Chapter 1
James POV:
I shift my position. My leg is starting to fall asleep. Tingles shoot up and down my leg. I grunt. Sitting on a bloody tree for hours, spying, is a difficult job. John Evans stole my invisibility cloak. We had been planning something for revenge.
"Getting tired Prongs?" My best mate Sirius asked me.
"We've been here for more than four hours Padfoot!" I snapped.
"This was your idea." Sirius said, smirking.
I glance over at him. He is sitting on a branch below me in the same position. He flips back his hair which reaches his hair. He can surly cut it but he wants to look like some royal. He can pull it of well. I think wryly.
Couldn't Wormtail do this? I sighed.
"United, we spy." Was all Sirius responded with.
Sirius tugs at my muggle jeans and nodded towards the window at the girl we are supposed to be spying at. She had finished cleaning her room. Now she was staring house of the window with a wistful expression on her face.
Lily Marie Evans. Such a beautiful name. She was beautiful too. I had to admit it. With her thick dark red hair that reached up to her shoulders. Almond shaped emerald green eyes with pale skin. She was short. Would have reached up to my shoulder if she stood close enough.
Wait, what the hell am I thinking about? I shook my head to get rid of these unwelcome thoughts.
I wondered why she looked so sad. She was beautiful, had a loving family, and a boyfriend whom she adored. Well, why do I care.
"We should do it tonight." Sirius suggested.
"Alright. Tonights the night." I decided.
Tonight, we kidnap Lily Evans.
