Ugh, Guys here's another Arthur POV.

I hope it turns out alright.

Hopefully this is the last time lol.

But I like to suffer so it probably won't be.

So Enjoy DX

The damn savage was beginning to piss him off. No matter what type of opponent Arthur placed in front of Merlin, he had no problem beating them down to the ground. Then he would give his damn opinion of the state of his Knights and their flaws. Pointing out each flaw he was already aware of and some he hadn't even noticed before. Merlin was quick on his feet and wasn't ashamed to use the Knight's weaknesses against them. He even made sure each hit had a purpose, a certain strength, and power that was so precise and controlled that he couldn't help standing there in awe.

And that's what really pissed him off.

It was the fact that while his Knights were being pummeled to the ground he couldn't help but be impressed with every takedown. He knew, all he needed, to see the Omega's true strength was to see two fights but with each fight, it was utterly enchanting. It was as if the Omega had a different fighting style with each fight and he couldn't help but be fascinated by him.

And it was refreshing to know that the Omega actually cared about the state of each opponent and had the honor to not take the opportunity to beat his opponent when they're down. When they are knocked out, Merlin will take it upon himself to carry the Alpha to the other side of the field so Gaius may examine them. Waiting until Gaius gives him the all-clear on the Alpha's condition before walking away with a nod of his head though Arthur could tell it was only for courtesy because he was never surprised by the results. It was like he was nodding to confirm the damage he had done was indeed accurate to the diagnoses.

And even though Arthur found the commentary quite annoying the fact Merlin would take the time to actually give a very detailed plan on how each member can improve before waiting for the next round. Another moment that showed Merlin's true character is the fact that even though he does take down his opponent he will always wait a moment to see if they'll get up again. Then when they do Merlin will continue to wait until the Alpha is ready to fight again.

The Omega should be considered dangerous knowing how to fight the way he does.

The Omega should be considered dangerous for being able to take down every Alpha he fights.

The Omega should be considered dangerous because he can ignore the Alpha voice.

He should be dangerous.

So why was he filled with lust and pride?

Then all hell broke loose when Sir Rodric decided to take down the Omega Will and then to his surprise see a now wolf Merlin attacking Sir Rodric by sinking his teeth in the Alpha's neck. So harshly that there was blood pooling on the ground beneath him.

Sir Rodric was still struggling to escape while Merlin shook his head furiously and Arthur knew if Merlin continued he could possibly tear his neck out and leave him choking on his own blood.

That's when it happened.

The strongest growl he has ever heard from an Omega resonated through the field causing everyone to whimper and him to shudder. He looked on to his many Knights now many were in their wolf forms ready for the oncoming threat that was now a wolf Omega. Only see them using their paws to rub at their noses and eyes as if trying to get rid of a pesky fly that was hovering around their faces.

Once that growl was released Sir Rodric immediately went limp which concerned him greatly because this could only mean that Sir Rodric was dead. That was when Merlin finally let go when Gaius slowly approached trying to calm Merlin down enough to allow him access to the wounded Alpha. But what Arthur saw was not the eyes of a savage.

Though Merlin was rather large and toward over Gaius and his mouth dripping with blood. His eyes remained as intelligent and observant as ever. Silently allowing Gaius to go pass him as the Omega Will went to try talking to Merlin. Arthur could practically see Merlin rolling his eyes at the Omega before he finally looked his way. Arthur was tense and he immediately became aggressive; however, he made no move forward. With the Savage 'behaving' as it were there was no reason for a fight unless the Omega asked for it. However, he was calm and the two stared each other down. Arthur couldn't help but notice how glossy and shiny his eyes were and even though he had only seen the ocean once in his youth. He couldn't help but compare the blue to that of the roaring sea if he wasn't careful he might just get lost under the waves.

It was in that same moment when the Omega began to walk towards him it was slow and it was calm. Arthur could feel the aggressiveness of all the other Alpha's around him began to increase tenfold as growls and screams filled the air. Though they dare not attack without his say-so especially since Arthur had already given the command earlier not to cause harm to the Omega. So when the Omega began to walk forward he was half expecting to keep the pack from attacking the foolish Omega.

Only for him to do some sort of paw movements with growls which told Arthur everything he needed to know. He could see how close Gaius was to Sir Rodric and he realized that the Savage was worried about the physicians well being. Even though Arthur could tell from where he was that Sir Rodric wouldn't be moving anytime soon and could possibly be needed to be transported back to the physician's hut anyway.

However, It took no time at all before Arthur felt himself beginning to walk over to the transformed Omega with a growl since he was being so demanding and infuriating. He could hear some of the Knights give low questioning growls to which he ignored as he finally got closer to the Omega.

Though Arthur tried to ignore it, Arthur couldn't help but admire the Omega in front of him which surprised him.

Right now there was an Omega in wolf form to which he believed had been impossible and besides the dripping blood around the wolf's mouth, his fur looked luscious and soft. His black fur had a blue hue in the sunlight and his shape was rather large but still a little smaller than most Alpha's. Where there was usually bulk and muscle was thin and sleek, Arthur's only thought was the Omega's body was possibly more for speed rather than strength. Though he wished the wolf wouldn't look so smug as he sat there with what he thought was a 'shit-eating-grin' if wolves were capable of making those kinds of expressions. And as Arthur got near Merlin nodded his head to him what Arthur realized was the only real show of respect that the Omega has ever given him.

Though he had defended Lancelot he didn't do it because he respected Arthur he only did it for Lancelot's benefit.

When Merlin finally turned back to human form which surprised him to be given even more proof of the impossible, even the Omega Will was surprised as his eyes were wide and mouth slacked open. Merlin didn't even bother to look at both of them as he decided to sit at the fence possibly to stay out of the limelight while Arthur went to check out the situation with Gaius.

Arthur shifted back as he walked up to Gaius, "how is he doing Gaius?"

Gaius was on his knees as he was looking at the wound around Sir Rodric's neck, "well sire the wound is mostly superficial though there are some areas that need to be sown up. But these wounds are nowhere around any major arteries so I'm not concerned he will bleed out. Though he will need to be taken to my hut in order to care for his wounds properly." Arthur nodded as he looked over his shoulder to see the Omega Will yell at Merlin before walking away and his face immediately fell into quiet distress. He noticed the Omega suddenly looked 10 years older with his face looking sad and exhausted but only if you paid enough attention to him can you possibly notice how he was being affected by this.

He could feel his inner Alpha growl in annoyance and he had to fight himself from leaving the physicians and running over to the Omega, for what he didn't know and he didn't like it. Arthur nodded, "now tell me this Gaius, first we find an unknown Omega in the woods and now he's turning into a wolf. How is that possible?" Gaius paused and just as he was beginning to stand Leon, Gwaine, and Percival made their way to them in their human forms.

"I'm not the only one who saw that right?" Gwaine spoke his eyes wide in shock, "I mean... we all saw what just happened?"

Arthur pinched the space between his eyes, "yes Gwaine, we all saw it."

"Prime, is something like this really possible? How can an Omega transform into a wolf when it is the right of the Alpha's and the power of few Beta's," Leon stated, Arthur could see in the corner of his eye that Percival silently nodded. Showing he silently agreed with his first Knight.

It has always been known that the Alpha's were in their right to transform into a wolf as they are the strongest of their kind. Though it doesn't happen often a Beta could potentially transform into a wolf if they are strong enough and those small few are far in between. Currently, only two known Beta's can transform into a wolf within the pack. The pack elder and his uncle Agravaine and a young man barely a teenager called Bedivere. When the boy is older he will be given the same trial as any other Alpha.

"If you give Gaius time to explain then I'm sure he'll happily tell us now will he?" Arthur glared, causing the three Alpha's to bow in submission.

"We're sorry Prime," they all said in unison he nodded to them before turning his attention to Gaius.

"Now before we get to that, Gaius where is Morgana and the Omega servant?" Arthur asked.

"Well my lord some of your older Knights had taken upon themselves to escort them to their dwelling once it was safe enough to do so," Gaius said before sighing. "However, my lord I don't know how to make of this, right now even though Sir Rodric is injured he does not move. I have seen others with harsher wounds around the neck and they are able to move. But in this case, he doesn't, I can see that he is awake and his eyes are observing everything around him; however, he won't respond when asked a question. Not a whine, growl, or a whimper. It's as if he's frozen in winter."

Arthur stared down at Sir Rodric and saw that Gaius had been right, his eyes were still open. He can see his eyes moving, taking in everything around him. Now that he had seen his wound up close there was no reason why Sir Rodric can't get up on his own, "I see and you believe the Omega is responsible for this?"

Gaius nodded, "you saw how everyone reacted sire, the way he growled affected everyone in the field. It was as if he used his own Omega command. Which we both know is useless for anyone but children as the command are meant for caring and protecting their young. But to command a fully grown man, an Alpha no less is something I have never seen before other than that of the legends!"

"Legends?" Leon asked, with a slight frown on his face.

"There are legends about this kind of thing?" Gwaine inquired.

"Legend has it-" Gaius spoke but was suddenly cut off by the ever loud Omega Will.

"He's fine Gaius! He heard everything we were saying! The idiot even had the gall to make fun of me for worrying! In fact, the moment he transformed back he was as cheeky as ever! The bastard!" Will ranted catching all of their attention and their annoyance before Arthur finally growled for him to shut up. And almost had Percival take the boy away when Gaius stopped him.

"Wait, sire if I may speak to him for a moment?"

Arthur sighed before pinching in between his eyes again, "do as you must Gaius. But no more stalling and can someone please move Sir Rodric to the healer's hut please!" He yelled already frustrated with the situation as he noticed to Alpha guards beginning to make their way towards him once he had given the command.

"Will tell me this," Gaius turned to Will with a serious expression, "did Merlin behave any different before turning back. Did he act abnormally? Was there ever a moment where he lost control when you were dealing with him?"

Will simply shook his head, "at all Gaius. As I was dealing with him, he just walked right passed me after transforming back and sat in front of the fence. The way he behaved makes me realize something, Gaius?"

"And what would that be?" Arthur demanded, all the Knights were watching the Omega with furrowed brows as Will spoke low so no one outside of the circle could hear him.

"I have a theory that this may not be his first time turning into a wolf, Gaius," that caught everyone's attention immediately. Arthur had already had that suspicion earlier and by the looks Gaius was giving him, he had come to that very same conclusion. This was not the first time Merlin had transformed into a wolf and it shows. His behavior was too calm too behaved, it was obvious he had a level of control that took long and intense training to accomplish. This is why Arthur makes time to train the Knights and the only two Betas to train in their wolf form. Because once in their wolf form, without any formal training, one can easily get lost in the mindset and the instincts of a wolf and those who transform are taken to train once they are old enough. Young Alpha's, such as children, will be consumed by the wolf but they will not be as dangerous as they like to play rather than try to kill someone. However, even they are trained by their Alpha parent so they begin that control before they can hurt someone during play accidentally.

Then all of a sudden before Arthur could question Gaius further there was howling and growling, Arthur quickly turned to the direction of the Omega to see him evading three Alphas. Before transforming and running deep into the forest, he can already see the others giving chase as he transformed himself and let out the loudest howl he had ever given. Filled with so much anger and frustration and dare he say desperation.

Then without much prompting took off after the Omega giving one final demand to the all the Knights to stay behind.

This was his prey and he will not allow others to interfere with his hunt. And as he ran he can feel his wolf running alongside him, this was the closest his wolf had ever come without losing control. Fortunately, the two had a common goal and that was to find the Omega that would dare run from them.

So he ran leaving his worried pack behind, passing those who made it few feet passed the tree line. They whimpered to him begging him to reconsider but to no avail he barely gave them a glance of acknowledgment.

He followed the Omega's scent deep into the forest chasing and chasing until he realized that he had passed the same tree more than once.

It would seem he had come across another skill that the Omega had kept from him and if he wasn't so distracted he would have noticed the diversion ahead of time before he made such an amateurish mistake. This was another example of the Omega's skill of shifting. This showed that he knew his way around a forest and how to divert a predator that may be chasing behind him. Such a distraction though reckless, done correctly, will give the prey that much needed time to put much needed distance between them.

And from what he can tell he had done this a few times as Arthur had taken an embarrassing amount of time to find his way through the loop.

Then Arthur was on his way again, this time he didn't underestimate the Omega as he had found many more scent loops, though it was easier said then done. Finding them was easy getting out of them was a bit of a challenge which is really saying something. Even though it took him a few hours he finally gotten a clear trail in the right direction and that direction was beginning to get him nervous.

It was in the direction of the ancestral cave. A cave so out of the way and so secluded only those of the Alpha Prime's immediate family and pack will be able to know where it is and it's meaning.

Arthur hoped and prayed that Merlin had not found the cave because if he does it could be disastrous. Not only for the cave but for Arthur's health and sanity as well.

However, luck was not on his side as the end of the trail led to the side of a cliff where vines of little flowers covered the entrance he knew was there Arthur groaned, this Omega really wasn't making it easy.

Merlin's POV

He could feel arms embracing his small form as a gentle hum filled his ear. A lullaby so foreign but so very familiar. He couldn't quite make out the scent but it was soft and warm. He felt safe in this embrace, like nothing could ever harm him. When suddenly a large hand found its way to the back of his hair.

Making him feel small and protected.

"Wake up son."

"It's time to wake up."

Merlin opened his eyes to see gold.

"Wake up!"

Merlin bolted upward as he was gasping for breath that he was having a hard time finding. He quickly looked around for the voice only to see Arthur kneeling next to him with a rather annoyed expression. Though there was a gleam in his eye that almost looked like worry but it quickly disappeared once Merlin's gaze settled upon him.

"Have a nice nap?" Arthur growled at him but Merlin paid him no mind as he placed his left hand on his forehead rubbing softly. As if to rub away the strange dream he had just woken from. He didn't remember what it was about but he could remember voices speaking to him, what they said he wasn't sure. However, they seemed familiar and almost safe.

Merlin nodded, "I guess as good as it can be," Merlin sighed before putting his hand down and then looked up. Though the tree branches made a secluded nest in the tree it was obvious that the light of the sun wasn't as dim as before. In fact, it was brighter so that could only mean that it was possibly early afternoon. He sighed again, "I must have slept awhile-" but he was cut off.

"Well that's swell and dandy that you're taking naps when I have an older Knight that nearly bled out!" Arthur growled though Merlin could tell that he wasn't necessarily angry per se. Just really annoyed would be a better way to describe him.

Merlin was going to give a smart reply when what Arthur said finally caught up with him, "yeah well look," Merlin sighed turning his body towards Arthur. With his legs crossed as he spoke feeling really angered by Arthur's priorities, "the guy was gonna tear Will a new one, quite literally mind you! So why are you so upset with me anyway. I mean you're the leader for God's sake! You should be thanking me rather than you fighting with me! Unless you wanted Will to-"

"Shut up!" Arthur growled looking furious now and Merlin could have sworn his eyes nearly glowed for a moment before he continued. "That Knight will be given his punishment after he is healed enough to receive it for attempting to harm an omega. The Omega will also be punished-" Arthur growled over Merlin's outrage, "for disturbing the Knight's training with his loud ruckus and siding with an outsider. However, what I am most angry about is the fact that an unknown Omega with unknown origins who can fight better than any of the senior Knights was able to harm one in wolf form!"

And there it was.

The oddity.

Spat right in Merlin's face once again.

Merlin turned his head to the right staring unseeingly at the nest, feeling greatly uncomfortable and wanting more than anything to hide under a rock in that moment. "Look can we just forget about it! It's nothing special, you guys can do it so why can't I!?" Merlin was feeling frustrated as he yelled, he could already feel the tears of frustration welling up in his eyes. Using all of his willpower, he managed to stop them before he could make a fool of himself in front of the Alpha. He didn't want to look weak, not now. Not now when they found another thing to hate him for and for some reason he didn't want to the Alpha to hate him more than he already did.

There was silence for a moment before a sigh of frustration was released from the man in front of him, "you damn Omega so damn frustrating," he muttered and before Merlin could turn to him to reprimand him. A hand forcefully grabbed his left shoulder and pushed him roughly onto his back as a rather annoyed Alpha towered over him. His blue eyes glaring, a halo of light from the branches caused his hair to shine golden, his muscles bulging to show his strength, and his scent was filling up in his nose then ever before and it was almost like he was drowning in it. Even being held down was doing something for him.

He was so utterly infuriating.

He was so utterly strong.

He was so utterly golden.

He was so utterly mouth wateringly handsome!

It was distracting!

Oh how he was going to get out of this one was beyond him and he was taught to have plans for back up plans of back up plans.

And his eyes was staring at him so hungrily like he might just eat him alive.

So with Merlin's heart hammering in his chest, he might just let him.

Okay so life didn't work out very well.

But anyway I hope you enjoyed!
