" Said a tired Sarah. Sam moved his hand to her hair and gently brushed it. "Yes, Sarah. I also brought Penny with me." He said as they hugged each other. "I miss James, he must be worried about me." Sarah said sadly "I know, Sarah." Added Sam. Penny had stopped at the Café to pick up her blanket and to tell Bronwyn and James the good news. "Yeah, I managed to stop by and pick up your favorite blanket on the way here. while I was there, I told James that you were safe with Ellie." Said Penny as she wrapped Sarah in her favorite blanket. "Thanks, Penny." Said Sarah happily. "You're welcome." Added Penny. She was smiling. "Well, I hope you feel better soon, Sarah." Said Sam. "Me too, Uncle Sam. Me too." She said looking at her uncle who was a firefighter. Sam and Penny were helping Sarah with her blanket when Jordan managed to help them. "Thanks, Jordan." Said Penny. "You're Welcome." Added Jordan. Penny went to see how Hannah was doing while Jordan checked on Sarah with Sam. "I can tell you that Sarah did have a broken leg and she did have Hypothermia." Said Jordan. Sam knew that she caught it in the Mountains. "I was actually thinking that she had that in the first place." He added. "Really, Sam?" She asked. "Really." He added. "Well, I just need to check her over really quick." Said Jordan. She had known that Sarah had been feeling better since she was warmed up with some hot soup, and some blankets. "Ok, I'll be right over here in the chair." He said. "Good Idea, Sam." Jordan proceeded to check over Sarah while Penny was talking with Hannah. "How are you feeling, Hannah?" Asked Penny. "I feel tired, but I did feel a little better." Said Hannah. Penny was surprised. "Hannah, I think you been checked already before we came here." Said Penny checking the time on her phone. Soon, Jordan finished checking over Sarah. She then looked at the results. "Ok, I have some good news." Said Jordan. Everyone waited. "What's that?" Asked Hannah. Jordan looked at Hannah. "You can all go home today. Just make sure when you get home to keep warm, and try not to make your injuries worse." Jordan said. They were all excited. "I'll be back with some papers to sign for you, Sam." Jordan said to the firefighter. "Ok, Jordan."
Back in Pontypandy, Elvis was making some tea for everyone in the Station. Station Officer Steele walked in when he saw Arnold on his computer checking the emails. "Firefighter McKinley." Shouted Station Officer Steele. Arnold was surprised. "Yes, sir." He said. Station Officer Steele walked over to him. "With Fireman Sam and Firefighter Morris visiting Firefighter Phillips in Newtown, I need you to be with Cridlington in case of any emergencies." He said to his firefighter. "Roger that, sir." Replied Arnold. Station Officer Steele then turned to Elvis. "Cridlington, how's the tea coming on?" He asked. "Tea's almost ready, sir." Added Elvis. "Thank you, Cridlington." He said knowing that the Tea will be ready soon. Elvis was done talking with Station Officer Steele when the Map Screen 700 went off. Station Officer Steele went to check the Emergency on the Map. The map showed the town with the Cut price store on Fire. The Map screen 700 read out to him."There's a fire at the Cut Price store." Station Officer Steele went to activate the Station Alarm and send Elvis and Arnold to the shop. He was not surprised because it happens almost all the time. He had to reach the Microphone before he sent Venus. "There's a fire at the Cut Price store." He called over the microphone. Elvis and Arnold were sent to the Shop to put out the Fire in Venus. Back in Newtown, Penny was still talking to Hannah while Sam was with Sarah, Ellie was resting in her bed and they were happy to hear that their Hypothermia has gone down, and they will be ready to go back to Pontypandy. "I'm very proud of you, Sarah." Said Sam. Sarah was really brave when she stayed with Ellie during the Avalanche. "Really, Uncle Sam?" She asked. Sam looked at her. "Yes, Sarah. I think you can be happy when you get to see James today." He added. Sarah was happy to see James again. "Great, Uncle Sam." She said as she hugged her uncle. Sam accepted it. "Well, are we ready to go, Sam?" Asked Penny. Sam was signing some papers for them to bring to Charlie and Bronwyn. "Yes, Penny. I just need to sign this for Sarah and then I'll be taking Ellie and Sarah in Jupiter. You can take Hannah in Phoenix." He said after he signed the 1st paper. "Ok, Sam." She said. "Just so you know, Jordan said that Sarah will need a wheelchair until the cast can come off." Added Penny. "Got it. Thanks, Penny" said Sam. After Sam signed the Paperwork and the IV lines were taken off of them, they were free to go to the Fire Station and Sarah can go back to see James. Ellie and Sarah will be staying at the Fire Station until she is back on duty. Ellie and Sarah were with Sam in Jupiter while Penny and Hannah were in Phoenix.
Soon, they arrived at the Fire Station. Jupiter and Phoenix were parked in their Usual spots. Sarah was sent home with a cast, and a wheelchair. Lizzie and Joe arrived to pick up Hannah from the Fire Station. "Hi, Sam." Called Lizzie. "Hello, Lizzie" replied Sam. He had brought Hannah from Phoenix with her wheelchair, and Joe loaded her in the car. "Just so you know, Hannah told me she had a broken hand. I think it's not too bad, but try and take care of it." He said. "Oh, I will Sam." Said Joe as he closed the back door of the car. Soon Lizzie, Joe, and Hannah were heading Home. Penny, Ellie, and Sarah made it upstairs followed by Sam to be welcomed back home by the Fire Service, Mountain Rescue, and Police. "Welcome back to Pontypandy, Firefighter Phillips." Said Station Officer Steele as Elvis handed them a slice of cake. "Thank you, sir." Said Ellie as she moved to the couch to put her foot up. "Sarah, why don't you join me with some bean bags?" Said Ellie as she sat down on the Couch. "Ok. Ellie." Added Sarah, as she moved herself over to where Ellie had set up the bean bags. Meanwhile, Station Officer Steele was talking to Sam. "You know, Sam. I think we should find something for Ellie when she is up in the Mountains." He said. Sam looked at Ellie and Sarah, then at Station Officer Steele. "So do I, sir. So do I." And with that, the Fire Service were proud to see Ellie with Sarah after they were in an Avalanche. Station Officer Steele went to the door to his control room, and Sam went to talk to Ellie and Sarah.
