AU: I know it's been a very long time since I've written anything. It's the beginning of the school year and I've just giving out the required lab safety sheets along with the required lecture. It reminded me of a series of drabbles I had had written. I have lost a lot of material but somehow this fragment was saved.
Safety First (part 1)
That was rich, Danny thought as his parents sat him and Jazz down to have the annual lecture on lab safety. The burn marks on his arm still had not completely healed from having to subdue the waffle iron at breakfast.
"Danny, stop rolling your eyes at me," his mother sighed, "I know you've heard it before, but when it comes to substances with unknown properties and high voltages, you can't be too careful."
Danny couldn't help looking at the basement wall where the ghost portal waited behind the closed Fenton Lock.
"Trust me, I get it," he said emphatically.
